Hey, beautiful soul. Welcome infor another episode of spirit

(00:46):
speakeasy. Today we are talkingabout 2026, numerology,
forecast, the 11 themes foruniversal one year. Today, we're
stepping into one of my favoriteconversations of the year. This
is our yearly energetic forecastthrough numerology and 2026.
Isn't just any year. It's auniversal one year, the true

(01:10):
beginning of a brand new nineyear cycle. So think of it as
this energetic sunrise for thisnext decade, like a fresh
canvas, a turning point of thecosmic soil, the moment in life,
when life kind of leans in andwhispers, hey, something new is
awakening, a universal one yearis filled with fresh starts and

(01:33):
brave beginnings, creativity, innovation and the kind of soul
level momentum that nudges youtowards who you're becoming.
It's the green light from theuniverse that says, let's go
right. But beginnings can feeltender and challenging too, as
we all know. So in this episode,we're exploring the 11 major

(01:54):
themes shaping the energy of2026 including the hopeful parts
and the hard ones. We'll talkall about independence, courage,
originality, planting seeds forthe future, and also grief,
boundary shifts and some headsup about these shadow patterns
that might surface or resurfacefor you as you grow. So whenever

(02:18):
you're listening from today, take a moment breathe, open your
heart and think about what couldunfold for you in a year
designed for renewal andpossibility and new inspiration.
My intentions to help you feelgrounded, informed and inspired
so you can move through 2026with clarity, confidence and

(02:42):
trust in your own intuitivepath. Let's dive in. I want to
quickly acknowledge where thisidea of universal one comes
from. So essentially, with theidea of numerology, it's the
energy of numbers, and the onecomes from adding the year
together. So the numbers 2026,of 2026, reduce down to a single

(03:05):
digit as a number one. Andnumerology is a cycle of one
through nine, with each numberhaving different themes and
representing different things.
So for this episode, I look atthe traditional themes of what
the year means. So like what thenumber means, the one in this

(03:27):
year, last year was the nine, ifyou want to go back and revisit
that one and see what rolled outfor you and how these
predictions came to be in yourown life. But essentially, I
take the energy of the actualnumber of year that we are
numerologically entering, plus Itune into the vibrational energy
of the year itself. So I lovedoing this episode. It's one of

(03:50):
the only prediction typeepisodes that we do here. And I
want to really share these 11themes with you so you can have
a heads up so that you canharness this energy in the best
ways and most aligned wayspossible for you. So one of the
themes for the 11 themes of thisone year in 2026 is New

(04:13):
Beginnings, fresh starts andunexpected opportunities. I'm
going to roll through all ofthese themes, and hopefully
you'll start to see how they cantake shape in your life again.
2026. Is a universal one year, which is the start of a brand
new nine cycle, nine year cycle.
And this is like the energetickind of New Year's Day for the
entire 10 years ahead, this yearplus the next eight. So it's a

(04:37):
feeling of standing at thethreshold with like a blank
page, a fresh path, and thesense that something new wants
to begin. So this energysupports major life moves. This
energy can support things likeshifting careers, moving homes,
starting businesses or a newversion. Of your business,

(04:59):
redefining your identity,experiencing a spiritual
awakening, or if you alreadyhave had a spiritual awakening,
allowing it to deepen and matureto a new level. This can be
about opening new relationshipsor new phases in existing
relationships, and sometimeslife does the pushing for us. So

(05:19):
numerology.com explains that ina one year, we're not merely
invited to begin something new.
We are expected to and resistingthat change can mean the
universe will nudge us anyway,or give us a little push anyway.
So if you felt that subtlefeeling of, I can't keep living

(05:41):
the old way, or there must besomething else, or I can't keep
doing it like this, that rumbleinside of you, then you are
already feeling the earlytremors of this cycle. And I do
find that often, those of usthat are energetically
sensitive, we are often kind offeeling these vibes a little bit
ahead of when the New Year isrolling in. So I wouldn't be

(06:02):
surprised if you've been kind ofgetting this sense for a little
bit now. So this second themehas to do with independence,
self reliance, individuality andpersonal freedom. A universal
one year spotlightsindividuality and self reliance.
Think of like the physical ideaof the number one. It is a

(06:24):
single individual standingalone. Now this isn't about
isolating or feeling burdened, like I have to do everything
myself, type of energy that isthat more distorted, or we call
it the shadow version of thatfeeling, right, the emotion that
we'll talk about a little bitlater in this episode. I promise
we're going to talk about theshadow side of things, so you

(06:45):
can kind of be prepared and healto the best of your ability. So
it's not about isolating, beingalone, being a martyr, being a
victim. This is more alignedwith that version of like I can
trust myself. I can rely on mygifts. I can follow my own
compass. I have permission to bemyself. I can take the lead in

(07:08):
my own life. I can look foranswers inside of me instead of
asking an audience of everyoneelse. So in this type of energy,
this independence, selfreliance, individuality,
personal freedom. You might feela pull to make your own
decisions, maybe hopefully alittle bit more confidently, but

(07:29):
it's that feeling of like, oh, Idon't. No one else is going to
decide for me. I want to decidefor myself. I want to have
autonomy. I want to have say.
And this can be over your body, over your life, over your
career, different areas of yourlife. Another thing you might be
feeling a pull for is to stepout of roles where you are over

(07:50):
giving, because in this energyof the one, it's not about being
a victim or a martyr. It's aboutintentionally choosing where
we're giving and honoringourselves and others by not over
giving. So you might havealready been getting the vibe of
it being a little bithighlighted to you in your life,
some areas where you're like,I'm overextended here, or I'm

(08:11):
giving too much here, this isn'tgoing to work for me. So how we
respond, of course, is our freewill choice, but just the the
sensation, the feeling, theknowing that's what that's
about. So it could even be apull for you to feel like you
really want to start creating alife that reflects who you have
become. This doesn't apply toeveryone, but we often see a lot

(08:34):
of breakdown of relationshipsaround a one year, kind of nine
into the one. Because maybewe've outgrown some
relationships in our lives.
Maybe we're really needing ourpersonal freedom and
individuality and independence, and as a contrast to that,
starting to realize how perhapscertain aspects of our life
honor who we were, but not honorwho we have become right in this

(08:57):
last cycle. So those type ofthings might start feeling like
sand in your shoes, like justgetting your awareness of like,
I don't love that, or I don'tlike that. This is showing up
this way in my life. Or, yeah, Iknow I had agreed to be on this
committee in the past, butactually, I'm feeling like this
charity doesn't align with whoI've become now. So it can be

(09:19):
little stirrings like that. Youmight also be feeling a pull to
stop waiting for permission.
This was a big one for me manyyears ago, when I really
realized I was often looking forguidance or approval outside of
myself and wanting, likepermission to make big decisions

(09:40):
or big changes or big choices, Ijust felt like I needed someone
else to say it was okay, eventhough I didn't realize that's
what was happening. So it was abig awareness for me, maybe for
you, if you feel stuck, it's agreat like and check engine
light to check in on. Like, do Ineed someone's permission here?
Do I know. I want, and if I do,why am I not making tiny steps

(10:05):
towards it? Do I feel like Ineed someone's permission? Or do
I feel like, Oh, I can't do thatbecause this person needs this,
or that person needs that? Sojust kind of checking in on this
idea of like, are you waitingfor someone's permission because
you're independent, you haveself reliance, you're an
individual. You have personalfreedom. Okay? So this next,
number three in this 11potentials, 11 streams of what's

(10:32):
going to happen this year isleadership and initiative. So a
one year is a year of puttingthings into motion. We're not
expected to have it perfect. Iknow some of us myself as a
recovering perfectionist, wewant it to be like all ready and
perfect before we present it tothe world. That is not the
energy of a one year. A one yearis really about

(10:55):
working with things and takingaction as we are figuring things
out. Trial and error is okay.
Here, it's more about ourunderlying intentions, if our
intentions in the right place,if we're taking initiative, if
we're stepping into leadership,we don't have to be perfect to
be a leader in any scenario. Wejust have to come with ideas and
the right heart and the abilityto bring people together. So in

(11:17):
a one year life, the universerewards effort, action,
momentum, perfection doesn'tmatter here. So it's about
movement. Are you movingsomething forward? Are you
brainstorming about it? Are youresearching about it? Are you
calling that local office to seewhat business license you need

(11:38):
for it? Right? It's not justlaying back and putting it way
out on the timeline, thinkinglike I'm going to do that one
day in the future. I'm going toI'm going to get to that. It's
really taking action to buildmomentum now, and the universe
will show up to meet you, tohelp you, to point things out to
you. So this one year energy asit relates to leadership and
initiative really encourages youto do things like pitch a new

(12:01):
idea. Maybe you've had an idea, but you haven't wanted to pitch
it. Take that initiative, pitchthat new idea, launch that thing
that you have been dreamingabout. Maybe you want to start a
podcast of your own, or a blogor a channel, or it doesn't even
have to be digital or social.
Maybe there's something you'vebeen dreaming about starting.

(12:22):
Launch the thing, get thecooperative components together.
It doesn't have to be perfect.
You will always learn and growas you go. But start the thing.
Claim your voice is another one.
Here. You do have your ownopinions and perspective, and a
lot of people pleasers orsensitives, our tendency is
sometimes to dim that light ornot use our voice. This year is

(12:46):
about claiming your voice, taking a seat at the table that
you have been circling, right ifyou've been kind of peeking into
a meeting or a table, and youreally, really wish you had a
seat at that table. How can youtake that seat at the table? How
can you use your voice? How canyour voice be one of the choir,
right? And this really is theenergy with this leadership and

(13:08):
initiative about beginningbefore you feel ready. Now, you
know, I believe in preparation.
You know, I believe in doing ourhomework and coming to
understanding and getting, youknow, the practical side in
order, but if we are alwayswaiting until we feel completely
ready, I didn't feel completelyready to start this podcast,
which, by the way, happyanniversary. We are at our three

(13:30):
year 2022, to 2023 our threeyear anniversary of the pod this
month. So Happy anniversary toall of you. I did not feel
ready. I had done my research, Iresearched the platforms and the
equipment, and I listened toother people's podcasts that I
enjoyed, of course, and I hadsome rough ideas, but I've

(13:50):
learned so much as I've gone. Soyes, do your due diligence, but
you have to begin before youfeel completely and fully ready.
If it's not a little bit outsideyour comfort zone, you're
probably not thinking bigenough, and that is what this
year is asking. Leadership hereisn't about titles. It's not
about like, oh, I need thistitle before I can do it. It's

(14:13):
about initiating your own life, taking that initiative and going
for the things you want, askingabout that thing you're
interested in, not just beingquiet in the background.
Initiative. That's not to saythat we want to be careless, of
course, but it's just more aboutacknowledging that we're a work
in progress and giving yourselfpermission to be that work in

(14:36):
progress and not waiting forperfection in order to take
action. I hope that makes sense.
But the third theme isleadership and initiative. Okay,
fourth of our 11 themes for2026, and the energy and
potential is courage. This isthis courage is like a green

(14:56):
light to begin so a universalone year gives kind. A cosmic
green light. It doesn't mean theuniverse hands you a blueprint
or a map with bullet pointsalong the road. It means that
you're supported to begin, evenif you feel unsure or
unprepared, you need courage.
Sometimes we have to bring thatcourage as the ingredient

(15:18):
ourself. Don't wait for like, awave of courage. You know, it's
that famous saying, feel thefear and do it anyway. So
perhaps you are invited to speakand do a TED talk, let's just
say, in front of a group ofpeople. But you're like, oh my
gosh, I don't feel ready. Idon't feel prepared. Write your
speech. Work with someone on it,do what you can, but don't

(15:42):
cancel because you can't findthe courage. Courage often
happens as a result of doing thething. So a major theme for 2026
is brave, momentum, right? Feelthe fear, feel the uncertainty,
and take the baby steps anyway.
I'm reminded with this one ofThomas Edison. He said something

(16:05):
remarkably aligned with thespirit of a one year in a 20 or
1921 interview, he reflected onhis many inventions and
experiments. You may have heardthis quote before. He said, I've
not failed 10,000 times. I'vesucceeded in discovering 10,000
ways that don't work, it's likethat 10,000 ways not to make a
light bulb, right? So a yearthat is a one year is that same

(16:30):
spirit, curiosity overperfection, resilience over
outcome, courage over clarity, because we're not going to have
a clear view of the board game,of everything that's about to
happen, all the components goingon in any given moment. We just
can't know all of that. So wehave to have courage to continue
to take baby steps forward andremember that self trust, that

(16:54):
self reliance, to trustourselves to make decisions
about our life along the way. Sohopefully you're seeing how
these themes intertwine. Eventhough they're separate themes,
they really wrap together inincredible ways. So don't be
surprised or discouraged. If thepath forward seems unclear this
year, it probably will, at leastin bits and parts. Right

(17:18):
uncertainty is generally a keyingredient needed for us to
exercise courage. It's reallyannoying. It's what Abraham
Hicks talks about with contrast.
We have to be in the contrast ofthe thing to know. Sometimes to
know what we want, we have toexperience what we don't want.
To know what's good enough orwhat's enough for us, we have to
experience lack sometimes, right? So it's a world of

(17:41):
duality of opposites. So don'tbe surprised if this path seems
a little unclear this year, likeI was saying, You're not going
to know all the components thatare going on in the background.
You're not going to see howeverything can come together
right away. The path is probablygoing to be uncertain, because
that is the key ingredient forus to exercise courage, if
everything is certain and weknow exactly what's going to

(18:04):
happen, no courage needed. So Iexpect the universe to show up
and give us opportunities topractice courage in places we
feel fearful or uncertain. Sofeel the fear or uncertainty and
keep taking those baby stepsforward anyway, number five of
the 11 themes of 2026 isinnovation, creativity and

(18:26):
pioneering energy. So this isnot about repeating the past,
discovery, experimenting andleaving room for pivots and
surprises. Is more of the vibeof this one. It's not about
like, how do we recreatesomething of the past? It's
think about like, innovation, creativity, that and that energy

(18:47):
of like a pioneer going into newfrontier, doing it a new way,
trying something new. The numberone is the pioneer of
numerology. It's forward moving,it's inventive. It's
imaginative. This isn't the yearto do things the way you've
always done them and get theresults you've always gotten.

(19:07):
That's not the vibe. So I wouldexpect new ideas to be coming
in, but also new ideas to berequired. So if you're feeling
stuck, it's like, how do we lookat this from a new perspective?
How do we get fresh ideas? Canwe, you know, in film and
television, they they doscreeners. So they often will
have a project with, like, let'sjust say, two endings, and

(19:29):
they'll test the screener infront of different audiences to
see what their new fresh ideasare. Do they like the ending?
Why don't they like it? Do theylike this ending versus that
ending. So it's that kind of ayear where we're going to need
to, like I said, test andexperiment, but bring innovation
and new ideas. This is a Year ofCreative nudges. So you will be

(19:50):
getting lots of creative nudges.
I highly suggest either get anotebook, or if you're digital,
create a note section forcreative nudges. The universe is
going to give us creativenudges. Our ingredient is to
bring action, right? Creativity.
Action. How do we innovate withthese creative ideas? I expect
you to be getting inspirationfor new projects or new ways of

(21:13):
looking at something. So ifthere's a project that you've
been working on, you might findthat it just doesn't feel like
it's moving forward with theenergy that has in the past. And
then you will know from these 11themes, okay, I need to look at
an innovative, creative, freshway to move this forward, or to
present this, or to be doingthis for this new year. The

(21:37):
desire is really to break out ofold routines, old structures,
old habits. We need solutionsthat feel maybe out of the box,
modern, unusual, sometimessurprising solutions. So not
just in our own lives, but Ialso expect to see this in the
world overall, because we're inthis part of the cycle where old

(22:00):
structures need to be brokendown the the those structures
and organizations and ordersthat are not working, maybe they
worked for our nations and ourglobal community at one time in
the past, but they don't worknow. They haven't been working
for a while. So sometimes weneed to take down an old
structure or let it break apartto build something new. So just

(22:22):
be available that that is partof the vibe of the year. I just
want you to be aware in a bigway and in our own lives too. So
it's a year of experimentation,of leaving room for pivots and
plot twists. This does alsomean, if you're going to travel
book extra time, meaning like, try not to take those flights

(22:42):
that have, like, no layoverbetween, if possible, leave
spaciousness. Plan for pivots.
Plan for plot twists, right.
Plan for plans to change at thelast minute. Just be prepared
for that type of energy, becausethat can happen in a one year.
Your intuition may start pushingyou to try something that scares
you, or to explore somethingyou've never considered this is

(23:08):
this innovation, thiscreativity. Sometimes we need
our creativity stirred. We'recreative beings, sentient
beings, right? We need toexperience something new or
different or totally fresh toget our own creativity churning.
So I wouldn't be surprised ifyou're feeling pulled to places
that you're like I never wantedto explore that place before. I

(23:30):
never wanted to read this kindof book before, because really,
we're coming out of the old anddoing it a new way. Remember, if
you do what you've always done, you will get what you've always
gotten. And the universe wantsyou to experience something new.
So it might even be as simple asyou starting to think about with

(23:50):
this new year coming in. Oh, isthere a different way I could be
doing this? Is there an updatedway? Is there a more modern way?
Is there a simpler way? Is therea deeper way, right? So just
kind of reevaluating thosethings that we're doing now,
this brings me to our number sixtheme, of these 12 or 11 themes,
sorry, of 2026.

(24:13):
Originality is our number sixtheme. This is more about
becoming more of who you trulyare. It's not about you living
outside of your personality.
It's about taking that privatepart of your personality and
letting it become more of whoyou are in all areas of your
life. So in a one year, theuniverse emphasizes
authenticity. You might feelpulled towards choices that

(24:35):
reflect your real self, yoursoul, identity, your deepest
values. This is not where youbegin saying, like, I'm gonna
keep doing it the way I'vealways done it. This is where
you begin saying, Oh, that's notme anymore. I know we used to do
it this way. I know we used todo this for our holiday

(24:56):
celebration, or I used tocelebrate my birthday like this.
Or I used to not celebrate mybirthday, and now I want to
right so it can be simple thingswithin our own lives, but it
really is that feeling of like, you know what, that just not me
anymore, that doesn't resonatewith me, or that's the I don't
vibe with that anymore. Sothere's a new version of you

(25:16):
continuing to emerge, and asthis version of you emerges, you
just might find differentpreferences or different ways of
doing things, or more likely, you'll find that old ways that
you've always done it is notgiving you the same revolt
results not giving you the sameinspiration or motivation, and
maybe you need to be a littlemore original in The way you're

(25:39):
going about things. I think weall know the world doesn't need
copies, right? We need eachindividual person's signature,
their perspective, theiroriginal vibration. So really,
this is a year to embrace yourquirks. Put them out there,
right? Live out loud and. Shareyour gifts. If you're someone

(26:01):
that's been kind of not sharingone of your gifts. This is a
wonderful time to start lettingthat freak flag fly.
Proverbially, so to speak, thisis a great time to step out of
old labels, right? I have afriend that has been labeled in
several ways through differenttesting that they've done over

(26:21):
the years, and they always say, like, I don't agree to labels.
Because people will say like,Oh, you have ADHD, and they'll
say like, oh, I don't agree tolabels, don't, don't label me
like that. This is a focus, focus that I'm working on,
right? So maybe some labels thatyou carried before are not going
to work for this new version ofyou that you're becoming, maybe

(26:42):
you used to be considered likethe practical one, or the down
to earth one, the one who didn'ttake chances, who was
uncomfortable with new things.
And maybe this year, you feellike you know what. I want to
try one new dish a month. Let'sjust say I want to try one new
experience a month, I want totry once a month listening to

(27:04):
different type of music, right?
So it's figuring out who are younow and what is this version of
you like? What do you like to becalled? What do you like to be
labeled or not labeled? How doyou feel let go of those old
generic paths, right path tosuccess, path to who you want to
be, path to whatever it is andbecome the most aligned version

(27:25):
of yourself. Maybe you've feltlike you've been waiting to do
this for a lot of years. Well, this is the year, like it or
not, sometimes things willbubble up around us that if we
are sitting too comfortably inour comfort zone, the universe
will like, bubble up some hotlava around us. So we have to
move. So if you are not able toembrace your quirks, live as

(27:47):
your most most aligned, likeauthentic, original self, then
chances are this year is goingto find ways to bring it out of
you. So I just might. Andthere's lots of ways you can do
it. You can do it with how youspeak to people. You can do it
with your fashion. You can do itwith just things that aren't

(28:08):
working for you. And what is acreative solution that is part
of your originality, that istrue to you, your gifts, your
quirks, what you need in thismoment in time. You know,
there's a past version of methat I would try so hard to
answer every email that anyonesent any hour until I was asleep

(28:29):
and like first thing in themorning, and I would go out of
my way to be checking like anincessant amount of times. And
that just doesn't work for menow. And actually, something I'm
going to work on startingtowards the New Year. Here is
I'm going to be setting an awaymessage on my email, if I can
remember, I've been trying tostart doing it already, but on

(28:50):
my days off, because I don'thave necessarily the same days
off as as a typical schedule, because I try to make myself
available for my clients on theweekends. So I want to put an
away message so it lets peopleknow on the days that I'm
supposed to be off, I usuallyget, like, one day off a week,
if that, it'll send a message soI don't feel that pressure of

(29:11):
like, oh, this person's waitingfor a response and I need to
respond to them. It'll give theman automated message to say,
Hey, I'm out of the office untilTuesday, and I'll get back to
you as soon as I can. So whatare little things that can be
part of what you need now, partof your originality, your
quirks, what helps you thrivethe most and be able to express

(29:33):
as the most aligned version ofyou? Okay? So instead of asking,
Why me, this year ask, why notme? Why? Why not you? Right?
Originality, number six. Okay,so number seven of these 11
themes of 2026. Is plantingseeds for the future. Now, in
some ways, we're always doingthis right. Things that we

(29:56):
decide today will affect ourpath going forward, choices
we're making now set up thefuture for us, right? So this
year, in a one universal year,is about laying foundations that
will echo throughout the rest ofthis nine year cycle. It's a
year of discovery, a time toexperiment, to try new things,

(30:17):
and to plant seeds withoutgetting too hung up on the final
results. Now, some of us thatare recovering perfectionists or
just very dedicated individualswho are overachievers, we want
to know, okay, what are theseseeds I'm planning? Are these
carrot seeds? Are these lettuceseeds? Because I only want to

(30:38):
plant the seeds for what I want?
Well, it doesn't work that way.
So a one year means you'replanting seeds that will grow
over this next nine year cycle.
But we don't always get to as weknow, control the outcome,
right? So then, how do we workon planting seeds if we can't
guarantee the outcome? You don'tneed a finished plant. Plan to

(31:01):
do this, you only need clearintentions and consistent
action, because, remember, thisis a year of discovery. So
you're learning Who are you now?
Who are you growing into? Whatworks for you, what doesn't it's
a time to experiment, to try newthings, and as we try new
things, just the act ofexperimenting and trying new
things alone. Plants seeds.

(31:26):
Plant seeds of curiosity, plantseeds of excitement, plant seeds
of opportunity, right? So, forexample, I love to travel. I
haven't gotten to do it as muchof the last handful of years as
I typically like. But if I amlooking into travel and
interested in travel andplanning some trips, even if I

(31:47):
don't have all the finishedplans done, I'm sending signals
to the universe that I want toplant seeds for travel, for
exploration. Now, if I'mattached to how that shows up,
it's going to be a mess. Sothere might be some places that
I know I hope to go. But some ofthis is experimenting, trying
new things. Maybe I'm also goingto take a road trip. Maybe I'm

(32:08):
going to go somewhere that Inever had been interested in
exploring before, right? Becauseit's a year of discovery. So try
to let yourself explore andexperiment and discover. Part of
that will be planting these newseeds and not getting too hung
up on the final results ofthings. It's a time to really

(32:28):
set foundations withoutobsessing over these final
results. So what you can do isstart asking yourself things
like, what feels interesting tome, maybe for your leisure. You
know you've always just gone todinner with friends. Maybe that
feels boring now. Maybe youthink like, oh, you know what?
I'd really You guys know I lovestand up comedy. Maybe I'd love

(32:49):
to start seeing some stand upcomedy that feels interesting.
And then you're just openingyour mind, opening your life up
to new, fun experiences, andmaybe one of your friends will
also say, Hey, I've been wantingto try. I want to go to this
show. Will you go with me? Andthen maybe you're like, yes, I
want to try that, right? So itreally is a time for

(33:11):
experimenting. What feelsinteresting to you should be a
core question this year. Anothergreat question is, what am I
curious about that I would wantto learn more about? Right? So
again, it's new experiences.
Maybe you're curious about acertain type of cooking or a
certain way of cooking, right?

(33:32):
Maybe it has to do with your owncreativity. Maybe you're curious
about history. Maybe, I mean, there's a million things we
could be curious about, butletting that curiosity move in
you let it inspire you to takeaction. And as you take action
on what you're being inspiredabout, that is what plants the
seeds. So continuing to refuseto take action or invest any

(33:55):
time or energy into somethingdoesn't plant the seed,
resisting. Sometimes plant seedstoo, but it's really about
getting curious. And you caneven ask yourself, what seed
feels worth planting. Now, forme, in this last year, that's
been about intentionallycultivating my close
relationships in a differentway, making sure to get plans on

(34:16):
the calendar, to see the peopleI care about as regularly as I
can. So that's planting thatseed intentionally. So we can do
it intentionally, but also as weget curious and take action, we
are planting seeds. So alongthose lines, if there's
something that you are verystressed out about, of course,

(34:36):
do the practical research ormitigation or whatever you can
do. Right? If you have a leak inyour roof, don't just have a
wish and a prayer hire a roofer.
But if there's something you'reobsessing about and stressing
about and just letting it getyou frazzled in your emotions
and not actually working toresolve or to heal or to take
action, those are the seedsyou're planting. So just know

(35:00):
seeds can be challenged, orseeds can be wonderful, and you
are in charge of them. So we areplanting seeds this year. So you
just get on your garden hat andget excited the the
this year, your future, likeyour future self, is partly

(35:20):
shaped by what you choose tobegin in 2026 so think about,
you know, we're just at the tailend in 2025 of this nine year
cycle. Think about, let's say,10 years ago, you you in 2015 I
can't even remember. I'd have toreally look this is why I love
this. How a lot of our phoneskeep the photos and keep them

(35:44):
with the dates and things andemails so so if you want go back
to 2015 2016 and see who wereyou then, and how did this
version of you that's now startto come into play, because the
things that you're. Choosingright now as part of this
planting seeds, this is going tostart to determine the paths

(36:07):
that open up for you in thesenext years, the versions of you
that get to come forward. Areyou going to let that quirky,
creative, artistic, expressiveversion of you come out, or is
she going to have to stay in thecloset because you're not
planting any seeds for her, right? Okay, I hope I have stood
on that soapbox long enough. Thefuture you is partly shaped by

(36:29):
what you choose to begin in 2026intentionally choose to begin
something delicious, whatever itis, Okay?
Our next theme. I get so excitedabout these themes. You guys
and I do look back at theseepisodes kind of every quarter
throughout the year to see whatthemes have already showed up,
how they're showing up in mylife, how they're showing up in

(36:52):
the world in general. And lastyear was a doozy. So if you want
some fun, go back and see howthat rolled out. Now let's move
on to this number eight theme ofthe 11 themes of 2026 now this
one has to do with griefclearing and mixed emotions. So
grief clearing and why somepeople feel both raw and hopeful

(37:16):
at the same time is part of thisenergy. Some of it is that it's
okay to grieve the loss of ourpast selves, maybe how we were
talking about 10 years ago, version of you, maybe that
version of you thought you'd behaving an entirely different
career right now, orrelationship or experience,
right so we have to honor andgrieve those past versions of

(37:39):
ourselves, or the versions ofourself that didn't get to be
past opportunities, whilefeeling hopeful about our
future. And these two things canbe true at once. So these mixed
emotions that we can expect thisyear,
in some ways, boils down toholding two energies at the same
time. I often think of this oneas Have you ever had it where

(38:04):
you have something reallyamazing going on in your life,
and someone close to you hassomething really hard going on
in their life, or vice versa? Mybest friend just had kind of a
hard little speed bump go onwith with a health challenge
with someone in her life, and Ihad some really exciting things
happening, and so it's holdingthose two energies at once. She

(38:25):
was able to be happy for meabout my happy thing, and, you
know, dealing with her hardthing, and vice versa, I was
able to have time and compassionand empathy and support for her
in this hard thing, while I alsofelt happy about my happy thing,
because we can. We are complexcreatures. We can hold more than

(38:45):
one emotion at the same time. Ifwe are waiting for every puzzle
piece to be dropped in itsproper slot, for everyone to be
okay, for the world to beperfect, for everything to be
happy and love and light beforewe do our next thing, it is
never going to happen. This is aworld of mixed emotions, and the
one year highlights that maybemore than any of the others. So

(39:09):
even though a one year energy ishopeful, right? It's fresh, it's
new, it's the threshold manypeople enter a one year feeling
like raw, emotionally or verytender, even though a one year
energy is hopeful, exciting, next chapter, new potential at
the threshold of this new nineyear phase, it's exciting on one

(39:32):
hand, right, hopeful. Theenergy, for some people can feel
very heavy, very tender, veryraw. That's because the year
before, right? This 2025, thatwe're just stepping out of is
the universal nine year. It'sall about endings, release,
completion, the falling away ofso we can step into the newness,

(39:54):
right? Think of like sheddingold skin. It's like a snake
shedding its skin, so then itcan be rejuvenated. That's part
of this energy, too. So it'stotally normal to feel a mix of
emotions in this one year. It'snormal to feel things like
grief, for old versions of you,for things that didn't get to
happen. I have a friend who isgrieving this idea that they're

(40:18):
not going to have kids. Theyalways, you know, they they
really pursued a wonderfulcareer in the world, and they
kind of had the intention thatmaybe one day they would have
kids, but it just didn't workout that way for them, for lots
of reasons. So they're grievingthat kind of unrecognized or
unrealized opportunity,unfulfilled potential. Right for

(40:42):
myself, I've had to kind ofgrieve the idea that I'm never
going to have an acting career.
There was a part of me that atone time thought, oh yeah, maybe
I'll go back one day and startexploring that career again. But
just like we were talking aboutwith that other theme, it's
about understanding who we arenow and what's aligned with who
we've become well then. Careeris no longer aligned with who've
I, who I've become. It's nolonger part of what excites me

(41:04):
or what I want to step into. Soeven though I'm very happy and
love what I'm doing now, andfeel so grateful and profoundly
moved that I get to work withthe spirit world and get to be
here with all of you, there is apart of me that grieves, that
version of me who wantedsomething different and who, for
lots of reasons, didn't get tofulfill that version of my path,

(41:26):
right? But I get to do it in adifferent way. So I wouldn't be
surprised if you are havingthings like that, realizations
like that come to your mind oflike, oh, I chose this instead
of this. I chose this fork inthe road instead of going down
this avenue, and now this iswhat my life looks like. So it's
okay to grieve old versions ofus. It's okay to feel sadness

(41:49):
for what didn't get to unfold.
It's okay to feel regrets aroundthings that held you back or
where you held yourself back, because truly often it's us
holding ourselves back. It'sokay to feel emotional residue
from the past, cycle, from thesepast nine years. I think we've

(42:11):
all been through quite a lot.
It's okay to have residualemotions. It's not like clean
slate emotionally, right?
Because we collect data from theemotions we've experienced from
the life we've lived. So it'simportant to take that wisdom
with us, but sometimes we do getto grieve those parts of the
paths that were maybe justunrealized. You can feel hopeful

(42:34):
for the future and still grievethe past at the same time. I
know it's hard, especially whenwe are really grieving like a
person or the end of a career orthe end of a relationship, it
can feel hard to be in griefabout that thing and still hold
hope for the future, hold lovefor ourselves and parts of the

(42:54):
life that we have. But both canbe true, both can coexist. Both
are valid, and it's okay to letyourself honor what has been and
still step forward and actually,it is required of us this year.
Think of it like the butterflyin the chrysalis, right? The
caterpillar goes into weavingthat silk web of a cocoon,

(43:18):
mourning the loss, understandingit's not a caterpillar anymore,
right? It's in that littlecocoon, and its body is
dissolving, and it's becomingsomething else. So maybe it
realizes like, Oh, I'm not acaterpillar anymore. And that's
a little scary, right? Maybe alittle anxious about the
becoming, because it doesn'tknow yet that it's going to get
to be a beautiful butterfly andlearn to fly one year is kind of

(43:42):
like where we're in the middleof that chrysalis, right? We
were not a caterpillar. We'renot last year. We're not who we
have been, but we're not fullyyet who we are working to
become. We're in that middleuncertain, things changing,
maybe things feeling a littlemurky or like not fully laid out
in our plan, maybe it feels alittle messy. We're low

(44:05):
butterflies this year, so justkind of keep that image in your
mind, because truly, there aregoing to be some mixed emotions
this year, and it is not you. Itis all part of the energy of
this year. So let's move on toour ninth theme for this 2026,
universal one year of these 11themes. So number nine is

(44:27):
aligning vision and action. Andthese themes, it really took a
lot for me to that's why a lotof them have more than one name,
because it's I've really triedto boil them down and condense
them, because there's a lot thisyear, and these are all
important, but this is one ofthe most important ones. So one
year, energy demands, I'm goingto use that word intentionally.
Demands integrity between whatwe say that we want and what we

(44:51):
actually do. If we speak change, right or we say we want change,
we want something, but we don'ttake any action. That energy,
that momentum that I was talkingabout that we can get with a one
year will totally stall. So Ithink let's not talk about us.
Let's talk about someone else. Ithink we all can think of a

(45:11):
person that we know, eithercurrently in our lives or that
we've known at some time in ourlife that always says they're
going to do this big thing, they're going to go on this
trip. They're going to learnthis course of study. They want
to be an XYZ. They want to be anactor. They want to be a writer.
They want to get in shape. Theywant to work on their health.

(45:32):
But they take zero action. Andin some cases, they're taking
action to the contrary, right?
They're doing the opposite ofwhat they say they want to do,
and how they want to show upwhen we do that, the universe is
getting mixed messages and isunderstanding in our energy, oh,
they're saying they're notready. They're saying they're
not ready for that. They don'twant that. So this is about

(45:53):
being aligned in integrity, inour vision, in our uh. A like,
core energy of who we are and inour actions in the world. So
it's that whole picture, andit's really bringing it
together. I have been gettingthe nudge for like, the past
year about some things I need towork on that I'm saying that I
want, I want to be able to usemy body into as many more years

(46:16):
as I get. I want to be maintainmy flexibility. I need to get a
little bit stronger, if I'mhonest, talking to all my bone
density friends out there. SoI'm saying these things, but
there was a little while of lastyear that I was taking marked
action on it, but for the mostof the year, I haven't been
taking a lot of action on it,and that is something that I

(46:37):
need to come congruent with. Ieither need to stop saying it
and just let it go and say, Idon't care if I'm strong and
healthy, I'm just gonna eatthese Cheetos and live my best
life. Or I need to start takingsome sort of marked action,
right? I did some actions lastyear, so I know what it is. I
know. I mean, it's part of mylife, my whole life, so I know

(46:59):
how to do it. So what are thosethings that you're saying you
want, or you have historicallysaid that you want, but you are
not taking any action, andyou're out of alignment, right?
You're out of integrity.
This can even be like theintegrity between your desire

(47:20):
and your daily choices. So ifyou say you want to change, but
you take no action again, thatenergy stalls. If you speak
about a dream but never startit, the universe cannot support
you because you are saying, I'mnot ready. It's through the
actions, even tiny baby babysteps. It's through those
actions that we tell theuniverse, I'm ready. Come and

(47:42):
meet me. Bring me morecooperative components. Bring me
more ingredients I need for thisthing that I'm showing you that
I'm ready for, right? I oftenthink about it. I thought about
it with acting, and I thoughtabout it with mediumship and
with my spiritual work, withacting the way I used to think
about it. You've heard meprobably talk about this before,
if you've been here for anylength of time, any length of

(48:04):
time, but it requires for me, inthe age I was and in the types
of rules I would have beengetting to look a very specific
way at all times, because theydon't give you time to prepare
for an audition. It's not likethey say, okay, in a month,
we're going to need you to looklike this and go see this
person. It's like, in two hours, you need to go see this person,
and you better look like this.
So I would be in kind ofconstant action mode of making

(48:27):
sure my physical body was right, making sure my hair was right,
trying to do things to keep myskin clear, trying to do things
to keep my nutrition. So alldoing acting classes, working
with a coach, doing all theseelements. Because I realized
when the opportunity shows up,you have to already be ready.
It's not like an opportunity canpresent itself and then, because

(48:50):
we believe it, because we seethe opportunity, we can suddenly
magically get ready and get allthe components together. That's
not the way it works in reallife, and most of you have some
example for this in your ownlife, whether it's personal life
or finances or career orphysical or whatever area it's
in. I see it in this work today, because it's like if an

(49:13):
opportunity presented itself, there was a time in my
development where, because ofeverything else going on in my
life, I wasn't maybe asdedicated in the rituals that I
need to do, in the practices Ineed to do, in the way I need to
have my energy and everythingkind of dialed in. I wasn't
doing it as diligently, asintentionally, as focused as

(49:36):
maybe I am now. And so even if,you know, there was a time early
on in my work that even ifsomebody said to me, oh, I want
you to do a reading for me, or,oh, I want you to, you know, do
this project or or come on thispodcast, I wouldn't have been
ready because I wouldn't havehad it prepared because I wasn't
quite there yet. So that's sortof what this energy is like.

(49:57):
Don't just speak about it, beabout it. You don't need
perfection. You can aim forconsistency and try to continue
improving a little by little.
And that's enough. You don'thave to be perfect. But are you
getting ready? Are you trying tobe on top of your game in

(50:20):
whatever area it is that theseopportunities are going to come
in, and chances are, in a oneyear, there's going to be
inspiration, creativity,creation and opportunities
across the board. If your lifeis a game board, it's in every
area of your life. I would beexpecting new opportunities and
new things to be presentingthemselves. It's up to us to be

(50:40):
ready and then take action. Butagain, we don't have to be
perfect. We can be like withwellness. Let's just say for me,
I can be doing consistent, smallactions that I will, over time,
improve little by little. Mybone density will improve, my
strength will improve, mystamina. Will improve. Let's

(51:01):
just say so it's not aboutshowing up ready to run the
marathon today, if that's whatyou want to do. It's about that
consistent, small, little bylittle, improvement and
dedication, right? So we reallyneed to be aligned in our vision
and our action, and if we'renot, we need to evaluate like,

(51:23):
do I actually even want thisvision? Is this my? Do I even
want to run a marathon? Do Ieven care about that? And maybe
the answer is yes, actually, Ireally do. And maybe it's No,
actually, I really would like tolearn to kayak or stand a paddle
board instead. And then it'srefocusing and aligning with
that vision and taking actionalong that path. Right?

(51:44):
Hopefully this is making sensethe way I'm explaining it. So if
you say you want change, buttake no action, the universe
can't rise to meet you, andenergy stalls. And I so often
over the years, hear peoplecomplaining about this one that
why I feel stuck or none of thelike the universe isn't helping
me. And it's like, well, whatare let's talk about the action.
Actions and the consistency thatyou're having. Are you

(52:06):
congruent? Are you in alignment,in integrity, with this or not?
If you speak about a dream, butnever start it, the universe
cannot support you. So this, this year, in a one year, the
universe right, the energy, thenumerology, is asking us to
align what we feel, what webelieve, what we envision, and

(52:28):
what we actually do. And again,I'm going to use this I keep
having travel ideas. I know Iwant to travel a little bit this
next year, but the idea I keepthinking of is not I keep
thinking of climbing one ofthose, like famous mountains,
whether it's Kilimanjaro orwhether it's Machu Picchu, or,
you know, those famous hikes andmountains. Is it something that

(52:48):
you just say you want to do oneday in the future? Or are you on
a plan every month of increasingyour steps and your stamina and
doing training so that in fiveyears you're prepared to take
that trip? Right? Okay, like,I've harped on this one enough.
Again, you don't needperfection. Aim for consistency,
continuing improvement. You doneed intentional, grounded,

(53:11):
follow through. And this iswhere intuitive alignment
becomes real world alignment. Sothink about the things you're
saying you want. Is it true?
Like, do you actually want whatyou're saying you want? And if
so, how are you aligning youraction with your desires or with
what your soul is calling youtowards? Okay, hopefully that
makes sense. Let's move on tonumber 10 of our 11 themes of

(53:33):
the numerology predictions for2026 the 10th theme that we can
expect to show up is redefiningrelationships and boundaries for
you, for yourself, it's selffocused. It's this redefining.
It doesn't mean other peoplevanish or have to change their
behavior, but instead, it'sreally cultivating relationships

(53:58):
and boundaries in ways that mayneed to be renegotiated. I'm
just going to be honest withyou, so even though a one year
is self focused, it's not selfcentered. We're working from
inside out, but we're not onlythinking about ourselves. People
don't vanish from our lives, necessarily, but relationships
can shift as we grow. You mayneed to renegotiate things like

(54:22):
boundaries, communicationpatterns, emotional roles that
you agree to play or to notplay, energetic agreements. I
keep thinking about someone Iknow that has a family member in
their life that calls them onlywhen they need something. I
think we all have a few peoplelike that that we know or that
we've known in some part of ourlife, and this family member

(54:44):
calls only when they need them.
They only want to talk abouttheir self and their problems.
They expect people to dropeverything, to focus on them and
their problems. They never wantto ask about my friend. They
never want to understand what'sgoing on in my friend's life,
are they having challenges? Soit's not a two way street at
all. And my friend is reallygetting to this place, and I'm

(55:08):
not surprised. It's happening atthis nine into a one year.
They're getting to this placewhere they're deciding, oh, this
not going to work for meanymore. It's not judging that
person. It's just saying, Oh,this is not the type of
relationship I agree to have, and my boundary is going to be
that I am only going to takecalls from this person when I
have time and energy to givethem counsel on their stuff, and

(55:32):
I'm going to be realistic thatthey're not going to ask about
my stuff at all. So that's howthey're handling it. Now you
may, as part of this energy, beattracting new people who align
with the evolution of who youare and where you're going, you
may start to feel some emotionalor energetic distance from
relationships that are tied toold versions of you. This can be

(55:54):
family. This can be friends.
This can be even relationshipswith habits and. Hobbies and
things like that. So maybe youhave this relationship with
food. Let's just say that youuse it in the evening for
comfort. Maybe I'm talking aboutmyself here. I eat in the
evening for comfort. And that'sthat relationship with food
actually comes from like a 12 to14 year old version of me. And

(56:19):
maybe that's not working for usanymore. That's not working for
us anymore, and I've come in andout of this relationship, but
it's me defining my ownboundaries, what I need in this
relationship. But it doesn'thave to be with a person. That's
my whole point of bringing upthe food thing is, like it could
be with food, it could be yourrelationship with money. It
could be a relationship withtime. It could be a relationship

(56:39):
with how you honor yourself inthe world, right? It could be
your relationship with your soulpath and what you're agreeing to
do, but certainly it could berelationship with any of the
people in our lives, even peoplethat have already crossed over
to the other side, that wekind of feel a certain way about
that we need to heal somethingwith, maybe so redefining

(57:02):
relationships and boundaries forourselves based on what we need
now for who we are wanting tobecome and the life we're
wanting to create. This is,again, in a different way, part
of planting seeds, becausecreating these boundaries in our
relationships now will plantseeds to give us different
spaciousness, differentcommunication patterns,

(57:24):
different relationships, goingforward, right? And setting new
boundaries aren't always easy.
You guys have heard me talkabout a teacher that I love, Ian
levanzant. She has somebeautiful ways about teaching
about boundaries, and she has awhole YouTube video series from
like years ago that you canstill find about her talking

(57:44):
about boundaries, and how whenwe choose a boundary, right?
Maybe, for example, someone usedto show up in our lives. It's a
close relationship with us, andthey call us mean names. Let's
just hypothetically say we mightdecide in this boundary, oh, I
no longer agree for you to callme anything besides my name.

(58:06):
You're not going to call me anybad name, you're not going to
say mean things to me. You'renot going to call me anything
other than my name. But perhapsthis person's been doing that
for all the years of yourrelationship, so this is a new
boundary. Well, they might needsome time to adjust, and you can
gently reaffirm that boundary.
Oh, hey, I know this is new andI'm changing some things, but
actually, really, I prefer youjust refer to me by my name. I

(58:28):
don't like this term XYZ. Thanksso much for remembering. I
really appreciate it. And thenin a few days or weeks, when
they do the same thing again,it's, oh, actually, Hang on one
second. I just want to remindyou this is, you know, I need
you to just call me by my name.
Thanks so much. I know this is anew boundary. It's hard to
remember. I get it. And you getto decide how many chances like

(58:51):
that you're going to give them, probably based on who they are
in relationship to you. If it'sjust a random person that you
have to deal with, maybe youdon't deal with them after too
many times of crossing thatboundary, if they're a very
close family member, maybeyou're giving them much more
runway and much more adjustmentperiod, but you get to show up
and choose what boundaries workfor you and how you are going to

(59:13):
respond to how other people showup. Boundaries aren't
necessarily about rules that wemake for other people.
Boundaries are things that wedecide that work for us and
don't work for us, and how weare going to respond. So in that
example where someone's callingyou out of your name, a
different name than your name,it's the boundary with yourself

(59:33):
would be, oh, if someone callsme a name other than my name, a
bad word, I'm not going to speakto them. I'm going to walk away.
But you want to say, Oh,actually, you know what? I'm
going to have this conversationanother time. Because I don't
know if you remember, but I saidI'm not going to any longer hear
people call me names other thanmy name, so we can just have
this conversation a little bitlater. Thanks. I hope you'll

(59:55):
remember. So it's kind of that.
It's not passive aggressive,it's just an energetic
agreement, right? So you mightneed to, in lots of ways,
redefine your relationships, theemotional roles that you agree
to play within thoserelationships. Maybe you're not
going to allow someone to becodependent with you anymore.
Maybe you're not going to becodependent anymore. Maybe

(01:00:16):
you're going to work on that.
Maybe you're going to work onshowing up as anxiously
attached, maybe that's somethingthat you're working on. So it's
really a deeper way ofunderstanding yourself, but as
it relates to the relationshipsin your lives and the boundaries
that you have in in every areaof your life. So this year is
about creating rationalrelational dynamics that support

(01:00:40):
your individuality and notsuppress it, and even if it's
uncomfortable, it's okay to askfor what you need. It might not
be easy, particularly withcertain relationships in our
lives, but it is okay to ask forwhat you need, and that is part
of one of these other themes ofyou getting to express your
individuality and being yourunique, true, authentic self. So

(01:01:01):
that is all part of this withredefining boundaries and
relationships in our lives. Andagain, I just want you to open
your mind to relationship. Isnot just us with another person.
It is that, but it's so muchmore. It's with our self. It's
with our habits, with ourhobbies, with our work, with
Yeah, largely with ourselves. SoI hope that makes sense. So now

(01:01:22):
we have come to the 11th in the11 themes of the energy of 2026
this one year. And this is wherewe're going to talk about the
shadow side, impatience, ego andscattered starts. Is the 11th
theme for 2026 so every energyhas a shadow for a universal

(01:01:44):
year. One the common challengesinclude things like impatience,
ego driven decisions, right? Notfrom the most aligned place, but
from the most ego or unhealedplace. Of us could be starting
too many things at once and thenfailing to take action on any of
them. It can be over stimulatingour capacity, right? We get to

(01:02:05):
know where our capacity is andhave those boundaries and not
over stimulate so that we'refrozen. It could be things like
feeling isolated, if you allow,we're talking about that theme
of independence, if you takethat theme of independence and
use it in a challenge and like, instead of saying, like, I'm
empowered, it becomes I don'tneed anyone. Well, that's the

(01:02:26):
shadow side. It can show up asfrustration when things don't
move fast enough, or when wedon't get our desired result. It
can show up as victim mentality,or like, Oh, poor me. So let's
talk a little bit more aboutwhat it means the shadow side.
Because I think this is thisterm is often, like, I don't
know, negatively glorified orused in a scary way, any emotion

(01:02:51):
or theme that we have in life, right? Let's just take the theme
or the emotion of like, beinggiving, right? The quality of
being giving, there's a positiveside of the spectrum of being
giving and a challenge side ofthe spectrum of being giving.
Now, what do I mean by that, ifsomeone is expressing their
giving nature, their quality ofbeing generous in a positive

(01:03:13):
way, it probably means that theycreate wonderful relationships
where they get to support peopleand they get to receive support.
Maybe they get to be generouswith their abundance their time,
how they give time to people, and maybe they're also generous
with themself with time. Maybethey also carve out time for

(01:03:33):
themselves in a generous way.
Now, on the challenge side ofthe spectrum of generosity, it's
when someone is giving and thenfeeling resentful about it,
right? I've definitelyexperienced this. Let me know if
you have too it's when someoneis being generous, but then it's
depleting for them. Maybethey're so generous with their
time that they're overextendingthemselves, and they're working,

(01:03:56):
you know, 15 hours a day, andthen they're volunteering
another five hours a day andthey're barely sleeping in those
three or four hours a day thatthey have left. Well, that's a
challenged presentation ofgenerosity, right? That's not
healthy. So I don't love healthyand unhealthy as terms for the
spectrum. It's more like in thepositive and in the challenge,

(01:04:17):
in the light and in the shadow.
So the shadow side is more ofthose kind of ego driven where
it's like generosity for thesake of getting recognition. It
can show up, as I've seen, I'msure you've seen people like
that too, where their generosityis not of pure heart and spirit

(01:04:38):
and something they want to dojust from the fullness of their
heart and their ability. It'slike to get something that's a
shadow presentation ofgenerosity. Another shadow
presentation of generosity is,if do you ever have someone
that, like, is kind of generouswith their time or with their
advice or with something intheir lives, and then they keep,

(01:05:00):
like, a list of it and hold itover you like well, I talked to
you this time and gave you thisand showed up like this, and now
you owe me, right? That is notpure generosity. That is a
shadow aspect of generosity. Soin this one year energy, we
really can see the shadow sideof these themes showing up and

(01:05:22):
really what's the remedy?
Awareness is key. You can workwith this energy consciously by
being grounded, kind of settingone clear priority at a time,
knowing yourself and knowing thereasons why you're doing
something most of or a goodamount of telling if something
is in the light or the shadow islooking at the motivation
underneath, even if it's likededication to wellness. Are you

(01:05:44):
doing it because it feels goodand it's a healthy thing to do
and you're strengthening yourbody and all the positive
attributes, or are you doing itin a way that is punishing
yourself, that is negative, thatis restrictive in. Way that
feels unhealthy or cruel, right?

(01:06:05):
So any of these things thatwe're looking at, individuality
and self reliance, well, it'swonderful if we can shine our
own light, be our quirky selves, put ourselves out there in ways
that feel genuine to us. Saywhat we need, create our own
boundaries, but on the challengeor shadow side of that aspect of

(01:06:26):
that individuation, is thisfeeling of like I'm an island. I
don't need anyone. I always doeverything myself, for myself,
and I can just do it myself, andI don't. No one's here to help
me. I'm all alone. Everyone elsehas people and I don't. That is
a shadow aspect of thatindividuality and self reliance,
right? So it's looking at whatis your motivation underneath,

(01:06:49):
or what is that little quietprogram running in the
background that you have? We allhave this inner self talk. Some
of us may be more than others, but it's what is your motivation
at the bottom of the bottom ofthe bottom of it, what's your
actual motivation? So part ofthis practice can be asking for
support when you need it, pacingyourself, staying connected to

(01:07:11):
your purpose, right? Becausesometimes this shadow side can,
like cloud our purpose, right?
So if your purpose in one areaof your life, let's just say, in
your career, your purpose is tohelp people to have success in
your own life and to help thosethat you lead. Let's just say,
well, sometimes leadership canturn into like hard driver. So

(01:07:34):
on the shadow side of thataspect of like wanting to like
lead and shine your light andput yourself out there, if you
start really negatively drivingeveryone else, and you lead from
a place of recklessness orcruelty or dominance, well,
that's in the shadow. It'swhat's the purpose underneath is

(01:07:55):
to lead everyone and feelinclusive and not to control,
not to restrict, to expand, right? So I hope you can feel
the difference between whensomething's tipping into the
shadow side of it, or the thelight side of it, because this
shadow is going to be justbehind us this whole year, and
it's something that's alwayspart of our experience, but this

(01:08:17):
year, it might feel a little bitmore highlighted. And the truth
is, the shadow isn't there tosabotage you. And I know a lot
of people kind of get in thislike, oh, it's, you know, scary,
or shadow indicates darkness. Itdoesn't. It's just a different
quality of the aspect of ourhuman characteristics that we
only get to experience in thisphysical world. When we're on

(01:08:41):
the other side, we don't havenegative motivations. We don't
do things for attention. It'sdifferent there. So in this
human incarnation is when we canfeel the contrast and this
shadow or challenge side of thespectrum of our human qualities.
Things can be the best of us, orthey can be the ugly of us,
ugliest of us, right? So theshadow side of the emotions

(01:09:04):
isn't here to sabotage us. It'shere to help us refine and grow
more fully into ourselves andour next chapter. We don't need
to know the whole plan. We don'tneed to
have it all figured out. Wedon't need to be fearless. We
can feel uncomfortable andfearful. We don't need to get it

(01:09:27):
right. We only need to getstarted. So just know that it's
okay to keep checking in withthis shadow aspect. Am I tipping
into the negative? Am I lookingat this through a negative lens?
Am I showing up with resentment,am I? It really is all through
the emotions. It's beingattentive to ourselves.

(01:09:48):
Remember, we were talking aboutthe self focus this year as one
of the themes that's the selffocus I'm talking about is
getting more clear on our ownmotivation, our own true
intentions, our own emotionsunderneath. Because this shadow
side can be sneaky as hell. Youguys. I have even done it myself

(01:10:08):
many times where I'm slippinginto, I mean, maybe it's been
years ago that I was more likethis, but where I'm slipping
into more of a victim mentalityor a martyrdom, or where it's
like, no, I chose all of this, and I could choose to do it a
different way, if I want So justbeing aware. And the other thing
is the shadow side can show upin other people around us. So

(01:10:29):
you might be keeping yourproverbial side of the emotional
street clean by checking in onyour emotions really looking at
those harder emotionsunderneath. What are the
challenged emotions that you'refeeling? What is this bringing
up for you, right? But itdoesn't mean everyone else is
going to be doing this work. Soit's okay to also recognize
within yourself, okay? I seethis person's ego is very

(01:10:51):
activated right now, and theyare really needing this
affirmation from outside ofthemselves, and I see that
that's happening. You don't haveto judge it, right? Because.
That puts us in the shadow sideof our own receiving or
acknowledgement. If we'restepping into judgment, we can
keep it neutral, and we can justnotice, because this will be

(01:11:12):
happening outside of us as well.
So what this might mean for uscollectively is that powerful
figures might be reallyexplosive in this shadow aspect
of leadership, of power, ofpower over, control over, but
again, we are stripping away oldpatterns and old systems and old

(01:11:33):
programs, so there's a strongchance that those shadow ways
will present themselves so thatmore people can recognize so
that we can say, like, Okay, wedon't agree to this, and we're
going to collectively want to dothis a new way for this next
cycle. So it's a year of change, but not in a negative way. And
change is, while we don't alwayslike it, it often is for our

(01:11:56):
growth, and we can use anychange or difficult situation to
help move us forward in a betterway, we just need to start
small, start softly. Start withintention and trust that your
soul, your intuition and theuniverse are weaving something
new for you to experience andfor you to grow through. So as

(01:12:20):
we wrap up today's episode withthese 11 themes, I hope you can
feel the possibility woventhrough this universal one year,
new beginnings don't always haveto come through like hard knocks
or trauma or heavy lessons. Theycan also arrive through
curiosity and play and newexperiences and humor and that

(01:12:40):
beautiful beginner's mindset andspirit that we sometimes forget,
that we are allowed to have. Wecan have that childlike
excitement and curiosity and2026 is an invitation to a fresh
start, to take brave steps, havecourage and rediscover your own
originality and to explore lifewith an open heart. Maybe that's

(01:13:05):
something you're going to focuson this year. You get to choose
how much you walk into this newcycle and how much you resist
the changes and the newopportunities. You can approach
your goals with a lighter touch.
You can bring joy and happinessto the process. You can let
yourself feel both wise andbrand new all at the same time,

(01:13:29):
because we can hold more thanone energy and emotion, and
whether you're planting seedsfor the future, intentionally
redefining relationships ortaking your very first step
towards a long held dream.
Remember that you're notrequired to know the entire
path. You're only asked to beginwith intention and continue with
consistency. Let yourself laughmore. Let yourself be surprised.

(01:13:53):
Please. Let yourself try thingsnew, or try things that you've
done for years in a new andnewly inspired way, let yourself
feel the excitement of thisthreshold of new possibilities.
The Universe, again, isn'tlooking for perfection here,
it's simply inviting you toparticipate in your own becoming

(01:14:14):
it's going to happen either way,and you're participating either
way, so why not be an activeingredient? If this episode
spoke to you, I hope that youwill share it with a soul friend
who might be stepping into theirown new beginning. We all are,
and as always, I'm cheering youon from over here and holding
space for every part of yourjourney. I'm so grateful for you

(01:14:37):
being here with me on our thirdanniversary of the pod, and for
being here with me throughoutthese years, and your growth and
my growth, because we are acommunity together and you mean
more to me than you probablyknow, I definitely send healing
and love and a big bundle ofpositive wishes and energy for

(01:14:58):
the entire pod squad, even if Idon't know you and you've never
messaged me or never liked orcommented, you are still in this
energetic container, and I'mstill sending my best wishes for
love and light to you. So untilnext time, keep trusting your
intuition, keep choosing whatfeels aligned, and keep showing
up for the magic that wants tounfold in your life. Let's live

(01:15:20):
these 11 themes of this one yearlike our heart is really in it,
and let's do it together. Bighug. Lots of love. Bye for now
until next time inside spiritspeakeasy. You.
