In this MHWFY Voice of Love interview (brought to you by VoiceLove), Kiersten LeBar joins us for an awesome conversation about how to operationalize loving practices as part of a greater Loving Organization.
Kiersten is the Associate Chief Nursing Officer of Women’s, Children’s, and Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina, a journey that started many years earlier when she was a pediatric patient at MUSC for cardiac care.
Her experiences at MUSC, especially of one particular nurse who made a huge impression on her by going the extra mile lead her to a career in nursing, and ultimately back to South Carolina to join the team at MUSC.
She shares how she leads with loving practices, stays connected to her team, the importance of listening and learning from the teams, and how to build support for priorities, get past challenges that arise, and plan for the future.
