It's fine More Ryloth ale.
Thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
So what are we doing here?
Well, it is our mission towatch all of the canon Star Wars
TV shows and films in semichronological order.
However, our lord and savior, dave Filoni, is not making that
easy for us at all.
So, dave, please, next time youdo a show, we do love you so
much, but man that's jumpingaround is killing us all.

(03:28):
Hail, dave, killing us.
So you, alright, you alright, Idon't know.
I heard someone, someone waslike anyway.
So a word of warning there willbe spoilers.
So if you, if you haven'twatched what we've watched, uh,

(03:48):
just please be aware that therewill be some spoilers.
So, uh, we are gonna move onand talk about episodes 9
through 12, but first the news.
Okay, that's enough.
That's all you got, what yougot for us.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
So I'm finding everything crazy.
So I thought we would talkabout some birthdays coming up
in the month of December forStar Wars, because there's a
couple big ones.
So, of course, our lovelyprincess Carrie Fisher, december
27th.
Rest in power.
Samuel L Jackson, mr Mace Winduhe's December 21st.

(04:24):
Jackson, mr Mace Windu, he'sDecember 21st.
Oh wow, and not an actor, butdirectly tied to the Star Wars
universe.
You mentioned him in your intro.
Well, you mentioned IndianaJones.
Steven Spielberg was born onDecember 18th.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
All right, that's cool.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Who shares the same birthday as our good friend
Emily Swallow.
Emily Swallow and StevenSpielberg share a birthday.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
That's pretty cool.
We should have had her on theshow.
She's so cool.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
When we get to the Mandalorian we'll bring her on.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
But happy birthday, emily.
You are definitely well-likedand loved and respected here and
she's a fan of the show.
She's been on the show ourother show a couple times.
So there you go.
Well, thank you, that's prettycool.
That's very cool, all right, sogetting into it.
We've got uh, season three, episode nine, the hunt for zero.

(05:18):
Shocker of an episode,excellent episode.
Before we really get into it,there's quite a bit to unpack
for this episode that maybe wedidn't.
We didn't get or see a coupleof things I missed, so let's see
if everybody out there got it.
So quinlan voss, who has beenaround for a while, uh, in the

(05:41):
eu, he was based off of acharacter that was just briefly
seen in the Phantom Menace, justif there's.
There's a marketplace scene andyou kind of see someone that
resembles Quinlan Vos, but thatwas uh, that was the uh, the,
the inspiration for that.
That's where the characterdesign uh came from.
But he he's done numerouscomics uh, the star Wars,

(06:03):
republic series, dark Horsecomics, and he was actually
supposed to originally debut inthe Clone Wars in the episode
Bombad Jedi, and in that episodehe was supposed to help Jar Jar
become be a more convincingJedi.
So Quinlan was going to use theforce to help jar jar appear to

(06:26):
do things oh, when he was fakinghe was a jedi right, so quinlan
was going to help him be moreconvincing, kind of like how
luke helped 3po become aconvincing god to the ewoks.
Spoiler alert um, if youhaven't seen that, if you
haven't gotten that far, butagain that came out in the 80s.
So if you haven't seen it, allright, yeah, so um.
However, that was cut becausethere was some sort of a rule or

(06:49):
something about having too manynew character models, um,
appear in each episode.
Maybe it was a budget thing,I'm not 100 sure, but it was.
It was something to do with thecharacter models.
You can't have too many in oneepisode or just too overwhelming
.
They didn't want to make it toooverwhelming could have been,
could have been, and it's a lotfor the animators to deal with.
So, um, so, that was, that wasthe first thing.

(07:12):
So if you're not familiar withquinlan very cool character,
super chill, he's like the dude,he's like the dude, he's just
like laid back, funny, youshould mention that.
So when, when he says, um, youknow, that's just your opinion,
man, yeah, that is a quote fromthe dude from the movie the dude
, exactly so, or the biglebowski I'm sorry, the big,

(07:35):
you've never seen it.
Oh, oh, such a good, it's agreat movie.
Um, you've got, uh, jeffbridges, you've got, um, john
goodman, john goodman, yes, you've got um, oh, my god, my
brain is like so fried stevebuscemi.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Steve buscemi ste really cute.
Tara Reid is in it.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
So it's Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers.
He's in it.
He plays one of these crazy, Ithink, the crazy German
nihilists, or whatever.
Julianne Moore is in it.
So I think we see her nude.
We do see her nude, don't we?
Oh, half no, I think, whenshe's on the ceiling no, no, I

(08:29):
know, okay, well, don't yeah, anyway, you need to watch it.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Naked julianne moore so it's good from the night.
You've already seen her she's.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
She's a boogie nights naked, so oh yeah, everybody's
in boogie nights naked.
I mean, who isn't naked?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
so anyway, that is a watch that you can also yes, if
you haven't seen the bigLebowski, watch it.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Great movie, lots of cool, funny quotes.
Yeah, um, just you know the rug.
The rug is like its owncharacter in the movie.
Anyway, don't say so I'm notokay.
Well, we said there was goingto be spoilers, Not for the big
Lebowski.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
You're right, you're right, you're right.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
It's such a good movie, so there was that, so
that was pretty cool.
The dance number at thebeginning of the episode, of
course, was inspired by theTemple of Doom, indiana Jones
and Temple of Doom.
So, that whole opening dancenumber with and she sang the
song and she sang kind of aversion of the song Anything

(09:23):
Goes.
Psy Snoodles did that in thisepisode, which was very, very
funny.
Um, and it's interesting too Ifyou, if you haven't noticed it
yet, um, go back and watchIndiana Jones temple of doom,
which is the best Indiana Jonesfilm.
It is bar none.
It's bar none, Very best.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
It's literally the bottom I would rather watch.
It's not the Crystal Skull.
I'll smack your mouth.
I'm smacking your temple ofdoom.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 4 (09:53):
Why Raiders Last Crusade, the newest movie,
what's it called the Compass?

Speaker 1 (10:01):
The Dial of Destiny, which was not bad.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Then the Crystal Skull and then all the way down.
You are so fucking drunk andhigh Indiana Jones Like TV show
that did young Indiana JonesChronicles Heart pull thing,
because that's the only thing.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
What is it that you did?
Why?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
don't you like it.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
The fuck is wrong with you.
Who are you?
I don't even know who you areanymore it's not good.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
It is Compared to everything else.
Compared to everything else.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
What makes it not good the screaming skull?
There's just nothing.
The crystal skull is fuckingstupid the crystal skull is
awful.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
No, I don't think it's that bad.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
It's not that bad, it's not what you need to
justify that I mean anyway, okay, not good moving.
I can justify like 10 reasonswhy it's great.
But what can you?
Give me one reason it's notgood.
Give me a a reason no, no, no,no, no, no, because you started
this.
You began with the attack, soyou have to justify.
The burden of proof is on you.
This movie is universallyrecognized as the greatest of

(11:01):
the Indiana Jones film.
No, it is not Universallyrecognized.
In my universe it is no way Allright For me personally.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
For me personally Last.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Crusade.
It's Last Crusade, but.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
That was much more our generation than the other
two.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
It's because they're babies.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
I'm going.
Temple of Doom, raiders of theLost Ark.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
What's that?
One Last Crusade.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Last Crusade and I don't recognize the crystal
skull, the screaming skull.
Have you watched the Compass?
I have watched the Compass.
It's very good.
I liked it a lot.
I liked that one a lot.
That was good.
I'm not sure when exactlythey're going to put him in the
walker, because what the fuck?
I hope they're done.
He handled his business, butyeah.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
So that was surprising.
Like a Rocky thing, you knowwhere, like he trains the next
generation, the next thievingarchaeologist?

Speaker 2 (11:55):
No, absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Temple of Doom.
So good, I love it.
Throw some, dr Jones, they willbe found.
You won't Such a great villain.
Such a great villain, and it'sall plausible.
All of that could absolutelyhappen.
Really, yeah, the end.
All of that could absolutelyhappen.
Really, yeah, the end.
All of it could happen.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
The melting faces.
The melting faces?
Well, yeah, if you believe inthe arc.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
I'm talking.
Well, yeah, that's the thingthe melting faces.
That's implausible, that's notgoing to happen.
No biblical magic is going toshoot out of a box and murder
Nazis.
How do you know?
Because it doesn't exist.
However, this Hindi magic, thatexists, that's a thing.
The thuggy cult is real.
It exists.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
The little kid drives me nuts.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Which little?

Speaker 2 (12:43):
kid, are you talking about short round?
The little Asian kid you needto stop.
Little Asian kid you need tostop.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
You're so insensitive .
Is he not Asian?
I mean, it's an Asiansubcontinent.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
He is.
Is he not Asian?
He is.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
He is from India, he's China.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
You're going down a path of You're breaking my heart
Louis, short round, short round.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
No, he's talking about the prince, he's talking
about short round the littleAsian kid he's talking about
Indy the little asian kid.
He's talking about indies, short indy sidekick.
Yes, how could he annoy you?
He's adorable, but you likegrogu, right, what?
The fuck?

Speaker 2 (13:18):
grogu is a sidekick, doesn't speak oh, he doesn't
like people that talk, so hedoesn't like you're a racist,
you don't you don't, you don'tlike, you don't like people who
speak.
No speak words, that's anybodyoh my God Well anyway, Like
cooing baby noises.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Anyway, he still vocalizes.
Yoda talks you love him andhe's got a speech impediment.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
And he's an ass.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
He doesn't even need to talk like that.
We've heard other people fromhis species.
Yaddle talks just fine, justfine, he chooses A.
We've heard other people fromhis species.
Yaddle talks just fine, justfine, he chooses A.
Hut talks better than.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Yoda A hut talks better than Yoda Just saying.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Why are you taking shots at Yoda now?

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Just saying Because you took shots at Short Round.
Short Round is wonderful.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
I don't know how you could.
That's awful.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
He saves the day, dr Jones, that's awful, that's just
awful.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
And he's also a Goonie.
He is a Goonie.
He's much better than Goonie.
Goonies are forever.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
Goonies are forever.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
He's the same innovative genius Goonies never
say die, but Louie does, louiesays die all the time, anyway,
anyway, anyway, the club thatthey were dancing in In the
greatest Indiana Jones movie ofall time we're all fam in the
club.
We're all fam in the club, inthe club, we're all fam In the

(14:43):
club.
We're all fam Family.
Anyway, that club was ClubObi-Wan, so on the outside of it
I don't know if you guys evernoticed that or not?

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Yeah, Well, they don't.
He doesn't watch it.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
He didn't watch it, so he probably missed that.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
I think I've only seen it like twice.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
But it's Club Obi-Wan .
It's so good though.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Well, guess who likes it?
Dave, because he put it in themovie?
Yep, apparently he put it inthe show.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
So that's a wrap on Daddy Louie.
Thank you everyone.
Everyone give a round ofapplause to Daddy Louie for
joining us on the show andallowing us that to wrap on him,
and now he's done so.
Thank you very much for joiningus and we'll see you never.
Alright, the character of Mamawas partially inspired by the

(15:29):
obese vampire named Pearl fromthe 1998 film Blade.
Yes, I knew it was partiallyinspired by the obese vampire
named Pearl, yes, from the 1998film Blade.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Yes, I knew it, you got that vibe, right, I knew it.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
It's like I'm seeing, are you trying to burn her?
Yeah, yeah, he did, though hetortured that big chick.
He did, he did so.
The Ron D Housekeeper droidsand mama's hut were were a nod
to the the batteries notincluded movie from 1997.
So, yeah, that was a greatmovie.

(16:00):
So that's what they were.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Have you ever seen that movie, tony?
What's that?
Batteries not included?

Speaker 4 (16:05):
Yeah, yeah, Like the one the one that like floats
around yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
So and and of course we hear when, when zero gets
shot which we're gonna touch onthat because that was unexpected
when zero gets shot, he's likewhat a world.
And of course that's athrowback to the wizard of oz,
of course, 1939 wizard of oz,first color in theater was

(16:31):
really.
That was the first color film.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
It was in black and white.
Yeah, yeah, and no one knewthat there was color.
So apparently in the theater.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Pandemonium.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
When it came out, everybody yelled and screamed
and they never seen color, Neverseen color.
Can you imagine being there?
That was there.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
Betty White, I'm kidding, she was born in 1939.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
and they never seen color.
Can you imagine?
Can you imagine being there?

Speaker 2 (16:52):
for that.
That was their Betty White.
I'm kidding, she was like bornin 1939, 32, but was she real?
I think, so I think anyway, butyes, like we have.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
I don't think in our lives we've ever experienced
anything that life changinginspiring.
Like you've only seen media inblack and white for your entire
existence and then all of a cut,all of a sudden.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Yeah, full technicolor, like some people
was radio and you saved money togo to the theater to see the
moving pictures see this movingpicture that had sound, because
I know they had sound, but a lotof them didn't because it was
cheaper right, and there was.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
There was their tv at this time?
Were there televisions at thistime in the 30s, late 30s, like
in people's?

Speaker 2 (17:37):
homes?
Yeah, probably not.
I don't think so.
No, master the 50s.
I thought yeah, yeah, yeah, Ithink the 50s and then color tv.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
I know color tv wasn't out in 1939 oh god, no,
no hell we barely got color TV.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
What's that?

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Late 70s, early 80s For color no, we had color in
the 70s.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
We had color in the 70s 60s.
We didn't have a form ofcurrency or written language in
the 70s, but we did have colortelevision.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
In theory, television was invented in 1926.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Okay, However it did not become popular like it
wasn't common to have sure a tvuntil the 50s that's right, okay
, yeah, 50s.
So it was all radio well, andalso it's probably expensive.
I mean just like oh, that's forus.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Yeah, of course you know freaking cds came out when
cds came out.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Yeah, it was that's crazy and we think that wasn't
that long out it was.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
That's crazy.
And when you think of that, that wasn't that long ago.
Well, it was because Almost 100years ago.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
I guess at this point right, because you know we're
old.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
If you think about it , that was like 90 years ago-ish
the 50s.
Yeah, no, not the 50s, like the30s.
Like you know, 1939 is the 50swas 70 years ago 85.
1939 is the 50s is 70 years ago, 85 years ago.
That's crazy.
That is crazy.
There could very realisticallybe people alive still today who
saw that, saw Wizard of Oz intheaters oh yeah, as a youngster

(19:05):
.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Yeah, what the fuck you saved up your.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
I want to talk to those people.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
I'd love to talk to those people.
I just want to know what theirexperience was like.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
What would they remember?
If they remember, can you tellme what was it like, seeing it
was?

Speaker 2 (19:15):
1939.
1939?
.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
And when they opened that door because it was still
black and white and it was socool how they did it because it
was still black it was kind oflike a sepia tone inside the
house.
Yes, and then when she To.
Oz, it was like.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
But even the sepia tone was.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
That still had to have been something.
Oh, this is.
There's some color here.
This is different, yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
And then when the doors open, I can't even imagine
their little eyeballs, Like thefuck.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
And it's like bright color, like when she comes out
like this oh, it is like.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
It is like acid-tripping color.
It gives me chills.
Right, right, I have it too forthem, because it's like that's
so fun.
It's like the only time youeven see color like that now is
like if you smoke a lot of weed.
That's the only time that yousee colors that never that
bright and vivid anymore, likecolors are just dull now, yeah,
but yeah, it's just like, andthen it's you know, we're the
lollipop guild, we choose youand it's like all right, anyways

(20:09):
, let's talk about star wars, shall we so?
Tangent heroes on, not here, but uh, zero, so uh, we've
unpacked all the little factsabout that.
Uh, the hunt for zero and his,so another.
Do we talk about the chronologyof it?
like where it, where it takesplace, it's just it's all over
the place, so it's, it's fine, just watch the shows and it is

(20:31):
really just all over the place.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
But it's before this and after that and then this.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
So, yeah, so hostage crisis evil plans and then hunt
for zero.
That's the order If you want tolearn about plans, then hostage
crisis.
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Yeah, because evil plans was prior to hostage
christ, and I have.
I have the notes right in frontof me anyway, it's just that
confusing it's just thatconfusing.
So what was it in, in youropinion?
What was it that?
Because I think all of usreally really like this episode,
and it was an episode that washighly received, um, among
critics when it came out.
So what was it that you wouldsay about this episode that made

(21:14):
it probably one of the bestepisodes so far in this season?
What are your, what are yourthoughts, louis?

Speaker 4 (21:21):
why was this?

Speaker 3 (21:24):
um.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
I mean we'll stand out.
For me, it's because characterslike Zero also similar to like
Hondo, I would say like theseside characters that get
introduced and they're likableside characters that you think
that once you are introduced tothem they're going to have some

(21:46):
level of plot warmer so they cankeep using them into the future
.
Right, I guess I just didn'tthink in my head that this was
the end of Zero's time, letalone going out like a savage
like that.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
You know, I'm sorry.
I don't mean to interrupt, butfor somebody who just said you
didn't like the character ofShort Round, did you just say
that the character of Zero waslikable?

Speaker 4 (22:08):
No, no, no.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
I'm saying like when you're watching a show and a
villain is not likable, but like, like the leader of the thuggy
cult in Temple of Doom.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
I don't even remember what you're talking about
because it's such a forgettablemovie.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
I'll find it there it is.
That's for you.
I need a little amble please.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
A sharpie will do.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
A sharpie will do, but anyway, what did you?

Speaker 4 (22:43):
like.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Go to the next person .
You guys are picking on me,tony, so what was it that really
kind of made this a standoutepisode for you?

Speaker 3 (22:54):
I think for me it was .
I mean again, seeing Zero diewas shocking, At least to happen
in that fashion.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
The it was very much a lover's scorn.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
The outright character of Snoodles is just
hilarious to me Just flat out.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
just, you didn't see it coming.
We've only seen her on stagesinging at Jabba's Palace.
She's the one that killed ZeroRight.
She orchestrated all thischaracter in this particular
episode like holy shit, okay,yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Like she even says it at the end like you know who
would think that I could do abounty hunter's job.
It's like exactly.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
I don't think you can do someone who looks like this
so sherry.
What about you?
What, what kind of made this?

Speaker 2 (23:49):
uh, um, it just shows you a woman scorned.
Fuck you up in the end, somaybe don't fuck up.
There's that, yeah okay,message received.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Heard roger that that's for everyone.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Roger that yep but there was only one person you
were looking at when you saidthat.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Keep me safe.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Oh, no one's safe.
No, but for real, that's what Igot out of it, because she
really put it on.
She sure did.
I mean she.
I didn't see it coming.
No, I didn't, and I actually,to be honest, I forgot what he
did to her.
So once she mentioned it, I waslike, oh shit, that's right,

(24:36):
what a dick, yeah and, like youknow, you think that he's
playing her I did think he wasplaying her.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
I did not think he was gonna take her to the
freaking holocron, whatever hegot out, he would be done, but
yeah I thought he'd dump her assoff yeah, but I mean, she must
have thought that too, becauseshe, she was a sweetie, she
sauced him and he was just likebut baby, right, she's like fuck

(25:03):
you and she didn't just shootone, she was like, yeah, she
made sure she, she damn near magdumped into a man.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
I mean holy crap.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
And then just a tongue hanging out.
He was, he was tongued out.
So sorry, man, quit fucking up,damn.
But I do think it's funny thatwhat's the Bonnie Hunter's name?

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Cad Bane.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
I think it's funny.
He just was like, well damn, someone did my job.
Yeah, it's funny, he just waslike well damn, someone did my
job yeah, he's like.
I hate it when someone does myjob for me so yeah, that was my,
that was my and we know she gotaway with it she got away with
100.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
She's still in the movies she's still in the movies
right, because, yeah, yearslater, yeah, she's still with
java.
Who knows what else.
I want to see more.
I want to see tales of sizenoodles now, because who knows
what else she's done over theyears.
That might have been her, justher one moment, her big hurrah.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
She was mad and she took care of it.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Damn, she took care of it.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
But yeah, and I did like the new Jedi they
introduced.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Quinlan.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Vos, I thought he was cool.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
We don't get enough of him.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
I'd love to see more of him.
I don't think there's enough.
I like the interaction betweenhim and Obi-Wan.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
I thought that was pretty funny.
It's like they were collegeroommates or some shit.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
That's how.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I felt.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
He's like oh, this dude, I gotta wait for him.
What did he say?

Speaker 3 (26:32):
He was like I wouldn't quite put it that way,
he's more crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
So when, when, when Obi-Wan is talking about that
with some, you know, referringto somebody else, after serving
with Anakin Skywalker for allthis time and you call him, and
you call Quinlan Vaughn crazy, although he did, I mean, you
know that scene when they wentto Mama's house and Obi-Wan was,
like this, about to push thedoorbell and Vos is like kick
the door in.
That was ridiculous, hey but itgot the job done.

(27:03):
I mean it got the job done.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Well, yeah, he got the job done, but I liked him.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
He was very cool.
Are we going to see him again?
I hope so.
Do we know if he survived Order66?

Speaker 3 (27:16):
I actually did the research on this earlier.
It's not definitive, okay, sohe could still be out there.
They don't say that he's dead,but they don't.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
All right Underutilized, very
underutilized Jedi, I think.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
I think we need to bring him back.
I like his force ability.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
Yeah, yeah, that's really cool right, pick up some
shit and like, oh yep, you wereholding it.
See, they didn't show thatenough.
No, I want them to explore thatlike.
He's a character that I wouldactually like to see more yeah,
and they gave.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
They gave a name to that and I can't remember.
It's like psychic ability it isit's?
It's some kind of a, it's somekind of a kinesis sort of thing,
like something with an age likewell, I feel like he's, because
they see visions right.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
So all he's doing is he learned to tap into the force
to touch something and get theessence of something off of it
and then, and then get thatsight.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
It's a very rare ability.
It's hyper kinesis cognitionwhat is it?
Retro cognition, okay, so Ithought that was very cool.
That's a very cool ability.
I'd love that ability justtouch something and you know you
fucked up so now I'm going toshoot you and leave you for dead

(28:26):
on a distant planet I'm talkingabout people.
And then they went to Teth, where apparently that's where
they're burying huts.
But teth is also the sameplanet from the the clone wars
movie, where that big, wherethat monastery was, that big
battle with that's where theyfound java's uh son.
That's where stinky in themovie, in the, the animated film

(28:47):
, oh, oh, they had to attackthat monastery that was up on
that, that high cliff.
So they're, apparently there'sa lot of hut related shit
happening on teff I'm kind of.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
It's kind of cool with the mummified hut yeah,
that was pretty cool.
I mean, if you don't see that,in a halloween like right right
mural type deal, I would totallyhave a hut I would cosplay that
, I would.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
I would cosplay a mummified hut why not?
I don't have to lose weight.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Right.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
To be super comfortable, I get to lay down
the entire time.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
I'm cool with that, why not?

Speaker 1 (29:19):
So there's a lot going on on Teff.
I thought Nar Shaddaa was cool.
I'm sorry, nal Hutta, narShaddaa is a different planet,
but Nal Hutta, I thought thatthat was cool.
I think this is the first timewe've ever seen that planet
swamp world.
I thought it was cool.
It's interesting because, likethe five families are of course,
all, like you know, italianvibes, yeah, like you know
gangsters, but then, like you'regoing through the swamps, they

(29:42):
had like something that was veryobviously like a fan boat.
You know, yeah, mama soundedlike she was on the bayou.
You know, even even uh zero'sgot that little like southern
new orleans type accent.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
So I think that was pretty cool.
It was even like why is itzero's the only one that speaks?
But is it basic?

Speaker 1 (30:02):
basic.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
Yeah, okay, and then mama was speaking basic basic so
I guess that's where zerolearned it from maybe you just?

Speaker 2 (30:10):
I mean, I'm thinking the Hutts Can do it, they just
choose not to.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
And that's very possible.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
I think that's a sign of respect.
Oh maybe To speak basic.
So when you're not speaking it,you're just like I'm speaking
my language.
You listen to this translatordroid?
Yeah, like Jabba obviouslyunderstands it.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Oh yeah, of course.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
And I'm sure he can speak it.
He might you get this Huttesebitch.
That's what you get, or you getthis protocol droid Fuck out of
my house.
Cad Bane Cad Bane in thisepisode handling his business,
yeah, but that fight was epic, always, but it was.
I mean he was handling two, twoJedi, very good Jedi, very

(30:57):
strong Jedi Handling them, andthis is why Cad Bane still holds
the top slot as the greatestbounty hunter, I agree, living
in existence in the Star Warsuniverse.
Yes, there is no other bountyhunter better than him.
Everyone's talking about BobaFett, talk about Boba Fett all
day long.
Boba Fett got fucked up.
He came back and he stoppedbeing a bounty hunter, which is

(31:25):
fine.
He became the mayor of whovilleand he was he chose?

Speaker 2 (31:27):
amazingly he chose peace.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Guys come on I mean not exactly revenge.
He had, I wouldn't exactly callit peace.
He was still ruling with some alittle bit of fear.
I guess he was still a gangster, it wasn't?
That bad but he wasn't.
He wasn't the ruthless bountyhunter that he had been and then
the disturbed the disturbedchild that he was.

(31:49):
And then yeah, no, and that'swhy cad bane is the best,
because he remained a bountyhunter cad bane is just about
the money like straight up right, which is why can you pay me,
because if not, I'm out he waslike yeah, I know where they're
going, but if you don't want toknow, that's fine too, I guess.
And they're like no, no, no, no, no, no, we got you, we got you

(32:09):
, mr bane.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Here's some more credits so, yeah, that's why
he's the best bounty hunter,because it's just.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
It literally is just about the money and I do feel
that he does get about.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
He still has like the same rate of success as boba
fett oh yeah about a 50, 50 Iwouldn't say he doesn't suck,
but he always, or he doesn'tlose, but he lives to fight
another day.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Yeah, he leaves, that's for sure he gets away.
And he he's still got a fuckingbriefcase full of credits off
the hud and they're trying tomake another deal while he's
holding it.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
he's's like well, while I'm here, I mean as long
as I'm here.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
Why not?
I mean, I might as well.
So great episode, absolutelygreat episode.
It was nice to see that.
That was a hell of a way tostart off too.
So next episode, episode 10,heroes on Both Sides Very cool
episode because we do get to seethat.
Heroes on both sides.
Um, this episode featuresrevamped appearances for several

(33:05):
characters.
Anakin and Obi-Wan are wearingless armor.
Anakin's got a new hairdo, sohis hair is a little bit longer.
It's getting there.
Oh, obi-wan's color, uh, wasaltered to more closely match
Ewan McGregor's live actionappearance, so his color changed
a little bit.
Ahsoka and Senator Coochie theydebuted new outfits that are,

(33:29):
you know, so they're quoteunquote aged up.
So we did see her wearing amore like teenage type outfit
and we only see Senator Coochielike once.
I think she's like they onlyshow her like once inside the
senate chamber, I think at thatpoint, um and uh, also ahsoka's,
her, her head, tails andmontrails, the little horns on

(33:51):
top.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Everything is everything got a little bit
longer she's older, she's alittle, you can tell she bigger
and she has two lightsabers nowand she uh debuted the debut of
ahsoka's shoto uh lightsaber.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
So, yeah, she got the the second one and, louis, you
brought up an interesting point,um, while we were watching, you
know, wondering where she gotit.
What's the story behind that?

Speaker 4 (34:13):
second lightsaber one time it was there and next time
it wasn't and that's literallybetween.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
But this.
This episode is just like inorder.
It doesn't take place beforesomething or after something,
and this is where it's supposedto be in the timeline.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
So it'll be interesting to see going forward
.
If there does end up being anepisode thrown in that is a
callback, I mean I'm assumingthose characters will look like
they did previously.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Probably, and I would like to know that too like
where I mean because she, sheends up using two lightsabers,
like for the rest from now on,yeah, so I mean because why
wouldn't you?
And she's got such a badassstyle too that with with them,
like holding them backwards, andoh, ahsoka's such a badass.
So, um, and it's also the.
The title, heroes on both sides, is a reference to the opening

(35:02):
crawl of Revenge of the Sith.
When it starts out, there areheroes on both sides.
Evil is everywhere.
So this was kind of a callbackto that.
A lot of political intriguewith this one, but it was still.
There was a lot of action.
We had the vacuum cleaner,droids.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Those were pretty great.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
The vacuum cleaner battle droids.
They were pretty great.
The vacuum cleaner battledroids, they were pretty cool,
wait what did you say, Tony?
Transformers, the Transformers,yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
I'm surprised they didn't have the sound, to be
honest.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
Or something similar.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
Yeah, I know they can't use the actual Exactly,
but they could do somethingsimilar.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
I mean, and can we for the wall of remembrance?
Rest in peace to the entiremaintenance team of second shift
electric grid B, the night crew, because fuck they got.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
There was like eight of them.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
They got soft hard and those blasters were big
barrel blasters, these weren'tlike little holdout pistol
blasters and they got dumped on.
I was like it wasn't like oneshot, one kill, they got dumped
on the 50 cows yes, so thesejoes?
And then there was that one guy.
He grabbed that holdout blasterfrom under and he, he, he tried

(36:22):
trying.
Brave soul, he must havemandalorian blood in him I'm
gonna take.
I'm gonna take him as top top ofthe tier because he tried yeah
I think, I think, when wefeature them on the wall of
remembrance, the whole crew, weneed to make him like, like
blaster guy, yeah, blaster guy, because man, he, I mean, that's
brave, brave I mean, you knewyou were gonna die there, come

(36:43):
on but he's like you know what?
I'm not going out like a punkhe's got wife and kids at home
hopefully they get his pension, hopefully they get something.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
I mean, I don't know, pay right some kind of
survivor's benefits.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
I don't know what.
I don't know what is thisrepublic?
Yeah, it's the republiccurrently.
So I don't know what.
The health insurance?
I like, I don't know.
They have no money.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
I mean, maybe he got a life insurance.
They have no money.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
That's true.
They don't have money for someof these basic services because
of the war.
They're trying to refinance.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
He just lost his benefits yesterday.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Yep, damn Yep, because that's when they were
trying to pass the term, it wasopen renewal and he was like you
know what?

Speaker 4 (37:20):
I need to save some money next day.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Now the wife and kids are going to be on the streets.
They're going to be working ina cantina somewhere dancing for
that money.
Mama will be.
Mama's going to be dancing forthat money.
Hopefully she's a Twi'lek soshe can get that extra.
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (37:39):
I don't know about those kids.
Everybody likes the Twi'lek.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
I don't know.
I don't know about those kids.
I don't know about those kidsbecause we all know how Star
Wars hates kids.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
And they're like stop , oh man.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
So that was a very, very interesting episode and
even though it was like apolitical episode, it wasn't
really boring.
No, I didn't think so.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
No, it wasn't boring.
I'm trying't think so.
No, it wasn't boring, I'mtrying to think what else
happened?
There's a lot.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
There was a lot going on but remember they were
trying to, they were trying topass that bill no, I know that
yeah to uh, to just stop thederegulation of the banks, yeah,
but then you've got you knowthe banking clan guys and you've
got you know these other, theseother, two idiots.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
We also got Padme traveling across borders.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
To meet a separatist?
Yeah, to meet her separatistfriend.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
I mean, it did work initially.
I feel bad.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
It, did it, absolutely did, she got her to
do it in her.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Senate as well.
So I thought that was.
That was cool.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
But you know, warmongering man, I know, and
there was a little, there was alittle uh, a little bit of a of
a love connection with the socalove connection no, no, no, not
between padme and her friendsoca.
No, soca, no, that's betweenpadme and duchess sateen, that's
, you know a couple.
No, I think that was mentor, mentee sort of thing.
But guys, now, padme, if she'sgonna, you know, if she dare
speaks, the love that has noname, it's gonna be with satine,
like for sure.
If she's yeah, if she's goingtrue, if she's going uh, curious

(39:11):
, it's gonna be with, uh, withsatine anyway.
I mean, her heart will alwaysbe with anakin and I'm pretty
sure that Satine's heart willalways be with Obi.
But Ahsoka learned a lesson.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
She did learn a lesson About the other side.
She did.
There's always two sides to astory.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
So, let's, let's talk about that.
So, like you know, up to thispoint we have just seen the
separatist portrayed as DookuVentress.
All the, you know, all the bad,all the bad guys, yeah, you
know, and but what about all thepeople that just want to live
their lives?
live their lives right and theythink that the jedi and the
republic are bad and corrupt.

(39:52):
And we even see that withanakin.
Anakin says there is nocorruption in the republic,
there is no corruption among theJedi, and Padme kind of blasted
him and said well, even theside eye.
Yeah, and she said that's whyyou're not speaking to any of
these people Come on Ahsoka, let's go Ahsoka.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
like you're not training, come on.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
Ahsoka, let's go.
I'm going to teach you somethings.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
And then got mad after they came back.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
Shut fool yeah, go to your.
And ahsoka called him out.
She said you would do the samething.
You have done the same thing, but you went too far this time.
Ah, really, you've done thesame.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
You killed people.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
Calm down dude so what do you, what do you guys
think then about you know our?
Is there enough?
Do you think there?
Know, we do see that there'speople on both sides that don't
want war, but is it enough onthe separatist side to to help
in any way?

Speaker 3 (40:52):
I don't think so.
I think the biggest issue isthis is this set of episodes
here?
Is this set of episodes?
Here is definitely one whereyou can absolutely see
Palpatine's tendrils in everyone, oh yeah.
And as much as he has histendrils on the Republic side,
it's even more so on theSeparatist side.

(41:14):
So I mean, it almost doesn'tmatter how many people.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
Because Dooku's able to work directly for Palpatine,
out in the open, I guess, withthe separatists.

Speaker 3 (41:26):
Yeah, although that being said, it was a very
interesting thing to me that youhave Dooku in this episode
saying we're going to follow thetenets of our democracy.
You guys voted this way.
I'll go ahead and send it overand the ayes had it.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
And then, in the same episode, you see palpatine say
well, for now we will let thisgo right.
And and I think that was in thesecond episode, or was it the
first one, it was in one of the, because we had that two-parter
with the pursuit of peace, yeah,um, which is what we saw, uncle
iroh, uncle uno, uno, yeah,it's like he was, he was tongues
out before, but again, this isa throwback, you know so,
correct?
But um, so we see, we seepalpatine break character for a

(42:14):
second.
He's like how is it that oneperson can have all the power in
the galaxy and the voice of onesenator can sway millions?
He was mad, oh, he was real mad.
He was pissed.
Papa Palpy was big mad.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
But after that he took a breath and he was like
it's alright for now.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
We'll let the wheels turn.
We'll let the wheels turn.
We'll let the wheels turn.
I mean, he's.

Speaker 4 (42:43):
Oh yeah, it was a breaking character for a split
second.

Speaker 2 (42:45):
I just don't think he can see her, but he got control
Like he can't.
I don't think he sees herfuture for some reason.
You know, yeah, he might not beable to.
I don't think he can.
I think she does have a littleforce, sensitivity.
She's got a little force in her.
No, I'm not talking aboutAnakin, I'm talking about just
her.
I'm just saying, as a queen, she had to have something.

Speaker 1 (43:08):
I'm just saying the way that she drove that speeder
bike when she was escaping fromthe bounty hunter.
Of course, yeah, she's got alot of.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
The way she manipulates the Senate and not
manipulates, but is able tospeak and so kind of give away a
little bit.
I mean, I know, do you not?

Speaker 1 (43:28):
think that, while her and Anakin are engaging in
intimate mommy daddy time, thatsome of his midi-chlorians
aren't being absorbed by hermidi-chlorians?

Speaker 4 (43:38):
Man Do midi-chlorians work that way.
That doesn't work that waytransferred from one being to
another.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
It's not a freaking disease?
Midichlorians we know that theyare living beings that reside
in all other living transferredfrom.
Why?

Speaker 4 (43:50):
couldn't they?

Speaker 1 (43:50):
oh my god I mean, if some of his midichlorians are
shooting into her, okay, andhe's just like he's and they
would just, they would just if.

Speaker 4 (43:58):
If you is that could literally transfer midichlorians
from one being to another, thenwhy would they not just knock
Anakin out and drain hismidichlorians?

Speaker 1 (44:08):
Maybe they don't know how that works.
I mean, they, they have areally like mythological view of
midichlorians, you know, and weheard Qui-Gon's explanation of
it.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
But over the years they hadn't picked up.
To hey, when this Jedi Stoopsthis.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
But remember, they don't Now all of a sudden, but
they're not allowed to, they'renot allowed, they're not allowed
to stoop Right.

Speaker 4 (44:39):
There's no way.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Anakin is the first stoop.
Ki-adi-mundi Ki-Adi-Mundi does.
Well, he's got different levelsof midichlorians.
Everybody does.
Some of them have a little bitmore, some of them have a little
less, some of them are moretuned Like Anakin has so much
that he has some extra to give.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
Well, he was born of midichlorians.

Speaker 1 (44:53):
Right, but no, it's not true.
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
I don't think that it's implausible to think that
he's transmitting some of hismidichlorian count.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
My brain is just going to a very dumb place.
He said something about whydon't they just knock him out
and drain out all of it.
My brain just went to AustinPowers.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Like the Sturgeons Stole my mojo.
Or the Sturgeons where Stole mymojo.
Or the Sturgeons where they'rejust like extracting the oh, not
the Sturgeons again Extractingthe caviar, yeah.

Speaker 4 (45:28):
Then they could just take those Metachlorians, put
them in other beings to makethem stronger.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
But we know they're trying to.

Speaker 4 (45:34):
Puppeteen could make like an army of super soldiers
with.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
But that is what he's trying to do with, like Grogu,
and we know he's trying to dothat.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
So he's trying to get DNA that way.
But you're saying like if hecould just subdue Anakin, just
milk Anakin for hismidichlorians.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Because the technology's not built yet.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
And then what would he do?
Would he just like spread themidichlorians on his?
Chest and put some behind hisear.

Speaker 4 (46:01):
I mean, if you can transfer down the hatch, if he
knew a way to transfermidichlorians from one being to
another, you don't think that hewould literally suck the
midichlorians.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
But at that time, at that time every Jedi he could.
He's just sucking Jedi up inJedi.
He's just running around like.

Speaker 1 (46:26):
Give me that midichlorian.
He's like doing like amidichlorian bukkake session.
Bring the Jedi to me.
I'm going to suck them dry.
Your force will be mine, youngJedi.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
So that's enough of those two episodes, I guess.
I'm telling you, I'm talkingabout when Grogu goes into that
machine.
Yeah, and they start taking hisfucking midichlorians.
We know it happens.
They're taking his blood.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
They're taking his blood and his DNA, but maybe
that's not enough, maybe that'snot, you know, maybe they need
to like he's a baby, he's 50.
He's a baby Everybody calm down.
For his species.
Maybe that's still not age ofconsent.
I mean he's still I mean onCoruscant, it's 18.

(47:25):
So I mean I don't know what totell you.
Grogu, you're 50.
We're in Vegas, so I when inCoruscant, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
I don't know.
I think we need to explore this.
The rails are right here.
We are Over here.

Speaker 1 (47:42):
They started the sucking rail not me, is that the
one you wanted?
You got the crickets.
I did Alright, that's good.
I feel like we needed there wego.
I wasn't good at.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
Simon, either with the colors.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
I'll label them tomorrow, it's fine, okay, no,
you won't.
No, I won't.
The buttons I'll label themtomorrow, it's fine, okay, no,
you won't.
No, I won't, I won't, I won't.
So those were even.
Those were two politicalepisodes.
They both turned out prettygood.
It was a nice little story arc.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:09):
Yeah, it was good stuff.
So finally, talking about thenext episode, episode 12,
nightsisters, whichchronologically comes after the
Senate Mur murders episode, isthat right?
70, 80, 90.
Yeah, okay, no, that's notright.

(48:32):
Anyway.
So with this one I'm trying tolook at like make my my notes
here Correct, which they are notcurrently.
So with this we're getting likea really nice insight into
Asajj and how she was, like shehad a rough life Well, so I mean

(48:54):
from her childhood, I mean itwasn't rough.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
She was taken because she was for sensitive.
She was taken away for thatyeah which is fine, but not by
the Jedi.
Not by the Jedi.
I thought the Nightsisters didthat on purpose.
I think that yes.

Speaker 4 (49:09):
I think that they were like here's this baby, take
her away, because we don't wanther to be taken by the Jedi.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
We know what happened the last time Jedi got around
witches.
That's right, but I didn'trealize that I guess I to be
taken by the Jedi.
We know what happened the lasttime Jedi got around witches.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (49:25):
But I didn't realize that.
I guess I didn't realize thatshe was once a Jedi.
That's kind of crazy.

Speaker 1 (49:29):
Yeah, I really didn't either.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
I thought there was another backstory to her.
Maybe there is.
Is there another backstory forher?

Speaker 1 (49:35):
No, this is canon this is it I?

Speaker 4 (49:39):
didn't realize it.
I thought that was cool.
That means that at some pointin time in her life she was
exposed to the good side of theForce.
You can see it in herflashbacks.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Yeah, but because of what happened to her it was like
an Anakin type of deal, becauseher master that first one he
died and apparently he treatedher okay Because I mean she was
another one of those brain, those brain head assholes.

Speaker 1 (50:01):
I don't know what the name of the species might not
have been an asshole to her, though.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
Right, right, right so yeah, so he was probably
keeping her safe and then thefight happened and he died and
then she kind of like insidelike an Anakin like my so her
first Jedi, and then that thatmaster died.

Speaker 1 (50:17):
Right.
So she's only known loss, andthat took her Over the edge Over
the edge.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Just that one loss Right.

Speaker 4 (50:24):
I'm wondering how long it was.
That was probably the firstrelationship that she's had with
anybody that's lasted more thana short time, yeah.
And now he's basically said getout.
Yeah, that's got to be crushing.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
Yeah, for somebody who has been abandoned their
whole life yeah, for somebodywho has been abandoned their
whole life and and I'm sure thaton some level, like
psychologically and emotionally, for her he was also a father
figure yeah, you know in someway.

Speaker 2 (50:48):
Yeah, she was fighting.
I mean that, when she, when hermaster got killed, she was
young which one?

Speaker 1 (50:55):
the first guy?
No, her jedi, master, jedi.

Speaker 2 (50:59):
She had to be 14, 15?
, mm-hmm.
Well, what was she doing thiswhole?

Speaker 1 (51:03):
time when he grabbed her, she looked to be probably
about eight or nine, maybe aboutthe same age as Anakin.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but that's what I'm saying
when he died.

Speaker 1 (51:12):
Yeah, she was probably in her teens, well into
her teens.

Speaker 2 (51:14):
And so that put her over the edge.

Speaker 1 (51:24):
She killed people, people, and after that, that was
it.
Do we think that she was?
Um, maybe she hid, maybe wasshe trained secretly, because
there's no way the jedi councilwould have approved her for
training at that age.
There's no way they would havelet this jedi take her on as an
apprentice.
It could have been a secret soshe might have been trained
secretly.
Or maybe he was like a from asplinter cell, like an offshoot
of a jedi.
Maybe he left the jedi order, went out on his own because the

(51:44):
council would never haveapproved that yeah, maybe they
only let jedi or let anakin doit, because he was supposedly
the chosen one but I don't knowwhy she'd want to kill jedi
after her master got killed.

Speaker 2 (51:56):
Maybe she just blamed everyone?

Speaker 1 (51:57):
I think there's more to the story yeah, there's yeah,
I think there's more to thestory, because obviously it
wasn't the jedi that killedeither of her masters.
No, it was the weak way bothtimes yeah so it's like maybe
move somewhere that doesn't haveweak way, because like clearly
that's a bad neighborhood, likewherever that is um so pirates I
guess the weak way are justbasically pirates, you know I do

(52:19):
like the night sisters took herin.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
I love the night sisters.

Speaker 1 (52:22):
I think they're they took her back.
Wonderful, yeah, I mean thiswas, and they're very strong on
the force, but they don't evencall it the force, they don't,
it's just the magic because?

Speaker 2 (52:31):
are they using force?
Because I mean she has likechoking and all this, like those
girls didn't that she was with,so they're just using magic
yeah, they might not have beentrained maybe they call it magic
different abilities within theforce, it's the force, but they
don't call it the force becausethey don't see it as that.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
See it that way they use know differently because
they don't.
They don't use it, they are it.
I think.
Yeah, they embrace the forcedifferently than I think jedi
and sith do.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
Yeah, I don't think they see it in the absolute
terms that the jedi and sith do.
So they're, although they're alittle bit, they lean a little
bit dark.
I think that they're probablymore of that middle ground
between I think they could beneutral jedi and which we know
that from.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
Yeah, the acolyte, the acolyte.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
It's like they just want to be left in peace to do
their thing but if you fuck withthem, right, that's your ass.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
You don't knock on their door, you just break in
bust in their house whilethey're having a party right a
birthday party for their kidsyeah the fuck.

Speaker 1 (53:34):
So it's very interesting.
It's very interesting to seethe development of of asajj, I
think you know like, and becauseshe, when we do see her on that
separatist ship, um, she, shechoked out, she was choking out
anakin and obi-wan.
She would have killed them andyou could see she was pissed
like.

Speaker 4 (53:54):
Oh yeah, that was a.
That was I'm pissed off andyou're in the wrong place at the
wrong time.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
I want to cry right now, but I'm going to kill
motherfuckers instead.

Speaker 1 (54:04):
I mean.
I mean that because you feltthat I mean you know when you
saw that in her eyes I was likeyeah, damn it Because sometimes
you get so angry you cry insteadof murdering people.

Speaker 2 (54:15):
Yes, right.

Speaker 1 (54:18):
Yes, so angry you cry instead of murdering people.
Yes, right, yes.
And how cool is that?
That you were able to see that, relate to that and and
recognize that in in the facialexpressions of a cartoon
character.
I mean, what is a good job?

Speaker 2 (54:28):
they did a great job because as soon as he said
you're gonna die, her poor facewas just like you, mother.

Speaker 1 (54:36):
She was crushed, fucker, yeah, and then pissed
off, and then yeah, because howlong was she on her own after
her jedi master died?
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
She had to be at least a teen 14, 15 and then
when he went, when she went todooku in her, she was in her 20s
right yeah maybe, so she wasdoing something because I don't
know how old she was during theclone wars.

Speaker 1 (55:00):
Right lore master, keeper of the holocron I'm
looking it up, but what?
Are your thoughts?

Speaker 3 (55:06):
careful how I do this , because I'm somewhat familiar
with a little bit of asajj'slonger history and I don't want
to familiarize myself too muchwith it.

Speaker 1 (55:16):
Just ask how old she was during the Clone Wars.
Probably in her 30s, I don'tknow.
Think older.
I don't know how old I wouldthink younger.
It was cool to see her withhair.
It was cool to see her withhair.

Speaker 4 (55:31):
It was very cool.
I do too, but I thought thehair was a little comb over
right you should see the picture.

Speaker 3 (55:39):
I'm looking at her right now like I do.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
I do like how she has like this vampiric, this
vampiric, look to her like thatand her like she kind of looks
like the vampires from Buffy theVampire Slayer yes, oh, the old
the old vampires like whentheir noses get all wrinkly and
everything.
Yeah, so massage.
I feel bad for her.
She's another one that wasmanipulated manipulated and,

(56:06):
like I don't even want to saythat, she fell to the dark side.
I think she was just lookingfor a side and she was lost and
she stumbled upon dooku in adark alley, metaphorically
speaking.
Yeah and uh, he used her, butit was interesting to see that
he didn't want to do it.
He didn't, he didn't seem towant to do it.

Speaker 2 (56:26):
But anakin is the same he does.
He does things for him once hebecomes who he becomes, and he
doesn't want to do it, but hedoes it and I think, I think
dooku is thinking of likeoverall, the greater good.

Speaker 1 (56:42):
He feels that lord sidious is going to be the one
to restore balance and and thecorruption, because that's the
hustle that he's run on dooku.
So he's like, if I have tosacrifice my favorite apprentice
in order to restore sanity tothe galaxy, but the needs of the
many lying to Palpatine aboutwhat he he asked him.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
Is this your apprentice?

Speaker 1 (57:07):
Oh, that's right.

Speaker 2 (57:08):
He said no, she's just my favorite assassin.
She's my favorite assassin andthat's bullshit, cause he did
tell her you I will make you myapprentice.

Speaker 1 (57:16):
And he said.
He said she's very important tome yes, that was very stuff
about.
That was telling, so I think Ithink I did.

Speaker 4 (57:24):
He like snapped at him.
He's like I don't give a shit.
Yeah, you didn't do it.
You need to kill this, you needto take her out.

Speaker 1 (57:29):
He immediately was like yes yes, master, fearsome,
and that was it, and it's like, and I don't think dooku could
take him out, but I think dookucould I think him and ventress
could take him out if he wouldnot have betrayed her, I think.

Speaker 2 (57:46):
I think if he would have kept her hidden and trained
her, they could have tookpalpatine out together the, the
pair of them?

Speaker 1 (57:52):
I don't know.
I don't think so because she'sstill raw.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
No, I'm saying keep her secret though from Palpatine
, and he could do it.

Speaker 1 (58:02):
He could, yeah, he could.
He's kept other secrets fromPapa Palpy, correct, correct.
But now we've got theNightsisters saying you know
we're going to help you out.
We're going to give you a mailthis time.

Speaker 2 (58:17):
And there is no, they don't, they don't have men,
where are they getting thesedudes?
Or is it going to be her change?

Speaker 1 (58:27):
Are they going to transform her?

Speaker 2 (58:30):
Because there is no males that.
I know for sure.

Speaker 1 (58:34):
Well, I don't know.
Maybe I mean, if there is maybethey keep them in pods
somewhere or something.
Maybe those are those big hairytesticle things that we saw
hanging down on the planet, Imean when, when they landed.
There are these big old bulbouspod things just full of water
or full of dudes, maybe it'sthat's how we're gonna do it
right, right, just just force.

Speaker 2 (58:56):
Dudes just hanging out that's how we're gonna do.
Do it Right, just force dudesjust hanging out.
That's how we're going to do it.
There you go, keep our men inpause.

Speaker 1 (59:01):
Keep them in pause, damn, all right.
You know what.
I'm not going to get on yourbad side Any more than I already
am, I suppose.
All right, so that is a wrap.
What are we thinking aboutthese four episodes?
I think they're really good, all four of them?
Yeah, agreed, yeah, absolutely.
So what are our predictionscoming up?
I mean, we've got.

Speaker 2 (59:21):
Would you find something?

Speaker 3 (59:23):
I haven't.
I'm looking everywhere for it.
She does not actually have herown page on Wikipedia.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
Asajj doesn't have her own page.
I'm not able to find it.

Speaker 3 (59:33):
That is rude.

Speaker 1 (59:35):
No, that can't be.

Speaker 3 (59:36):
I mean I agree, able to find it that is rude.
Um no, that can't be.

Speaker 2 (59:38):
I mean I agree with you, but I mean, it's not there.

Speaker 3 (59:39):
If I'm going to google and I'm typing, it's not
as french as wikipedia and it'snot giving me a result.
Wow, all right.
Um.
However, I did find somethinginteresting what's that?
Uh, so we were talking about, you know, we started this
talking about, uh know, thechangeover from black and white
to color, and I was trying tothink, in comparison for, like

(01:00:03):
my life, what would be the mostmind blowing thing.
And the first thing I thoughtwas the first time I saw a 3D
movie.
Okay, Okay.
Like that might be interesting.
But that took me down a littlebit of a rabbit hole.
Do you know?
The first 3D movie came outbefore the first color movie no,

(01:00:23):
I did not know that.

Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
What was it?

Speaker 3 (01:00:26):
pull it back up it was in black and white.
Uh, yeah, black and white.
But 3d movie, okay, uh, cameout in 1922 called the Power of
Love.

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
Oh, I guess that would be easier, maybe with the
glasses.
Yeah, because you've got andyou don't have the color to.

Speaker 3 (01:00:50):
To worry about.

Speaker 1 (01:00:51):
Yeah, kind of like a, like a light bright sort of not
light bright but what you know, those things that they used to
have back in the day like akaleidoscope, no, the oh my god,
it was the red thing that youwould put the little round
picture discs in and like, oh,oh my god.

Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
I know exactly what you're talking about.
Those did have.

Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
Those were kind of 3D right, those were kind of 3D.

Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
You would click it and it would look like it was
right there.
Oh my God, we had them as kids.

Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
So Ventress was born in 50 BBY.
Viewmaster.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
Viewmasters yeah, yeah, I've got that.
She was born in 50 BBY.

Speaker 4 (01:01:40):
And there is something called night brothers
all right, don't look up toomuch.
Don't look up, don't look upall right, so 50 bby all right
where are we at right now we are, uh, 21 bby, 22by.

Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
This particular episode, I believe, was.
I think we're at like 20 BBYshe's about 30.
So she's about 30 years old.
Okay, I haven't been keepingtrack of that.
I haven't been keeping track ofthe BBY.
I need to keep doing that.
I've got to do it this time.
So predictions for our nextround.

(01:02:18):
So we've got you said there'ssome Night Brothers maybe coming
up.

Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
I mean that's, I don't know.
I literally just read all right, so that's interesting.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
We know there's gonna be some dudes, so I don't know
the.
Night Bros.
Hmm, I have a theory, but Ialready know what's going to
happen.
I already know, what's going tohappen?
It's going to start gettingreally good.

Speaker 2 (01:02:46):
I know I was like damn, it's going to get better.
These last four were prettyintense.

Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
These last eight episodes were actually pretty
good.
Season three.
Season three is going to begood to us.
It's going to keep being goodto us, so that's going to do it.
Do we have anything else?
Anyone have anything else?
I don't have any predictions.

No, nothing.
