Alison was first published while in primary school and has worked on community and regional titles in the UK and New Zealand. She now hosts her own podcast, called Turn Up Your Volume, and contributes to others relating to her interest in Parkrun. Alison was the first woman to win a New Zealand regional sports journalism award.
