Clarity is one of the priceless gifts of sobriety. In order to spiritually love ourselves, we have to take the time to sit with the memories that drove us to escape our lives. We can't beat ourselves up to becoming the best version of ourselves and we cannot own our story by numbing or running from it. Providing ourselves with this presence that we so desperately need connects us to our sacred truths while helping us heal our story.
