We talked with Capt. Scott Stone, an infantry officer with the Connecticut National Guard's 1-102nd Infantry Regiment, and a member of the U.S. Army's 2023 Edelweiss Raid, the "unofficial" world military mountaineering competition in Austria. Capt. Stone discusses his journey from getting selected for his first Edelweiss Raid in 2019 to overcoming the challenges of preparing for an extreme alpine sport in a state with little more than small bumps we call mountains.

The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
