WHO IS MARK HARDER?
Mark Harder has been serving as the St. Louis County Councilman for District 7 since 2015. His district encompasses areas such as Ballwin, Chesterfield, Ellisville, and Wildwood. Before joining the County Council, Harder was a member of the Ballwin Board of Aldermen, where he gained valuable experience in local governance. He is a Republican and has been actively involved in addressing various issues, including public safety, education, and fiscal responsibility. Harder is known for his commitment to community engagement and his efforts to ensure transparency in government operations.
In addition to his political career, Harder has a professional background in real estate and business management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Political Science from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. Harder has also been vocal about his stance on key issues, such as supporting law enforcement and advocating for responsible budgeting. His leadership has been instrumental in navigating challenges within the County Council, including the fallout from former County Executive Steve Stenger’s corruption charge.
