If your words could carry light, where would you shine them first? This guided ceremony is a gentle, grounded journey into voice—how we speak to ourselves, how we speak to others, and how our creative self speaks through us.

Together we explore the architecture of self-talk, inviting the younger part of us to be seen rather than silenced. With the kind parent as an inner guide, we rewrite old scripts into language that helps us repair, recommit, and move.

Creativity takes center stage as another form of voice. We name one living intention—write, paint, photograph, compose—and map simple ways to care for it with time, boundaries, and ease. Then we welcome Reiki with Archangel Gabriel, guardian of communication, music, poetry, and art, to bless the instrument of expression and attune discernment: when to speak, what form to use, and how to let meaning land.

Looking forward to spending this time together. Have a beautiful day!

SPEAKER_01 (00:01):
Hi, thank you so much for joining me today.
I'm Shannon and this is StarseedEvolution, bringing the wisdom
and insight of the cosmos toyou.
I'm grateful that you'relistening.
Hello, and thank you so much forjoining me tonight.

(00:22):
I'm Shannon and grateful to behere.
I hope everybody is doing welland looking forward to our time
together.
Tonight we're going to beworking with the energy of
Archangel Gabriel aroundactivating our voice.
And I'm going to talk a littlebit about the different types of

(00:45):
voice that we'll encounterthrough this activation.
So it's not just our speakingvoice.
This comes from the Fairy Oraclecard deck by Amy Brown.
The card that came out is 37Lighting the Way.

(01:06):
The keyword is illumination.
We all wish for guidance andhelp along the way, yet
sometimes guidance comes fromwithin.
When we connect to the energy ofspirit that resides within each
of us, we see clearly what weare to do.

(01:28):
Reach for the stars, allow thatcommunication with spirit to
connect you to your highestgood.
Connecting to spirit is as easyas recognizing that you are
already one with the universalpower.
If you have chosen this cardtoday, it may be telling you
that you need to strengthen yourtrust in the divinity that

(01:50):
surrounds you.
Ultimately, you are to be theone who shows others the way.
You hold the light for them asthey climb the path towards
illumination.
In order to do so, you mustcontinue your own journey in
learning and refining your owntruth.

(02:10):
It is only through example thatwe can change our world, one
person at a time.
But if enough people hold thelight in enough places, we can
bring about change at much moreadvanced rate.
This angel holds the lantern forall to see, so that anyone who

(02:31):
wishes to climb the path canbetter see the footholds and
avoid the pitfalls.
She has reached the highestpeak.
Her face shows that she takesher job seriously.
Guidance can come in many forms.
The words of a friend or aprofessional counselor.

(02:52):
Guidance can come from a book ora stranger's words.
Listen to what information comesyour way, sit with it, and
meditate on it.
You will get a sense as towhether it is valid for you or
not.
If you are open and willing tohear your truth, you may be
destined to teach or counselothers.

(03:16):
What are the different types ofvoice that we're going to work
with tonight?
So there's the speaking voice, and within the speaking voice,
I've broken it down into twoparts.
The first part is how we speakto ourselves.
You can imagine how self-talkinside of ourselves can actually

(03:41):
affect our voice because itmight hold us back from taking
chances or stepping forward intothe things that we're wanting
to.
The second way of speaking ishow we speak to others.
We're going to look at voicethrough the spoken word.
Then another part of what we'regoing to talk about tonight is

(04:04):
the creative voice.
You can express your voice,right?
That inner part of you thatyou're developing through
writing, through painting anddrawing, through photography,
through music.
So it's all aboutself-expression creatively, and

(04:27):
you're giving voice to thingsthat are important to you
through these different creativeavenues.
When you work on your voice, what you're saying is that my
soul is important.
It's not the only thing thatmatters, it's not the most
important thing in the world, but it is an important part of

(04:49):
expressing my soul self.
And by becoming more confidentand being able to also help
others on this path, it's along-term soul growth.
So if I see it as something thathelps me to also help others
over time, you begin to look atyour voice, where it's come

(05:12):
from, where it's going, howyou'd like to use it
differently.
So the first thing we're goingto do is just wake up our vocal
cords by doing three ohms.
The reason I chose ohm, becauseit's pretty simple, but it's
also complex in that it's thefirst sound of creation.

(05:34):
So when we ohm, right, and whenwe're doing the ohms, we're
creating a vibration in ourvocal cords.
When our vocal cords vibratewith the sound of creation, then
we're moving that whole soundand resonance through our whole
body, through all of our cells.

(05:56):
And that's connecting with oursoul self, connected to uh
divine wisdom.
And so what you're saying is myvoice is important.
I want it to open and awaken mywhole body, and I want that
resonation to connect with mysoul and the spirit around me.

(06:19):
And so connecting with our voicebecomes a sacred act.
And so, what I encourage you todo right now, because I'm gonna
aim three times, I would likeyou, if you're able to, to also
om with me the ideas that you aswell are activating your vocal

(06:41):
cords.
So to connect with the sacredsound of AM, it's nice to also
do the Anjali mudra.
So I'll have you bring yourhands together in prayer
position at your sternum, yourheart space, and closing your
eyes and connecting with yourbreath, connecting with your

(07:05):
heart, connecting with yourhigher self.
And we're going to do three ohmstogether.
I'll have you take a deep breathin.

(08:17):
Because how we talk to ourselvesis important because it can
affect how we use our voice ordon't use it.
How you clearly communicateideas to others, how can you do
that if your own voice inside ofyou might be saying really not
great things?

(08:37):
And so it might prevent you fromsaying what you want or need to
because of how you speak toyourself.
So we're going to be working orlooking at that at least.
And there's a passage I want toread before we do that.
This book, Daily Guidance,Angels, Doreen, Virtue, Loving

(09:02):
Words to Yourself.
The words that you use todescribe yourself deeply affect
your sense of self-love andself-worth.
These include what you think, say, write, or even joke about
yourself.
You're in a caretaker role withregard to yourself.

(09:24):
Much like a mother or fatherraising a baby, you have
responsibilities and obligationsto your own self.
Your self-parenting dutiesinclude speaking lovingly and
gently to and about yourself, just as you would to your own
infant.
Today, use only beautifulterminology to describe

(09:47):
yourself.
This doesn't mean that you'rebeing boastful, you're simply
reflecting your divine nature.
When you use beautiful words, you speak the truth.
This elevates you to the highestenergy possible, where miracles
and instant manifestationsoccur.

(10:09):
So the first thing that we'regoing to look at, so I invite
you to participate in this part.
What is one thing that you mightsay about yourself that isn't
always so kind?
Is there something like if youmake a mistake or you're not

(10:30):
doing the things that you wantto be doing, or something
happens?
What are some of the things thatyou might say to or about
yourself that aren't so kind?
Take this time now to journalwhatever comes up for you during
this moment of silence.

(11:32):
But what I want you to be awareof is this.

(12:19):
So are you eight years old?
Are you five years old?
Is it your teenage self?
So see if you can get an idea ofhow old that part of you is.
If you ask the part of yourselfthat's saying that, how old is
that part?

(12:52):
So, whatever age you named, allow that part of you to sit
here with us.
We invite that part in.
We want them to be here.
Have you ever tried to tell achild to get out of a room?
Um, they will usually eithercower, cry, or fight back.

(13:15):
And actually, what we're tryingto do is invite them in.
Hey, like I noticed that this iswhat you think, so I want you
here.
So now who we're going to invitein is our kind parent self.
A kind parent is not the same asnice.

(13:38):
So we're not saying a niceparent who will say only good
things and be sweet andsugarcoat everything.
That's not the kind of parentwe're talking about.
We're talking about the kindparent who is honest and
truthful, but is also doing itin a way that uplifts us.

(14:00):
Say I make a mistake.
I'll give you an example.
I go to a group meeting andsomebody there upsets me, they
say something, and I saysomething back that's not nice
out of reaction, and I just walkaway and leave.

(14:20):
But I kind of know that maybeI'm in the wrong, like, ooh,
that wasn't nice.
What the kind parent will say iskindly asking you, well, so how
did that go?
Like, well, not so good.
I said some not great things.
Okay, well, like, how do youwant to handle this?

(14:43):
Like, do you want to leave itthat way?
Or no?
Well, you know, it'd probably bea good idea just to, you know,
apologize to that person if youhurt their feelings.
So the kind parent doesn'tnecessarily tell us what it to
do, but walks us through how towork on things.

(15:05):
So now what I'm going to have usimagine is you are sitting here
with a part of yourself that hasharsh self-talk, low confidence
with the kind parent.
Now, you've heard what the childpart of you said.
What will the kind parent say?

(15:27):
How can we turn that into aphrase that is actually helpful
instead of hurtful?
So if you take the phrase thatyou shared earlier about like,
I'm not good enough or I'mstupid, what would the kind
parent, how would they tell youto say it instead?

(15:51):
For example, I do make mistakes, but I can learn from them.
Sometimes I don't choose to dothings the best way, but I can
practice to learn differently.
So what the kind parent is doingis sharing with that child part
of you how to say it differentlythat allows you both to have

(16:17):
mistakes, learn from them, growfrom them, and become a
different person.
What I want you to do is come upwith a phrase about the kind
parent teaching that youngerpart of yourself how to say
things differently to you whenthings come up that might be
difficult.

(16:38):
It becomes that internal voice.
One of the things that westarted with at the beginning of
our reading from the fairy cardwas beginning to trust your
connection with the divine andyour inner voice who guides you
inside.
And when you develop that trust, there is nothing on the outside,

(17:03):
no matter how negative thatpeople tell you, that you just
don't have to believe it becauseit's not true, as long as your
connection with your inner voiceis sharing with you that this is
the path that you're on.
And the path might change rightas your inner knowing changes.
And part of developing our voiceand listening to it is hearing

(17:27):
that young part of ourselves.
And so the kind parent is like, hey, we're on this road together
as a family, and we have to knowthat the unknown is part of our
path.
So when you notice that yourchild self is having those
thoughts, begin to bring in thekind parent to ask them to see

(17:52):
things a little bit differently, you know, and work through that.
And so, what I want to do isbring those three together and
again do another three alms inorder to continue activating our
throat chakra.
So I'll have you do three almswith me again, um, bringing in

(18:14):
the resonation, imagining thatit's also the voice of your
younger self and your kindparent.
So I'll have you bring yourhands again together in Anjali
mudra with fingers or thumbs atyour chest, closing your eyes.

(18:36):
And we'll do three ohms, takinga deep breath in.

(19:36):
So now the other voice thatbecomes present besides our
self-talk is our creative voice.
What I want to talk about is howwe express our creative voice.
From his book CreativeAuthenticity, Ian Roberts writes

(19:58):
this.
Own your creativity.
You are creative with the samejuice that flows in all of life.
The question is not whether youare creative enough, but whether
you will free yourself toexpress it.

(20:20):
So my question to you is, if youlooked at your voice as a
creative part of yourself, isthere something that you want in
this moment to create orexpress?
Like, is there something in yourlife now that you're wanting to

(20:40):
create or express?
Now, taking this time to eitherjournal or meditate what comes
up for you with this questionfor the next minute.

(21:55):
Now, with this question, takingyour time over the next minute,
allowing yourself to connectwith it either by journaling or
through meditation.
Allow yourself to connect withit in this silence.

(22:56):
How can you care for it orsupport it as you're working
with it?
So, in what way can you care forit?
So I'll have you name that too.
How can you care for it?
And now, with this third andfinal question, taking your time

(23:16):
now in this moment of silence toeither journal or meditate.

(24:25):
Like you can listen to me do itbecause I'm also gonna aim with
the track, but it helps youpersonally, physically,
spiritually, your voice to beactivated.
So I encourage you to aim withthis track with me.
So now again, what I'm gonnahave you do is imagine that

(24:46):
you've taken this idea orcreative part of yourself that
you're bringing voice to.
And I'll have you aum with mewith this track again to
activate your voice chakra andencourage that part of yourself
that is caring for your creativevoice.

(25:08):
So I'll have you bring yourhands together in Anjali Mudra.
Thumbs in front of your heart, and just gently awing with this

(25:30):
track.

(27:46):
And exhale.
Open your eyes when you'reready, releasing your hands, and
allowing that energy from theawning to move in and around
you, and also imagine that itgives you the inner support and

(28:08):
strength you're needing to stepinto being that creative part of
yourself.
And so now what we're gonna dois kind of come into a space of
now taking all those things thatwe named our self-talk, the
child part of ourselves, ourkind parent, our creative voice,

(28:30):
seeing that those are all partsof us, that we're not just one
thing.
And so now I'm gonna offerReiki, channeled from Archangel
Gabriel.
So why Archangel Gabriel?
Archangel Gabriel is the angelwho focuses on communication,

(28:52):
music, poetry, and art.
He's all about the voice or theexpression of the self through
all these creative ways andthrough communication.
Archangel Gabriel reminds me ofbeing that angel that protects
the throat chakra.
And because your voice and yourcreativity is an instrument,

(29:16):
then Archangel Gabriel can behere to bring blessing to that
voice that you have and helpingyou support it in all the ways
that you want to bring it tolife.
Before we do the Reiki session,um, and I'm gonna do this
through drumming, is first I'dlike you to name a blessing or

(29:38):
an intention you would like yourvoice to receive today from
Archangel Gabriel.
What's a blessing or anintention that you'd either like
to set or to receive around yourvoice or communication with
Archangel Gabriel through theReiki session?

(30:00):
So I'll have you either speak itout loud where you're at, or you
can journal it.
So, what's a blessing or anintention you'd like to receive
today for your voice.

(30:30):
If you imagine that when I drum,um today it's Archangel Gabriel,
his energy coming through togive blessings to your voice.
When it's done in that way, soin a reiki form, that it's free
will.
So you have to say yes thatyou'd like to receive it so that

(30:54):
you are accepting.
I do want to receive that energyfrom Archangel Gabriel.
So I'll have you say yes ifyou'd like to receive the energy
from Archangel Gabriel.
For the Reiki part, you caneither stay in a seated position
if you want to move into a lyingdown position so you're in just

(31:16):
a place of receiving whateverfeels most relaxing for you.
So I'll have you do that now.
And then once you're in thatcomfortable position, then I'll
have you close your eyes, beginconnecting with Mother Earth
beneath you, whose strengthholds and supports you and

(31:43):
surrounds you, and taking a deepbreath in, bringing in that
energy of strength and supportfor your body, and exhaling.
And now imagining that ArchangelGabriel is sitting with you,

(32:10):
gently placing one of his hands, just gently touching,
momentarily activating thatthroat chakra.
And then just imagine that he'seither gently holding your feet

(32:31):
or your back and beginning tochannel his energy in and around
your body to activate your voicethat resonates through your
whole body, and that he bringsthat light of the soul self of

(32:51):
the fifth dimension through yourcrown chakra, all the way down
into your throat chakra.
So that when your voice isactivated, it comes from that
place of connecting with yoursoul, bringing that wisdom and

(33:12):
discernment of knowing when andhow to use your voice and in
what form.
And just allowing theseblessings to come through to you
from Archangel Gabriel throughthe drumming.

(37:13):
And just thanking ArchangelGabriel for being with us
tonight, for gifting us with hisenergy in order to help us grow
our voices and our our innerself.
And what I'll have you do iswhen you're ready, open your

(37:35):
eyes and come back to thispresent moment with me.
And just coming full circle.
What I'd like to do is close thepractice by doing three alms
together as a way of creatingthat full circle.
So again, I'll have you takeyour hands into Anjali Mudra,

(38:01):
your thumbs at your sternum andheart, closing your eyes,
connecting with not only yourphysical voice, but the voice of
your soul.
And then the energy of ArchangelGabriel.

(38:22):
And we'll do three alms.
Taking a deep breath in.

(39:15):
And opening your eyes.
Thank you, everybody, for beinghere tonight for our practice.
I'm grateful for everything thatyou shared with each other.
I appreciate it.
Thank you so much for joining meon this guided journey.

(39:36):
Thank you for spending time withyour own soul, voice inside of
you.

I'm grateful that you've beenhere.
I'm Shannon, and you'relistening to Starseed Evolution.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
