It's a first for SRMB! The sibs couldn't get their sh*t together to watch the intended movie for this week ('Super Mario Bros.'), so in a rare one-off -- a curveball -- please enjoy a Mario-adjacent movie: 1989's 'The Wizard.' Mountains of nostalgia prevent any sort of objective review, but revisiting the premiere of Super Mario Bros. 3 proved to be exhilarating. And while Baby Fred Savage and Baby Jenny Lewis bring their classic charm, Eden and Sam can't help but wonder what this movie would look like in the hands of a David Lynch or a Gus Van Sant (hint: the darkest shit you can think of). There is no second and final segment of the show! But get ready for next week when the sibs finally tackle 1993's 'Super Mario Bros.'
