What are you doing to themicrophone?
What?

Speaker 2 (00:18):

This is just weird.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
I just didn't Ignore us.
I can't ignore you.
You're doing things you don't?
Such a banger love it howdystar warriors.

(00:50):
Welcome to star wars safe space, your non-toxic, low sodium
star wars show.
That doesn't make you feel badfor not knowing that yoda was
based on shimada, the leadsamurai from the 1954 akira
kurosawa film, the Seven Samurai, my absolute favorite Akira
Kurosawa film.
And of course, george wasinspired by lots of Akira
Kurosawa stuff.

(01:11):
All of it, all of it, yeah, basically.
So, whether you're a hardcorefan or just a little swarzy
curious, this is your Star Warssafe space.
And of course, we are theCircle of Nerds and we do
absolutely love Star wars, evenwhen we don't always like it and
this week louie didn't alwayslike it, so we'll find out.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
It was fine, it was okay, it was all right so let's
meet the cast and crew, shall we?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
to my left, your right star of stage and screen.
It is a sensational sherry andhailing from parts unknown.
It is T to the Oni, welcomeback to the galaxy.
Or Jedi Master Baloney.
It's just because you'rewearing the robe and baloney

(01:56):
rhymes with Tony.
I really have no othercreativity beyond that.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Really bad.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Phony no Jedi Master Phony no.
I think that sounds a littlebetter than below, than baloney
I don't know baloney's prettygood, but if it's, but if it's
in the star wars universe, itwould be ba apostrophe, loanie
right.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
So jedi master ba yeah, yeah, yeah, weird symbols,
yeah sure ba.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
So actually you know what you?
You could be Jedi master Loney, right Like Loney's fine Loney,
but your first name would be Bah, like B?
A, and then Loney, like Obi-Wan, kenobi, obi-wan Like Obi
Obi-Wan, and then last nameKenobi, but you would just be Ba

(02:45):
Loney not Ba hyphen Loney no,just Ba like your first name
would be Ba, so you would beMaster Loney, but your friends
would call you Ba and your momwould call you Ba Loney which is
a matter of me at least, to usemy full name.
Ba Loney.
Yeah, when she's using yourfull government name at that

(03:06):
point.
So Baloney Republican name, baloney the Republican name are
separate or whatever the fuck.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
I don't know.
That's the government name.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Well, whoever's, whoever's in the government at
that time, I suppose separatist,imperial, I don't know whoever
gives you your government if itwas the empire.
You'd just be dead, let's moveon.
You'd be dead baloney, he'd befried.
Fried baloney.
Oh, where's the no?
Well, yeah, we'll give you thatone too.
We'll give you the applause.

(03:36):
I don't know, I can't find myrim shot there.
It is there.
There we go.
Fried bologna Fried bologna,All over you.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I don't like it's soft, we're being thrown into a
volcano, that's all.
Oh yeah, wall of remembrance,yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Wall of remembrance.
But fried bologna is delicious.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
It is so, you're fine .
I've heard you are delicious, all right, that's what they say
All right, that's what they say.
Maybe it's official now You'vebeen Tobied, you are no longer T
to the Oni, you are now JediMaster Baloney.
No, absolutely not.
I don't know.
I say we take a vote.
What do you?

Speaker 4 (04:17):
think about it, Tony.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
I think we can do better, but that's okay.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Fair enough Until we do better.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
you're Jedi, master, loneyi all right, master loni's
fine master loni don't put thebot in front of it can we just
call him bother no, that's no.
What about bull?
Sound like goats?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
hey, master, but you could say bah, I could say bah
and ba-ba, and it would beba-ba-ba, ba-ba.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
What about bol Like Master Bol?
What Like B-O-L?

Speaker 4 (04:52):
How about?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Asian.
I mean just no, no, no.
So, like it would be MasterBa-Asian, he would be Boloni.
So it's still.
You know, instead of Baloniit's Boloni, Baligna, balagna,
okay, no.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Now we're just going along.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
All right, all right, so anyway.
So what are we doing?
Oh, what's your name?
Yeah, I forgot.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Tilden.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
High Danny Louie Yep, here we are From the Outer Rim
Territory of Moff Dween.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
It's been a long couple days.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
It's been a long couple days, so, uh, even though
today is the only day we'vebeen shooting just for this
episode, right here, right nowright now.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Yes, yes, yes.
It's been a week since I'veseen you.
How are?
You, I'm doing very well andyou, sir, good okay, it's been,
uh, it's been an interestingweek for sure?

Speaker 1 (05:38):
yeah, how?
So tell us.
Well, I don't know.
All right, let's just go movingon.
So what are we doing here?
Well, it is very simple.
We are on a mission to watchall of the canon star wars tv
shows and films, in mostlychronological order.
Uh, lord and savior, davewilling, praise dave, praise,

(05:59):
praise dave.
So, uh, and to that end, thisweek we are watching the final
three episodes of what has sofar been the very best season of
star wars, the clone wars.
So season one and two were good, they were okay, they were good
, worth watching.
But season three is just, uh,man blowing the doors off.

(06:22):
Yeah, pretty much blowing thedoors off.
So we are pretty much Blowingthe doors off.
So we are.
You said no news, right?
No news, no, nothing.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Nothing.
No, no.
Okay, I think I kind of likeswept all the news.
Not a lot of news going onright now.
No, nothing happening until.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Holiday specials come and gone right.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
I guess we're right around the holiday special.
We'll right around it.
You can watch the holidayspecial.
We can still watch it.
Christmas of course 1225.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Both Hanukkah and Kwanzaa falling on 1226.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
So happy holidays to everybody out there, happy
holidays.
Whatever it is that you do, behappy, be safe, all that fun
stuff.
So we'll get into it.
We're wrapping up the citadelrescue.
Um, yeah, there was, uh, therewasn't a whole lot.
I mean it was a pretty excitingepisode.
I mean that rescue it kind offelt like, uh, like old school,

(07:17):
like vietnam war movies, when, like, the helicopter comes down
to pick them up, they're beingtheir positions being overrun
and they're being, they're beingtaken out it's in the middle of
the volcano instead of outsidethe volcano.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
I for the pickup I did feel that the uh the
rendezvous point was maybepoorly chosen because they had
to go down, to even get to itlike, why wouldn't you just go
up?
Yeah, so I don't know that wasa little silly, but I I see why
they did it, I guess.
Well, it's for the it made it.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
It made it exciting.
It made it exciting.
And when they were, when theywere going across on the line, I
thought, for sure that wasgoing to be a wrap on somebody,
like someone was going to getlike knocked off that wire and
go into the lava, but theydidn't, they didn't.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
So we have any wall of remembrance we do, we do.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Unfortunately, we've got, uh, we've got two, two
valiant, brave clones who fellduring the descent, so and we're
calling them fall guy and shortstop.
So, um, no, there it is, yeah,it's uh.
So fall guy, obviously as areference to, you know, stunt

(08:29):
men and the fall guy, and he's aguy who fell, yeah and then
shortstop because it was a longdrop and a short stop yeah, so,
um, where is that do I have?
where is it?
No, no, there it is.
Next season I'll have all ofthese labeled.
No, you won't Probably not.

(08:50):
You said that three seasons ago.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
I said that four years ago.
I don't.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
You're not wrong On our old shows, you're not wrong.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
Go back and watch those two.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
We also lost Long John's.
He passed away too because hewas a clone trooper who was just
wearing his undersuit.
So I'm calling him Long John'sbecause I thought they had
imperial suits on.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
No, that was.
That was paper pusher body suit.
He had the body suit but paperpusher.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
He was one of the Navy, the naval troopers, so he
was wearing his naval suit.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
So we're gonna call him paper pusher, because that's
mostly what he did.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Well, that's right.
I'm just saying he's an officer.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
He still died for his country, for his or for his you
know, whatever, yeah, his hisrepublic.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
He died for the republic.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Yes, that was probably paying for, like his
college, and that's the onlyreason that he like I did it
yeah and um, just trying to gethis education and and he had to
go on that mission that's how hewas on the show.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
And then, uh, we've got uh general.
Uh, what's his name?
Earl earl, earl williams, whatwas his name?
Lore master general, what ornot?
The, the jedi peely, pelly, pelly general, earl pelly, was
it pelly?

Speaker 4 (10:08):
or peel.
I thought peel peel yeah that's, I think you're right, was it?
What was his first name?
Was it earl?

Speaker 1 (10:14):
why would his first name be?

Speaker 3 (10:16):
earl I think it was just, he was kind of a badass.
Though he was kind of a badass,he kicked it up before he he
did, he fucked shit up.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
I mean he ran under that one crab droid and it was
like real slow all the wayacross it.
That was cool and uh, but he got, he got taken out by a naboo
dog or whatever it was the doganubis, anubis, the the anubi,
anubi, anubi yeah so bid him, shook him around a little bit
like a little rag doll, and then, uh, ahsoka came in and saved

(10:48):
the day just briefly yeahcrushed that's what happened so
then we got to see a little, youknow, on the spot, impromptu
jedi funeral.
They wrapped him up insomething I don't know, I guess
his own cloak, maybe.
Oh, maybe for his own robe, orI, I don't know.
They found some kind of burialshroud somewhere along the way.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
No it was probably his cloak.
Oh Plus oh, plus One more.
Uh-oh, you got one more.
No, no.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Okay, that's it.
You got it All right.
That was a lot Under control.
Well done, well done.
So they used the force to layhim gently like a Viking burial.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
And then his cloak magically kept him from melting
into the lava as he flowed.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
He just got to float the river of lava.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Maybe it's bioluminescent and maybe it's
just warm.
No, no.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Maybe it's not lava at all.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Maybe it's just a bioluminescent hot spring, which
is why he was floating.
Maybe it has a high sodiumcontent which caused him to flow
the vibe I guess, okay, theyjust wanted to show him floating
down like a viking.
I didn't care for that vibe Ididn't care for that vibe too
much.
And then because now, when it'stime to go to the extraction
point, they why didn't they usethe force to send everybody over

(12:02):
?
Instead, they got to shootacross their little ascension
lines and precariously tightrope, crawl across the lava.
It's inches above the lava, bythe way for the action.
Okay, everybody could have justbeen like you know, and that's
good, that could still be actionpacked.
While I'm floating you acrossusing the force, the droids come
in on the steps, shoot at me.

(12:23):
Then I'm like, oh, I lose my,my force ability real quick, or
I lose my connection.
And then it's like, oh, andthen someone else has to dive
through and be like, oh, I grabhim with the force quick, and
then so there's still action.
That's how you would direct it.
That's exactly how.
That's why you're not directingsoka would have been moving,
would have been moving one ofthe clone troopers across using
the force.
A stat would have come flyingin pew pew pew.

(12:46):
She would have been distracted, thus breaking her, her contact
with that person.
And of course you know theforce fails her in that moment.
And then anakin has to run andjump and reach out with the
force.
Last minute got him push himacross those sounds, those
special effects are did you feelthat?

Speaker 4 (13:05):
I felt it, yeah, I felt that felt it right in my
nuggets me too so anyway.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
So I don't know that was moving forward moving
forward, so I thought that was agreat episode, and then the
extraction out was pretty cool, yeah, so there really wasn't
what no, I'm just saying itmight remind me of, like the
vietnam movies and, yeah, swooping trying to get out,
trying to get out yeah, therewasn't any way.
Oh, I'm just saying it mightremind me of, like the Vietnam
movies and, yeah, swoopingtrying to get out, trying to get
out.
Yeah, there wasn't really muchelse to to go on with this
episode, except maybe the whatare we thinking here?

(13:34):
Rivalry or budding bromancebetween Anakin and Tarkin?
What are our thoughts?

Speaker 3 (13:42):
I think, like I think it's gonna, I, what are our
thoughts?
I think, like I think it'sgonna.
I mean, it almost looks like,uh, like a respect thing, you
know, like one is trying to,like you know, puff out his
chest and the other one puffsout their chest and they both
kind of neither one of themlikes that the other one's
puffing out their chest, butthey recognize the puff, okay,
okay.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Because, like when they mentioned, you know, you
know, I have the flavor of thefree-brewed chancel and he's
like yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
And.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Anakin's like so do I and really Really so it's like
were they.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
They had a little bit of a measuring cup.
Were they measuring?
Yeah, Were they measuring?

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Oh they were yeah or was there, you know, like you
said, was that respect startingto develop between the two.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Yeah, I think it started one way and ended more
with the respect.
I think at first it was youknow which one of our dicks
bigger.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Right, but they both ended up mutually respecting
each other.
It seemed, yes, anakin, maybe alittle bit more than he should
have, because he's just still animpressionable youngster.
Other, it seemed, anakin, maybea little bit more than he
should have, because he's juststill an impressionable
youngster, and obi-wan wasn'tfeeling that.
No, sherry, okay, you feel likehe looks like you got something
to say over there no, I justit's yeah it's yeah, it's, yeah,
no, I I don't know.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
I just felt like um tarkin was like pushing the
limits with a general.
I don't care that you don'tlike the jedi, but sure it was.
I thought he was prettydisrespectful.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
To be honest, I'm surprised anakin didn't choke
him out right there well, he'snot allowed to do that and
obi-wan is there to keep him incheck.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
No, I if obi-wan wasn't there I think there would
.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
I don't know, I don't know, but yeah, that's my.
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
All right, but maybe poppy told him keep an eye on my
boy that's possible he's gotthe ear of the chancellor right,
and he did say that he wasgonna he was.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Why would a captain?

Speaker 1 (15:36):
have an ear of the chancellor.
He's gotten in his favor insome way because he, he becomes
a governor or he, he is agovernor now.
Maybe I can't remember, but Iknow he is a governor at one
point.
Okay, um, and he's also a grandmoff, so he is like the top of
the naval food chain but.

(15:57):
I believe he's also a governorof worlds, so he's he's got
quite a bit of power and I don'tknow at this time I don't know
exactly where he's at.
There's.
There are some cool stories inin the comics about um him going
to like formal, like dinnersand receptions, and things like
this on alderaan and um leia notbeing found fond of him, yeah,

(16:24):
and pulling pranks on him whenshe was a little girl.
So there was.
There was one comic where itkind of shows she like ends up
dumping something on him, something I can't remember if it
was like so she didn't like himfrom the jump.
No, no, no, no, no, that was herforce.
And so she, uh, she kind of,yeah, she did some pranks and he

(16:44):
was not happy about thatbecause she kind of made him
look like a fool in front of allthese important diplomats, of
people.
So when he finally did get theopportunity to sign her
execution order, I'm sure he wasquite, quite delighted in that.
So, okay, it was interesting.
That was a nice little arc.
I thought, you know, justseeing, you know seeing a young

(17:08):
ish tarkin, and uh, the firstmeeting between him and anakin.
So you know, of course we'llsee more of that.
And then, moving on to, uh,padawan lost and wookie hunt,
that, that Louie was just likeugh at first that's fine, but at
the end of it he was like, oh,look at Yoda.
Oh, yay, look at Yoda's little.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Put them all in smileys and whatever I just
think it's cool that Yoda likeis I don't know?
Like I just feel like everybodyon the council just dumps on
anakin but yoda never does.
And I just like in that moment, you know, he sees him in a soak
and he's like, yeah, I made theright decision.
Like he's happy that obviouslyhe doesn't, he can't foresee

(17:53):
everything that's about tohappen.
Right in that moment, you justsee, yeah, he's kind of like
finally, and then they walked it, walk away together.
I like the ending, but the wholechewbacca thing, like he added,
there was no value.
He added no value to theseepisodes whatsoever.
They could have replaced himwith any wookie and it would
have been well it could havebeen any, any character.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
I know you have to be a wookie.
It could have been anybody, anybody, but it was a.
You know, it was a bone thrownto the fans.
I mean it was something youknow.
Let's throw chili in there, whynot?
But then what does that sayabout chewbacca?
Because, like so, then we don'tneed any of them.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
I would rather see like so in live action we also
see another wookiee that I meanthe only two wookies that we
really see in live action thatare worth.
Crap is chewbacca and thentarful, yeah and uh, uh, revenge
of the sith chewbacca's entirefucking family in the holiday
special.
The only person that we know isno, all his family members had

(18:44):
names okay, but they're notcanon.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
It's part of the holiday special, so I would like
to think that it's not canonit's not so, so why wouldn't?

Speaker 3 (18:53):
it would have been cooler to have like tarful in
there and give us some tarfuland not chewbacca, okay that's
fair.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
I think it's just a fan thing A little fan service
they needed to put that inEspecially after the heavy
season.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
I guess it's fine, that's true.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Just wasn't doing it for you.
It was a good growth episodefor Ahsoka, a really good growth
episode for her andoka, areally good growth episode for
her and for Anakin At the end, because he, of course, we saw he
was beating the shit out ofhimself.
I should have done more, Icould have done more, I didn't
do this, I didn't do that andshe was the one that had to
bring him back, because he'sjust always feeling guilty.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Again.
That's probably why Yoda wassmiling.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Because that's probably why yoda was smiling,
because that's the balance, because now the student is able
to help teach the mastersomething.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
It's not even about a student or master, it's just.
There's the balance.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
She's there to balance him out well, but I
think, but I think it is thattoo, I mean because she no, I
know we can learn from ourstudents, you know it's no, I
know, but I'm just saying thankyou but I thought that was great
.
And when she said you know, Isurvived because of what you
taught me, so it's not what youdidn't do so that should have
right there ended his feeling ofoh shit, yeah, but no, because

(20:08):
he's emo because he's becausehe's, he's emo, he's emo.
It's so bad.
The death of his mother justcontinues to haunt him and weigh
on him so heavily and he can'tescape it okay with it.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
So I mean, yeah, I guess he's a little ebo I guess,
but I did, like the, the nod toindiana jones crystal skull,
that was the crystal skull inthere.
That was hilarious.
That was cool, even though thatmovie's.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
But it was.
It was a temple of doom.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
I like all of them, I just thought that was a fun
movie, but but yeah, I thoughtthat was a cute.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
I like the little nods to other movies he just
won't shut up about, aboutIndiana Jones.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
Now, like we can't yeah, but you didn't have to
bring up temple of doom we likeit and he doesn't, it's okay,
but it's the best.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
It's the best of them , but anyway.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
It's the melting faces my favorite.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
So I like seeing this .
I do agree with you.
I do think that, like Chewbacca, not necessary Fan service, for
sure.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Again, I think what you said is correct.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
It was so heavy, yeah , so many people died, we
learned so much, and so thenthey were like we need to do a
scooby-doo ending because, Imean, that's exactly what this
was and I could totally see themhaving pre-planned it to be a
different episode that ends it,and they were like we need to
put something in there andbefore we end this, because that
we don't want to end it thatway.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Right, so it's possible that they did it wasn't
a scooby-doo ending for khalifa, I don't mean around.
She took one to the chest andmia khalifa takes a lot to the
chest it was still a lot less, alot less yes than all the other
.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
That's true that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
I mean, yes, she died , but I mean I and can we, can
we please encourage chewbacca tostop getting captured?
I don't know how he getshimself, because he's captured
here and this is years and yearsand years before his capture by
the empire, and han solo has torescue him, which is how he
gets the life debt with solo.

(22:18):
So now he has a life debt withAhsoka.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
So how's that going to roll out?
I wonder if they're going tokeep doing anything with that.
You guys have seen well, you'veseen all of the series so far,
so I'm curious to see if he's Iam too In there, because that
would.
I don't know that might thatone might be pushing it.
Yeah, like him, have a lifedebt to her now.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Yeah, I'm like they didn't really play on that,
though, because he just was likeall right, see you later.
Thanks, that's true.

Speaker 4 (22:46):
And they dipped out.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Okay, so maybe that's not, so maybe it's not a full
life debt.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
I mean, I feel like that's a first saves chewbacca.
Chewbacca is not all likeimmediately, like, oh, I'm gonna
protect you forever right, theystill butt heads a lot early on
and then eventually.
Okay, you know he realizes that.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Yeah, you know but han saves him a couple times
right, so that had to happen.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
He saved Chewie a couple times, but at first
Chewie was still hesitant.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
I think Chewie just needs to stay at home.
I mean just chill, Just be athome with the wife and the kids.
What's her name?
Nala?
Is that his wife, Nala?
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
He likes adventure.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Okay, but he's got responsibilities at home,
apparently not.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
I?
He's got responsibilities athome?
Apparently not.
I guess he's out there makingthat money.
He's making that money.
Well, I don't know about money, but maybe they do.
All right is forever gettingcaptures as well, so I don't
know.
Or lose, or losing his cargobecause he has to dump it well,
I mean even he gets boardedsometimes.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
I mean he said so himself, I mean sometimes that
sort of thing happens.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
So I just think these were filler, like a little bit
of, uh, good feeling fillers.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Yeah, I'm not saying things didn't die or people
didn't die, but nothing reallyhappened in this episode that I
can see having any implicationsin future like, if you didn't
watch it, it's fine yeah mala.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Mala is chewbacca's wife's, so mean her name is mean
okay.
Well, I mean, you know she's awookiee wife, probably like I
wouldn't fuck with a woman, soshe probably told him to get the
fuck out and go do someadventuring right, we need money
.
We need money.
Baka, go get it the fuck andfind someone else.

(24:37):
That Han Solo guy is a badinfluence.
Actually, no, not really, chewie is a great influence on
Han.
Yeah, I think he probably keepsHan out of more trouble than
Han gets Chewie into, probably.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
And again, this is how you know that he doesn't
like kids, because why are youstealing younglings?

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Star Wars hates children.

Speaker 4 (24:59):
Not even Padawan.
At least Padawan are a littlemore experienced.
You're just straight up takingbabies.
Yeah, like those kids were what10?

Speaker 1 (25:07):
They were in their teens, no those kids were 10, 11
?
No, maybe when they got caught, but by the time Ahsoka gets
there they're like the same ageas Ahsoka-ish.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
I don't think so.
I think they were younger.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Maybe a little younger?
I think so.
So then that questions how longhad they been there?
He just said, a few rotationshe said more rotations than I
can count, but I don't know what.
So how long?
I mean?
Were they there years?
What is a rotation?
Whatever that planet is,whatever that planetary rotation
is, so it's different.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
Oh, with light and sun.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Okay, right, so it's just like our rotation is 24
hours, but there's who knows, yeah, it could be, you know, a
week or few there's.
Yeah, I mean, depending ontheir, their orbit and all that
crap.
So who knows?
So I don't know, I don't know.
But I did, I really like, Ilike the end of this better than
anything else.
I liked Ahsoka kind of talking, almost mentoring Anakin at this

(26:01):
point, you know, and I reallylike that and like their little
bow to each other.
And then, of course, that's whenWell, that's her growth, that
is her growth, his too, his too,but it's just not working.
It's not working, it's just notworking.
He just cannot, cannot get ridof that, that obsession in his
heart to save everyone.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
Even plocoon said we have to leave her.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
And plocoon found her and probably, and mentors her
still.
Found her at the age of threeand mentors her still, and he
was still able to.
Not that he doesn't care, ofcourse he cares he understands,
he loves his little soca, but helittle so little, so that is
cute, right but he understandsthat this is part of being a
jedi, being a jet.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
That's it let her go on her own.
If you did shit right, she'llbe fine, she'll find her way
back to you right?
That's the way parents think ofkids, like if you did your job
right, they'll end up comingback or doing whatever they need
to do.
That's exactly what happened.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
So I'm glad that it turned out the way that it did,
um, and yoda did as well.
So we are all done with seasonthree, yeah, and we've got
season four on deck for us in acouple of weeks.
So we're gonna take two weeksoff just to kind of rest and
recuperate.
You know, enjoy the holidays, all that good, fun, stuff, um,

(27:17):
and then we're gonna be backwith season four.
Do we know, like do you guysknow anything about season four?
Good, I have no idea.
Good, so any predictions orthings that you would like to
see in season four?
We're gonna start with you, daddy louie.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
Um, I think probably the thing I would like to see
the most is, uh, more from thesavage oppressed storyline, more
with the night sisters andobviously now mall, like that
was a pretty big shocker, um,and then I mean that's probably

(28:02):
the big one, but I'd like toknow more about this brother,
sister, father thing.
But I I have a feeling we'renot going to touch on that, for
a lot longer so yeah, Idefinitely.
I think the savaggio pressstuff that was probably the more
the my favorite part of thisseason.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Okay and that was more of that.
That was really cool too.
Yeah, I like that.
I agree.
I agree, tony.
What are you, what are youlooking forward to for season
four, or what's your what's yourseason four wish list?

Speaker 2 (28:29):
um, I would like to see hondo again.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for this wholeseason without, uh, without
getting him him our favoritescoundrel other than that I feel
like this season, you know, especially towards the end here
we got into some kind of extremestory line and it took away

(28:54):
from, to my mind, some of themore interpersonal dynamics,
which is one of the things Ireally enjoy about it.
So that's one thing I'd like toget back to a little bit more.
It's a little more grounded, basic stuff where we can
actually see some of thatinterplay at work.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
Okay, what about you, sherry?
I'd like to see Anakin andAhsoka's progression.
That's fun for me I likewatching their dynamics, so just
you know.
And then seeing Anakin kind ofgo closer and closer.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Are you enjoying watching him fall to the dark
side like one episode at a time.
He's just like slowly fallingto the dark side.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
Yeah, I mean, I'm not like ha ha, I know what you
mean.
No, I just think it'sinteresting to watch the fall.
The progression, because I mean, as far as you know, you know
you've, you started out withstraight up darth vader yeah,
and I and him and padme to behonest, I'd like to see more of
that because obviously, as hegoes down, you know they have to

(30:00):
get closer obviously yeah um,you know, to to have the kids
and I I imagine that at somepoint, like you know she's, she
was.
We already know that, not evenat some point, but we know that
she's very much like his anchorto the light side, you know I,
sometimes I I think more soahsoka really, because that's

(30:23):
okay, not that he doesn't, Imean, obviously he loves, of
course he loves padme, but um, Ithink ahsoka was the anchor and
then I, you know, I know someof the story, so so I think that
pushed him over as well okay, well, that's interesting she was
.
She was more of the anchor, well, like that whole story with

(30:45):
the father-daughter.
You know what I mean.
So I think they should havestayed together, not as a couple
, but as a mentor mentee.
Or just become friends, justlike him and Obi-Wan, I think,
for her.
If he would have stayed withher as that power jedi couple,

(31:09):
um, I think he wouldn't havefell to the other side and he'd
still be able to love padme yeah, the way he did and maybe raise
his kids and but have ahsokathere as ahsoka to help ahsoka,
that is anti-soca, anti, antisoca, that is Antisoca,
antisoca.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
That is heartbreaking to even consider.
That is heartbreaking.
And you've got Uncle Obi comingover, yeah, talking about that
one time where your dad pulledme out of this nest of Gundarks,
and you know, like all thesestories, that they could be
telling little Luke and Leia.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
Off of one decision.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Off of one decision.
Off of one decision that wasmade with just the not even his
heart, but the pain in his heart.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Well, Ahsoka's decisions too.
Well, of course, yeah, so shehad to make some heart-wrenching
decisions as well, for her ownsanity.
Yeah, that course yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
So she had to make some heart-wrenching decisions
as well For her own sanity.
Yeah, that is very true.
But all of this just reallyeverything, does stem from
Anakin's guilt about his mom.
It really does.
I mean, this boy's got mommyissues Big time, big time and
man does fucking Palpatine playhim.
I mean he really pulls on thiskid and the Jedi don't do

(32:29):
anything to help and it's reallysad.
So I don't know we'll see we'llsee.
I've seen season four, but Ihaven't seen it since it came
out, so I've forgotten all ofseason four.
Okay, cool, so this is gonna befresh for me.
I, I want to see more clonetrooper stuff.
Okay, um, I'm looking forwardto rewatching um, the Umbara arc

(32:53):
, and I don't remember whatseason that's in.
Okay, um, I know it's later inthe series, so I don't know if
we're getting it now or maybe infive, but um, we've got the uh
now, or maybe in five, but um,we've got the uh.
What is it?
The lost episodes.
But I think the lost episodesended up getting turned into
season seven, I think.
Is that correct?
yeah, oh, I didn't know yeah, sowe're gonna go, because season

(33:14):
six was like the last, it wassupposed to be done, yeah, with
season six, but there were someepisodes that they had never
aired during towards the end ofthe show.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
So when disney bought it, when disney bought star
wars, they did a few moreepisodes and then took the last
episodes and made season sevenoh, there was a big online
movement too.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
It was save the clone wars.
Oh, that's funny.
Yeah, it's because they wanted.
They thought that the clonewars would be done after the
disney buyout, um, and all theselost episodes would never come
to light.
So well, the fans, the fans, the fans spoke okay, I don't
think disney was going to do it.
Oh, okay, but the fans, thefans spoke.

(34:01):
And then.
So here we are with sevenseasons, which is really good.
So so yeah, I like, I like theclone stuff, I I like all of the
, uh, the underworld stuff.
I like seeing the bountyhunters, I like seeing the
smugglers and you know thestories about the other people
that are out there, you know, inthe galaxy just kind of like,

(34:23):
yeah, making their way downtownwalking fast yeah a bar is
season four, oh, so when we,when we put together the um our,
our road map for season four,we need to make sure that we've

(34:52):
got the Umbara arc in oneepisode of our show.
Like you know, obviously, theway that we have everything
mapped out Now we usually, youknow, sometimes our arcs are
split up.
So but we're going to make surethat the Umbara arc is in one
one of our shows.
You'll have to map it out, I'llmap it out, but I'll I'll start
with that episode and then I'lljust go back from it or that,
that arc it is.
I'm telling you now it isbrutal, but damn is it not.

(35:17):
don't tell us good storytelling, don't say nothing it's great
television it's, and I'm so gladthat we're watching it this way
, like just watching it, youknow, and we don't have to wait
an entire summer for new seasonsto come out or whatever.
We're just watching it likethis, back to back to back,
because, man, are we going to beconnected to these characters?
It's going to be like watchinggame of Thrones and star Wars

(35:39):
I'm just putting that out thereright now.
It's like we know who has plotarmor, but it's still not going
to matter.
We, we know who has plot armor, but it's still not going to
matter.
We're going to be like oh,you're my boy blue.
Oh, my God, miss you, buddy.
Okay, sorry, I'm sorry.
I'm not going to say anything.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
That's it.
I love blue.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Zip lock key in pocket.
Done Um.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
KY part.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
KY pool party.
Kyy pool party.
Kyy pool party, yeah, bluethat's.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Oh yeah, that's right from uh old school.
Yep, it appears to be episodeseven, eight and nine, so you'll
have to work one, two three, four, five, six, seven, what is
it?
Seven, nine, nine so you'd haveto go three, three yeah to do
the first three, the, the secondthree and then those four.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
Maybe it's all the pizza I ate, or remembering that
story, I can't remember.
My heart hurts right now.
Don't overhype it.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
Are you sure?

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Man, no, I'm good, no , I keyed.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
This is one of those things that somewhat got spoiled
for me and even I don'tremember, like I've only seen
the thing, the little bits ofspoilers, whatnot, not the whole
thing.
And yeah, I'm hurting too, it'snot all right, so that's it.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
We're gonna wrap.
I don't know if we haveanything else to talk about.

Speaker 4 (37:00):
No, I think we're good, I mean, this is, we got a
pimp pimp it out.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
We got a pimp.
I thought you said we had apimp.
Where is he?
I didn't.
I'm not the pimp, I'm not theAll right, so You're the pimp in
Star.
Wars.
