Tara O’Brien has helped thousands of students, teachers, and families overcome the challenges of growing up with ADHD. She’s been successful because she lives it every single day with her husband and children who have ADHD, gifted, and anxiety diagnoses. Between home and school, there’s not much she hasn’t seen, and her approach to living with and loving people with ADHD empowers people to take control of the only thing they can in today’s chaotic world; their own mindset.
Tapping into her formal training in education, graduate degrees, and 20 years of experience, along with thousands of hours of mindset, facilitator, and leadership training, Tara shares practical strategies to use immediately and puts people at ease with a down-to-earth style. When not speaking or coaching, Tara can be found creating delicious gluten and dairy-free vegetarian meals for her family, snuggling with her dog, Maddie, or ticking off her personal quest to visit every National Park in the country.

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
