Some call the True Self, theauthentic self, your self in
God, your soul, or the I am ofwho you are.
It's the divine essence withinyou, the core of you that's
whole, loved, and deeplyconnected to God.
It's the eternal part ofourselves that always exists.
(01:17):
Your True Self is free from themasks that we pick up and often
wear in daily life.
You might call it your mostauthentic self.
The part of you that's full ofwisdom, peace, and love.
And the True Self has an innervoice of love.
Your Inner Teacher; that ifwe're able to quiet ourselves,
(01:41):
we can listen and hear it.
Today's guided meditation willhelp you discover and embrace
this sacred part of you.
Your True Self.
So let's begin.
Take a moment to find a cozyspot where you can be alone and
(02:04):
uninterrupted.
Get into a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and take a fewdeep cleansing breaths.
Breathe in and breathe out.
(02:25):
Breathe in and breathe out.
Know that this breath that flowswithin you is the Spirit of God,
the pneuma, the breath of God,flowing within you from the
moment you were born until youleave this world and enter the
(02:46):
other side.
As you experience your breath, feel yourself settling into this
moment.
There's nothing you need doright now.
Just be.
(03:06):
Now imagine In your mind's eye, that you're walking along a
gentle path, a pathway through apeaceful forest.
Imagine the sunlight filtersthrough the trees.
Notice the air is fresh andcrisp against your skin.
(03:32):
You hear the soft rustling ofleaves and the distant song of
birds.
As you're walking, you notice abeautiful clearing ahead where a
small bench sits behind a quietstream.
(03:52):
In your imagination, take a seaton the bench and feel the gentle
warmth of the sun on your face.
This is your sacred space, aplace within you where you can
meet your True Self.
(04:13):
As you sit there near thestream, resting on the bench,
notice your True Self appears toyou.
Imagine what your True Selflooks like.
What's the expression on yourTrue Self's face?

before you?

image of your radiant soul.
Your True Self might besomething that is uniquely
(05:19):
symbolic, like a warm light, atree deeply rooted in the earth.
Or serene figure that appearsthere within you as your True
Self in your imagination.
(05:45):

resonates most deeply withinyou.

(06:05):
kindness.
You might softly whispersomething to your True Self.
