Special Needs Child: goal setting do’s and don’ts

Goal setting with your Special Needs Child. It’s a recipe for failure and low self-esteem: 

1. Setting goals for your kid instead of with them. 
2. Only setting goals focused on the outcome like high scores and being able to go to college and or university. 
3. Compare your special needs child and decide how good your kid is doing, based on what their average peers can do. 

There are more roads that lead to Rome. And by the way, why Rome? Maybe your kid decided to go and is way better off in Barcelona. So, in this episode I talk about how to set goals with your kids that truly help them and how they do want to work on them.
