that really mean? In thisepisode, we are going to look at
what actually is happening whenthe world feels a little more
electric and when the unseenfeels a little bit closer. We'll
explore why this seasonnaturally awakens deeper
awareness, how to stay groundedand discerning when energy feels

drive me crazy, like whetheryour loved ones can only visit
around Halloween or this time ofyear, or if cemeteries really

thinning of the veil. First, letme tell you what I know is true,
the energy in general, and ourpersonal energy does shift in
cycles. And with the seasons,your loved ones are around you
all the time, not just forHalloween or the spooky season
and the veil, quote, unquote, ismore about you moving your

awareness, and not somethingthat's being done to you. So
let's go a little deeper. First,I just want to remind you I did
do an episode about thispreviously, but a totally
different version that is calledthe fitting of the veil, when,
where, why, what and how.
Episode 42 from October of 2023where we explored the origins of

this idea across differentcultures and beliefs and
religions and folklore, shockingsimilarities and differences,
plus we looked at other mysticalevents and quote, unquote, thin
places in the world, includingastrological events, sacred
locations, phenomena where theetheric veil between worlds is
believed to be thinner, so thatis more the historical deep dive

from that perspective, if youwant that also, I will link it
in the show notes. But today weare going to talk about this in
a different way, and it doesdrive me a little crazy
sometimes what I see in popculture and on all of the
platforms the way people talkabout this. So I want to talk a
little bit about why. Somereasons are that it might feel

that the veil is thinner duringthis time. One reason is that
fall or harvest is a type ofdeath, a type of stillness, a
type of passing, a type oftransitional energy, right? But
I want you to think about it andbroaden your mind a little bit,
because while the harvest timeor fall, you know, the the

leaves are falling from thetrees, nature is going a little
quieter, a little more dormant,but this is also a time for
planting seeds. If you are agardener, or I had a Nan that
planted bulbs every year,perennial bulbs. This is the
time when those are planted,those bulbs that will grow in
the spring and will regenerateyear after year. So that is part

of. Why the energy feelsdifferent right now, in most
parts of the world, at least thenorthern hemisphere, there's a
bit of a chill in the air. Thelight is changing. For many of
us in the northern hemisphere,meaning we're getting that
darkness a little earlier in ourday. For me, I even am aware of

the actual sunlight, changingthe tone of the sunlight feels
different to me this time ofyear. Most of you know that I
live in San Diego these days,and it doesn't. I mean, we do
have a crispness at times, butit doesn't typically get cold,
like where I grew up in Boston,until a little bit later. And a

nod to that, for those of youthat are listening, or I guess
if you're watching, I have mywindows open today. I'm
recording from home. Our AC inmy building is being serviced
today, and it's a little warm,like I said, sometimes
California is crispy at thistime of year, but sometimes it's
toasty, and it is a little bitwarm still for us. So I've got

the windows open, so forgive anyambient noise. I'll try to edit
out if it's needed, but justrealizing that, yeah, there's a
quieting that's happening. Whathappens in this season leaves
fall. Light shifts, weathershifts. We get quieter in the
summer. For most of us in thenorthern hemisphere, this is
probably true in the southernhemisphere. Also, it's just the

seasons are reversed. Thingscalm down as far as activities,
especially if you're in a placethat experiences extreme
weather. Thinking about growingup in Boston, it's the
summertime when we're havingclam bakes and beach days and
getting out in the sunlight,right when the weather starts to
shift. What's happening? We'regoing inside. We're not outside

(06:46):
as much the the night time iscoming in earlier, where I grew
up, often as early as like 330or 4pm It's already fairly dark,
or the light is getting dark,for sure. So we're going inside
and quieting down. It's a timefor going within. So you have
more awareness as part of thisquieting of the world. There's

(07:10):
more spaciousness, right? We'renot so drawn or taken into these
outdoor activities and rushingfrom here to there. You might
still be busy in your life, butthis energy around us that's
changing, quieting the energy ofnature, settling that also
brings a different awareness tous. As part of this, another
little thing that I just want totouch on is and we'll do a whole

episode on this soon. But like Iwas saying that it's time for
planting those perennial bulbs,it's time for planting seeds to
cultivate, for manifestation,not at the beginning of a new
year. I mean, of course, youcould do it anytime, but for the
biggest impact, it's starting tothink now in this harvest time,
right? And harvest itself is atype of transition, a type of

death. Think about I used tolove apple picking when I was a
kid, and the cider just tastesdifferent back East. Do you guys
have a favorite Fall time treatreal apple cider is one of mine.
And even picking the fruit offof the tree as we pick it,
that's a death, right? Thefruit's no longer growing. It's
no longer connected to itssource of nourishment. We're

plucking it and, in effect,killing it, right? But it is
part of that transition, andthen the apple becomes food or
nourishment for us in some otherway, right? So our awareness,
even unconsciously,subconsciously, is a little bit
more towards this transition,this feeling in the air around

(08:43):
us, this little bit ofelectricity. So instead of being
scared or nervous about thethinning of the veil, I just
also it's another thing thatdrives me a little nuts. I want
to touch in and remind you, Iknow I've said this here a lot.
There are no bad spirits to bescared of, to be nervous about.

(09:03):
I do think culturally, becauseof scary movies and, quote,
unquote spooky season, we dokind of feel maybe a little more
creeped out this time of year. Ikeep thinking about when I was
young and used to walk home fromschool, and there's times where
it was already getting dark whenI was walking home from school,
and it did feel a little morechills up the back of your neck

(09:25):
of like, Oh, someone might jumpout from around any corner. I've
got to hurry home right so thatis a part of the energy of right
now. But it's not because thereare bad spirits. So I want to,
instead, kind of refocus youonto paying attention to things
coming to light, not about badsouls on the other side, or

(09:45):
things kind of reaching throughthe veil to like get you quote,
unquote, but about the soulsliving in this world. There is
additional awareness that can bepart of this shifting. The
energy. I'm going to talk moreas we go. I'm going to go in
just a minute, I'm going to gothrough some myths, and then I'm
going to tell you how to reallytune in and use this energy to

your benefit. But I just want tohighlight a few things for you,
because I think that sometimes,due to, like, the spooky season
piece of it, we can getdistracted and think, Oh, I'm
feeling for the unseen things,but emotions are unseen as well.
People's behaviors are notalways overt, right? Sometimes
they're covert, sometimesthey're hidden. Sometimes people

are doing things in secret, andwe might just kind of get a
feeling that something's alittle bit off, or that a place
has had some arguing in it, orsome disconnection or tension in
it, right? But I want to makeyou aware that part of this
energy, this being able to seebeyond the veil, see the unseen,

(10:49):
and it's not a physical seeingwith our literal eyes, although
in some ways about what I'mabout to say, it can be, are you
witnessing people's true colorscoming to light a little bit
more. That is one of the bigpotentials right now, and some
of that in this quieting is justobserving people's behaviors,

(11:10):
like with your physical eyes,with your listening ears, right,
just paying a little moreattention to when someone is
saying one thing and doingsomething else, or saying one
thing in certain company andsomething else in different
company. That is somethingthat's really available to us
right now as part of thisquieting down, because, like I

(11:32):
mentioned at the top, our energycan shift in cycles and seasons,
and that is potentiallyhappening for you right now. So
how do you harness it? One ofthe things is being aware for
people's true colors. The otherthing is, as another layer to
this is noticing patterns,patterns of people, patterns of

behaviors, seeing throughpeople's words into their true
motives, right? But in order todo that, sometimes we have to
get quieter. We have to get morestill, and I'm going to talk to
you about how to do that. Itdoesn't all have to do with
meditation. It's something youcould do totally in the waking
state. But if someone is talkingto you, right, let's just say

it's a boss, and you're asthey're talking to you,
formulating your responses inyour mind, right? One, you're
not actually really listening.
And two, you're not gettingstill to observe. You're letting
your mind form all these retortsor replies to what they're
saying instead of letting thatinformation wash over you. Maybe

(12:38):
it's a boss, maybe it's apartner. Maybe it's someone else
in your life. While you'relistening, shift your awareness
to be fully locked in on thatperson. What are they saying?
How are they saying it? What arethe words that they're choosing?
What is their physical affect,demeanor, mannerisms? If you can
observe it, maybe you can. Maybeyou can't, depending on how the

meeting is, like, if it's on thephone, right? But really just
tuning in and listening with allof your senses, how do you feel
about what they're saying? Whereis it landing? In your body does
something that they say, oh,feel like a punch in the gut.
Does something that they say.
Kind of make the hairs on theback of your neck stand up like
wait, we're doing what with thatgroup this season? What's Hold

(13:24):
on? What's happening? Doessomething they say, I always
think of an old friend when Isay it this way. But does
something they say, hang alittle longer in the air. I've
had many conversations in mylife, as have we all, of course,
and there are certainconversations with certain
people in my life that Icouldn't tell you the whole
conversation, but there's justone sentence, one line, one

(13:46):
piece of that conversation thathangs a little longer in the air
that I just remember themsaying, right? And sometimes
it's like I said the words thatthey're choosing to articulate
something that could have beensaid in a lot of ways. Why are
they saying it like that? Andit's not engaging that mental
energy to start raking over itand stewing over it and letting

(14:11):
your mind get crazy with it.
It's just sitting with it. It'sfeeling it in your body, feeling
it in your system, feeling whatit brings up for you, right? Not
thinking. So okay, I've gone offon a little bit of tangent, just
because I this is so important.
So instead of being scared ornervous, just open your
awareness to be more present.

(14:33):
Pay more attention. There are noevil spirits. So it's not like I
said that something's going toreach through the veil and grab
you. It's that's not it, butsomething I do want to
highlight, I hate that this istrue, but it is. The truth is
unlimited. Darkness of humanityis available to us on this side.

(14:56):
Now, some of you like me havebeen feeling in. The current
world, with the current worldevents and the current time
period that we're in, the thingsthat are happening that we are a
little bit in, like upside downworld topsy turvy. Things that
we didn't think we would see inour lifetime are happening.
Things that we thought that wehad made boundaries around and

(15:17):
rules or laws around, areshifting right? We have free
will in this lifetime, whichmeans that we can choose to be
the most horriblerepresentatives of humanity. We
have that within our potential,there are figures in this world
right now that while they're notan evil spirit, they are doing

(15:39):
terrible, horrible you could sayevil things to other human
beings, to humanity, to animals.
So there is an unlimited well ofif you want to call it darkness,
human darkness, that we can stepinto in our behavior. It's not
because we're being possessed.

(16:01):
It's not because an unseen forceis puppeteering us and
manipulating us into it. It'sbecause we have free will, and
on this side, we have access tothat full spectrum of humanity,
that full spectrum of emotions.
On the other side, we wouldnever, we would never deem to
harm someone else. Because we'reconnected truly, and we realize

(16:23):
that connection, and we feelthat connection at all times. I
was going to say 24/7, but timedoesn't work like that over
there. That's a human construct.
But on this side, on the humanside, in these human bodies, in
our Earth school, we have thisillusion of separation. So
because of that, some peopleallow that illusion of

(16:47):
separation to other differentpeople, right? Oh, us and them.
Okay, this group is above andthis group is below. So to this
group below, we're going to dothese awful things or take these
things away, right? That is thatquote, unquote, dark energy
that's all human, that's all ofthis world, that's all part of

(17:07):
this free will agreement, andit's all available to us. So
there is a potential that, aspart of this quieting, you might
start being aware of some prettynasty human behavior. But it's
not evil spirits. So that is myevil spirit diatribe for right
now, and it could even beshowing up in things like I'm

(17:28):
thinking about, like stealingfrom the poor to give to the
rich, or building ballroomswhile we are literally stepping
over our unhoused brothers andsisters and unwell people,
right? So there are lots ofhorrible things that are part of
humanity, but it's not theboogeyman coming to get you from

(17:50):
the Spirit side. It's on thisside, in this world, in human
form, happening all around us,and it's okay to let yourself
notice that. We don't need toignore it or avoid it totally.
To a degree, it's okay to checkin and out of it for your own
mental health and well being,right? But we don't want to

(18:10):
bypass it either. So let me gothrough these myths, and then
that is part of what I want toget to, as far as like, Okay,
well, what do we do with thisenergy? How do we harness this
energy? If it is that we can bemore aware. How do we be more
aware of our intuition? How dowe be more aware of our loved
ones on the other side? Right?
But let me go through thesemyths first, because I think
it'll help position us for whatwe can do when we understand

(18:31):
like, Okay, this nonsense is notreally happening. So some of the
myths that I have come acrosswhen I look at this topic of the
thinning of the veil, is thisidea that it is easier for loved
ones on the other side to reachout to us during this season. I
have some thoughts about thisone. What about those people in

(18:52):
the southern hemisphere? Does itmean that their loved ones can
only reach out during thespringtime, because this is not
autumn for them it's springtime.
No, it doesn't mean that. Doesit mean that our loved ones, you
know, are not around duringother times? No, it doesn't mean
that. So it is not true that ourloved ones can only reach out to

(19:14):
us, or it's easier for them toreach out to us during this
autumn season. It sometimesfeels like that, but it again,
it's because of our awareness,not because of their
availability. It's not like theyonly get vacation from the
spirit world during fall or onHalloween, and then that's when
they can come over here and say,Hello. This is not quite the way

(19:36):
it works. We're gonna talk moreabout it. Another myth that I
hear that kind of goes rightalong with this one is that
October or Halloween, or timeslike dusk, early in the or late
in the evening, you know whenthat light is changing and it's
turning dark or dawn, early inthe morning, kind of right
before the sun rises. Are thesethreshold times, and these are

(19:57):
the times when our loved onesare closest. To us. Okay, while
it might be true that we aremore available during these
times, our awareness might bemore available at like, let's
just say, dusk, when you're orlike, when you're just falling
asleep and tipping into thatsleeping time, or early morning,

(20:18):
when you're just your body'sstarting to stir, but you're not
quite waking up. We as humanbeings might be more available
during this time because wehaven't, like launched into our
phones and busy days and peopleneeding us. So our awareness
might be more available, but ourloved ones are not more
available. They might take theopportunity of that time when
you're a little quieter, to movetheir awareness to you, but

(20:43):
they're there all the time. It'sdoesn't have to do with like
them being restricted. Now Iwant to also point out something
to you, because in fact, forexample, if you are scared of
the dark, let's just say scaredof dusk. This is me when I was
earlier on in this journey, andbefore I really understood my
mediumship, I always joke andsay I would tell all the Spirit

(21:05):
people, all the loved ones,like, hey, nobody better show up
in this mirror when I'm walkingdown this dark hall or I'm not
going to do any of this anymore.
So if you're like me, and therewas a time in your life, or even
if that's right now, that yougot more anxious kind of feeling
like it was more scary as it wasdark, or if you're in a dark
hallway or a dark room and youfeel more scared, actually, it

(21:25):
may be harder for you to allowyourself to sense your loved
ones or the spirit world,because when we're scared, when
we're in fear, our system isclosed down a little bit more,
our Energy is a little tighter,a little bit less available,
right? So it almost can be theopposite. It really depends on
us, our ability to move ourawareness, our ability to become

(21:49):
aware. So in fact, it's not thatour loved ones are more
available during those times,but it really is about when we
are most available, when we canmove our awareness to them, when
we're feeling relaxed and calmand not putting our attention
elsewhere, like in our phones oron our life, right? Okay, so if

(22:09):
you're scared the dark, that'sprobably not the best time to
move your awareness to yourloved ones, and they're not
going to be moving theirawareness to you, probably
because you're just not asavailable. So I hope that makes
sense. Another one of thesemyths that I need to talk about
is this idea that spirit peopleare only allowed to come close

(22:30):
to us at this time of year, butother times that they're more
far away or more unreachable. I,as a medium who works all year
round every month of the year.
Do not find this to be true, andI can tell you that people's
loved ones are showing themsigns and saying hello and

(22:51):
spending time with themregardless of the time of year,
kind of like I was sayingearlier. I'm half joking, but
I'm also being honest that it'snot like they're in this far
away place, and they get theirlike annual leave of absence and
can take a vacation and come sayhello to you during this time of
year only. They are availableand around at all times of year.

(23:14):
And the other piece I just wantto highlight quickly in here is
that the spirit world, the otherside, right beyond the veil is
not a far away place. What thisveil actually is is it's not a
partition, like a physicalseparation, like a like a wall,
right? I keep looking at my wallway on the other side, where my

(23:37):
neighbors live on the otherside. So it's not like a hard,
like physical wall that theylive on the other side, and we
live on this side. It's a veil,as in an energetic difference
between the seen world and theunseen world. The spirit world
is a world within our world. Soit's just right here among us,
all around us, with us, but weare not aware of it, because we

(24:00):
are kind of on this side of theveil in our physical senses and
the non physical they don't havephysical senses because they
don't have physical bodies,right? So they are using their
non physical senses andcommunicating with our not their
non physical senses, oftenthrough our non physical senses,
but it's just an energeticseparation. It's not a physical

(24:26):
separation. So they're not a faraway place, often culturally and
just in kind of common language,we're taught to think about
heaven as being far away or upin the clouds. It's actually
just right here. So they don'tneed to leave from a far away
location where they are tojourney, to come to where you
are. It's not a differentphysical location. It's a

(24:47):
different energetic location. Solet's just make that clear.
Hopefully, that makes sense theway I'm saying it another myth
that I want to quickly dispel isit's easier to connect with LA.
Ones at the cemetery. And I knowa lot of people do these, like
cemetery walks and stuff duringthis time of year, which, hey,
if you're into it and you findit fun and it doesn't freak you

(25:10):
out, do it. But I want to saythat some people might feel like
it's easier to connect or spendtime with loved ones at a
cemetery, because, again, likelywhen you're visiting a cemetery,
you're probably more still, morequiet, less busy of mind, etc.

(25:31):
But your loved ones don't liveat the cemetery, even if that's
where their physical body waslaid to rest. Their soul doesn't
live at the cemetery. They'renot bound to that place. They
have often shown me, actually inreadings that, oh, they go with
you to the cemetery their soul.
They sit with you and spend timewith you there, and then they

(25:52):
leave with you when you leave.
So it's okay if you feel likeyou enjoy connecting with your
loved one at the cemetery or atthe beach or wherever, but
they're not more connected toyou in those specific places. I
really do think it has to domore with the way we feel
connected to them, with ourquieting, our stillness, our

(26:15):
availability.
One last myth, and then we'regoing to move on to what to
focus on. So these experiencesare available to you all year,
but are you available to them?
That really is the big, thebiggest myth, I want to say,
where people think, oh, it'sonly a certain time of year, or

(26:35):
it's only a person thatidentifies as a medium, or that
knows that they're a medium.
It's none of that's true. Thetruth is we all have ability to
connect with our loved ones onthe other side, because we're
not actually disconnected fromthem. They're not actually far
away from us. They're just righthere. So it's just about us

(26:56):
being available to them, movingour awareness to them, quieting
our minds, quieting our lives,even just for a few minutes at a
time. So it's more about usbeing available to them than
them being available to us.
They're available to you rightnow, at any moment when you're
listening to this, whether it'sin October or sometime in the
future. Okay, so now let's diveinto, how can you use this

(27:20):
energy and tune in for real? Soespecially in this time of year,
like I said, when things arequieting and we are starting to
shift seasons, right? I want tosay, keep your own frequency
high. What do I mean by that? Sowe have to be honest with

(27:42):
ourselves at the same time,keeping our frequency high has
more to do with what we'reconsuming, what we're being a
part of, what we're taking in,how we're spending our time and
energy right low vibrationalthings is someone that needs to
be under the influence of asubstance all the time, someone
that is carrying a lot of angerand resentment and lashing out

(28:04):
and not working through thoseemotions, really just being
deeply involved in gossip orhate speech or kind of just
that, I don't even know how tosay it, It just feels yucky when
we're just looking only outsideof ourselves at other people and
wanting to make them wrong orreally it has to do with that

(28:26):
challenge side of the spectrumof emotions that anger,
resentment, frustration and howwe use it right? But be honest
with yourself, it's not aboutnot feeling our emotions right?
So staying high frequencydoesn't mean that it's like, Oh,
nope, can't hear your bad news.
Can't hear what's going on withyou, because I need to be high

(28:49):
vibrational, right? It doesn'tmean that, it doesn't mean that
we can't have empathy. Itdoesn't mean that we can't look
at a situation and haveemotions. There's a lot of
situations going on in our worldright now that I feel really sad
about, and I have to let thatsadness rise up to feel for my
fellow human beings, or ourlovely animal beings. And then I

(29:13):
can let that emotion movethrough me. Emotions a lot like
the weather, they move and movethrough us process it. And then
I can move back to a highervibrational frequency, right?
But we have to be honest withourselves, it's not about
avoiding every confrontation orconflict or hard conversation,
actually, that hinders ourenergy. That's like a spiritual

(29:36):
bypass, where it's like, Haveyou ever been in a friendship or
a relationship where it's like,there's a really, like, an
elephant in the room, or reallyhard thing that we need to talk
about or that we're feeling, andit's kind of like, well, if we
pretend that it's not there,then it's not there. This is not
true. We all know that, right?
And that's going to drag us downeven more, holding on to that

(29:56):
thing and not saying it, notfeeling. Not working through it,
whether we need to work throughit on our own or have that hard
conversation with anotherperson, but we don't have to
live in that difficult emotionalenergy forever, right? Okay, so
tipping towards higherfrequency, I would highly
recommend getting grounded everyday, even several times a day,

(30:17):
if you don't have a groundingexercise that you like, I have a

into your higher self and how toget really aligned. That is

your energy in making sure thatyou are aligned with your
highest self, with your soulself, aligning your energy not
with the toxicity of the world,which can be kind of easy to get
swept into, especially rightnow, right? But taking moments
to come back to yourself,remembering who you are truly as

a soul, not who you are inrelation to your to do list and
tasks and roles that you playand things that you're
responsible for, but who you areas a soul coming home to you,
right? Some people find thattherapy helps them with this.
Other people find meditationhelps them with this. Some
people find just taking a walkhelps them with this. Whatever

tools you have that you need,just coming back to yourself,
aligning with your own soul,self or higher self, energy, and
not aligning with the toxicityof this world. One way that I've
heard it, that I love saying itis observe, but don't absorb
especially if you're a healer,and if you're here, you are

probably a natural healer. Knowit or not, like it or not, you
hold space and love and giveguidance to those around you. So
those of us that are naturalhealers, our energetic intention
is often to match the personthat needs the most healing in
the space. We don't do itconsciously. Typically, it's

(32:05):
just something our energy does.
But we don't need to absorb allof that difficult energy of a
situation, of what's going onwith our friends, of what's
going on in the world. We doneed to observe it. Right? We
are not here to be kind of holedaway in our little places all by
ourselves alone. We're meant tobe in community and in

(32:28):
relationships. It's part of whywe come here to Earth school.
But we don't need to absorbeverything and hold it all. We
just need to observe it. Soobserve, but don't absorb
another thing that I really wantto highly encourage you to focus
on, all of these things I'mabout to tell you highly
encourage you to focus on, andit is part of this energy,

(32:49):
because with this quieting down,there is more time and space to
come back to yourself. There isthat shifting of light where
things are just getting a littlemore still. There is a chill and
a stillness in the airavailable. So another thing that
I would highly recommend thatyou do is this is a quote from

(33:09):
Maya Angelou. Some of you mightknow, when someone shows you who
they are, believe them. And Iwant to even extend this to when
someone tells you who they are,believe them. I can't even tell
you how many times in my lifesomeone has said in
conversation, oh, I'm about toswear so plug your ears, or plug
your kiddos ears, oh, I'm anasshole. I'm a total asshole to

(33:33):
everyone. Why I didn't used tolisten to that when someone said
it is beyond me. It's from anunhealed place, obviously. Or I
would think, Oh yeah, that'sjust how they are in the world.
That's not how they're going tobe with me. Or, oh yeah, I cheat
all the time. I take advantageof any step ahead I can get. I
take it right when people saythese things or behave that way,

(33:55):
believe them. It's not justabout how they're treating that
other person, how they are inthat work situation, how they
are in this contract orobligation that they have,
that's who they are. So whensomeone tells you who they are,
believe them, or when someoneshows you who they are, believe
them. If they have the abilityto just lie out of their face to

(34:17):
everyone, even when you couldsee they're wearing a blue shirt
and they're telling you they'rewearing a green shirt, right?
Obviously, it's not going to bethat example, but when someone
tells you who they are or showsyou who they are, please believe
them. And again, remember, aspart of this quieting down,
there is the potential for youto observe much more of

(34:37):
someone's behavior, truemotives, how they actually are,
who they actually are, how theyare showing up in these
situations and just in their dayto day life. Are they
considerate? Are theyinconsiderate? Are they rude?
Are they oblivious to thosearound them or to the feelings
of those around them? It's allthese little nuanced details

(34:59):
that. Can perceive fairly easilyif we just get quiet or get
still, if we're not thinkingabout ourselves or our response,
that we can have so much moreclarity and intuition right now
as part of this thinning of theveil type energy. So when
someone shows you who they are,please believe them. I'm always

(35:20):
working on this one, obviouslymyself. Another thing I'd love
you to focus on is gettingmindful. What do I mean? Pay
attention. Be present. Have youever driven somewhere that is
very familiar to you? Maybeyou're driving home from work.
Maybe you're driving on anerrand that you do pretty

(35:41):
regularly, and you're drivingalong and thinking and in your
own head, and then, you know,1520 minutes later, you're
pulling up to the place, and youdon't remember the play by play,
turn by turn, every stop signgetting there, you just kind of
went on autopilot. That's what Imean. We don't want to be on

(36:01):
autopilot through our livesright now. We want to be present
in the moment. That's what Imean by mindfulness. If you are
distracted and in your ownthoughts, you will be missing
the things in this world thatare showing up to get your
attention right now. How do youexpect to notice the subtle non

(36:22):
physical world if you are notavailable to notice the things
going on in this world rightnow, and the non physical, those
subtle energies, our subtlesenses, the Claires, often
you'll hear them called that'snot just something to be used
when we're thinking about thespirit world that's available to
us all the time, just as part ofhow we go through the world,

(36:44):
right? And sometimes, if you'rea little bit more present, you
just will notice thingshappening in the people that
live with you in your life, orthe pets that live with you in
your life, in the things goingon in the world around you,
right? So if you want to beaware of those subtle energies,

(37:04):
subtle emotions, subtle cluesgoing on around you, you must be
present energetically. We allthink about stuff in our own
mind, right? It doesn't meandon't think at all. It just
means make sure that you're notso lost in thought, so in your
own head, so focused on you,that you're not available and

(37:26):
aware for those subtle littlethings moving towards you in the
world. And it can be somethingas simple as like, missing
signs, missing patterns, thatkind of thing, but it's kind of
like I was giving that examplein the with the boss or the
relationship if they're speakingto you or speaking on a call and
you're present, let's just sayand you're so busy thinking

(37:48):
about, Oh, your grocery list, orthe stuff you still have to get
to in your inbox, or what theheck you're going to say back to
them as part of thisconversation, you're missing all
of those subtle clues, the bodylanguage, the things they're
saying, the demeanor, the waythat you're watching them think
in response, right? So please bemindful. Pay attention, be

(38:11):
present. That is one of thebiggest ways to start opening
yourself to allow yourawareness, and it really is just
all about our awareness. Yourloved ones could be jumping up
and down energetically, doing asong and dance right beside you
right now. And if you're notpresent and available, you
wouldn't know it, because itcomes in so subtly most of the

(38:34):
time, that non physical energyis often very, very subtle.
Okay, next thing I'd love you topay attention or focus on right
now, to really take advantage ofor harness this energy, is to
make notes of the things thatyou are noticing, the nudges,
the synchronicities, the thingsthat you might call quote,

(38:56):
unquote, coincidence patterns.
Make a note of them, a mentalnote, a physical note, if you
can, I prefer a physical note.
It could be on a sticky ifyou're a sticky note person, it
could be in the notes section ofyour phone or a voice memo. But
do not dismiss or judge. Justnote right? It's kind of how we

(39:20):
were saying in a conversation.
Note that thing that they saidthat just stuck out to you, even
if it seems so subtle like itdoesn't make any sense in the
conversation. I actually have anexample of this. I have a friend
recently, and some changes aregoing on in the place that they
work now, because they're myfriend, we can kind of look at
the subtle energy anytime wewant, but I've been encouraging

(39:42):
this friend to use more of theirown intuition in exactly this
way that I'm telling you now, tojust notice coincidences, things
that hang a little longer in theair. To you, and they were
telling me, yeah, I just feelunsettled like there's a lot of.
Meetings happening that not allof us are a part of. And there's
a lot of extra people kind ofcoming and going from the

(40:05):
office. And, you know, Iactually noticed that they're
kind of dressed up. They don'tseem like a contractor, like
they're going to do a remodel.
It seems like business people,and it seems like, you know, and
then so I ask a little bit ofquestions, because the truth is,
we always notice more than wethink we notice if we let

(40:26):
ourselves notice. So I startedjust offering some questions.
Well, what kind of, what kind ofdemeanor did they have when they
were going into the meeting? Oh,well, they were cordial, but,
you know, a little bit stiff, alittle bit, you know, it didn't
seem like a casual meeting. Itseemed a little more serious.
Okay, well, did you observe themwhen they left the meeting? What

(40:47):
kind of, what kind of attitudedid they have then? Oh, well,
you know, it's different everytime. But there's this one
person that always seems verystressed out after these
meetings, and actually is kindof grumpy for the rest of the
day. And I was like, Oh, justmake a note interesting. And
then there's one day that thatgrumpy person had to leave

(41:07):
early, and I was like, oh, didyou notice anything interesting
about either the time that theyleft or, you know, was anything
strange about that? And theysaid, well, actually, them
leaving early at all was alittle strange. And now that you
mentioned it, I did notice thatthey said that they were going
to a different a differentmeeting at a different work

(41:28):
site, a different, you know,location that we have. And
actually they were taking somethings with them that seemed
like they might be going to playgolf. Actually, I was like, Oh,
interesting, interesting. Sothere's always these little
subtle clues and cues and thingsthat we might just think, oh,
that's just a coincidence, or,Oh, that's just a, you know,

(41:49):
that's just a, I just keepseeing this butterfly, and I
don't know why, but it's aboutnoticing those things we could
so easily dismiss, right? Oh,no, that's just Bob. He just has
meetings all the time, andsometimes he's happy and
sometimes he's sad and he justhe's moody, whatever. But
instead, you could be noticingthat, ah, when Bob meets with
these three people, he's alwaysin a bad mood after I wonder

(42:12):
what is happening there? What doI know about those people?
Right? So there's always muchmore going on that, yes, our
logical mind is involved to adegree, but it's not our logical
mind driving thesynchronicities, the
coincidences, the patterns, thethings we notice. It's it's just
holding it right. So I wish Icould have an example of the

(42:36):
thing that was like a littlelonger in the air.
I can tell you one, but it's sopersonal, I'd like to adjust it
a little bit, because thisperson is still, is still alive.
You know, I'm just thinkingabout someone that I was in a
relationship with, and one time,it was just a super casual

(42:57):
conversation. Nothing was wrong,nothing was going on. And it was
really interesting, because thisperson had a very strong idea.
They had a company car at thetime, and they had a very kind
of strict way with themselveswith this company car. They did
not do personal errands oncompany car time. They did not

(43:20):
consume any type of like alcoholif they were going to be in this
company car, they had some veryjust personal, strict guidelines
that they followed as a part ofusing this company car, even
though they weren't likepoliced, there was no, uh,
there's no, like camera insidethis company car following them

(43:40):
To see if they did a personalerrand, right? And then one day,
when they were talking to me,and we were talking about, how
was your day? What did you do,they mentioned that they did
this personal errand as part oftheir day, that even though it
wasn't a crazy errand, it wasn'ta crazy thing to do, because

(44:00):
they were so adamant about beingoffended when people did
personal errands with companycars, that they never did that
over a long period of time, thatthat just stuck out to me as
like that is weird, that'sthat's interesting, and it just
was a little,not even a coincidence. It just
was a little something that Inoticed and I hung on to, and

(44:22):
later it strung together with athread on a thread of other
strange things like that thatit, I kind of could piece it
together and understand that,oh, they're meeting someone that
they're not supposed to bemeeting in times of day when
they're not supposed to bemeeting them. So I know that's a
little bit of an elusive story,but I don't want to go into too
many specifics, because thisperson's still alive, but so it

(44:44):
can be things like that, justsomething that you notice that
you are like, Why am I noticingthis detail? Right? And make a
note of it. So try really hardfrom now, if you can, forever,
but at least until we. Get tothe holiday season to just don't
dismiss things that arehighlighted to synchronicities,

(45:05):
signs, coincidences, patterns.
Try to be in non judgment,right? Try to just instead of
getting upset or angry or beingjudgmental, just notice. Just
try to be a little more neutral.
And let yourself notice. Resistthe urge to go into a mental
spin about like, what does thismean? What are they? What is

(45:26):
happening here? And just holdthat information and see what
else you know. See what else younotice. NOTICE being a very
important word here, seeing whatelse is revealed to you, right?
Because this thinning, thisadditional ability to use our
six senses, right? Is about usnoticing more in this world,

(45:47):
being more available. I've got afew more things, ways that we
can really harness this energy,because I really think like,
let's focus on us, right? Let'sfocus on you, and what you can
really use this energy to doright now. This energy is
perfect for creativeinspirations as a part of your
experience right now. So thosenudges that are coming in, not

(46:10):
just about other people, othersituations, other things going
on in the world, but thosenudges that are coming for you,
maybe you notice there's acertain color you're really
drawn to all of the sudden, oras a part of this time period,
maybe you notice that there'scertain friends that you're
starting to want to drift awayfrom, or starting to want to
move towards. Maybe you have anudge or a recurring inspiration

(46:33):
or thought or synchronicityacross your path that's making
you feel like one I've hadrecently is that I need to get
back to painting and return toI'm a bit of a crafty gal at
times. I love arts and crafts,so I've been tipping into that a
little bit more, but I do keepnoticing this little stirring,

(46:54):
this little nudge, this littleinspiration around actually
diving into bigger pieces ofartwork, painting. Now, what
does that mean for me? Maybeit's just a different way to use
my creative energy, maybe as apart of that exploration of that
side of myself. Maybe there'smore there for me to know or
have or understand, right? It'snot about, okay, well, I want to

(47:18):
know what's going to come ofthis before I do it, because I
don't want to waste my time.
It's not that it's followingthese nudges as they come up, or
even just noticing them if youdon't feel ready to follow
another way to really tune inand get the most of this energy
is being aware and tightening upyour own boundaries, boundaries

(47:41):
around your energy, boundariesaround your time, boundaries
around what you do and do notengage in. And again, you have
free will choice. So it's justnoticing what is working for you
and what is not working for you.
But Don't overextend yourself,right? So maybe it's you just
refocusing on, you know what? Ido feel a little bit extra
sensitive right now. I don'tknow what it's about, but I do

(48:03):
feel a little more Prickly, alittle more like I need some
alone time. Can you let yourselfhonor that? Can you not over
commit yourself? Could youcommit to an earlier bedtime?
Right? And it doesn't mean youhave to go to sleep earlier. If
you're like, Well, I'm not tiredearlier. It could just be you're
going to say, Okay, I'm going tobe in bed by x PM, and during
that extra time, I'm just goingto have some unwinding time, or

(48:28):
I'm going to have somejournaling time, or I'm going to
have some doodling time, ormaybe you're going to turn off
all devices a little earlier andbraid your friend's hair,
whatever it is, what are theboundaries that you need right
now, and honoring those to giveyourself a little extra time to
have a little more quiet, sothat you can be in this energy

(48:49):
even more and there is a verystrong possibility that as you
get quieter and can break outlittle bits of time for your own
stillness, your own quietcontemplation, not a driving,
thinking, pushing, busy mind.
That you will be a little moreaware of your loved ones from
the other side, saying hello, orspending time with you, with the

(49:14):
presence of them, right? You canalso think about reviewing your
energetic contracts, agreements,particularly in your
relationships. We are in theseason of relationship as far as
astrology, so just reevaluatingor checking in on touching in on
those energetic contracts.
Perhaps there's a relationshipthat you had that this person

(49:38):
has historically called you andcomplained and just dumped
emotions all over you, and maybeyou're deciding, you know what,
I'm actually not available forthat anymore. I still want to be
their friend, but I no longer amgoing to give them two hour
blocks of my time to justemotionally. Really vomit all

(49:59):
over me, right? It could besomething as easy as that, that
you just don't agree to thatanymore, and you could directly
have a conversation about it, oryou could just start pulling
back your time and not being asavailable. That is up to you. I
would take a look at theemotions around it. Why you're
feeling different. Maybe you'rejust more in alignment with
yourself and realizing,actually, I do want to support

(50:20):
this friend, but this is not thehealthiest way for me. Maybe you
decide, okay, well, you knowwhat? Instead, let's do a 30
minute walk and talk, and we canmove our bodies, and I can also
hear what's going on with them,and that is what works for me,
right? So getting a little bitmore clear about what you agree
to, what you don't agree to,what you agree to instead as
part of this. Because thinkabout like the harvest, the

(50:44):
overturning of the soil, we'returning over our agreements,
particularly in ourrelationships. And how are you
showing up in yourrelationships? And do you like
it? Is it as the best version ofyou? And if it's not, why not?
Is it because you're too tiredbecause you're giving away your
energy in other places. Is itbecause? Why just getting a
little more clear with yourself?

(51:08):
We won't go through all thereasons it could possibly be
another thing to look at rightnow as part of this season is
planning family or communitygatherings for togetherness. Now
I know for many of us, we areabout to come into that season
towards the end of the yearwhere there are lots of events
and parties and things to attendand dinners and friendsgivings

(51:32):
and holiday extravaganzas andall of that. But you don't have
to agree to all that. If youfind it invigorating and fun and
exciting, have at it. But if youare someone that's like, you
know what? Actually the truthis, I have a social battery that
I can only do, maybe fourparties in a season, maybe one

(51:52):
party in a season, whatever itis for you. Or maybe I have a
social battery that I don'treally like to be in big groups
of people. I actually prefereither a very small group or
maybe just one on one time. It'sagain, being really honest with
yourself about yourself. And Idefinitely would be checking in
on your social battery and beinghonest about that as part of

(52:13):
this boundaries with your ownenergy. But I would also because
this time of year, in thequieting and in the going within
while that's very important forsome of us that do lean a little
bit more to liking our alonetime anyway, it can really make
us push everyone else away. Sowe don't want that. We want some

(52:36):
version of middle ground rightwhere we are also engaging in
community and gatherings andtogetherness that feel good to
us, that honor what we want toexperience, and then again,
being very present for thosemoments that you've committed
to. Maybe we're turning offdevices only allowing, you,
know, to be on the phone in anemergency. Maybe we're playing a

(52:58):
game together. Maybe we're eachwriting a question, a really
interesting question. We'regonna all go around and answer
the questions. Whatever it isfor you that feels fun. Maybe
we're just gonna all eatpudding. I don't know it feels
lovely to you, but intentionallyplanning these family gatherings
for togetherness as part ofusing the energy of this season

(53:22):
in the best way you canfocus on intentions right now.
Remember, it's about plantingseeds for your future
manifestations right now. So Iwant to be really clear about
this, that planting seeds,focusing our intentions, is not
about control. Now so manypeople, I'm about to do another

(53:43):
Ask a medium, anything episode,and I have gotten so many
questions around, well, thething I want to manifest is not
manifesting yet. And what am Isupposed to do between now and
then, or I don't like the waythat this thing is manifesting,
that this job is going and whatam I supposed to do now in kind
of demanding a certain result,our intentions and the way that

(54:03):
we manifest, it's not reallygonna jive with the energy of
control and rigidity anddemanding. So instead of when we
do intentions, and if you guyswant a manifestation and
intention setting episode,please let me know I'm happy to
do one. It's actually really funwork if you're doing it in the

(54:24):
best, most aligned way, butfocusing on intentions. It's not
about demanding. Okay, I wantthis in this quantity, in this
way, this one result. Well,we're not allowing clarity to
unfold, because what can happenin this very magical, special,
quieting time of year is that ifwe focus on what we truly want

(54:46):
as our intention, not just athing, right or a specific
relationship, but how we want tofeel, why do you want that
thing? Why do you want thatrelationship? What. Is it going
to bring you in the emotion,focusing on the emotions of the
intention, and not trying tocontrol definitely, not trying

(55:06):
to control other people, nottrying to control the outcomes
of situations, just leaving thatcontrol at the door. And it
manifests and shows up indifferent ways, for for all of
us, and in lots and lots ofsneaky ways, but this idea of
manifestation and focusing onintentions control limits

(55:27):
clarity. So if you are trying tocontrol every aspect the way
something rolls out, demandingsomething to show up in only one
way, you're not allowing clarityto unfold. So as you're focusing
on these intentions, focusing onclarity around the next steps
with your intention, notcontrolling the outcome and

(55:48):
getting also clarity on why doyou want that intention? Why do
you want that thing or thatperson, or that feeling, that
emotion? So not only identifyingthe emotion that's underneath
the wish or intention, but alsothe why, what's it going to
bring you? Is it joy? Is itfreedom? Is it expansiveness? Is

(56:09):
it that you want to truly knowyourself more, right? So
whatever your intentions are,this is one of the best ways to
use this energy right now, notbecause we're going to get the
thing right. I mean, there aresome probably good sales coming
up right around the corner, soget the thing if you can. But
it's not about that. It's aboutgetting more clarity as the

(56:32):
steps and path to whatever thisintention unfolds. It's about
clarity right now, information,intuition and knowing that this
thinning in the energy right,this electricity in the energy,
this quieting in our world rightnow, is giving you the
opportunity to really allow, Iwant to really highlight that

(56:56):
word, allow your clarity andawareness to be front and
center, whether that is clarityand awareness about that
meeting, that relationship, thatconversation, or whether it is
awareness of your loved one justbeside you, because they are
available right now, whether youbelieve that the veil is thin or
not right now, I can tell youlike I said, I do this work all

(57:19):
year long, and your loved onesare as available to you on
Halloween at midnight as theyare on July 9, as they are on
April 7, as they are on any daythat you want to pick up the
year, they're equally available.
They love you the same. Andthat's whether it's loved ones

(57:41):
that have crossed over,ancestors that you knew or
didn't know, wise mentors, maybethat you had at one point in
this life, or maybe that youread something that they wrote
before you were born, spiritguides, angels, whatever version
of unseen world that you'rereally wanting to understand as

(58:01):
part of this thinning of theveil time, it is about your
awareness, your allowing, andare you creating an environment
within yourself that you areavailable to be aware, whether
it's someone saying somethingand you're available to be aware
of like, oh yeah, they're sayingthat, But something in the

(58:21):
energy is not matching up withwhat they say. Okay, I don't
know exactly what yet, but Ihave a little more clarity. It's
about a little more clarity, alittle more availability, a
little more allowing. And if youdo want to create some time and
space to sense your loved onesor your guides, I just re
release that spirit guides.

energy around us getting quiet,but you getting quiet. Maybe
that means taking a walk. Maybethat means spending some time
journaling. Maybe that meanscreating a quietness ritual for
yourself, which could look likeanything from like candles and
and essential oil diffusers, orit could look like doing yoga,

anything that quiets you, thatmakes you feel a little more
still, right? And it doesn'thave to be an actual physical
stillness. I actually often feelvery quiet when I'm going for a
walk, there's a quieting of myenergy that happens. So that is
what we are looking for, thequieting of our energy, the
quieting of the energy aroundus, and moving our awareness to

(59:30):
be available, to even just senseor know or have that loved one
or that guide come to mind,right? So it's really all about
your awareness and yourallowing, at this time of year,
the thinning of the veil, orthis veil between worlds, this
focus that we have, that is soon only what's tangible that we

(59:54):
can see, hear, touch, right?
And. That veil being lifted isreally about us allowing our
awareness to expand to what'snot being said, what's happening
in the subtle energy, what'sstirring in your emotions, what
emotions are happening in thisconversation right now? What

little nudging or wiggling, orwhat's bubbling up to your mind
or your awareness, right? That'sreally what it's about, because
the other side's available to usall the time. But are you
available to them? That's reallywhat this quieting time of year
about. So is about so hopefullythis has made sense to you.

actually feel or sense or knowthat the other side is with you,
