Let's dive in and start thistransformative journey together.
Welcome to the Story of Spiritpodcast.
So today we are going to talkabout astrology.
It is the love of my life.
That's not true.
My husband and my kids have alove of my life, but astrology
(01:50):
is a very close second third inthere.
I do love so many of my friendstoo, my soul sisters.
Okay, I love astrology so much.
Top five, top five on my listof all the things I love in the
world.
Oh, cheese is in there too.
Anyways, you get it.
Astrology is really, reallyimportant to me and you know,
the story of astrology reallygoes back to, you know, the day
(02:14):
that I was born.
I'm just kidding, but reallyit's truly.
You know the day that I wasborn.
The day that you're born, yourenergetic signature is held in
your body.
The energy coming on to thisplanet at the time that you're
born, at the time you take yourfirst breath, encapsulates into
your body and becomes yourfrequency in which that you walk
this planet and when you growand learn and you take on
beliefs and you take on patterns.
That frequency will ebb andflow with you, but your basic
(02:38):
energetic pattern signature iscovered in your birth chart and
you are an energetic beinghaving this human experience
here on this planet.
And when you take your firstbreath you come into incarnation
with your own energy signatureand astrology can see that
because the energy coming ontothis planet from all the
different planets at theplacement of everything at the
(02:58):
time you were born, creates you.
So of course you have soul, asoul in there.
You have free will to dowhatever you want.
You know, whatever you feel isright.
But the universe really sets youup on a path where you really
don't have, sometimes, choicesthat you are aware of.
So an example of that isuniversity.
For me, there was no other path.
(03:19):
There's no other timelineexists where I didn't go to
university.
My parents had said to me at avery young age you're going to
go to university right afterhigh school and I was like, okay
, yeah, makes sense, you know.
I mean, just I wasindoctrinated right from the
beginning.
So I there was no path for methat exists, that I'd never went
to university.
So that was you know, that'sthat I was meant to be in
(03:39):
university because I had parentsthat insisted on that.
It might shock you tounderstand that my brother,
who's five years younger than me, was never expected to go to
university, like never told thathe had to, had his own path,
went on a totally differentroute and now an actor in
Vancouver.
So it's so interesting how mysoul would have that experience
(04:00):
and in the astrology I have alot of energy around
certificates, learning, schooleducation in a hierarchical way.
Man, that's hard to say, andastrology affects us all.
It's like gravity, whether youunderstand it or not.
It is always in the background, and astrology has been around
(04:22):
for 24, over 2400 years, youknow before, even older than
Western religions like there's.
Hinduism is one is the oldestreligion on the planet,
everything else.
Astrology is not as old asHinduism, but is older.
No, it is older than sorry.
(04:43):
It's.
Hinduism is older than thanastrology, but not by a lot, and
so astrology has actually beenkept alive through the years by
being handed down throughdifferent philosophers,
different or um or uh.
The word I'm looking for iscivilizations as they were being
annihilated.
So it really came up throughthe Babylonian culture in
(05:06):
ancient Mesopotamia, and then itwas handed down through the
cultures and bodies of knowledgeand evidence was added to it
and planets as planets werediscovered, they were added to
modern astrology.
There's still what's calledHellenistic or ancient astrology
.
That doesn't take into accountthe newer planets that were
discovered.
So it's really interesting.
(05:28):
You know, even within astrologythere's many branches too.
So there's the biggest branch.
I would say well, there'sChinese astrology, there's Vedic
astrology and there's Westernastrology, and Chinese astrology
really takes into account fivedifferent elements.
It's very, very different.
And then there's Vedicastrology is based in different
cusps around the in the solar, out into the solar system.
(05:52):
Then Western astrology andVedic astrology is what I grew
up with in my family.
So I'm Hindu, I'm from, myparents are from India and I am
East Indian, and so Vedicastrology played a very strong
role in my upbringing.
Vedic astrology is very muchabout, like the auspiciousness
(06:12):
of naming your child, dates ofbirth.
What kind of energy do you have?
You know, signature wise inthat, picking auspicious times
for events.
Like everything is chosen bythe stars in vedic astrology and
in western astrology too.
If you know what you're doing, you know I I make choices based
(06:33):
on astrology all the time.
Because why not right?
Why not just give yourself aleg up if you understand the
energy that is, you know, bombarding this planet and
understanding your own energysignature and where, even where
in the world, you do well likethat's called astrocartography,
where we can see your chart onthe world and see where you
(06:53):
would actually do well and whereyou might find some more
challenges in your life.
I love astrocartography, by theway, I also do astrocartography
reading.
So if you're thinking aboutrelocating or wanting to figure
out your next place in the worldthat you want to live at, I
look at the last three or fourplaces that you've lived at or
where you've loved being in theworld, and then we look at where
(07:16):
are some other places you wantto go, and then I actually can
give out, give you, a printouton how, where, how your energy
will do in those places.
It's very cool.
Actually, it's amazing.
I found it to be extremelyaccurate.
I've done many readings overthe years.
I personally love it and noticethat it is actually very, very
accurate.
So astrology been around lotsfor a long, long period of time.
(07:39):
You know it's been around since24 BCE 2400 BCE so it's been
around for a very long timeolder than religion and yet
people are like, no, I believein Christianity.
But astrology, get out of here.
You know, it's like youunderstand that, like astrology
has been around and it's aboutthe study of the stars and the
interpretation of it and thedata collected around it is like
(08:02):
NASA data versus.
You know, the King James Biblehas been altered by a man who
was in power to give him morepower and so that he could do
the things that he wanted to do.
So the Bible of today has beenso altered that, you know, is it
even true of what happened?
There wasn't even writing atthat time.
It was handed down and thescripts have been interpreted
(08:24):
and shifted and changed.
There's so much.
When you look back into theorigins of religion, western
religion there is a lot therethat has been shifted and
manipulated.
So don't even get me started onreligions.
Are there good things in there?
Absolutely.
There is wonderful teachings.
It brings people together.
(08:45):
I really love how religionhonors the dead as well, with
funerals and last rites andthings like that.
I don't love the shaming andthe guilt and the manipulation.
You know, I'm just gonna besuper honest with that.
(09:06):
An essence, a source, aconsciousness that runs through
all of us and there is anintelligence that's here in this
planet, in this world, thisuniverse, and that we can tap
into these synchronicities.
You know, as above, so below,as within, so without.
So I really feel like if weunderstand the stars, we can
understand what's happening withus.
So even in recording thispodcast it is now Mercury is
just gone direct, venus is aboutto go direct in a couple of
(09:27):
days, and it is a time where Ihad to rerecord this podcast
five times.
I got off track, I told thewrong story, I had a coughing
fit.
You know, it's just everything.
It was just weird.
Like astrology is so accurateand I love, love, love it to
help us understand patterns, tounderstand what's happening with
(09:47):
us.
If you know, if I was to takethat personally and think like
man, am I?
I'm not cut out to be apodcaster, that's absolute BS.
Right, it's just the energy ofthe moment.
That's why I love astrology, because it helps us understand
what is happening in our lives, what is happening now for this
planet.
It gives us some context andclarity.
And what I love also aboutastrology is it can give us some
(10:09):
timelines, because it's notgoing to be like this forever.
The mind can make things seemso catastrophic.
So astrology came into my lifebecause I was lost.
My gifts were coming in.
My youngest was born about 15years ago and I did not know
what was happening.
I was trying.
I went to the doctor.
I went to an eye theophthalmologist no, optometrist.
(10:33):
Optometrist to see why was Iall of a sudden seeing auras and
spirit?
And they're like no, your eyesare perfect.
And I'm like I'm seeing aurasaround people in spirit and
they're like well, it's neverhappened.
I've never had a client likethat before.
He said I've never had apatient like that before.
But it could be connected toyour gifts.
And I was like, wow, becauseit's like your, your eyes are
(10:55):
completely normal.
And I was like thank you forthat.
It was funny because he juststared at me as I walked out the
door.
But I was trying to figure itout.
You know, I'm like what'shappening with me and a
girlfriend at the time said tome you know, a world class
astrologer lives here.
I'm like here in Edmonton, alberta, canada, a world class
astrologer lives here.
Like why, why would you chooseto live here?
(11:17):
And she's like I know, but Isee her when I'm feeling stuck
in life or feeling confused.
And I think you might want togo check her out and I'm like I
would love to.
And I checked out this lady, looked her up, she'd written 14
books, a pillar in the astroastrological community around
the world, you know, flew todifferent countries to proctor
(11:37):
exams and she was like like aguru, you know, in astrology.
She would cringe that I saidthat word with her for her.
So I went to get a reading fromher at 82 years old, you know,
she's this little tiny womanwith glasses that just she
opened the door and she's likehi, you know, I'm Chris.
And I was like hi, Chris, I'mSheetal, it's nice to meet you.
(11:58):
And she's like come on in,coming in, and she had this
little study that had so manybooks all around the room and
then she had two computers andthere was paper everywhere.
It was like a mad scientistroom.
And she's like sit down, sitdown, can I get you something to
drink?
No, I brought the water and soshe had my charts there and
she's she looks at, you know, inher glasses, at the, at the,
(12:22):
the chart.
She said what do you?
What did you say you do?
And I said I'm a sales rep inthe food industry.
And she looked up at me so fastover her glasses and she said
no honey, what do you really do?
I think I see dead people.
Like I think I think I havegifts coming in and she's like
yeah, that makes a lot of sense, and here's why.
(12:43):
And she started to point out allof my gifts and talents in my
chart.
And then she also talked aboutthe fact that I get headaches
and I get upset stomach becauseof when my energy doesn't have
an outlet, it ricochets backinto me.
And she showed me that aspectin my chart and I was like, oh
my God, how do you know?
And then she started to tell methings about my childhood, like
(13:05):
specific things y'all, and Iwas like, how do you know?
Like I'm looking athieroglyphics on a page and
these lines drawn all over theplace.
And she's telling me thingsabout me and I'm like what is
this secret language?
Like I need to know what thisis.
And she said to me which?
(13:26):
Like I need to know what thisis.
And she said to me really twothings that I needed to hear.
One is that I am a medium andmy gifts are coming in now.
And number two is that I haveno oppositions in my chart,
which is kind of rare.
And she said the only thingthat holds you back from
evolving or getting to yourhighest potential is you, so you
can ascend to any level thatyou desire, whether it's in your
(13:47):
community, whether it's in thecountry, whether it's the world.
She said you have a very giftedchart and it's up to you how
you want to express it.
And I remember thinking, holycrap, what do I do now?
So I'm like thank you.
I left there after about twohours, I like fell in love with
her and I realized, as I lefther house, I needed to learn
(14:11):
everything that this woman knew.
As, as fast and as soon aspossible, I signed up for her
level one astrology.
You know a basics class, youknow a basics class.
And I met her for six yearsalmost every week we just took a
break over the summers everyWednesday night in her living
(14:32):
room.
I was always a part of a groupof at least five, four to five
people that would meet and Ilearned everything that I could
from her every possiblespecialty, every possible thing
about the mathematics behind it,the theories that I tried to
sponge up as much as I could andeven then I only got a fraction
(14:54):
of what this amazing woman knew.
Only got a fraction of whatthis amazing woman knew.
And then I wrote mycertification exam under ISAR,
which is the InternationalSociety for Astrological
Research.
It is the hardest exam forcertification.
There are five majorassociations for astrology out
of the US and ISAR is one about.
It's very international andit's about research and
(15:17):
development and reallystandardizing and uplifting the
standard of astrology for theworld.
And I was like, yes, as a Virgo, I want that.
So I had to write a eight hourexam.
Oh my God, it was so long.
We had to take a break and shewas very strict about what we
(15:38):
can and cannot do and it waswild.
I had to have my ethics andconsultation skills and a past,
a past the exam it was.
It was like worse thanuniversity final exams, it was
worse than diploma exams.
It was so intense all thethings that I had to learn and
memorize and it was open book.
But because it was timed and,my friends, it was right minus
(16:00):
wrong.
So it was so, so difficult andI passed and I'm now an
astrologer ECAP sorry East HardCap, which is like the highest
certification for astrology inthe astrological world.
So I yeah, that's how I started, that's why astrology
(16:22):
captivated me so much.
And my, my beautiful, belovedteacher, um, crossed into spirit
during COVID at the age of 92.
And I got I feel like I got thebest 10 years of her life.
You know, she was just a lightand she would come alive.
You know, when she was teachingastrology and she said to me
(16:43):
one of her greatest, we becamevery, very good friends.
I love her so much.
She said one of her greatestsadnesses was that she never got
a degree.
And I was like, what?
You have more than a degree?
You have like a trilliondegrees with all this stuff.
She's like, yeah, but it's notlike a university degree.
And it just made me realize, man, you know how much we kind
(17:04):
of not throw away.
We yearn for what we don't haveand it I mean it really didn't
matter.
I kept telling her I'm like itdoesn't matter.
You, you have changed the worldmore than any.
My degree is is freakingbullshit, like I don't.
I have a business degree.
What did I learn?
Nothing really.
I mean all the basics andfundamentals of business, but I,
you know, not online business, not supply chain.
(17:27):
That was actually a degree.
Back then Really nothingapplied, where she had so many
applied things and she had justtaught her knowledge to so many
people.
She was just a light in my life.
So astrology, you know, becamesuch a powerful tool for
personal development andastrology actually does not like
(17:50):
being called a science becausethen there's sort of a lot of
scrutiny and a lot of judgmentthat comes along with it.
So it was very science like.
It does have a lot of its ownlanguage, its own symbols.
It really going to an astrologyconference is so much fun
because everyone speaks the samelanguage, and so I remember
(18:12):
going to my first, like big.
The biggest astrologyconference is called UAC.
It's the United AstrologicalConference, and all the five
major astrology associationscome together to put it on.
So all the associations havespeakers that are there, have
delegates that are there, alltheir own associates are there,
and so I went to the one inChicago I think it was 2017,
(18:35):
2018, something like that, andwe all have these badges that
you have to wear with your nameon it, and then it'll have your
2017, 2018, something like that, and we all have these badges
that you have to wear with yourname on it and then it'll have
your sun, moon and rising sign.
So those are called the trilogyin astrology, or your triad.
It's kind of this 70% of yourpersonality is contained within
those three planets or points, because the ascendant is a point
on your chart and you have tosort of so your badge has that
(18:59):
and then underneath you can drawthe symbols for what zodiac
sign those parts of your chartfall under, and as a Scorpio
rising, I was like meh, I don'twant to share that with everyone
.
Like it's a bit of a secret-ysign.
You know, I'm like I don't knowif I really want everybody to
know all my things.
So I just had my name and thenI had the.
(19:19):
You have to wear it to be inthe conference, so they know
that you're one of theconference members and you can
be in the areas where theconference is.
So I was wearing my badge and Ihad my name, but I had the sun,
moon and rising sign, thosesymbols, but then empty, empty
underneath.
(19:40):
So this older man who looks likeJesus you know, really old
Jesus came on.
You know, long white hair, baldon top, he had a Hawaiian shirt
on and he had glasses and along beard, like maybe not like
Jesus, maybe more like Gandalf, you know, and he looks at I was
already in the elevator going upto my hotel room, which was
like on a higher floor, and helooks at my badge and he's like,
(20:00):
oh, nothing written on there.
You must be a Scorpio rising.
And I was like, oh, you see me,like it was, like exposed it
was.
We laughed so hard.
I was like, accurate, I am aScorpio rising.
And he's like I get it.
You know, it was so funny.
I mean, it was just like aminute interaction, but I was
like man do I feel seen?
(20:21):
Because he knew exactly who Iwas.
Just from that, even my behaviorsaid you know it speaks loudly
and when you're speaking I cansee your astrological habits and
traits and characteristics.
It is so much fun, it is such awonderful tool to use for
understanding your own gifts andtalents.
And so as I went down my ownyou know understanding of
(20:42):
astrology and started to readfor others, I started to my God,
like there's so much you cangive and as a reader, I really
wanted to give you the tools tolook at your chart and see, what
does the, what do these mean?
You know what's happening foryou and what are your traits and
characteristics and your andyour struggles that are inherent
to your soul's time on thisplanet.
(21:03):
And then where is your lifetaking you in this next year of
your life?
So I like to look at both ofthose.
It's quite thorough.
You know, I've had otherreadings done from other
astrologers and I was like thisis nothing like I give so much
more.
But I mean again that Virgomind of mine, being very
thorough, very detailed, want tobe of service.
(21:23):
I want to give you somethingthat helps you see where you're
supposed to go.
So a straw or what's happeningfor you.
Give you some, not not whereyou're supposed to go, because
there's no supposed to.
You get to use the energy.
There are certain times in yourlife where all of a sudden
something shifts for you andyou're like I'm ready.
I'm ready for this thing.
I saw this in my massagetherapist at the time when I met
(21:47):
her.
She's just this beautiful light.
She's so spicy underneath whenshe, when you get to know her,
just love her still to this dayso much.
And when I first met her shewas married, no children.
Never going to have children inher life?
No problem, I have no judgmentsabout that either.
Which way you've got to be verysure on that choice, because
kids really take up a lot ofenergy and man can sap you dry
(22:10):
as someone who has teenagers.
So you know, bless if you haveteenagers that don't sap you dry
, be blessed.
So I met her and she's like I'mnot gonna have kids, you know.
No, I'm like, oh, perfect, youknow, so happy for you.
And I totally keep seeing herwith kids.
I know she's gonna havechildren, but that's not for me
to say and I really couldn'tcare less.
(22:31):
Whatever she chooses, shechooses, and I just hope she's
happy, whatever that is.
But I just kept seeing her withkids.
I'm like okay.
And then one day I had a massageand I said how are you doing?
And I could feel this elderlyman in the room.
I was just like I really try toturn off my gifts when I am
getting a massage, when I likeI'm not there to be of service,
(22:52):
I'm to be receiving a service, and I just could not shake for
the life of me.
This, this elderly man, is liketell her I'm here and I said I
cannot.
This is not the time.
He got through all of myboundaries and I said did you by
chance, um, recently lose agrandfather?
And she's like, oh, I waswaiting for you to say that.
(23:13):
And I said, cause he's here andis it okay if I give you a
message, like he's being verypersistent?
And she said she tell I wouldbe so honored.
So talked about, talked aboutthe things, and at the end of it
she said, you know?
She tell I can't shake it.
I know I need to have children.
There's something that hasshifted in me.
(23:34):
She tell like I just, I justwant to have a child so badly.
And I was like finally, youknow that it's here.
Like it's not that again.
No, she said that she neverwant to have kids and I felt
that no, she's not ever going tohave kids.
I've been like great, but Ikept feeling that she's going to
be a mother at some point inher life.
So now something shifted andwhen I looked at her chart it
(23:55):
was wild.
The planet had shifted.
A major planet had shifted intoher home sphere, her mothering
sphere of her life.
Because I eventually got herbirth time.
You know if I have asked foryour birth time and got your
birth information.
It is a love language, myfriends, like if I have your
birth chart in my phone, it'sbecause you are in my heart and
I care about you.
(24:16):
So you know, if you ever meetme and I ask for your birth time
, please feel so honored becauseI want to help you.
I want to see something thatI'm seeing in you in that moment
and corroborate it.
You know, like, oh, that's whyexactly that makes sense to me.
So, yeah, and at that moment, aplan, a major planet shifted
into her home sphere, hermothering sphere of her, of her
(24:38):
chart.
And you know, now she's gotfour kids.
This woman who swore she wouldnever have kids, as four
beautiful, beautiful children, left massage therapy and went
into counseling, which she issuch a perfect fit for.
I'm just so happy to see herlife has gone in that direction.
I haven't talked to her foryears.
I've seen her on Instagram andFacebook.
(24:59):
I hope she's listening.
But yeah, it's just wild.
Like that's the kind of stuffthat you can't make it up, like
astrology tells you that that iscoming, you know, and I could
see that exactly timed soperfectly for what was happening
in her life.
So astrology is really adivination tool.
I know astrology astrologerslistening to that might cringe
(25:21):
at that, because and why it's adivination tool.
So if you listen to my podcast, last Wednesday's podcast you
have heard about divination andit's a tool to to focus your
intuition, because in astrology, even the way that the chart is
going to operate, the signatureof the chart there are other
people who have the same charts, like there are.
(25:43):
Twins can have the same chart,as long as you know, within four
minutes, the house cuts changeone degree every four minutes
and so you know, twins areusually born, even if they're
even born, like two or threeminutes apart, the charts will
be very similar.
I have read twins that had thesame chart and yet their souls
express so differently, sodifferently.
(26:10):
So why is that chart not thesame for both?
They're not the same for bothbecause the energy signature of
the soul is different.
So that's why I call it adivination tool, because if it
was truly like a science, thetool would then say that this
chart should express the samefor both.
And yes, we have free will, which also can differentiate a
chart, and with twins they aretruly programmed very
(26:31):
differently from each other.
They tend to be opposites inmany ways.
So the chart, though, does notsay they're opposites, right,
even if they're choosingdifferently.
They both chose, like I readfor twins, where they both went
to university but they went intodifferent careers.
They went down different paths.
With that like it's wild.
So that's why I feel like it'sa divination tool, because you
(26:51):
need to use your intuition aswell, and we are uncovering the
chart with the client.
It's an, it's a consultation,right.
You're not just sitting thereand I'm not telling you.
It's not like a psychic onewhere I'm doing things, I'm
reading your cards and tellingyou all the things.
That's that's going on in yourlife.
It's a consultation.
It's like how does this expressin your life?
I see that you have achallenging experience with your
(27:12):
mom.
Tell me about your experience, your relationship with your mom,
and people always go oh my God.
And at the end of everyastrology session I hear I
literally hear from every client.
I feel so seen, thank you, because I also combine it with
my intuition, with my consultingskills, with my coaching, with
my grief counseling, because Iknow people don't come and see
(27:34):
me because everything's workingout, you know.
So it's, something is happeningthere, there's a need from the
soul, which we do that inpsychic readings.
We have become aware of theneed of your soul in that moment
.
So astrology can help you withthat.
And astrology has four mainparts to it.
So one is the planetsthemselves moving through.
Number two, the zodiac signsand the way that they talk to
(27:57):
each other, is three, theaspects.
And then the fourth part isyour chart itself.
So the first part, the planetsmoving through the zodiac signs,
the planets themselves, allhave their own energetic
signature and they representdifferent parts of our psyche.
So the sun represents ourdivine masculine.
It is our identity, it's theway we feel about ourselves, the
way we shine our light, it'sour vitality.
(28:19):
And then the moon is representsour divine feminine.
It's our emotional matrix, it'show we connect with people,
it's our instinctual actionbased on emotions in our lives.
It's also a connection to thewomen in our lives and to our
mothers.
So, as a, I love readingchildren's charts because the
moon sign in the chart will talkabout how your child will
(28:41):
relate to you as the mother.
And so interesting because Ihave one child who has a
Aquarian moon, so very muchfeels like I'm someone.
That's like esoteric.
He knows me as a psychic and anastrologer.
He tells his friends about meand so in his life I'm someone
that holds a lot of knowledgeand wisdom.
But I can also be very stubbornand idealistic in his eyes in
(29:05):
his eyes, right, even though Idon't feel like I'm like that.
For him, the way he relates tome as a mother is that way.
And then my youngest has aVirgo moon that is very
perfectionist and hard.
This child is so hard on himself.
I remember going to an artclass with him.
We did a mommy-son date and wewent for art because he's an
artist, and he threw his picturein the garbage and asked for a
(29:29):
new canvas because he didn'tthink it was good enough.
No one said that he actuallyhad a way better drawing than
mine, like way better than mine.
His proportions were so goodlike he's meant to be I am not
and he threw his picture in thegarbage and the the teacher came
over and she's like what?
What happened?
She was I need a new canvas,please.
And she's like what happened toyour old one?
(29:51):
And she took it out of thegarbage.
She's like this is actuallyreally good.
And he's like no, I missed thisstroke over here and this is is
disproportionate and this isnot what I want.
He was hard on himself.
I have never been hard onhimself like that, on him that
way, ever, ever.
And I don't talk to myself likethat around them, or I don't
even talk to myself like thatperiod, like I'm I'm a
Sagittarius moon y'all.
(30:11):
Like I'm okay with not hittingsome of the big details, like I
just want to get stuff done.
Sometimes he's very, very hardon himself and then he also
looks to me for, for service, for he's very caring, he I'm his
safety net in many ways and sothat that Virgo moon for him is
very different than the Aquarianmoon for my older child and the
(30:34):
way that they relate to theiremotions Also Aquarian and Virgo
very, very different from eachother.
That's part of their chart.
Knowing that I treat them in away that's much more like really
trying to erase theperfectionist tendency for my
older one and for the for thenote for the younger one and for
the older one, to sort of tryto counter the idealistic nature
(30:56):
or the, the way that he becomesa bit righteous about what he
thinks he knows, man, even withthe elections and stuff.
Like I'm like, could there beanother perspective here?
Like, could you open your mindto you know, maybe a nicer way,
you know a way to look at thisfrom somebody else's perspective
?
Because he can become quiterighteous, and so that Aquarian
(31:16):
moon makes me understand himbetter in that way.
My youngest one, not righteousin that way at all.
So interesting, right, when weunderstand charts, especially of
our littles, we can parent themvery differently as well.
And then the zodiac signs aretraits and characteristics.
Oh, I should also go back.
There is well, yeah, no, we'lltalk about that in a moment.
So the planets represent ourpersonality, sorry, our
(31:38):
different parts of our psyche.
It's parts of our psyche, partsof our body, parts of the way
we relate to people.
So Mars, inward, so Mars, venus, mercury, the moon and the sun
are all our personal planets.
They talk about our personality.
And then outwards, saturn,sorry personality.
(32:02):
And then outwards, saturn,sorry.
Jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune and pluto are all called
interpersonal planets.
They're the way that we relateto the world itself.
So then the zodiac signs aretraits and characteristics that
we will embody when we havethose parts of our chart in
those signs.
So you will have the zodiacsigns.
Every zodiac sign is in yourchart, it will occupy a part in
your, in your life, which we'lltalk about the chart in a moment
(32:23):
.
But when your planets are bornin certain signs, they will have
certain traits andcharacteristics.
So an Aries sun is fiery, it'sbold, it's sitting, it's, it's a
pioneer, it's going, it's theadventure, it's somebody who
needs to go first there's,there's an entrepreneurialness
around them, or somebody who's,like, willing to say things that
other people might not say, depending where their mercury is
(32:44):
.
And then, but if there was aPisces sun, pisces is water,
mutable, it's very feely, it'svery creative, it's very much
more passive, it doesn't reallylove to fight or argue, it
actually doesn't like conflict.
So you can see the energydifferences there are.
Every sign has a fire, earth, water or air signature to it,
(33:11):
depending on the zodiac signs, and every zodiac sign will have
its own.
We call it sort of mutability, cardinal, fixer, mutable, and so
they're called thequadruplicities, because there's
four signs in every one ofthose designations.
So the signs that start theseason Aries, cancer, libra,
(33:34):
capricorn those are all cardinalsigns.
So they have a starting powerabout them.
There's a CEO energy.
They see the bigger picture, but they don't really love a lot
of details.
That kind of sucks them dry, like they really want to stay in
creativity and, you know, making things happen.
They're sort of in front of thescene.
They like to get things going.
(33:55):
And then the fixed signs, whichis Taurus, leo, scorpio and
Aquarius.
They are, they've got stayingpower, they're determined.
You know they can be stubborn.
There's a lot of staying powerto get things done.
You know a lot of determination, strong willed, but what can
happen is then they can getstuck because they're kind of
(34:18):
rolling in the same stuff allthe time.
So moving forward needs a sparkfrom outside to get them going,
because they really like tostay in what they know.
And again, depending on whatsigns or what planets are in
these signs, that can change theenergy of your chart.
And then mutable signs are theones that end off season and
start a new season.
(34:38):
So that would be Gemini, virgo, sagittarius and Pisces are
mutable signs and these aresigns that can go with the flow.
They're really good in crisis.
They're multi-passionate.
They can't stay with one thingforever.
They really have this abilityto be flexible and dodge and
weave with things as they cometheir way.
But too many potentialsoverwhelm a mutable sign.
(35:00):
So I'm a Virgo, I'm mutable, Ican dodge and weave with change
and I'm great in crisis.
But, man, you give me fivedifferent logos to choose from
and I'm like, I don't know, Iwant them all, you know.
Like, give me a menu that hasso many delicious items.
I'm like, do you have a platter?
Like, could I have five of them?
So you know, finding the onething hard for mutable signs to
(35:21):
decide, so you might seeyourself in there somewhere.
And then how the planets relateto each other.
There are certain signs, certain aspects that they're
very good in relating to eachother.
They're harmonious.
We call those conjunctions, sextiles and trines.
And then there's ways to relateto each other that's a little
bit more difficult, which aresquares and oppositions.
(35:42):
So it's the sandpaper thatshines up the soul.
None of them are bad or wrong, they just are.
There's no such thing as a badchart and there's no such thing
as a good chart.
They're all neutral, allneutral.
And then when we look at thesign, the way that the chart is
laid out, it looks like a pie,so it's a circle, and it's
(36:03):
divided into 12 pieces of thepie, so each piece of the pie
has an opposition.
So the first house is the signon the eastern horizon at the
time you were born is the cuspof that house.
So the sign on the easternhorizon of the time you're born
is called your rising sign oryour ascendant, and that sign is
the way that the world sees you.
(36:23):
So it's not.
I've read in certain books andstuff that it's your mask that
you wear and it's so BS.
That's not.
I don't choose to wear thatmask.
It actually kind of makes meannoyed when I hear people it's
a mask, I'm like whatever, it'snot, it's a projection onto me
and so my rising sign beingScorpio, as you mentioned, I
never, you know.
(36:44):
My son is a Virgo, so I like tobe of service and my moon is a
Sagittarius.
So I am optimistic.
I am an outgoing person, I'm anextrovert, I love to hug people
, I love talking about all thethings and people feel very
comfortable with me.
It's.
I love humor, I love to laugh.
(37:04):
You know they're very, verySagittarius things.
So I feel like that aboutmyself.
Also, my moon is in my firsthouse, so the way that often
people see that right away fromme, but the Scorpio rising is
what actually people see aboutme, and so Scorpio rising can
look like intimidation.
She's got it all together.
She's intense, she's passionate, she's somebody that's
(37:25):
unapproachable.
I used to get that in highschool all the time and junior
high, literally, someone wenthome early because my boyfriend
cheated with her and she wenthome.
It's so drama.
Boyfriend cheated with her andshe went home early because's so
drama.
Uh, boyfriend cheated with herand she went home early because
she was scared.
I was going to beat her up,y'all.
I have never beat up anyone inmy life and I mean I had friends
(37:46):
that that had people you know.
So I was well protected but Inever beat up anyone and that's
literally.
She went home early and saidthat I was like girl, what are
you talking about?
And I got that my whole lifeuntil I learned about astrology
and I went oh, it's my Scorpiorising.
People get scared of me and I'mlike that's so interesting
(38:07):
because I'm not like that.
Like I literally will say toyou if you're at an event or
you're out and you see me, youknow I'm.
I love going to restaurants, Ilove having experiences.
I'm often speaking at festivalsand conferences and things like
that.
If you see me and you listen tothe podcast or you've taken my
class online, come and say hi, Iwill give you a hug, I will ask
(38:27):
you your name, I'll ask aboutyour story, like I want to know
about you.
I'm an extrovert y'all.
Like I literally am the one onmy social media, in my DMs,
asking you, know you how youdoing?
Or if you ask me a question,I'll answer.
That's me, because I love totalk to people.
But the Scorpio rising makespeople feel intimidated by me
and I realize it's a superpowerbecause it holds people away
(38:50):
from me that aren't aligned withme.
So it's a shield that I thinkthat my soul chose to help me
not get bombarded, maybe, or itfilters out the wrong people, if
you will, the people who aren'tready for me.
So, bless my Scorpio rising.
It also is a very intuitivesign and also makes me very
(39:10):
empathic and I can feel thingsin my body which I had to learn
how to use as a superpower.
And so those 12 pieces of thepie you know where they are, in
what.
What Zodiac signs?
You know there's 12 houses, sothere's going to be 12 Zodiac
signs on them, unless you use adifferent house system.
But we're not going to get intothe nuance of that.
So there, all of these parts ofastrology play a part in your
(39:33):
life, and if you want tounderstand your astrology, you
can go to astrocom.
Put in your birth information.
If you don't know your birthtime, it's okay, we just call it
a sunrise chart.
Then we put the sun on thehorizon, so we put the sun in
your first house and your risingsign becomes your sun sign.
So we that's how we writehoroscopes as well for
(39:54):
newspapers and magazines.
Um, it's's a fantastic tool tounderstanding just some
important things about you too,so you can learn about you.
I love astrocom because you canput it in.
It doesn't ask for your.
You don't have to put in youremail address and they'll
literally give you a blurb abouteverything about you and what
it says.
But it's not an astrologersynthesizing the chart, so take
(40:17):
it with a grain of salt.
It's going to give you atextbook meanings for all the
things in your chart, but if youhave something that's in
opposition to your ascendantyou're you're not going to feel
that ascendant Like.
I literally had a reading twoweeks ago for someone who's an
Aries sun, but because her sonis opposite another part of her
chart and there's other thingsthere that sun is hidden.
It almost doesn't feel likeshe's an Aries because she's so
(40:40):
scared to upset people, which islike the opposite of every
Aries I actually know, you know.
So it's like very interestingthat she's like I hear about
Aries but I don't.
I don't necessarily understandit, and I said, ah, because you
have this trauma over here andit likely came from your
childhood where you tried to bebold and you were shut down big
time.
And she's like how did you know?
So you know, we see things incharts that are just wild.
(41:04):
So I'm going to invite you topull your astrocom chart, take a
look at what it says about youand see if any of it makes any
sense for you.
Right Again, it's not anastrologer.
It can't take the place of anastrologer to actually
synthesize your chart.
You can't take the place of anastrologer to actually
synthesize your chart.
And if you're interested indoing an astrology session, I
encourage you to reach out to me.
Do not look in my onlinecalendar.
(41:25):
It is completely booked.
I books 120 days out, so, and alot of people book six months
in advance for an astrologysession because it's a two hour
session with me.
But I love to help you see yourtraits and characteristics.
You can also see your purposeand your mission in your chart.
You can see how you're meant tomake money in your chart, how,
(41:46):
if you're an entrepreneur, yourmessaging.
You know the way that youroffers are supposed to be like.
You can see everything in yourchart if you know how to operate
it.
If you're someone who loves totravel or thinking of relocating
, that's another reallywonderful branch of astrology.
With astro cartography, thereare many branches of astrology
as well, so you know what.
There's only so much I can talkabout in this show.
(42:07):
Otherwise it's going to be likethree hours long and I see I'm
already at 40 minutes, so I wantto thank you for listening.
I hope I've instilled in youmaybe a curiosity about what is
astrology and what does thismean for me and is this real?
Could it be real?
Yeah, it is, and I meandiscover that for yourself
really.
I mean, if you think it's BS,then it's fine.
(42:28):
Whatever, it doesn't affect me,and there's just so much
knowledge there that is so good.
Even your creative days.
One of the things I do for myastrology clients is you have
your creative days every month.
That are really where you'revery potently creative and I'll
get them to mark them in theircalendars and either take it off
or use it for creativity, andit is life changing y'all.
(42:50):
So there's some really coolthings, the timing that you can
see in the chart too.
So, wishing you a veryintentional and aware week ahead
and I will see you next week.
