Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hi, thank you so much
for joining me today.
I'm Shannon and this isStarseed Evolution, bringing the
wisdom and insight of thecosmos to you.
I'm grateful that you'relistening.
I'll start today by talkingabout what we did in our last
(00:24):
episode so that we can talkabout what we're going to do in
today's episode.
In our last episode, we spenttime talking about the
importance of guided meditationand how it can be helpful in our
healing journey.
Because we spent that timetalking about guided meditation
(00:46):
and how it's created, how ourmind uses that technique in
order to heal or relax, findcomfort or to ground, it only
makes sense that then in today'sepisode, we'll actually be
taking a guided journey together, and if you remember the bear I
(01:10):
spoke about in episode 4, sheactually appears today in our
guided meditation.
If you haven't listened toepisode 4 yet, I encourage you
to go check that out and thencome back and take this journey
with me and nature and our bearfriend.
(01:32):
The naturalist and founder ofnational parks, john Muir, said
this the clearest way to theuniverse is through a forest
wilderness.
Now I'd like us to move into aguided part of nature, coming to
(02:08):
a place that is peaceful, grounded and connected with our
Mother Earth.
I hope you enjoy this guidedjourney.
Take time now to move into acomfortable connecting with
(02:58):
Mother Earth beneath you and, from this connected place, take
a deep breath, in moving thebreath up through your body to
the top of your head andexhaling gently and completely.
(03:18):
Take one more deep breath, infilling your lungs with the air
(03:39):
around you and exhaling fully, and you notice that with each
breath you take, your bodybegins to match the pulse of the
earth, connecting you with thisrhythm inside of yourself.
From this place of connection,I invite you to close your eyes.
(04:08):
You find yourself now standingin a place in nature, with trees
all around you welcoming you.
This place may be somewhere youare familiar with or it may be
(04:35):
somewhere new and imaginary.
Take time now to look aroundyou and become familiar with the
trees that welcome you.
You begin to slowly walkthrough the trees, exploring
(05:05):
this space, and the wind joinsyou now, blowing gently through
the trees.
It touches your skin, movingacross your shoulders, welcoming
you, shoulders welcoming you.
(05:26):
And as the wind swirls aroundyou once more, your body feels
the temperature of the air inthis place, cool or warm upon
your skin.
Take time now to see what thatfeels like.
(05:57):
Now you begin to hear the birdsin the canopy, in the trees
overhead, all talking at once toone another, their song,
creating a symphony of lightthrough the air.
There seems to be one bird inparticular calling to you more
(06:26):
loudly than the others.
You follow the voice of thebird.
You can't see it yet, althoughyou scan the trees, you begin to
walk forward through the forest, listening to the song of the
(06:48):
bird who calls you in.
And as you walk through thisforest of trees, you look up,
seeing bits of blue sky andnoticing clouds drifting
(07:13):
overhead.
Take a moment now to see thesky and the clouds.
Your bird companion beginscalling you again, drawing you
(07:50):
forward deeper into the trees, and now, in the distance, you
see it dancing upon one of thebranches in the trees overhead.
As you move closer to the treethat your bird companion is
(08:16):
perched in, notice now what typeof bird has joined you.
What color is it?
How big is it?
How big is it and what does itssong sound like to you?
Take this moment now to see, feel and hear and connect with
(08:39):
your bird companion.
You walk forward to standbeneath the tree that your bird
is in and as you do, your birdcompanion flies down and lands
(08:59):
on a large stone next to yourfeet.
Near the stone, you notice thatthere is a large open space on
the ground.
Your spirit bird now begins tofly back and forth between the
(09:22):
stone and open space, drawingyour attention to it.
You realize that your spiritbird wants you to sit down in
this space.
As you walk to where this spaceis open, you realize that you
(09:48):
are carrying with you a pack onyour back.
You reach around, taking thepack off and finding inside of
it there is a blanket.
You take the blanket out, unfolding it, noticing the
(10:13):
colors and images that are onthe blanket as you lay it down
on the ground.
You now sit down on the blanket, making yourself comfortable
(10:48):
and, as you do, your companionbird now flies over to your
shoulder and she begins to singher song in your ear.
You thank her for showing youthis place, for being here with
you.
Your spirit bird now flies backup into the trees overhead and
(11:13):
you begin to make yourselfcomfortable in this place, in
this forest, among the trees.
And as you feel yourselfconnect to the ground, you
notice beneath you that rootshave grown up from the ground
(11:38):
and now are underneath you, supporting you, holding you.
You reach your hand down, placing it on the roots beneath
you.
They are strong and connectedto the whole system of trees
(12:01):
around you.
In your imagination, you closeyour eyes, taking a deep breath
in inhaling the strength comingfrom the roots up through your
body, strength coming from theroots up through your body, and
(12:27):
exhaling, moving this breathback through you and down into
your roots.
In your imagination, when youopen your eyes, you look and see
that a new tree has grown upbehind you.
You lean back, finding that thetrunk of the tree supports you
(12:57):
and as you lean against thetrunk of your tree, you look up
into its canopy.
Take time now to see what kindof tree has joined you.
(13:24):
What do his or her branches andleaves look like?
How tall is your tree?
Take this moment now to connect, connected to the ground, the
(14:01):
roots, the tree.
You are grateful for this day, feeling the energy of the life
moving through you, andsomething out of the corner of
your eye catches your attentionand you look over.
(14:22):
It is Mama Bear, just waking up.
Ambling through the forest, shecomes over to you and sits down
next to you.
Her fur is warm against yourskin.
(14:43):
You reach over and place yourhand and arm on her side,
resting it against her body.
Her fur is soft under yourfingers and her strong heartbeat
(15:08):
under the palm of your hand.
Mama bear, who is unguarded, isstrong and protective.
(15:39):
She is the strength of yourspirit.
Sitting next to you, you feelher strength moving inside of
you, lifting you up, feeling herprotection surrounding you.
(16:00):
From the canopy of trees aboveyour spirit bird flies down once
more and lands on Mama Bear'sback, resting back, resting,
(16:23):
closing your eyes.
You breathe in the energy ofyour tree and her roots, the
energy of the earth she hasplanted, in the energy of Mama
Bear and her support, the energyof your spirit bird, all
holding this loving space foryou.
(16:52):
Now you focus your attentionfirst on the tree and her roots,
first on the tree and her roots.
You notice that your tree isgrowing new leaves.
The colors are vibrant andlight in the sunshine, with your
(17:19):
back leaning against the trunkof your tree, you now take time
to ask your tree if there areany messages that she would like
to share with you in thismoment Words, songs, feelings or
(17:41):
colors.
Does your tree share with youthat you need to hear right now?
Take this moment to listen, take a deep breath in and exhale
(18:28):
, thanking your tree and herroots for sharing with you.
Now you begin to focus yourattention.
With Mama Bear, your hand stillresting on her fur, you ask her
(18:50):
if there are any messages thatshe would like to share with you
in this moment.
Now she lifts her head, turnsit towards you and your eyes
connect with hers and in thisconnection, you hear the
(19:10):
messages she shares with you.
Listen now.
Listen now.
(19:39):
Take a deep breath in andexhale.
You thank Mama Bear for sharingthese messages with you today.
Now you lift your opposite handinto the air.
(20:07):
In front of your face, yourcompanion bird flies over and
lands lightly on your hand.
She begins to sing a new songto you and, as she sings, her
(20:30):
song sends you a message thatyour spirit understands.
What message does she sharewith you through her song.
Take time to listen now.
(21:02):
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
You thank your spirit bird forher beautiful song.
She lifts lightly off of yourhand and flies back into the
(21:24):
forest of trees.
Your hand, from which your birdhas left now empty, moves down
to the ground, your palm restingon the cool, strong roots
beneath you.
You feel the connection of theearth moving from the ground
(21:52):
through the roots into your body.
This rhythm and strength, thiscurrent is strong.
Through this connected rhythm,an image arises in your mind
(22:15):
showing your place in this world, showing your place in this
world.
What image do your roots sharewith you?
(22:41):
Now Take a deep breath in andexhale.
You thank your roots forsharing with you today.
Mama bear now stands up andstretches.
(23:01):
She turns to say goodbye to youas she moves back into the
forest of trees.
You now stand up in the placewhere you are and begin
(23:24):
stretching, and as you stretchyour arms and legs, you see that
the tree who has joined you inthis space begins to slowly
vanish back into the earth, theroots also moving back
(23:47):
underground.
Once more, pick up your blanket, shake it off, fold it back up,
placing it back in your pack.
(24:11):
After placing your pack on yourback, your bird companion flies
down once more joining you.
Companion flies down, once morejoining you.
She flies past you into theforest from the direction you
first came.
You follow her back out throughthe trees and as you leave the
(24:34):
forest, you take with you thewisdom that has been shared with
you, the wisdom of your tree, her roots, your spirit, bird and
mama bear.
All of these pieces storedwithin you for your journey,
(24:58):
stored within you for yourjourney.
You are grateful, knowing thatyou can come back to this place
anytime you need to.
It will always be here for you.
And as you step out of theforest, your bird companion
(25:19):
sings a quick goodbye to you andflies back into the trees.
You take a deep breath in andexhale and when you are ready,
(25:42):
you open your eyes, findingyourself back in this present
moment.
Thank you again for joining mein this guided journey into
nature, connecting with MotherEarth, with the gentle silence
(26:02):
inside yourself, and forspending time with me.
I hope that you found thismeditation grounding, peaceful
and calming, and may the rest ofyour day feel centered and
connected with all the life thatis around you and may your
