Those are the three best teams maybe overall in football.

of a round robin there in the NFC. It's possible,

and now the Eagles have to face the Bears a

last year Denver went to Buffalo in the first round
of the playoffs in the two seven matchup, they got
blasted by the Bills.

strange how this is kind of open up for the Bills,
but the same time people don't talk about the Bills,

they it could be there for them, right, It would
be kind of a rock after all the years they

a point, I guess the Chiefs are always there, but
this is the year they're kind of sneakily at the

So what is the that's gott to be the longest
stretch of Steeers have been without an EFC title game.
At this point, the Steelers still lead the despite not
making nine years that the more most AFC title gameing
appearances of any team.

Well, they're going about to add to that in what
two three weeks time when they get there to face
the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, the Bills will be representing the
AFC though in the Super Bowl. So I guess Alan
is going to do the Superman thing at least three
straight times and run through the AFC. You know, as
Al has shown me here with his bracket and how

it's broken down, it is so wide open. And if
the Steelers and the Bills get out of that first
round matchup, the Steelers specifically, it really can't open up
for them.

They've already beatn New England in the regular season.

It's really unlikely you'll see Buffalo in the second round.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
Yeah, it would. Yeah, if that happened, you'd be well,
the Chargers would have to win. It would be a
home game at least for the Steelers. The Chargers would
have Chargers wn't have to win. That is kind of
the Yeah, I don't expect that to happen, but yeah,
I don't know. It's the matchup with Jacksonville would be scary,
as I put him as the two seed, but Jacksonville
wouldnt wouldn't be there, at least.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
They would not.

So who will they be meeting? The Buffalo Bills in
the Super Bowl? On the NFC side, the number two
Chicago Bears versus the number seven seed Green Bay Packers. Okay,
so they're able to exercise their demons. They're able to

finally punch back at big Brother in a game that
really matters as far as their rivalry series is concerned.

So it's Dampsey against Offermen and the Robots.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
It's like, uh, you think the Packers are gonna win?

No, I just think you're right. I don't Okay, I'm sorry,
But and the Bear you love the Bears. I've always
been down on the Bears all season.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
But you don't buy into the Packers. I don't. Yeah,
I'm telling you, if the Packers were going to Philly,
if the Packers were maybe not Carolina, but if the
Packers were going to Philly, it would be like slam
dunk over see you later, Green Bay lights out. And
that's how I should feel about the Bears. Because the
Bears beat the Eagles. The Bears, you could argue, are
better than the Eagles. I mean literally, they're the two seed.
But it's that mystique that I can't get over. But

that's the human side of me, right, that's why we
have a right that he takes the human element out
of it and just says Bears they're a better team.

the Niners. Four and a half points spread in this one.
That's a pretty steep spread as far as I'm concerned.
I take the Niners with the points, but I take
the Eagles win and buy a field goal.

Yeah, that's probably that's where I'd go with it too.
I'm surprised that you're giving me that. I mean, the
forty nine ers thing. They certainly didn't bathe themselves in
glory offensively and their their final regular season finale there,
and they made the path a lot lot harder because
of it. So I don't know where they're out that way.
They're facing aother good defense. But at the same time,
give me this four and a half points.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
I'll take them Panthers and Rams the four to five
matchup in the first round. The Panthers just beat the
Rams in Carolina a few weeks back. Al, did you
take that into consideration? I bet you did.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
When there is a Los Angeles.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
He took it into consideration and he threw it out.
He threw it right back in my face and said,
I don't care about that. So he's picking the Rams
to beat the Panthers in round one and move on.
The Rams need this badly because they are playing terrible
football right now. Enter Carolina, the weakest team in the
playoff field. Maybe a rare, get right game that presents
itself in a wild card round of the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Wow wow, he put those terms. You're really disrespecting the
Panthers in that way. But it might you would like
to see because I mean, I think still the Rams
might have the best roster top to bottom in the NFL.
So if they show if they showed me something on Saturday, yes,
and blow out the Panthers, maybe they're back to be
in my super Bowl favorite.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
The second round, the divisional round for the NFC Seattle
one seed versus their division rival the five seed l
A Rams.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Was a right game.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
I want this matchup. To put it this way, if
I don't get either Rams Seahawks or Niner Seahawks in
this playoff, if I don't get one rubber match out
of those games, I'm gonna be severely disappointed. That's the
best division in football. You could argue, maybe not anymore
with other Rams are playing, but you could still argue it.
Those are the three best teams maybe overall in football.
(13:55):
Rams in Seattle have played epic classic at games this year.
I want to see number three and I would not
be surprised if the Rams go to Seattle and win.
And by the way, according to al both one Seeds
go down first time they play.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
Want and done that I was, and there are There
certainly is a scenario where you could have three of
the final four the NFC West, right that that would
be something that you can't get all obviously can't get
all four. You're gonna you're gonna have an af NFC
Nord team in the UH in the final four of
the conference, for sure. So and it could it could
be and that I mean, that's been the best division
of football all season long, or at least, you know,
(14:30):
in terms of a top three and going to the
fact that all three of them were alive for the
one seed until the till what six days left in
the season, so you could see the forty nine Ers
Rams and kind of in Seahawks almost play a kind
of a round robin there in the NFC. It's possible,
although we're not because I'll said the Eagles.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
So right exactly, the Eagles already took care of the Niners,
and now the Eagles have to face the Bears a
rematch there, except this time it's going to Soldier Field
where it was at the Link on Black Friday when
the Bears went into Philadelphia and a huge statement by
beating the Eagles, will they sweep the Eagles this year
and go to and zer against.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Them when there is the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
So the Eagles give a little humble pie to the Bears.
They say, you guys are ascending. You guys are probably
going to get there in the future, in the near
future maybe, but the champs have a little bit more
to say as far as this playoff is concerned. So
defense probably carries the day for the Eagles. They go
on the road and they beat the Bears and Soldier Field,
and they returned to the NFC Championship Game for what
(15:33):
would be the third straight season there. Remember they lose
to the Niners the year prior to beating the Chiefs
in the Super Bowl in the A in the NFC
Championship Game.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Wow, okay, so they would have played. They've been in
the Yeah, they've been there a lot.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
They were four straight NFC now that I'm thinking back, and.
Speaker 4 (15:49):
They haven't because they're I think they were in the
Super Bowl two of the last three years. But in
the middle there they tanked on the stretch and lost
in the first round to the Bucks.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Yeah, right now, I don't know. I'll look at it
you who cares. I can look it up for you
either way.

Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. Yes, taking on the Rams.
This was the best matchup of the playoffs last year.
This was the best chance. It was the Bucks. I
was right, Holy crap, Baker, this was the best chance
to dethrone the Eagles last year. I guess they weren't
on the thrown yet. So the best chance to stop
them from getting to the Super Bowl last year was

the Rams game in Philadelphia. It was, So this is
kind of a cool rematch that Al is telling us
that we're going to get in the NFC Championship game.
Now this year five seed rams, three seed Eagles. Who's
meeting the Bills in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
Philadelphia?
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Oh boy, the Eagles are going all the way back.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
So if you go by the conference championships, the seedings
are three, four, five, six. No, not a one or
two made it from the into a title game.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
And you know what, Al, that makes a lot of
sense because this has been dubbed as one of the
most wide open years that we've had in a while.
So why not have all these different seeds kind of meeting, right?
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Yeah? And I wouldn't. Yeah, Ali make a lot of sense.
And I'm not just kissing up to him so he
doesn't destroy me.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Eagles use their defense get back to the super Bowl.
They face the Buffalo Bills Philly, Buffalo. Who wins? We're
about to find out who the super Bowl champion is.
Oh Josh Allen. Josh Allen gets it done this year,
all time great status, achieved Hall of Fame. I mean

he's already going, but just locked even more.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
I said a vision of the epic parade in Buffalo,
Orchard wherever they would do it at because I imagine
those fans would come out.

I can't imagine parade.

You imagine what that would look like up there.

Well, Buffalo fans, it's been spoiled for you. You're gonna
win the super Bowl. But enjoy the ride anyway. I mean,
the journey is what really matters. The destination is whatever.
We already know we're getting there. But enjoy the journey,
Buffalo over the Eagles. Steelers fans, though, how the super
computer just said you're going to the AFC freaking Championship game.
