It is the end of an era. My
empire has fallen to you, Chief
Daviticus the
destroyer. underestimating
your army will be the last mistake I ever make.

>> Dave (01:15):
I will give you a Warriors death
Maximus here on the
battlefield. Get on your knees and
pray to the gods as you prepare for the cold
steel of my cruel axe
Oh, and call me Dave.

>> Max (01:31):
Thanks, Dave. All
I ask is that you don't spread lies
about me when I'm dead. Remember,
history books are written by the winners.

>> Dave (01:44):
On the count of three. One,
two. Uh, hang on a
second. What? What did you say?

>> Max (01:53):
Don't spread lies about me.

>> Dave (01:55):
Uh, after that.

>> Max (01:57):
I just don't want you to tell people I wet my bed
or married to my cousin. History books are
written by the winners.

>> Dave (02:04):
Uh, that. That's it? I thought it was.
To the victor goes the spoils.

>> Max (02:10):
Well, Dave, I suppose both are
true.

>> Dave (02:15):
But I'm a transalpine barbarian from a
pre literate society.

>> Max (02:19):
Uh, and my team built the
aqueducts. But we still lost. You don't have to rub
it in.

>> Dave (02:26):
That's not what I meant. Max, look at me.
I'm wearing a necklace made of teeth and I'm
dressed like a bear. You're saying I have
to write a whole history book now?

>> Max (02:38):
Oh, U. Um,
yes. Yes, you're the winner.

>> Dave (02:43):
So, yes, with
citations

>> Max (02:47):
in text citations. MLA format. And it has
to be peer reviewed.

>> Dave (02:52):
That's definitely not why I got into
pillaging. When's it
due? Uh, I don't even have a library card.

>> Max (03:02):
By the end of the week. And if it's a day late,
the most you can get is a B-.

>> Dave (03:07):
Ouch. That's harsh.

>> Max (03:10):
Hmm.

>> Dave (03:11):
How do I get someone else to do this for me?

>> Max (03:15):
There's only one way. You have
to lose. If you
surrender your army, let me chop
off your head. Then I'll have
to write the long peer reviewed history
textbook with in text MLA citations. Due this
Friday.

(03:37):
Dave.

>> Dave (03:42):
Hang on, Max. Uh, I'm thinking about
it.

>> Ava Love Hanna (03:55):
