Here We Are: Re-recording the Podcast Episode I admit, I messed up. Whoops. Moving on. Despite my mistake, I'm grateful for having re-watched this episode, mainly because of Hayden Christensen's reprisal as Anakin. I mentioned during the episode and will reiterate here: my man still has the moves. It didn't look like they used a stunt double at all! Comparing Christensen's performance to Ewan McGregor's, there's a noticeable difference. Granted, there's an age gap between the two. However, McGregor looked tired on screen, while Christensen, despite Anakin being dead, looked alive and energetic in his portrayal. Unfortunately, while his performance stood out, young Ahsoka's did not. Nothing against Arianna Greenblatt—she was great as Sasha in the Barbie movie. While she kind of acts like a brat in this episode, it's more likely a reaction to the dialogue she's given. Christensen also struggled with some of the poorly written lines. For many, Star Wars is the only film they've seen him in, and his delivery of George Lucas's lines didn't always help. This episode was alright. Not great, not terrible. If it wasn't obvious that the star whales would be used to jump to hyperspace to follow Morgan and her goons to Peridea, then you must have been watching a different show.
