Voices for Justice Incorporated,our nonprofit organization that
has spent the last 15 yearsfighting for those whose voices
were stolen, silenced, andsimply ignored.

And I am your host, Annabel.
And today I wanna tell you.
How this all began, why westarted this movement, why we
refused to back down, and howstories behind the walls became
more than just a podcast.
It became a mission.

We didn't start as anorganization.
We started as a family, agrieving, angry, determined
family force to face the harshtruth that the justice system
doesn't always deliver justice.
In fact, sometimes it's a verysystem that causes the harm.
15 years ago, we were throwninto the storm.

We experienced firsthand whathappens when your loved one
becomes a case number, and whenthose responsible are shielded
by the very agency that aresupposed to protect and serve.
That was our wake up call out ofpain.
Voices For Justice was born anonprofit built on truth,

accountability, the relentlesspursuit of justice.
We made a commitment to stand upfor civil and human rights to
speak for those behind bars,behind walls, behind trauma, to
be loud when silence becamedeadly.
And now we bring you thispodcast stories behind the

walls.
This isn't just talk.
This is real.
We interview real people.
We expose real corruption.
We highlight real solutions.
We give the mic to those whohave been silenced families,
survivors, incarcerated,individuals whistleblowers and

truth tellers from inside thesystem.
And yes, we do call outcorruption.
When we see it, we will holdthem accountable.

When officials listen, whenaction is taken, when complaints
are investigated seriously, wewill say thank you because the
