Still Here Podcast

Still Here Podcast

Hey everyone, my name is Alicia. I'm making this podcast to talk about my story of my mental health and to help others out with not giving advice or giving professional help but to give a peace of mind that we are ALL "Still Here" and to give an ear to lend when someone needs it. I want to help others not be alone and not be silent. I want everyone to feel heard because mental health is not something to be kept in the dark or silence when we should be asking fo help whether you're afraid to or not. In this episode of Still Here, we gently explore what mom guilt really is, where it comes from and how it often shows up in our day-to-day lives. We talk about the unrealistic expectations placed on mothers, the pressure to always be everything to everyone and the internalized belief that doing something for yourself means you’re falling short.

Still Here Podcast is to talk about Mental Health and that you are NOT alone. You are STILL HERE. This episode is just an introduction on what this podcast is about. At the end I mentioned if you would like to share your stories on one of my episodes to send me an email and of course I would put it anonymous if you don't want people to know who you are and I'd be glad to do so.
