Speak Easy. Hey, beautiful soul.
Welcome in for another episodeof spirit speakeasy. In today's
(00:47):
episode, we are gonna coversigns from spirit I'm gonna
share real stories to help youspot the signs you've been
missing. Have you ever wonderedif that feather on the ground,
that dime that you saw, thatperfectly timed song in the
grocery store, or that strange, too coincidental experience,
(01:08):
encounter with an animal of somekind might actually be a sign
from a loved one in the spiritworld. In this episode, I'm
sharing real stories, sometouching, some funny, some
celebrity and some that mightjust give you chills about how
spirit communicates througheveryday life. We'll be
exploring the subtle signs thatyou might be missing, the timing
(01:31):
and emotional pull behind signsfrom the spirit world, and how
to tell when it's really them.
So whether you've received signsbefore or you're still not sure
what you're looking for, thisepisode will help you recognize
the Language of Spirit when itshows up for you. You may even
discover that you've beenreceiving these helpful hellos
(01:54):
and validations all along fromthe spirit world, and just
hadn't connected the dots torealize it. And of course, I
always love if you share yourspirit stories or experiences in
the comments or send them to mefirst as we dive in. I want to
quickly touch on this idea ofcommon versus unusual signs from
the spirit world. While somesigns might be shared or common
(02:17):
amongst many people, no hellofrom the spirit world is quote,
unquote common. These arespecial, soul to soul, mystical
experiences of connection madepossible by the love that we
still share with our spiritpeople. And while one of the
most common and challengingthings about sharing signs is
(02:40):
that it's not just about seeingor receiving the sign itself,
but it also comes with thingslike sometimes a tingle,
sometimes a physical sensationor an emotion, sometimes a laugh
or a little bit of a shock inthe way the thing comes in, it
can be hard to convey to otherPeople exactly why the sign was
(03:01):
so powerful for you some of thetime, and sometimes a pause just
to notice. Sometimes that personmight just pop into your mind at
the exact moment. Sometimes youmight see a physical object that
reminds you of them. None of itis ordinary. Signs are part of a
larger mystical soul to soulconnection, which is also part
(03:24):
of why it might be sochallenging to tell someone else
a story about a sign that youhave received. It might seem
like the words just don't quiteconvey the feelings or emotions
of the actual experience. Thispart is typical. There are
unique mystical experiencesbetween you and the soul of your
(03:44):
loved ones that happen, and wecall them signs, and we don't
always give these signs in theworld the respect or credence
that they deserve. We oftendismiss them, and some people
even make fun of them, or think,Oh, that's not real, that's just
wishful thinking. And what mightseem to someone else like a
(04:05):
simple bumper sticker on a carwindow or a song that just
happens to come on while you'reshopping, it's actually so much
more, and here's why, while itmight seem like random chance
when you receive a sign at firstglance, or maybe just a
hummingbird that's uncomfortablyclose, for example, part of
(04:27):
what's really happening behindthe scenes is that your loved
one has to know who they areright. They have to know who
they are as a soul, who thepersonality is that they are,
and they have to know also whoyou are, right? They have to
know where you're going to be inthe world at any given moment to
(04:47):
get a sign across to you. Theyhave to know that this item,
this song, this name, whateverthey put across your path, they
have to know what it is, andthey have to know that this will
help you. Connect the dots tothem, plus they have to try to
get you to look in the directionof the sign and notice it.
(05:09):
They're doing a lot of work toget these signs through to you.
And again, it's through the lovethat we share that these really
special, mystical soul to soulexperiences are able to happen
for us. So a lot is going on.
There's an intelligence in thespirit world. There's an
intelligence to our soul andtherefore, to the souls of your
(05:30):
loved ones. So it's not just asimple coincidence or a simple
sign. There is so much going onbehind the scenes for them to
make these signs happen for you.
And in today's episode, I'mgoing to be sharing a lot of
signs. Initially I was going todo 10 celebrity signs, but
actually it's going to work outto be more than 10. So I'll give
(05:51):
some celebrity signs. I'll givesome real life clients stories,
of course, with names and smalldetails changed for the
anonymity of my clients, andthen a couple of other publicly
shared stories, so you canreally start seeing how these
signs might be showing up inyour real life, because I don't
want you guys missing thesemystical connections with your
(06:14):
loved ones anymore. So thisfirst two, actually stories of
signs come from the author, teacher, mystic. His name is
Kyle gray. If you've never heardof him. He's a pretty incredible
soul himself. And he lost hismom. His mom's crossed over to
the spirit world. And he sharedtwo stories publicly that
(06:37):
really, for me, hit it home. Thefirst story has to do with him
trying to figure out thispassword on one of his mom's
devices after her passing, andhe couldn't figure out what it
was, and he wasn't sure what itwas, and then all of the sudden,
seemingly like out of the blue,a friend turns up at his place
and brings him a package ofsausages. I know this sounds
(07:01):
crazy, and as this friend'sgiving him these sausages, he's
saying, you know, I just keepthinking of this story that your
mom once told me that when youwere a little boy, you would
only eat these sausages. Theywere called wee Willie sausages.
And the friend said, I keptthinking about you, but I don't
know why I'm bringing you thesesausages. I know this is really
weird, but yeah, I kept thinkingabout that story, and so I was
(07:23):
bringing these to you, and itsuddenly clicked for him, and he
realized, oh my gosh, sausagesis the password, and it was and
he shares another story of asign or a mystical hello from
his mom as one time he returnedfrom a trip, and all of a sudden
he'd been missing his mom andthinking about her, and all of a
sudden a car pulled out. Carpulled out right in front of
(07:44):
him, and the way he says it is,the license plate said Diane,
and that was his mom's name. Soright at that exact moment, that
car in front of him with themom's license plate on. So I
really love those two stories.
Another amazing story that Ilove is actually from Oprah
Winfrey herself dimes fromspirit story. So you know, even
Oprah has talked about receivingsigns from beyond, and she
(08:06):
shared a quiet but deeplypersonal story about how dimes
began showing up in her life theway she explained it is always
at the most curious andmeaningful moments, not
quarters, not pennies, alwaysdimes. And she recounted that it
started happening after thepassing of someone close to her,
and the first time she was doingsome completely ordinary like
(08:29):
folding laundry, a type task.
And the way she recalls it isthat when she opened the washing
machine, they're balanced likeperfectly and impossibly. On the
rim of the metal inside was asingle, shiny dime. And the way
she explains it is, she staredat it for a moment, kind of
(08:50):
frozen. And right before sheopened the washer, she had been
kind of thinking as like awhisper in her heart, I wish I
could feel my grandma near justsomething, anything. And then
there it was a dime, notsomething that would naturally
end up in that spot, notsomething she had any memory of
putting there. Who would putthat there? And it didn't stop
(09:13):
there, the way she recounts thestory, dimes started appearing
in random places, tucked betweencouch cushions when she was
thinking of her grandma restingalone on a windowsill, just as
she was questioning whether shewas like on the right path,
about a big choice she wasmaking, even she would find them
slipped into like a coat pocketthat she hadn't worn for months,
(09:35):
just in time to bring a wave ofpeace for her during a
challenging day or a challengingmoment. Now, here's the thing to
anyone else, these might havelooked like nothing coincidence,
just pocket change. But toOprah, these moments carried a
hum, a shiver. She describes itas almost a soft whisper from
(09:56):
the spirit world, like her lovedones were saying, I see you. I'm
still. There. I love you. Andshe later said, it's not just
the dime itself, it's thetiming, it's the knowing, and
it's the feeling that floodsthrough your body when it
happens, even if it's very, very, very subtle. I think so
(10:16):
many of us can relate to that, that it's it's so personal, and
it's such a quick, fleetingmoment that we could easily
dismiss it if we weren'tavailable for it, because signs
aren't usually loud often, they're just subtle nudges,
quiet acknowledgements. Theyarrive with a wave of warmth or
(10:38):
like a breath catching stillnessthat makes us pause, even just
for a split second and think ofthem right? It's not about the
dime, it's about the messagebehind it. You're not alone.
You're being supported. Anotherstory that I really love
actually comes from Oprah daily, and of course, I'll cite all
(10:58):
these sources in the show notes.
If you guys want to go for theoriginal resources, they'll be
there for you. This story Ireally loved because it's so
beautifully captures theemotional like texture and depth
of receiving a sign, not justseeing something, but feeling
it, knowing it, a deep innerknowing. And this particular
story is shared by a contributornamed Rebecca Goomer, and it
(11:22):
centers around a moment of griefand a name. So Rebecca's infant
son, named Cooper, only livedsix and a half weeks on this
earth. He was born in the early80s, and he had a congenital
heart defect, and even though heunderwent surgery when he was
only four days old, there wereadditional fatal complications
(11:44):
that went undetectable backthen, because obviously in the
early 80s, medical technologywas a little bit different. And
tragically, one cold winternight he the way she says it has
died suddenly in my arms, quietly slipping out of this
world, leaving, of course, thefamily shattered by grief and
just broken hearted. And the waythe story goes is, for 42 years,
(12:09):
Rebecca and her family keptCooper's photograph on their
mantle. They would speak hisname on birthdays, but then
gradually, over the years, itsort of fell silent, kind of in
solemn sorrow, and they didn'tspeak about him as much. And
then, in the spring of 2021during the isolation of covid,
(12:30):
when we were all locked away forthe pandemic, Rebecca
courageously posted this reallyheartfelt invitation on social
media, encouraging others toshare the names, to speak the
names of their lost loved ones.
And it's a really incrediblestory, as she read each name
(12:50):
aloud with love and with powerbehind them, more and more
community support just pouredin. And it may seem like a small
act, but if you've ever lostsomeone who's deeply dear to
you, you know how saying theirname, like really saying and
feeling their name can bring upjust a tidal wave of emotions.
(13:12):
There's a reverence, asacredness in it, a truth in it,
a connection that still reachesacross all time and space and
dimension, right? And thatafternoon, after having this
beautiful experience withsharing not only her story, but
speaking these names of allthese other community members
(13:33):
lost loved ones, she just had amoment where she walked out to
her window and happened toglance outside at the sky and
there circling above her yard.
She said it was unusual. It wasinsistent and had still utter
focus. There was what's called aCooper's Hawk. It's special kind
of Hawk, and she recounts thatit stayed circling and watching
(13:57):
for almost an hour right abovetheir little house, their yard,
and she said it felt like as ifit was keeping vigil and bearing
witness to this beautiful act ofremembrance that she was
creating with this onlinecommunity in this really
challenging time. And in heressay, Rebecca described it as
not just a hawk, but as asymbol, a sacred mirror of the
(14:20):
energy she had just releasedinto the universe, a soul
responding to the call of itsname, and whether or not anyone
else believed it. She knew, deepin her bones, she knew it was
connection. She knew this Hawkwasn't random, and it was a sign
from her baby boy, becausethings aren't always something
(14:41):
you can explain in words. Rightsigns are so personal that
sometimes we have to just senseit, and we can't really explain
this sensing to someone elsewith mere words always. But you
know, inside of yourself, whenthey're. Real the way she gives
it is you feel it in your chest.
(15:04):
You stop breathing for a moment, and everything in the world goes
quiet for a split second, andyou whisper to yourself, that
was them. That Hawk didn'tspeak. Obviously. It didn't drop
a feather. Didn't leave a note.
It didn't write anything acrossthe sky, and it pixie dust or
anything. But it stayed. Itcircled. It showed up in the
exact moment her love reachedout and it answered. What a
(15:27):
beautiful sign to show up forRebecca Guier in this story, the
next story I have is from LilyReinhardt. She's an actress, and
in this story that appeared inPeople Magazine in February
2020, she and she's alsorepeated it publicly since then,
she describes and shares thatafter the passing of her
(15:50):
Riverdale co star Luke Perry, who passed away in March of 2019
some of us know him from otherother shows in the 90s, she
experienced this vivid dreamwith him, and the way she
recounts it is, I had a dreamlast night, and I saw Luke, and
I hugged him so hard, and Icried into his shoulder, telling
him how much we all miss him.
(16:13):
And she said, I think it was hisspirit visiting me in my sleep,
letting me know that he'ssmiling brightly from the other
side. And you know, forcelebrities to be sharing these
types of stories in mainstreampublications like People
magazine, I just think it'sreally incredible. And I'm going
to give you a few clientstories, and then we're going to
(16:33):
really go through severalcelebrity stories. And not that
these celebrity stories are anymore powerful, but it really
just goes to show that these areexperiences that we all have,
even if they feel taboo to talkabout, even if we don't always
share them at the water cooler,at the office, right? This is a
common thread, and so I'mhoping, again, that by sharing
(16:56):
all of this with you, it mightilluminate where you're missing
signs in your own life. Thisfirst client story, let's call
her Sarah. She came to me afterthe loss of her younger brother.
He had passed away, as it cameout in the reading, he had
passed away in a car accident, quite unexpectedly and
tragically, and she felt likethere was this unfinished
(17:18):
conversation with them. She hadso much guilt and was just
longing to connect with him. Andshe said in her heart, she just
kept having this nagging feelingthat she needed to know if he
was okay, and she needed to knowif he truly was still with her.
And at the end of her session, after her brother had really
(17:39):
shared and helped me express hispersonality. He was very like
witty and mischievous, and inthe very last moments of the
conversation, he kept helping meunderstand this mental image of
what I perceived to be himholding up a penny and like
laughing, like as if he wasteasing her. There was a joke
(18:01):
here, but, like, it was amischievous kind of little
brother type of a laugh. And Igave it to her. I was it was so
quick and small that I almostdidn't but I decided to trust
it, and I told her what I wasexperiencing. And I asked her if
this is something she couldunderstand. And she just burst
(18:21):
into tears, and she said, it'scrazy. I just cleaned out my car
last week, and I found a singlepenny on the dashboard at the
end of it. And she said I eventook a photo of it. She showed
me I even took a photo of itbecause I thought it was so
weird that there was this pennyjust randomly on my dashboard
after I was cleaning my car, andshe said she was kind of
(18:43):
connecting the dots, because shehad been asking if he could give
her a sign, and she said she'dbeen wondering like, was that
it, or was that just a weirdcoincidence? It didn't make any
sense to her, but it was sostrange that she even took a
photo of it so she knew exactlywhat he was talking about. And
the second client story, anotherclient, let's call her Janine,
(19:04):
came to me right before someholidays, like the holiday
season, and her mom had passedaway just a few months before
the holidays, and this was goingto be their first holiday season
without mom in the family, physically and the way she
told it to me after the sessionwas that her mom really loved
(19:26):
gardenias, and every year shewould buy these fresh blooms of
gardenias and bring them to theholidays so that a certain area
of the of the House would alwayssmell like gardenias for the
holidays. And her mom's passingcame very strong during the
session, and she really wantedto describe and share how quick
(19:50):
her passing had been and thatthey didn't really feel like
they got even though her mom hadbeen on well for a little while,
they didn't feel like they gotthose final conversations that
they. I really wanted, and soshe wasn't sure how her mom
would be showing up around her,but she really, you know, in her
heart, when she was coming infor the session, really wanted
to know, you know, was her momaround her. And as part of the
(20:13):
communication, I had asked her,do you you sometimes get this,
like waft from out of nowhere,of like a very floral either,
like a gardenia, a tuberose. Andshe was like, Oh my gosh, I just
smelled it in my kitchen lastweek, out of nowhere. And she
was saying, there's no candles,no flowers, no like scented
cleaners. And just like I haddescribed it, she said it was
(20:36):
just for like, a fleeting, quicksecond, but it was, it was
enough, strong enough, to gether like, to stop and pay
attention. Stopped her in hertracks, is the way she said it,
and she's like, I thought I wasjust imagining it. But that's
the thing about signs, whetherthey're sensory, like a scent or
a taste or the memory of a tasteor a smell, they're usually
(20:59):
fleeting, but they kind ofstrike us right in our energetic
heart, right? They make theworld go still, if only for a
half a breath, just so quick.
And of course, her mom's messageand the essence of this
communication was, I'm stillshowing up. I'm still here for
the holidays. I'm still homewith you. I still love you, and
(21:19):
I know everything that's goingon. The third client story that
I want to share is one of myfavorite science stories. It
came from a client I'm going tocall her Maria, and she came in
because she had lost herhusband, is what we uncovered
through the session, and he hadpassed a couple years before her
(21:40):
session, and she after thesession, you know, his
personality came through quitewell. He's a very good
communicator, and she describedhim as a lovable pain in the
butt. So during the session, hewas communicating, and his his
little bit of like a gruff butloving, but humorous
(22:00):
personality. And there was amoment in the session where I
couldn't quite understand it. Iwas working with the evidence,
with the details, and I the wayI was experiencing it was like
he's indicating that there's atool of his, like one of his
favorite tools, and you've beenusing it recently, and somehow
you broke it, or broke when youwere holding it in like, a very
(22:20):
strange way. And she startedlaughing, and she said, Okay,
you're not gonna believe this.
And I was like, what happened?
And she said it was his remotecontrol, like for the TV. She
said she hadn't sat in hisspecial spot that he liked to
sit for a long time. And shedecided on this specific day,
(22:41):
you know, to sit there, and shegot out, you know, the remote,
which is his favorite tool. Shewas joking, and she said she
just was barely pushing thebuttons and, like, the whole
thing, kind of like, burst apartbatteries coming out and
everything right in her hand.
And she was like, I wasn't evenpressing it hard. And we both
laughed, and she said like that, definitely would be this man,
(23:05):
her beautiful husband, who wouldrather break the remote than let
her have control of the TV iscut. Was kind of her joke, but
he was just wanting her to knowin these very subtle, sweet ways
that he was still there. He wasstill with her, and it wasn't
just about the remote, it'sabout the timing, the
(23:25):
personality, the delivery. Itwas so him. I learned through
this communication and throughsharing time with her, playful,
slightly annoying, totallyunmistakable, and this little
bit of like sarcastic, playfulsense of humor with him about
his favorite tool, which Ithought was hilarious, spirit
(23:46):
doesn't lose their sense ofhumor on the other side, if
anything, it often becomes apart of how they reach us,
because they know what will getour attention. It's part of that
intelligence I was talkingabout. Not only do they have to
know who you are and who theyare, but they have to know how
to get your attention. They knowwhat will make us laugh and what
helps us know that it's themokay. This fourth story that I
(24:08):
want to share is actually from afriend of mine that I worked
with. I'll call them Alex, andthey had recently lost their
parent and before their fatherpassed away, in those quiet,
precious moments in the finaldays, they had said and had this
heartfelt conversation withtheir dad, and Alex had asked,
(24:30):
like, if you can, will you sendme a sign to let me know that
you're okay on the other side?
And the dad paused for a minute, you know, even in those final
days of his life and and said,Sure, I'll send you a bird. I
don't know what. I'll figure itout. They had told me this story
after the reading. So in theweeks that followed, Alex
(24:50):
started noticing that this onebird kept showing up, perched
right on the deck, right on therailing outside the kitchen
window. Kind of loud, a little.
Little obnoxious, sometimes justsitting there, squawking, like
for no apparent reason. But Alexwasn't sure. Wasn't sure if this
was the side, if this was thebird. And then one morning, as
(25:11):
Alex was driving to check ontheir mom, who still lived in
the family home, it was kind ofon top of this hill in this
suburban town, not really rural, not in the city, but like
Suburban. It had been like areally emotional week, and they
were feeling very worn down. Andas Alex, like, rounded the bend
of this road, they had beenthinking quietly, like, Dad, I
(25:35):
really need to know that you'rehere, if that was you with the
bird. Like, I need something alittle bit bigger. I really need
to know, because they werereally struggling. And just a
couple of minutes later, asthey, like, got towards the
house, they had to slam on theirbrakes because a massive flock
of wild turkeys had flooded intothe road, completely blocking
(26:00):
the street like gobbling andflapping and strutting in all
the directions, like I've heardof cats, almost, but wild
turkeys a crazy thing. It was soabsurd that my friend Alex just
sat there frozen, and then, ofcourse, laughed and cried and
laughed again. And in theconversation we had after the
reading, Alex said, like, itfelt like his dad was saying,
(26:22):
like, Oh, you want a bird. Like,here's a here's a bird. Like,
ignore this. And the best partthat kind of playful grand
gesture was, like, exactly howtheir dad showed up in life,
loud, clear, but with a wink anda smile. Sometimes Spirit gives
us just the whisper, andsometimes they send in the
turkeys, right? So signs cancome in all kinds of ways. I'm
(26:47):
going to go through severalstories of people you've
probably heard of receivingsigns and messages from loved
ones. On the other side, hereare our celebrity spirit
stories. Number one is CS Lewis, who is an author, and the story
comes from their work from 1961A Grief Observed so after the
(27:07):
death of his wife, joy, DavidsonCS Lewis wrote in this Grief
Observed about moments that hecould feel her presence so
vividly it was almost physical.
He recalls feeling her voicelike feeling her voice, think
about that, guiding his thoughtsand quiet contemplative moments,
offering comfort even duringdeep grief. These weren't mere
(27:28):
memories. They were experiencesthat he interpreted as a direct
connection with his wife frombeyond the grave. The next
celebrity sign example I have isour very own, Sheryl Crow, the
musician which you may know. SoSheryl Crow has shared that
after the passing of her father, she sometimes has experienced
(27:50):
sudden emotional nudges or heardlike a song that seemed out of
place. These moments sheattributes as a connection with
him, and she explains it evenfurther that before major
performances or important eventsthat she recalls feeling what
she describes as a tap on theshoulder in spirit, reassuring
(28:13):
her that she wasn't alone, giving her courage to step into
the moment, knowing her Dad wasby her side, and one of the
places she shared this is inParade magazine interview from
2019 Sheryl Crow on Lost Loveand music. This third example, I
think everyone has heard ofincredible superstar, Tina
Turner. And Tina Turner haddescribed receiving signs from
(28:37):
her late mother, particularlyduring moments of uncertainty,
she recalls that subtleexperiences like a familiar
scent, a song at the perfecttime, or even an unexpected wave
of peace that she interpreted asguidance, and these moments have
offered her clarity, reassuranceand helped her navigate her
(28:58):
career and her personaldecisions, and she shares part
of this in her story called Mylove story from 2018
that is Tina Turner, a fourthexample I have from you, for you
of celebrity signs is Mr. JimCarrey, actor, comedian
extraordinaire, Jim Carrey hasspoken about his feelings and
(29:22):
his experiences with his latefather's presence during moments
of doubt or anxiety. He hasrecounted how inspiration would
sometimes like strike himimmediately after thinking about
his father, almost like he'dthink of him, then all of a
sudden, he'd have thisinspiration kind of rush in,
almost like gentle nudges andguidances from beyond these
(29:46):
experiences he recounts, helphim make important personal and
professional decisions and offerhim direction and comfort. And
he talks about this on the BBCin The Graham Norton Show 2020,
with. Variety of interviews aswell. Our fifth celebrity sign
example is Angelina Jolie, whoyou might know is also an actor.
(30:10):
Angelina Jolie has describednoticing subtle signs from her
late mother in everyday life.
She has recalled in interviewsmoments when a specific song
would play, or an image wouldappear just at the right time,
even an intuitive feeling thatwould guide a decision about a
family issue or a film project.
(30:31):
And she stated that sheinterprets these occurrences as
her mother, quote, unquote.
Checking in is the way she says.
It a comforting form ofcommunication from beyond the
veil, and she talks about thisspecifically in her interview
with Vanity Fair from 2016titled Angelina Jolie on her
mother and loss, our sixthcelebrity sign story comes from
(30:55):
Lady Gaga herself. Lady Gaga hasshared experiences of feeling
her late aunt's presence, especially before she says major
performances, or when making keycreative decisions, she
describes sudden bursts ofinspiration, emotional shifts or
a sense of reassurance that sheinterprets as her aunt providing
(31:18):
guidance from the other side.
And she has stated that thesesigns help her feel connected
and supported. She talked aboutthis in her interview with Elle
magazine in 2018 our seventhcelebrity sign story comes from
none other than musicianworldwide, talent
extraordinaire, Michael Jackson, close associates of Michael
(31:41):
Jackson reported that he wouldoften sense his mother,
Katherine Jackson's presenceduring his recording sessions.
Actually, he would sometimesspeak of hearing guidance or
advice from her in his mind, andparticularly in creative
moments, which he interpreted, apparently, as her continuing to
influence him from beyond thephysical world. There's a story
(32:03):
called Michael Jackson, themagic, the madness, and the
whole story from 2009 in whichRandy Tara Borelli talks about
this experience. And thisrecounting from Michael Jackson,
one of my favorites is ournumber eight celebrity story of
signs and feeling the presenceof the Spirit World. Beloved
(32:24):
actor, comedian, wonderful soul.
Robin Williams, friends andfamily recalled in the HBO 2018
documentary titled Robin friendsand family recalled that Robin
Williams occasionally spokeabout sensing his father's
(32:45):
presence, particularly beforemaking important decisions. He
described feeling a subtleenergy or a nudge that seemed to
guide him in the rightdirection, experiences he
interpreted as communicationsand reassurances from his late
father, another of my favorites, and probably yours too, number
(33:06):
nine on our 10 celebrity signslist comes from Jason Momoa.
Jason Momoa has openly spokenabout feeling signs from his
deceased loved ones andancestors, especially his
father. He describesexperiencing vivid dreams or
sudden gut feelings in keymoments in life, which he
(33:26):
interprets as direct messagesand guidance from those have
passed on. His views of theseexperiences are that they are
comforting connection thatreminds him that he is supported
by his dad and his ancestors, even after loss. And he really
dives into this in the 2021,Men's Health Interview titled
(33:49):
Jason Momoa on family loss andspiritual connection. I'm not
making these up. Isn't thiscrazy that all of us experience
these things? Okay, number 10,rounding out our celebrity
accounts of signs and mysticalexperiences is Dolly Parton, the
incredible, beautiful soul andmusician. Dolly Parton has
(34:11):
shared that she occasionallysenses each of her deceased
parents, her mom and her dadduring quiet, reflective
moments. She recalls times whena warm presence has filled the
room, or she receives anemotional nudge that reminds her
of the lessons of love andguidance from her parents, and
she interprets these as subtle, ongoing signs of care and
(34:34):
connection. And she shares aboutthis in her 2019 PBS special
Dolly Parton song teller. Sothere are so many more than just
10 celebrity sightings or signexamples, and I even gave more
than 10 in this episode, butit's just to show that so many
people feel and experience thesemystical moments of signs, and
(34:57):
not everyone shares thempublicly. I. Lot of times we
reserve these signed experiencesfor our private moments,
thinking like, oh my gosh, Idon't want someone to think I'm
weird, or this is not going tomake any sense to someone,
because, like I said, it's notjust the sign itself. It's the
timing, it's the specificity.
It's often that person droppinginto our mind in that moment, or
(35:18):
sometimes we might get a subtlephysical sensation, or even the
feeling of pause, of like, Oh,what's that? Right? So there's
so many ways it can come in, buthopefully this has opened your
mind and heart a bit. So if youhave ever wondered, was that a
sign, actually? Maybe it was thepenny, maybe it was a scent of
flowers, or the remembrance of ataste of a specific recipe of
(35:43):
one of your loved ones. Maybeit's a broken remote control or
a flock of wild turkeys thatbrought you to a laughing,
tearful standstill. Maybe youexperienced something very
subtle, or maybe you gotsomething that was very loud as
a sign, but it made you pauseand feel something and that
(36:03):
something, whatever it was thatyou felt that matters, because
here's what I want you to takeaway from all of this, really,
signs aren't always tidy.
They're not always what weexpect or in the ways that we
expect. They don't come withtrumpets or flashing lights most
of the time, but they do comewith love and subtlety and
(36:27):
intention, intelligence,specificity, with precision,
with personality, with divinetiming that sometimes makes the
hair on our arms or the back ofour next stand up and gives us
chills. And behind every sign, yes, even the silly and
imperfect ones, is a soul whoremembers you, who loves you,
(36:51):
and is showing up to share andsupport the energy that you have
going on in the world, apresence that's reaching through
the veil, not just to say I'mstill here, but also to say, I
know you, I see you, I love you,I'm with you. And the truth is,
you have to earn these signs.
You don't have to be perfectlyspiritual or say the right words
(37:14):
or even be at any specificjuncture of your life, you just
have to be open, receptive, willing to pause long enough,
even just to wonder, was thatreally them? What if it was?
Because so often it actually istheir soul with you right in
(37:35):
that moment. So here's yourinvitation. Next time something
strange or beautiful or almosttoo coincidental crosses your
path and your heart lights up,even just for a split second.
Don't dismiss it. Let it in. Sayhello and silently ask them is
that you don't let that momentpass you by. Just send your love
(37:59):
back to them and watch theconnection continue to unfold.
Let it in trust what rises up inyour body before your brain has
time to come in and place thatdoubt in your way, right?
Because you're already in theconversation with your loved
ones. They feel your love, andlove always finds a way to speak
(38:20):
and to connect, even across theveil, even from the spirit world
beyond. And if you're not surewhat signs your loved ones are
sending you, I still have thatfree sign mini course available

your heart even further so youcan continue to build on those
signs and that connection. It'stotally free, so don't miss out
on that mini course sign magnetright on the homepage. And if
you want to share your personalexperience of a sign with me,
(39:04):
I'm happy to keep it anonymous.

watching this episode, or youcan email it right to me admin
at joyful medium.com becausewe're all in this together. And
even though some of us may sharesigns and some of us may doubt
signs, the truth is, our lovedones are always there,
(39:27):
supporting, giving, littlehellos, acknowledgements, nods,
sometimes winks, sentimental, touching and even sometimes
funny, but they're there, andit's up to you if you want to
choose to be open and receptive,or if you want to choose to keep
missing the signs, but I don'twant you to miss them anymore.
So I hope this is helpful foryou, and I'm always grateful for
(39:49):
you spending this time with me.

speakeasy, you. I.
