What if your chronic health issues aren't just physical, but energy leaks you never knew existed? In this illuminating conversation, master healer Amy Stark reveals how she transformed from a chronically ill science teacher facing daily threats in one of New York's most dangerous schools to reversing her biological age by 11 years—without expensive biohacking equipment.

Amy shares the pivotal moment when her car was rear-ended while accepting another teaching position—the universe's dramatic way of redirecting her path.

This catalyzing event led her to develop the powerful framework detailed in her forthcoming book, "Bridging the Divide: A Powerful Path to Personal Transformation by Healing the Mind, Body and Spirit," which launches May 4th.

The conversation explores the science behind energy healing, explaining how our 57 trillion cells communicate through energy and form a sophisticated network connecting us to the quantum field.

Amy demystifies how trauma creates holes in our energetic system and why techniques like Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) work so effectively by engaging mind, body, and spirit simultaneously—something traditional therapy often misses.

Particularly fascinating is Amy's explanation of how our thoughts literally create our reality through the brain's reticular activating system, which filters information based on our beliefs. "Your brain is a goal-achieving machine," she explains, demonstrating how making a firm decision initiates a cascade of physiological changes that support healing.

She also reveals surprising connections between meditation, glucose management, and energy healing that even experienced practitioners may not know.

Whether you're battling chronic illness, feeling energetically drained, or simply curious about the intersection of science and spirituality, Amy's practical approach offers actionable steps anyone can take to reclaim scattered energy and become "unstoppable."

Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello everyone, welcome to the Spiritual

create lasting transformation.
She is on today to talk abouther amazing book that's coming

It's called Bridging the Dividea Powerful Path to Personal
Transformation by Healing theMind, body and spirit.

(00:24):
It's a blueprint for deephealing and awakening, offering
readers a powerful integrationof scientific insight and
spiritual truth.
Amy, thank you so much forcoming on the Spiritual
Spotlight Series.
I'm so happy you're here.
I'm so excited to be here.
I was honored to be one of herreaders of her amazing book.
Just because I asked.

(00:44):
I was like, please, yes, yes, sign me up.
The cover of it is amazing andI honestly this handbook.
It needs to be like.
Anyone going through anawakening 101 needs to read this
book.
It is definitely has so muchinformation.
I really thoroughly enjoyed itand I'm so happy to talk about
it today.
This is so exciting.
I really thoroughly enjoyed itand I'm so happy we're going to

(01:05):
talk about it today.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
This is so exciting.
I love that you read the bookand got through the whole thing,
because it is a lot and it is amanual.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
It's meaty, everyone.
It's like an encyclopedia forall things spirituality.
And what I appreciate so muchabout the book, amy, is that you
back it up with scientificevidence.
It's like, well, this worksbecause of this, amy, is that
you back it up with scientificevidence, like it's like, well,
this works because of this?
And this is because of that andit's and also what I do
appreciate about the book andI'll get into asking questions

(01:34):
in one second was you open upabout your childhood and how you
had a chronic illness and howyou overcame and, you know, went
through kind of this journey toget to where you are now?
It was, it's quitetransformational, which is kind
of interesting because that'syour podcast name.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah, well, I am in my name of my company.
Yes, Hello, transformation ismy word.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, I love that.
So your journey from a scienceteacher to a certified energy
healer and a psychic medium isremarkable.
What kind of catalyzed thistransformation?
And obviously, because we'reboth energy healers, is gonna be
a lot of energy is coming in.
I'm gonna stumble on a lot ofmy words, so everyone just bear
with me.
So what catalyzed thistransformation and how did it

(02:21):
feel to step in such a differentcalling in your life?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
And how did it feel to step in such a different
calling in your life?
Great question it was bananas,bananas.
So I was a New York Cityscience teacher and I was really
stressed out.
I was working in one of themost dangerous schools in New
York City and I had my lifethreatened often and my immune

(02:45):
system was failing.
My mind was failing, like Iwanted to just quit living here,
basically on earth.
It was just too much.
And instead I realized like Ihad an epiphany and I talk about
it in the book like where Istepped back from you know the
worst thing that could possiblyhappen and I was like maybe I
don't know enough, maybe thingsaren't exactly what I think they

(03:06):
are, and that was just enoughto like literally catapult me
into a whole new timeline whereI started to ask a lot more
questions.
Like, like you had said, I waschronically ill, and so that was
definitely a huge component ofit, because it was a lot of the
time I was miserable, I wassuffering on the inside, but

(03:27):
then this was a new thing for meto be suffering mentally.
And so one of my you knowsomebody who I now mentioned
that I should try meditation andI I was actually scared to say
that I didn't want to meditateBecause I was like Amy come on,
who says that, like you can doit.
So I sat down, I startedmeditating and I actually felt
want to meditate Because I waslike Amy, come on, who says that
, like you can do it.
So I sat down, I startedmeditating and I actually felt a

(03:48):
lot better.
And I was surprised to feelbetter by doing nothing, and so
that also got me questioninglike okay, why did that work and
how do I do more of that?
So I started doing more and moreand as eventually I just
realized, okay, weird stuff'sout there, because I started
knowing the future, I startedfeeling what was in other

(04:08):
people's bodies, allaccidentally, and I'm like this
is crazy, how is this happeningto me?
Like, clearly there is, there'sgotta be some something working
behind all this.
So that's when I startedconnecting to science and spirit
and I realized, you know, whileI was teaching science to the
students, they didn't mentionthat our cells are full of
energy and that they're allcommunicating through energy and
that we're all connected tothis quantum field and all this

(04:31):
other stuff.
And I was like wow, and beingchronically ill.
Nobody ever said that there wassomebody who could heal with
their hands to help me, or Imean back then.
I mean personal development waslooked down upon.
If you said you went to atherapist, people were like oh,
I still think they do that now, kind of it's definitely a lot
better than it was when I wasgrowing up.

(04:53):
Yeah, and chiropractors wereknown as quacks, like.
I mean that was where I camefrom, and so it was really hard
to like come out of thespiritual closet.
Like I was really Westernmedicine, like I said, I was in
a science teacher, so Idefinitely had that left brain
going on and then suddenly I'mactivating this right side of my
brain, getting this, thesedownloads, this information

(05:13):
connecting science and spirit, and I wanted to tell everybody
about it, but then I also didn'twant to lose all my friends.
So it was like coming out ofthe spiritual closet.
Um, and it was.
It was rough for a while but itwas too good and too amazing
for me not to share and I alsoknew that that was my calling
for the rest of my life was toshare this with the world.
So which is amazing.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
I have the book, I know and I love, I love the
cover of it, everything.
So the title of your book, bridging the Divide, speaks to
unifying aspects of self.
What divides were you healingin your own life and how did
this integration become your?

Speaker 2 (05:51):
mission.
Yeah, so I was healing my mindto my body.
I was healing my body to myspirit.
I was connecting so many dots, but essentially I was going.
I wanted to go from where I wasto where I thought I could be,
which ideally it was somebodywho was really healthy.
You know, I that was.
That was why I started.

(06:12):
Really it was.
It was quite selfish Actually.
I was just like I first of allneed to be able to handle my day
to day life and I had workedfour years trying to get all the
certifications and thepaperwork filed and things like
that.
I had like a 401k.
I like was thought I was goingto be set and then I couldn't do
it any longer.
So that was really hard tohandle.

(06:34):
And then, thankfully, I juststarted to follow my spirit and
my heart more instead of what Ithought I was supposed to do.
And that's when I stepped intothis role of working with a
family, helping them with theirscience and math in New York
City, and the schedule shiftallowed me for this like extra
meditation time, working on mybody, working on my mind, doing

(06:55):
more research, and that is howeverything kind of came together
and allowed me.
So I was sort of like in acontainer for the next four
years where I was like reallygrowing and learning, and then I
realized, okay, it's time forme to move on and share this
with people in a directone-on-one basis.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Right, right, Absolutely yeah.
So you describe transformationas facing challenges head on
like a buffalo running into thestorm.
Why is this metaphor soimportant for personal growth?

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Well, honestly, a lot of times we don't want to face
these things right, because it'suncomfortable, like it was
really hard for me to leave myjob, but you know, in the end it
was the best thing that everhappened to me.
I I think in the book I talkabout when I was sitting in the
car.
It was a parked car and I wasabout to accept the next job to
the next school and it was goingto be the third school that I
was going to try out and I gotrear-ended while I'm sitting

(07:52):
there in the car on the phonewith the principal trying to
like, basically accept the joband it was enough.
The universe was like Amy, youare not doing this again.
And rear-ended me, like, snapped me out of what I was,
the reality I was in, and I waslike, okay, all right, and I
even said right then.
And there I said I am so sorry,I can't do this again.
You know, sorry.

(08:13):
What was your question aboutthat?

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Why is the metaphor facing challenges head on?
So why is it so important?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Well, because, metaphorically speaking, we have
like one hand tied behind herback when, we are not facing
something in, maybe even both, because the reality is you're
always aware of the challengethat you're facing or that it's
happening.
There's a certain amount ofenergy that is going towards
that which could be used to goin a different direction, which
is probably the direction you'resupposed to be going in anyway.

(08:42):
So I'm a fan of ripping thebandaid off.
It's sort of like a lot ofpeople prefer to leave the
bandaid on.
It gets moldy, it gets grosslike, and then they're like if
maybe it falls off eventuallyand it's like worst case
scenario, you know, or they, they peel it off slowly and then
they go through the pain.
Anyway, it's like run towardsthat thing, rip that bandaid off
and have the energy to be ableto handle and be like, oh, that

(09:04):
hurt, and then you have moreenergy to handle the rest of the
things that come.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
There's like a section in the book it's about
like for me it felt likereclaiming power and you talk
about like radicalresponsibility.
And then there's like you havethis piece about diet, you know,
and about our water and aboutall of that stuff and, honestly,
like for someone as myself andI'm I'm a spiritual practitioner
, registered nurse Like I knowthe things I'm supposed to know,

(09:30):
but it's it's almost like itwas a gentle reminder to me,
like no, this actually matters, like this stuff that you're
talking about, and I guess canyou please speak on why does
radical responsibility matter somuch in somebody that's going
through like a transformationalprocess?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
It's a mindset that changes everything when we
reclaim our power.
So when we say that I'm incharge of this situation,
everything starts to change, andit has to do with the way that
our brain is wired.
So we have something that'scalled the reticular activating
system, which will find thethings that match in our reality
.
So if we believe that we're notgood enough, we'll find the
things that show us that we'renot good enough, but if we

(10:09):
believe that we are good enough,we will.
We will recognize when somebodysays wow, that was really
amazing, amy, like I couldn't dothis without you, or whatever
you take in that information.
So, more simply speaking, ifyou're like I want to buy a
white car, you will see whitecars everywhere and you'll be
like does, is everybody intowhite cars now?
But it's just your brain taggingwhat's important.

(10:30):
So if you believe that you arethe creator of your life, you
will start to create your life.
And so, um, if you start tofocus on the things that you
want, like better health, yourbrain will naturally like notice
when there's salads availableor where you have a friend
that's like, hey, let's go for awalk.
Your body will be moreattracted to that situation and

(10:51):
thus probably likely to followthat path of the things that are
good for you and eventuallybring you down further, which is
maybe to better health, becauseyour brain tagged that as
important and and went on so, um, that's why I created the power
section in the first chapter ofthe power section is the power
of a decision.
Decide now.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Yes, I, when I, when I read that sorry, I was like I
know there's something in thereshe's going to say.
I was like, hey, men, cause I.
It's just like it's you know, when we go through stressful
days and whatnot, and it's likethis can't, this can't just be.
It's like there's more to lifethan just this.
And I was like, yes, decide, please, keep please keep talking
.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Yeah, so the first part of the book is really
laying down sort of like thefoundations of transformation
and then the foundations of themind, body and spirit.
But then I'm like, okay, I'vegiven you the information you
need to know in terms of themind, body and spirit.
But then I'm like, okay, I'vegiven you the information you
need to know in terms of thespiritual aspects and then how
it relates to, maybe, quantumphysics and things like that.
But now I'm looking at you likea coach in that third section

(11:54):
where I'm like I kind of felt it.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Guys.
I will say I was like and itwas so interesting and Amy, I
apologize for key, I keepputting you off because I'm
excited was that I was readingit.
And Amy, I apologize for I keepputting you off because I'm
excited was that I was readingit and I honestly was like I was
texting people what you hadwritten in the book.
I was like, yes, this is whatwe need right now, because it

(12:16):
applied to what I was goingthrough in that day, like it was
just so perfect.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Please keep talking.
Well, and that's the wholething is like nothing will start
unless you make that decision.
So not only is your brainbecome a goal achieving machine
and we'll start to focus onwhatever you decide you want,
but it is where we begin.
Like I give the analogy in mybook about how you, when you're
trying to go somewhere withdirections, you have to say

(12:39):
where you are.
So by saying where you are, you're.
I mean it's a little dramaticto say I accept that I'm right
here and this is where I want togo, but that is how we begin
our journey.
We have to accept where we'reat.
We have to make that decision.
This is where I am, this iswhere I want to go, and that's
how we get there.
Our brain is a goal-achievingmachine.
We'll populate those directions.
We don't know exactly what it'sgoing to look like and it will

(13:02):
be a journey, but if we keeptrusting, our heart and our mind
will guide us in the directionthat we want to go.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Absolutely so.
You do describe your path ashome for the soul.
So what does home mean to you,and how can someone recognize
when they found it?

Speaker 2 (13:23):
So I would say that your heart is your ultimate GPS.
You know your brain is going tohelp you get there, obviously,
but I am somebody who it's sointeresting in today's day and
age, we don't tap into ourfeelings enough, and I'm over
here being like the feelings arethe thing.
Um, but it's so true.

(13:43):
Like you're, it is true, it istrue, they're tempered.
Yeah, your 57 trillion cells inyour body are communicating
together through energy, so youare a walking and talking
antenna and you are constantlyin a feedback loop with the
universe and those around youand the situations and things
that are coming up and you candecide based on how you feel

(14:05):
about something.
Now here's where it gets tricky.
If we have trauma that we are,you know, suppressing our trauma
will confuse the cells, like,so that's why we want to do our
work and we want to heal that sothat we become coherent and
make better choices forourselves.
But, like, for instance, if wehave trauma about worrying about

(14:26):
people seeing us, let's say, then that would keep us from
maybe getting that job that wewant right.
So that's why we heal inside sothat we can change the outside
to what we want.
And those 57 trillion cells areyour GPS, all communicating.
And your heart, having thehighest level of electromagnetic

(14:47):
field you know, really createswho you are.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
So I do like in the book.
So for every chapter she haskind of like a.
You know, this is what thechapter was about.
But you also have exercises andI will say that I really
appreciated a lot of yourexercises that you had in the
book.
And I believe in the book andI'm sorry if I'm incorrect there
was this like brain, heartcoherence and talking about like
breathing in from the heart andexhaling out that to me I run a

(15:17):
doctor's office in my day life,so it's not a peaceful
environment.
So I will say that I've beentalking to my providers about
okay, guys, let's just take, let's breathe in from our heart.
So can you just tell us alittle bit about that?
And why is breathing from ourheart so much different than
maybe breathing from our nose?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Well they're.
They're both very effective inturning on the parasympathetic
nervous system.
And did you enjoy the exercisesabout turning on your
parasympathetic nervous system?
And did you enjoy the exercisesabout turning on your
parasympathetic?

Speaker 1 (15:47):
I did I will say that I've been practicing turning my
head to the left.
I haven't, so I was.
I was sitting in bed when I wasreading.
I was like yep, and then I'vebeen doing it at work.
I'm like okay, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
So, yes, I do Awesome ways to reset in the moment and
, like I said, your heart issuch a stronger electromagnetic
field and when we are expandingthat field, we are expanding our
entire field, because it's allrelated.
It's in a feedback loop, and Iwas recently listening to

(16:21):
somebody speak about that aswell and they were talking about
going interdimensionally bydoing it and I was like, wow, I
maybe should focus on that alittle bit more and do it more
often.
I mean all the exercises I havespecifically chosen because
they're effective and they'regreat at helping us to be more
mindful and get to the root ofwhat might be holding us back,

(16:42):
and mostly it's a lot aboutmetacognition.
So it's like recognizing ourthoughts and our limiting
beliefs, because that is reallyhard.
We have blocked ourselves in alot of ways.
So anyway, that's interestingyou brought up about that
exercise.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I did.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
I really did and and I like the fact that, honestly,
and I do feel like this is abook that I'm going to go to a
lot when maybe I'm having like Ineed to kind of a pick me up or
I need to have a gentlereminder, or let me just try
this exercise Like cause, thereare a lot of very profound
exercises and within this, book, and every time somebody reads

(17:17):
the book, they'll pick upsomething new, absolutely.
It's like I need to just haveit.
Do you have an audio bookcoming out?

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I everybody's asking for it and I have tried to work
on some things to get that done.
It's going to take a while.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
This was a lot Sorry, that was really off topic, I'm
like, but I was thinking yeah,I'm looking at the fall for um
having possibly a podcast comingout about that.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Oh yeah, like a chapter, a episode?

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Oh, that'd be so cool .
So you've mentioned this acouple of times, that everything
is energy.
How can people begin to feeland work with energy in
practical, daily ways?

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Well, so here's the thing that most people say
energy, and let's say they're inthe woo-woo category.
What they're really talkingabout is the energy that
obviously between the cells, because I just mentioned that,
but also what, like we weretalking about, it's the nervous
system and how it is functioning, and whether or not we are in
the parasympathetic or thesympathetic nervous system is

(18:15):
really important.
Parasympathetic or thesympathetic nervous system is
really important.
So ways that we can work withour energy in just the moment is
by like in that chapter Italked about turning your head
to the left.
You know that will balance yournervous system and you will
find that you will yawn, whichwill help you reset.
In the moment, when we are inour parasympathetic nervous
system, we are in our highestself, essentially I system.

(18:37):
We are in our highest self, essentially, I mean we have
access to our intuition, we haveaccess to our creativity.
We can make better choices forourselves.
Our body has a chance to healand rest and digest.
So that is primarily where wewant to be, though there are
times that we will need to be inthe sympathetic, but that one
and then I really do love thecovering one eye and looking up

(18:59):
that one just resets.
So that's a more scientific wayof handling your energy.
But you can also just play withenergy between your hands,
which is really fun to do, and, like you can test that out.
Another one which I can sharewith your people, which I don't
know if I shared in my book.
I mean my gosh, it's 550 pagesessentially.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
It's long everyone.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
And I had to stop like putting in stuff because I
just had to come out to theworld.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
It's like an encyclopedia.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
But you know what I do put in my personal stories to
help with the integration ofthe information.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
And it makes it make sense, like then you can say, oh
, okay, well, she's, and alsoyou've gone through it, so go
ahead.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Yeah, you can see I know what I'm talking about.
I guess, yes, you do, but there.
So there's a.
There's a fun exercise that youcan try with a friend, so, as
somebody who's sensitive toenergy, if they want to try it
out with you.
But basically you can also testyour energy by imagining a rose
in between you and your partner.

(20:07):
If you're like 15 to 20 feetaway in between you guys throw
an energetic rose from your mindand then the other person walks
towards where they feel theenergy.
It is unbelievable, especiallyif you are sensitive to energy.
For myself, when I walk towardsthat, I can tell, probably like
two feet away, that it's comingup and I will start to feel

(20:30):
really uncomfortable as Iapproach that rose because it's
really high vibrational and theyhave put it essentially as a
boundary.
So if you are in a conversationwith somebody and you want them
to step back or stay away, youcan put a rose between you and
them and they will block thatenergy from you.
Another thing you can do is putit on the front of your car
when you're driving in the backof your car to keep people away.

(20:52):
Put on the side of your car andit acts as this energetic
boundary that people sense butthey don't really.
They wouldn't know what it wasunless they have had this
conversation or some sort oftraining.
But that's a way to test yoursensitivity to energy or one of
the ways.
But you can also just play witha ball of energy in your hand

(21:12):
and just see how that feels.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
I like that idea.
I really like that idea.
I'm thinking about when I'm onthe phone with a difficult
person.
I'm going to throw.
I'm going to throw that up andbe like, hey, I'm good, also, we
.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
As a clinician, you should be cleaning your energy
out every single day.
Did you like that exercise?
Um, did you try it?
Okay, how did it make you feel?
Because when you finally learnhow to clear out your energy,
it's profound.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
I will say that when I clear out my energy and I
apply the practices that I knowto do and also in your book, I'm
I'm like.
I don't feel like I'm a walkinghow do I want to say this?
I don't feel like I'm a woundedperson by other people's
energies, like I feel like thefield that I'm in.
I there's, there's constantjabs and it's like I have to

(22:00):
make sure that I shield myself, but then clean myself when I
leave work and then I also throwup.
I also have energeticprotections up at work, so it's
like I feel like, but it's alsoa sense of peacefulness.
Does that make sense?
Like, almost like I can be, I'mgood, I'm a sovereign being.
I'm really going off topic here.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
No, it's true.
So an interesting thing is Iran into this guy who is a
billionaire and he was all intoenergy and traveling, visiting
monks and all kinds of stufftrained by the highest people
essentially is from what he said.
And he said I can readanybody's energy, but I can't
read yours, and I knew it wasbecause of that technique that I

(22:43):
put in the book.
I I'm.
I will be doing that every day.
Yeah, it's very, very powerfuland it's very easy to do Um it.
What it does is it what youwere trying to say, I think is
that you become a funnel toother people's energy and
information.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Thank you, I was like I don't know how I want to get
these words out.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Yeah, if you aren't clearing your energy and
reclaiming it and filling it in.
You are like Swiss cheesewalking around, sort of, or like
you have these whole.
You're permeable and people'sintentions can come in and be
felt and you're like, oh my God,I got to do that thing for that
person.
And you're like, wait, if youwere in your parasympathetic
you'd be like, no, that's notthe case.

(23:22):
So basically, what it does isnot only does it clear everybody
else's energy so you can figureout what your agenda is, but it
actually you can learn tostrengthen your field and
protect it so that their energydoesn't ever even get in.
So try having a moment no.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
I think that's, that's it's.
I don't think we realize, like, how important it is to do these
kinds of practices.
And because you do say that youknow, when we don't clear
ourselves or if we don't, likeyou know, work on our traumas,
we, we, we become exhausted anddrained, even yourself, like you
.
You know work on our traumas.
We become exhausted and drained.
Even yourself.
Like you, you went throughchronic illnesses and you know,

(24:03):
because of these practices thatyou have shared in the book and
that you've done yourself, younow have, like, your immune
system super strong.
Your chronological age isreverse 11 years, like it's just
, I guess.
How do you, what do you say toanyone that's listening and say
why is it so important toimplement the practices that are

(24:23):
, or choose to implement thepractices that are, in your book
?

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Here's the thing that people need to understand.
Like you had asked me, why dowe want to face things head on?
Well, because part of ourenergy is taken when we aren't
facing it.
So part of our energy is alwaysattending to that thing and
holding it off.
So it's busy when we're sickand we're not taking care of
ourselves or feeding ourselves.
Part of our energy is goingwhen we have unresolved trauma.

(24:52):
Part of our energy is in thepast.
So when we start to healourselves or do the energy
clearing so that we are just ourenergy, we become so freaking
powerful.
And when we claim our thoughts, like when we are sure of how we
are talking to ourselves I meanthat was I started out my

(25:13):
journey and it was horrible.
I mean, the self-talk was nasty.
You wouldn't talk to your bestfriend that way and yet I was
doing it all the time and it wasprobably one of the things that
I was doing the most in my life, because it's more than
anything we think, more than webreathe, more than we eat, more
than we walk, whatever.
So making sure that ourthoughts are very pure and clean
towards ourselves and havingthat forgiveness which I talk a

(25:36):
lot about forgiveness there's awhole chapter on it, as well as
EFT, which is the ultimatetechnique.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Yes, you do.
I like that.
You do talk about that a lot inthe book.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Go ahead, Go ahead.
Yeah, it's a wonderfultechnique, but what I'm what I'm
trying to say is, when wegather all that energy back, we
become unstoppable.
And I was like I told you, Iwas chronically ill for the
first 30 years of my life andnow I have the immune system
that is 14 years younger, Likewhen I was nine years old.

(26:09):
My doctor wanted to take out myimmune system.
He said this to me I want totake out your immune system,
replace it with a new one.
And I was like well, what isthat going?

Speaker 1 (26:16):
to do for me.
What does it mean?

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Yeah, what does it mean?
I can't do that.
So, like what?
I'm taking my allergy medicine,I'm taking my asthma medicine,
I'm getting the two shots in myarm.
Like why am I still miserable?
Like what is going on?
Fix this, you know.
And that was his answer.
And here I am now, at almost 45years old, and I am healthier
than I was when I was nine.
Like how is that freakingpossible?
Exactly, how is that possible?

(26:42):
I know.
And it's when you reclaim thatenergy, not only does it come
back to you and you become morestrong and more powerful and
you're this like very strongenergetic signal but you know
who you are and you know whereyou're going, which is also one
of the ways we often loseourselves.
Like we aren't dialed in asmuch as we could be.

(27:05):
And I just had my biologicalage tested and I'm 11 years
younger.
Do you understand that thebiggest biohackers in the world
have the same reversal 11 years?
Harvard scientists who studylongevity have the same reversal

(27:26):
of their biological age.
And I haven't done it throughmillions of dollars.
What I've done is I'vereclaimed my energy.
Right, right, that's how I didit.
I faced my traumas head on.
It sucked and it was hard, butit was worth it, because here I
am and I'm younger, feelingyounger.
A spiritual podcast.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
I feel like you really you brought up a good
point of that you, you, you're,you lose where you're going.
I do feel like when our energygets gunked up and then you do

(28:07):
feel like you're losing yourpurpose on your spiritual
mission, and I think, byreclaiming this energy, it's
almost like you become thelighthouse and you know where
you're going.
And I just think that just youjust saying that was like wow,
like it's just wow, and I thinkfor spiritual practitioners one
of the things I know for myselfI'm like why am I here?

(28:30):
What am I supposed to be doing?
Like, do you ever encounterthat with any of your clients,
or does that resonate with youat all?
Of course, yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Yeah.
But here's the thing A lot ofpeople come to me and they want
to be, to have better skills, like, whether it's through
energy healing or a psychic, amedium, and the truth is, again,
it's the same principle.
If you're all gunked up, howare you supposed to get a clear
signal from spirit?
No-transcript, boom, it's donewith that.

(29:27):
And I know that I will be resetin a different way If I have a
really nutritious meal.
I know that that is fueling mybody in a different way.
So it's like we don't alwaysacknowledge the power that these
things have which is why I havethem in the power section is
because, like, even taking awalk is transformative, you know
, and we tend to think, oh well, that's not worth our time, but

(29:49):
guess what the science saysotherwise, like it will help us
live longer, we will be morecreative, we will have better
glucose levels, which underliesmost of our health, which is
something that I recentlylearned, you know, in the last
few years.
Which is why I talked about thepower of glucose management,
because especially right, Isn'tit?

(30:10):
And now they're over thecounter, which is even more
amazing.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Yes, yes, and I feel like you know I'm, I'm, how old
am I?
I'm 47, I think I always forgethow old I am, but I mean that's
something I've looked into,like getting a continuous
glucose monitor and and and it'slike I.
What I also like about the bookis it reinforces other things
that you know educational.
You know doctors, philosophers, are saying like, hey, try this,

(30:37):
see how it works.
Like you shouldn't, like withyour insulin, you shouldn't be
spiking and falling.
Like you should be steady.
You know it is important, solike yeah, this is this.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
So a couple of things I learned as well.
So one is uh, when you'restressed out, your glucose can
go up, just like as if you ate acandy bar, which is if you're
sick, or if you're sick right,or if you have a chronic
infection, so like that's kindof unfair.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yeah, I'm stressed, I need that cookie.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
But yeah, so we didn't even eat the candy bar,
but we got the spike in ourglucose.
So this is why we want to notonly address underlying chronic
issues, but also to addressunderlying chronic stress.
And also the other thing that Ilearned, which I found very
interesting, is that throughmeditation, it drops my glucose

(31:27):
a lot.
So, yeah, so that's whysometimes, when I would do
energy like I used to do fiveenergy healing sessions in a day
, like I don't even know how Iwas able to do that, but after
each one I felt like I was on aroller coaster and I would tell
people that, like I would, Iwould literally drop so low
because of the glucose and thencome back up.

(31:49):
You know, because I would startto go back into daily life and
then my body was like eatsomething sweet every single
time, eat some chips, eat acookie, eat something with honey
in it or whatever.
And that was because I had beenso low.
My brain really needed moreglucose.
So finding out how your body isresponding to things is really

(32:10):
important.
Like I'm, actually, I don'thave less of a glucose spike
from ice cream than I doraspberries, which is never
supposed to happen.
I can't explain it.
I don't know why, but I'mpretty happy about that.
That's interesting.
And sweet potatoes supposedlyeverybody's like.
Oh, sweet potato is so amazingfor you, it spikes me higher
than even if I had a candy baror a cookie.

(32:32):
Yeah, so everybody's body'sdifferent.
I think it should be part ofstandard medicine for us to
monitor our glucose, but notonly that understand that it
could be affecting our anxietyand depression.
It is not talked about enough.
I was absolutely shocked to seethat this is a part of the
whole story with our health, soI included in it because, as

(32:53):
much as people don't want toreally talk about it, it's not
sexy to talk about glucosemanagement.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
It is extremely important to our overall health
Very important and it's also, like you know, for women.
Right now, I feel like I'mbombarded with perimenopause,
menopause things what's truth,what's myth, what's this, what's
that?
And then I'm like, okay, all ofthis is noise and I need to

(33:21):
discern what is true for mycellular body, and so I feel,
like glucose management and thethings that you talk about.
I think you even talked about, like, having intentions on your
food and, like you know, blessing it and you know, and
also like the, the, thenutritional factors in our soil,
going off on a tangent here,but it's it's using non-toxic
products and, you know, using anon-toxic household and all of

(33:43):
it's layers in so much to howour health, mind, body and soul,
like you speak to why it's soimportant to focus in on, like
start, maybe ticking away on oneof these things that you can
focus on and reclaiming thatenergy to be the best version of
yourself.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Yep, and above all else, like you're saying, I want
to see how my body reacts tothings.
Right, like follow your ownintuition, because it may not be
true for you what is true forsomebody else, and that is why
we reclaim this energy, so wecan know what is good for us.
Our intuition becomes availableto us because we're out of that

(34:24):
sympathetic nervous system intothe parasympathetic.
And then the other thing that Ireally stressed throughout the
book, which I hope that youreally enjoyed, was how powerful
our mindset is.
So in the book I bring up manyresearch articles about how
powerful our mind is.
I mean, you guys, it isridiculous, like I was even my.

(34:44):
I know how powerful our mindsare.
I mean, I was able to changethe structure of water with my
mind and energy in a laboratory.
So, like I get it.
I understand how powerful ourmind is.
But reading study after study, and it was like I wanted to keep
going with putting in thestudies and like my editor was
like, aim, that's enough, you'regoing to bore people, and I'm
like, how could this be boring?
Like this is incredible.

(35:05):
So, um, that that is one of myfavorite chapters.
Uh, the mindset effect is whatit's called and overall, the
message that I wanted to send topeople one is to empower them.
That's why I wrote the book Iand give everybody tools, I give
them exercises, I give them theinformation that they need to

(35:25):
know and that if you believesomething is good for you, it is
If you can heartedly mind, bodyand spirit.
If you believe that somethingis good for you, I would argue
that there's a very, very goodchance that it is no matter what

(35:46):
.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Absolutely, absolutely.
And I appreciate that youbrought up mindset because I
have seen people's mindset andaction and healing their bodies.
For example, my stepmother hasstage four breast cancer and she
has had.
Her mindset was I'm going tobeat this faith.
It was faith in her mindset andshe's on, obviously, treatment

(36:10):
plans and things like that.
She has had no evidence ofactive disease for almost two
years.
So you are 100% correct.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
that mindset is again , it comes down to that your
brain is a goal achievingmachine, so I love this goal
achieving machine.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
I want to be a goal achieving machine you are one
you are one.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
We just need to harness the power of that yes,
and that's that's the wholething.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
Is she made a decision, she did she decided
she was like I've got this.
She collapsed once, wallowed inself-pity or anything.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Sorry, but she collapsed other timelines into
the one that she wanted to be in.
Yeah, that's what she did froma quantum physics level.
Yes, but she made a decisionand that's what we say here
Normally.
Normal people say she made adecision and then she stuck with
it.
And then her brain said oh, youwant to do this?
Great, we will help guide you inthat direction and then her

(37:06):
brain and body started to alignwith that reality and it became
her reality very quickly.
Yeah, it is unbelievable howpowerful our minds are and
that's really why a lot of thebook I discussed that, but I
also give EFT, you know Iexplained.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
EFT Tell us a little bit about EFT, yeah sure Really
quickly.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
I know we're already running out of time, but
emotional freedom technique iswhat EFT is.
It's also known as tapping andwhat I just heard from Smear it
helps us tap into anotherreality, which I've never
actually heard them say that, which was that was cool, but it
does.
It helps us to tap into anotherreality.
It helps us to create adifferent reality with our body
so that we respond to the worlddifferently.

(37:48):
Every single time that you tap,you are doing something good
for your body.
You're releasing past trauma, you're releasing blocked energy.
Anytime that your body has achance to communicate better
through the cellularcommunication, the stronger you
become, the more aligned youbecome, the more ability you
have to show up as your trueself and choose the things that

(38:09):
are good for you that resonate.
I mean, I could talk an entirehour or more on EFT, but it is
the technique that I found thatis easily understood, right?
You know you have to practiceit a little bit, not too much,
but it will hit mind, body andspirit, and that is what is
missing in traditional therapyat this point and I talk about

(38:33):
that.
I actually talked about theprogression of therapy
throughout the years and wherewe're going essentially, which
is the practitioners that youthat are listening.
You know they understand thatwe are energetic beings and that
we have this trauma and that weneed a way to release it.
And the combination of speakingabout it right, tapping on the

(38:54):
body, releasing the energy, rewiring the brain, which then
rewires the body and energy itdoes create a new reality.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
How often would you suggest that someone taps or
does a tapping exercise?

Speaker 2 (39:09):
I mean it depends on the person and what they want to
accomplish.
I mean I use, for instance, Iuse it all the time.
But one time I was goingthrough a very stressful event.
My son didn't get off the busand he was five and I was like I
gotta find him.
But I, yeah.
So I got him and I knew he wassafe because he was in my car.
But my body is now hijacked, like all that's going through my

(39:30):
mind and body is I almost lostmy son, right?
So I had to reprogram because Ihad to go to the vet with my
dog and then explain to the vetwhat was wrong with my dog,
cause my dog can't say it.
So I was like I need to getinto my highest level of
thinking so I can explain this.
So as I'm driving, I am tappingand my son is in the back
laughing.
He's like I'm fine, I'm here,I'm like I know, but my brain

(39:53):
and my body are not on the samepage.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Now that you're saying this, it's nose and it
connects our mind and our body.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
So that's why I chose that point, because I knew my
mind understood the details ofthe events.
Like he just didn't get off thebus.
He's now in the car, everythingis fine.
He went to cooking class and,but my body was saying otherwise
, so we have to get that on thesame page.
But anyway, it's a wonderfultechnique to do in the shower.
You know, first thing in themorning when you, after you have

(40:27):
coffee, it could be anemergency situation.
It's called emotional first aid, okay, so like, if somebody
experiences like a reallytraumatic event in front of them
, they often use this as atechnique that they bring in to
those people that haveexperienced that horrible event.
Wow, because it can reprogramthe brain and body.

Speaker 1 (40:51):
What's that?
I need to start tapping.
It's something that I've done,but then I lose it.
Let me be honest with you.
I'm always afraid I'm going tosay the wrong things.
Don't ever be afraid of that.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Okay, first of all, you don't have to do it
perfectly.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
Okay, you don't have to hit the spots in the right
order or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
Oh okay, I definitely recommend hitting the spots if
you can, because there's pointsand they line up with meridians
which hold energy andinformation and emotions that
are stuck.
So try to get to the point.
But ultimately, any amount oftapping is worthwhile tapping
because you're basicallyunclogging a drain.
Every single time that you tap, like you're allowing the energy

(41:33):
to flow a little bit morefreely.
And if you stick with it andyou and this is the difference
between the tapping that I teachin, the tapping that others may
teach is I really want youtuning into where you feel the
energy, acknowledging it andthen speaking about what the
images are that are coming up toyou.
They may not even make sense, but I can guarantee, because the

(41:55):
body keeps the score, thatenergy and information is there
and it is all related and itneeds to come out.
One of my clients called me theonion layer slayer because as we
were talking and tapping, that's what happens the layers
of the onion come off and youcan see the next thing that's
related to the incident.

(42:16):
So I'll give you an example.
Like oh, this is actuallyinsane.
So it's time for me to likerelease the book about two
months ago.
Whatever, I'm like call up myfriend.
I'm like Jen, I really needwork on anything that's holding
me back.
I'm like I don't think there isanything.
I love my book.
Help me out, though, in casethere's something blocking me,

(42:37):
because that's what happens wewill block ourselves sometimes.
We do need assistance, right,so we can work on ourselves, but
also, god had made us want toconnect with others, right, we
all need each other.
That's in Tuesdays with Morrie,so she does something that's
called NET, which is basicallysimilar to.

(42:57):
It's called neuroemotionaltechnique.
It's accessing the brain andthe memories and the body and
the trauma, right?
She's like what happened whenyou were seven years old and I'm
like I don't know.
And then all of a sudden imagepops up and I'm like, oh, oh, my
gosh, why am I standing infront of the class right now and
I feel really embarrassed?
And then I'm like, oh, what'sin my hand?

(43:18):
I had a book and I'm like, jen,you are not going to believe

(43:47):
this, but the last time I wrotea book was in second grade.
I was seven, and I was standingin front of the class and I was
afraid to present, or I was, butfirst of all I was afraid to
present.
But then I presented and thestoryline that I had written
about was about my book and theparallels there were, yeah, that
it was a very intimate storyabout me and what I found very
beautiful and wonderful and myclass did not receive it the
same way that I expected thatthey would, so I was
uncomfortable.
So then we released that traumaand another 40 pages came out
of me more on my personal storyinto the book.
So it's incredible, what willhold us back that we don't know?

(44:09):
That's there, that from thetrauma from the past.
So basically, again, I alsotalk about this in my book.
If you think about back to thefuture, marty's dad goes, or in
Marty goes back in time time andtalks to his dad right, and
changes the trajectory of hisdad's life.
Like we meet his dad in thevery beginning.

(44:29):
He's very, uh, insecure and he'sum he's very meek and mild yeah
, yeah, yeah, and like apushover and all that kind of
stuff.
Anyway, marty goes back, healshis dad, tell him he stands up
to Biff and he suddenly switchestimelines Right and then now
embodies a whole new personalitywhen we see him.
He's written a book, he'shealthy, he's wealthy, his wife

(44:52):
is into him, like even his wifeis doing better.
So this is how, when we go backto the past and we heal it, we
put ourselves in a whole newtimeline and a trajectory for
our lives Like it was laid out,and back to the future, right,
hello, hello.
That's why I mean I love theseven and it's just amazing how
everything works out in life, because I love that movie when I

(45:15):
was five and and and I reallyam actually a time traveler, you
know to understand the power ofgoing to the past to heal the
future.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
essentially, Wow, I love that.
Now, before we ask you the lastquestion, if anyone's
interested in learning moreabout you, where is the best
place for our listeners to go to.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
So Stark Transformation is my website,
but Bridging the Divide is thename of the book, if you're
looking for that.
And then I'm on all socials asstark transformation, so tiktok,
instagram, facebook, um.
And then obviously my name isamy stark, so you can't find
anything, but you can find itthere and also you have a
podcast.

Speaker 1 (45:58):
Can you tell me about your?

Speaker 2 (45:59):
transformation show.
Yeah, so I have 216 episodes,so I talk about more about my
personal uh, and I interviewedtop doctors from around the
world who are friends of mineand why we need to pay attention
to health.
I mean, this book is theculmination of 18 years of,
first of all, an obsession with, like mastering the mind and the

(46:19):
body and the spirit, but itcame from those interviews and
knowing these friends and doingthis research and figuring out
because it can be very confusingthere is a lot of information
out there that is incorrect,overwhelming.
Yeah, and, like I said, Ireversed my biological age by 11
years, not spending millions ofdollars.

(46:41):
So like there are people thatfeel like they need the
hyperbaric chambers, they do.
Like I have an infrared saunaover here.
I use it probably a coupletimes a year.
I have other biohacking tools.
I use them as needed.
I would never say that myhealth is due to that.
Like they are convenient forwhen I need to get well quickly.

Speaker 1 (46:59):
I appreciate you in saying that, because I do find
that there are a lot ofinfluencers that you know.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
They're saying get this, you know 500,000, and
you're like I can't, that's,that's not reality, right listen
, if you can heal your gutbecause most of us have a
screwed up gut balance yourglucose levels which I talk
about in the book if, if you eatnourishing food so it has as
many vitamins as you can get in.

(47:27):
Some of us do need a supplement, like our B vitamins, and
having a good one of those issuper valuable.
I really like Quicksilver, quicksilver Scientific, and
there are small supplements usedas needed kind of situation.
Magnesium is one of them that Idefinitely, especially for

(47:48):
anybody who is an energy healervery sensitive A lot of the
times our energy what kind of?
magnesium, would you recommend?
I use a spray.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
I use a spray too.

Speaker 2 (47:59):
It's way easier to absorb.
But most of the time when weeat our supplements we aren't
absorbing a lot of it, so aspray actually goes just
straight into the skin.
But if you are energeticallysensitive, this will really help
you.
That's why Epsom salt baths arereally helpful.
But if you hear like, if noisesare a problem for you, like

(48:22):
sound sensitivity, magnesiumusually helps that, because the
nervous system is already sofried and like if you have a
picky eater, like there's adeficiency in zinc, so you can
use them supplements like asneeded.
But I don't recommend thatpeople are on a whole stack of
200, you know supplements everyday to get the life and health

(48:44):
that I have now.
It's energy-based.
Energy-based it's your thoughts, but more than anything, it is
your thoughts Absolutely.
It will harm you.
Reclaim that energy.

Speaker 1 (48:55):
Do not self-harm with your thoughts.
That's all I was going to say.
So true, cancel, cancel.
It's like, yeah, your thoughtscreate your reality.
So, finally, what is one smallactual step for our listeners
can take today to begin tobridge their own internal divide
and align with their healingjourney?
Make a decision, yes, ma'am.

Speaker 2 (49:15):
Make the decision that you are going to do, the
thing that you want to do.
You know, I recently heardsomebody talking about imagine
if you're 80 years old andsuddenly get to be you in the
moment, right now aspects andyou'd probably want to more be

(49:45):
like play outside, run a littlebit, maybe even, you know, go
out in nature and experiencewhat life is like as a younger
person.
We get too far into our headand stress too much and miss the
present moment, which is whereeverything happens.

Speaker 1 (50:03):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
