"You can't really enjoy your life or enjoy anything in your life if you don't love yourself."
In this episode Kristina Mand-Lakhiani, co-founder of Mindvalley and the first guest on the podcast, discusses the importance of self-love and its connection to happiness, challenges the hustle mentality in society, and shares insights from her upcoming book, "Becoming Flawsome," which focuses on embracing your imperfections and showing up authentically. Tune in and join the conversation.
Kristina is also an entrepreneur, writer, speaker, philanthropist, and mother of two who has been engaging in the personal transformation industry for over 19 years. She explains that self-love is fundamental to enjoying life and finding peace in your body and your circumstances; it is crucial when you really want to be comfortable with who you are and your existence, just as you are. Since self-love allows you to enjoy your life, be confident, and satisfied, we can say that it is a necessary condition for personal growth, balance, and making daily choices that truly matter.
Having a relationship with yourself and working on self-happiness, sets the ground for accepting every bit of who you are, including the so-called flaws. Kristina uses the term "flawesome," to represent that state; being whole and being one with your virtues and your imperfections, overcoming self-doubt and shame.
The hustle mentality and being in the public eye, achieving your goals in front of others, can make it hard to spend some quality time alone and develop a true, deep relationship with yourself, however, it is an aspect of your life that cannot be ignored. Luckily, you already spend a lot of time with yourself. Tune in and learn how to up your game and improve the most important relationship in your life.

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
