Shocker of an episode,excellent episode.
Before we really get into it,there's quite a bit to unpack
for this episode that maybe wedidn't.
We didn't get or see a coupleof things I missed, so let's see
if everybody out there got it.
So quinlan voss, who has beenaround for a while, uh, in the

eu, he was based off of acharacter that was just briefly
seen in the Phantom Menace, justif there's.
There's a marketplace scene andyou kind of see someone that
resembles Quinlan Vos, but thatwas uh, that was the uh, the,
the inspiration for that.
That's where the characterdesign uh came from.
But he he's done numerouscomics uh, the star Wars,

republic series, dark Horsecomics, and he was actually
supposed to originally debut inthe Clone Wars in the episode
Bombad Jedi, and in that episodehe was supposed to help Jar Jar
become be a more convincingJedi.
So Quinlan was going to use theforce to help jar jar appear to

do things oh, when he was fakinghe was a jedi right, so quinlan
was going to help him be moreconvincing, kind of like how
luke helped 3po become aconvincing god to the ewoks.
Spoiler alert um, if youhaven't seen that, if you
haven't gotten that far, butagain that came out in the 80s.
So if you haven't seen it, allright, yeah, so um.
However, that was cut becausethere was some sort of a rule or

something about having too manynew character models, um,
appear in each episode.
Maybe it was a budget thing,I'm not 100 sure, but it was.
It was something to do with thecharacter models.
You can't have too many in oneepisode or just too overwhelming

They didn't want to make it toooverwhelming could have been,
could have been, and it's a lotfor the animators to deal with.
So, um, so, that was, that wasthe first thing.

keeping her safe and then thefight happened and he died and

Or maybe he was like a from asplinter cell, like an offshoot
of a jedi.
Maybe he left the jedi order,went out on his own because the

after her master got killed.
