If you’ve found yourself struggling to tell those people important to you that you are intuitive or received an intuitive message, in this episode Whitney discusses some ideas on how best to communicate about your gift.  The Deeper Reason It Feels Awkward To Tell People You Are Intuitive  Sharing the fact that you are intuitively connected should be something to be celebrated. However, not everyone is as open to the topic of intuition and things can get awkward. There are many reasons why it feels this way. There may be some wound you carry that inhibits you from speaking freely on the topic.   How To Tell Your Spouse and Family You Are Intuitive  Clear communication is necessary in any healthy relationship. If your spouse is not as woo as you, you’ll need to explain your intuition to them in terminology they will receive and understand. Whitney gives some great examples. Including some beautiful ways to protect your energy in these types of conversations.  What To Say When You Have an Intuitive Message For Someone  Again it may be best to put the message into words the person will accept and understand.  One example is when you say “I feel like you should….” the person may accept it is only you providing an opinion vs you delivering an intuitive message.  How To Handle Telling Groups You Are Intuitive  Sometimes it’s helpful to start out with more general terms to do a “vibe” check to see if the person you are speaking with is even interested in the topic of intuition. This way you get to determine how much energy you put into explaining about what you do or not. Whitney shares some beautiful ways to protect your energy in these types of conversations.  At the end of the day it is up to you who you share your gifts with.
