Where do we start?
Bubba Dickerson is a legend. He grew up in Hilliard, FL and learned how to play golf at Deerfield Lakes Golf Club in Callahan. There are many stories from the past about golfers that dug it out of the dirt, but our guy, Bubba Dickerson, learned how to get the ball in the hole at young age on a course that is now a disc golf course.
After being named a Rolex All-America first team selection in 1997 and 1998, Bubba went on to become Golf Digest's fifth-ranked national junior player in 1998. His stellar high-school career carried over to the University of Florida, where he would win a natty, and later be crowned the US Amateur Champion at East Lake in 2001.
We've all played a lot of golf with Bubba over the years, and hope that you have as much fun listening to the chat as we did catching up with the old boy.
