SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hey guys, how's it going?
How was your weekend?
We just had Easter weekend hereand my kids had four days off at
home.
My husband had three days off.
And so we, unfortunately, wedidn't have any family around to
get together with, but we wentto a hockey game with the kids,

(00:21):
which was super fun.
And then we did our last skiday.
And ended up skiing on water atthe bottom when we were doing
the ski out.
Literally, we're skiing onwater, which was fun and scary
and...
you know, feeling like you'regoing to fall on your face any
moment, but everything was fine.

(00:41):
So that was fun.
Finally finished our ski season.
And what else?
And then my husband cooked upthis amazing Easter dinner,
which was so fancy, fancier thanmy birthday and Christmas and
all the things combined.
Just somehow accidentally, wecame up with that menu and we
had all the ingredients.
So Kids and I made cookies, soit was just an idyllic weekend

(01:07):
all together with the kids.
Of course, it was not thatidyllic.
We still had screaming andyelling and chaos and all the
usual things that happen.
So I wanted to just, it's ashort message for you today.
If you are a mom, a stay-at-homemom like me, and you are bored
because you're doing all thesame things I'm doing Like

(01:29):
cleaning and driving and cookingand driving and cleaning and
taking care of kids and cookingand all the things over and over
and over again.
And if you're getting bored, here's my solution that solved
that problem for me.
And I've also Googled it.
And the answers that I found arekind of all in the same topic,

(01:53):
same theme, is basicallywhatever you find a way to help
others, like help improvesomeone else's life or help
create something and thereforeimprove someone else's life.
Other than your children's, Ithink, because we already do

(02:17):
that with our children all thetime.
So some sort of creation andhelping others, basically,
whatever form it takes.
Even if you're not reallydirectly creating, but if you're
just helping making someoneelse's life better, somehow it's
going to give you Meaning towhatever you're doing, it's

(02:39):
going to give you that amazingfeeling of purpose, of meaning,
and you're going to feel reallygood about yourself.
You're going to feel excited andit's going to feel like purpose.
So this is what I'm selfishlydoing here.
recording this podcast becauseit is not only for you, it is
for me.

(02:59):
I do feel like sharing mystories does help you.
If it helps at least one personout there, then my job is
complete.
Then I treat it as a success.
And I have seen proof of that.
I know that I've helped you byjust sharing these stories.

(03:20):
So I love to do this and that'swhy I even came back to doing
this after five, six monthsbecause that is a solution that
fills my cup, fulfills me, feelsgood.
I do feel like It gives me moremeaning to what I'm doing.
I'm already taking care of sixpeople in our family.

(03:40):
I'm already taking care of fourboys, raising them, taking care
of myself, taking care of myhusband.
But doing this gives it thatextra depth, that extra meaning,
and connects me to you, to mycommunity, and I love it.
So that's my simple message toyou is, yeah, you're super
bored, but what can you do thatfits your life right now that

(04:03):
makes a difference?
that much, so much moreexciting.
That's all I have for you guys.
I would love to hear from you.
You can always email me.
You can always send me that textthrough the link thing in the
description.
I would love to hear how you'reimplementing these, how your
life is going, what's new withyou.

(04:23):
And I will see you in the nextepisode.
Love you.
Bye.
