My guest this week on Starting Out started standup at 19 years old, and has been at it 12-years with not one but TWO comedy albums under his belt - “Talking Reckless” and recorded during the pandemic, “I Am Their King”. It’s Alberta native-now-Toronto-resident Alex Fortin. Alex has one of the wildest first set stories I’ve ever heard and I’m so glad he told it as he had been embarrassed by it for years, but it’s bonkers. Alex has appeared at The Okanagan Comedy Festival, The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas, The Edmonton Comedy Festival and The Dirty Bird Comedy Festival in Ottawa.
