The Spilled Milk Podcast/Balanced Breastfeeding Solutions CLC Scholarship. We believe in the power of creating sustainable community based lactation support in lactation and postpartum desert areas. We have identified the Maywood Illinois area by following statistics of low breastfeeding rates, and low postpartum resources in this community. When applying for this scholarship you must be committed to serving the Maywood Illinois community once a month through Breastfeeding Class or Breastfeeding Support group for 12 consecutive months. The breastfeeding classes or support group would be set up by Balanced Breastfeeding Solutions and community partners in Maywood Illinois. Class dates will be picked with the community needs and your schedule in mind. The virtual Certified Lactation Counselor training should be completed in the timeframe that will be dictated by Balanced Breastfeeding Solutions, and the platform providing the Certified Lactation Counselor training.
