Speaker 1 (00:00):
If you can wager on it. We're talking about it.
It's the Gambler, the Fox Sports Radio, The Gambler. Fox
Sports Radio in Philly is the Gambler, The Gambler, Philly's
home for all things sports gambling.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
We are no longer on the road. It's a WrestleMania
forty one.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
We are here.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
It is WrestleMania forty one weekend, and that means it
is time for the WrestleMania Roundtable. My name is John Jansen,
host of this along with three others, Nick Pacone and
Von Johnson, which you can hear on the Shooters Radio podcast,
and of course Jason Finelli as well, which you could

(00:55):
probably see at any of your video game media company.
He's probably there writing for them about something, reviewing something.
Jason does a great job, Jason Finelli. But resumeting forty one,
so we weren't talking a little bit, and Nick Pcone,
you're not. You don't seem too excited. Why is that?
I need to know? I need I need the people

(01:16):
to know why.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
It's supposed to be the biggest, like the biggest wrestle
media ever every year. Right, and now we're in Vegas,
and now we were expecting probably a year ago, something
having to do with the rock. It comes back, Elimination
Chamber is big presence. John Cena turns heel and then
nothing after that. We get too lame. John Cena promos.

(01:40):
I say lame. I mean like they weren't like terrible, terrible,
but all things considered, for all intents and purposes, where
we sit right now as we record this on April fifteenth,
it was lame. So and that's your that's your headlining
main event, Like forget about the Triple Threat Saturday night,

(02:00):
that still doesn't make any sense. And now it's all
about Paul Hayman who asked for this for who? For what?
There's nothing here that hits for me. Everything's probably gonna
be really really good, but I think, like, is the
Intercontinental title Master the one that I'm looking forward to
the most? Apparently? Yes?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Okay? Is this a sentiment that is shared throughout here
on the WrestleMania round Table? Is this not fun, no good,
boring WrestleMania to the rest.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
It's definitely way more boring than what it was last year,
and it's kind of weird. It's like for us specifically,
I understand that you know, the show was in Philly
last year, and that was part of our excitement. But
I feel like even going into even recent WrestleManias that
weren't in Philly, I felt more excited. Like the one
that was in la I remember being excited for that,

(02:55):
and this one is just like, oh, WrestleMania this weekend,
this weekend, look at that. And that's how kind of
how I feel. It's not like I'm ready to witness
the biggest show of the year, like you can feel
that like energy around like a main event, like we're
just supposed to feel around Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
It's not there right now, and it's not there, not

(03:16):
just for the main event, it's not there for a
lot of matches, just the whole vibe.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
It's just I don't know, something's missing.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Man.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
It's not like, oh, you have the Rock on the show,
and he's the he's a cure all like he solves
all the problems. Sure he would help I'm you know,
he helped out last year for sure, But it's not
like if you have the Rock on the show, all
of a sudden it cures everything. It's it's just a
company wide issue, right Now that's just not like it's
necessarily bad, and it's not like this wouldn't be bad

(03:45):
for like another show, like if this was No Mercy
or Clash at the Castle, we might be talking about it,
talking about it preing pretty good. But it's WrestleMania and
the bar has been raised from the last for the
last two years. You talk about WrestleMania thirty nine and
WrestleMania forty, I would say both of those shows had
a great build up and a lot of energy and

(04:07):
momentum heading into them, and they delivered on you know,
game day so to speak, you know, for lack of
a better term, But this one just doesn't have it.
And maybe the show, like Nick said, would deliver, but
going in it's missing some juice. Man, Like we said
on The Straight Shooters last week, just no juice.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, I think maybe no juice a little bit. But
how much of it does have to come down to
the fact that there have been long storylines that have
been happening, like the past two or three years, and
this one just it feels like last year was the
end of kind of some whatever era or a bunch
of storylines finished. The story is big for Cody Rhodes
and now all of a sudden, it's like they're trying

(04:49):
to build that back up again. But I think we
forget sometimes it like it is hard and it took
time even for WrestleMania forty something like that to happen,
So maybe we're in this period of it's going to
still take time to kind of get that juice back
or to kind of feel like there is something to
be paid off. And that's look, there still should be
some juice, there should be something to hold on to.

(05:11):
But I still I think it's a little bit of
that that it's just a little bit different than it
has been the past couple of years. But Jason, you're
usually optimistic a little bit. Are you optimistic about this?

Speaker 6 (05:21):
Maybe I think I might be optimistic comparatively in that
I'm kind of like apathetic. I'm not like super jazzed
about WrestleMania being this weekend, but I'm also not like
it's just kind of there. But I kind of had
a feeling, based on a being there last year and
the card that we saw and the things that happened there,

(05:44):
that this might be less enjoyable for me as a whole.
There's not to say that I'm not interested in some
storylines that are going on, and I'm hoping that some
people are, for a lack of a better turn, crowned
for the first time, like Jacob Pattu, I hope he
wins as much as I like La Night. I hope
Stratton beats Flair. I am sort of interested in the

(06:07):
Night one main event Triple Threat, rains Punk and Rollins.
I'm curious with the whole Paul Heman things going on.
I kind of like that scenario, and I think there's
a way that they can really book it very creatively
and kind of swerve people. But I'm getting a lot
of like from this booking and from this lead up
to this WrestleMania, And I don't mean this to be derogatory,

(06:31):
but in recent memory, I'm getting a lot of like
aw booking vibes in that the lead up to the
shows are not particularly great or interesting or like it's
repetitive booking or it's I don't want to say boring booking,
but it's just not grabbing me the way that it should.
But then the actual pay per view hits and the
matches are amazing, and everything ends, you know, the way

(06:53):
it should. And I'm kind of hoping that that's what
we're gonna get here. I'm hoping it's just a weird
lead up with maybe some things that didn't oh the
way they we're supposed to, and then when the matches happened,
everybody's like, oh right, yeah, this is fine.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
I think they need like some big finishes to like
some exciting finishes. They play it safe with their finishes
a lot, and you know, sometimes it's I'm okay with it,
but it's WrestleMania. You can't leave anything, you know in
the bag. You got to pull out all the tricks,
all the stops for WrestleMania. And another point, as far
as like comparing this year to last year when it

(07:27):
was in Philly, I don't have that fear of missing out.
I don't have that fomo for this year's show. Where
I could have had it, I might have had it
for LA I'm like, man, that'd been cool to be
out there for.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
This show, but not for this show. Sorry.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Just like and I guess what Jason said as far
as being you know, not really up or down, just
kind of apathetic to it, I think that kind of
sums it up for me as well.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Man just apathy.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, I think I think for me again, it's I
like the scene of Thing. I like the fact that
Cody Rhodes is still going in very hot and Jay
Uso is like this, really, I guess polarizing to a
certain extent, polarizing for part of the w W crowd
and not for most of I would say the w
W E crowd that seems to really love the Yeat
movement and things like that. But yeah, it's it's stuff

(08:12):
that I'm interested in. I just again, I don't think
it has the longer build that some of the other
ones had, so it's gonna take maybe take some time
to warm up to it, or the matches get there
and everything's fantastic, and you know, the triple threat match
ends up being really good in night one and in
night two. You know, we do get the usual shenanigans
we see in a main event for WrestleMania, especially like

(08:34):
last year, and The Rock was somewhat involved in the
scene of Thing in Curdied Roads Thing this year, so
I imagine there could be something like that. But yeah,
it is more of a just wait and see, but
going into it, yeah, even I'm a little bit less
interested in everything that is let up to the night,
but I know that once it gets there, I am
excited about some of the matches. Let's get to the matches,

(08:56):
by the way, because we have a ton to go over,
so let's just get to that right away. So first
we'll start with Ray Mysterio against El Grande Americano. Yeah,
I don't Ray Mysterio. I guess right, Nick, Maybe.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
We'll go with the new comer El Grande Americano. Ah no,
this first wrestled radio will why not? Yes?

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Are you going with the new guy? That the up
and comer?

Speaker 6 (09:25):
I think we have. I think we have a fun
down Goo Chris Jericho situation here. We have the grizzled
vet versus the the young upstart, and you might get
the young upstart going over here.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
To be completely honest with you, this is one of
the storylines I like the most. I think it's serahicle,
I shouldn't, but I do.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
I think I think the whole thing is great, and
I think when it finally pays off, if it pays
off the way I hope it does, it's it's gonna
end up being something you're all like, Oh, this is
really cool, but no, yeah, I do think El Grande, uh,
El Grande takes it here.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
I agree, it's it's a grande man up, the up
and comer that we don't have any background on. I
don't know where he's been, but man's he the new
sensation in WW Now all these mass wrestlers popping up
and it's so great all of a sudden, and yeah,
he's gonna beat Ray Mystereo at his first WrestleMania.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
That's crazy, right, But eventually I think.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
He uh, there might be like a mask versus mass
match or something like that, and that's when we get
the review of El Grande Americano. But WrestleMania, I think
he's gonna win.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Oh, well, Grande Americano is going to win. Yeah, I
imagine El Grande Americano is going to win. It's just
that afterwards, will we ever know truly the identity of
El Grande Americano. There seems to be some like, yeah,
there seems to be some let's just say missing files
in that case. So you know, I'm interested. We'll see,

(10:52):
we'll see what happens there. You know, I think it's
a mystery. Yeah, it's you know, it's a mystery we
don't know much about by the way, he's wrestled forever,
but apparently a newcomer as well. So and no footage,
no footage, right.

Speaker 5 (11:07):
No footage super underground.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Yeah, very legendary, but nobody knows.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Looking forward to the A and E biography exactly.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Yeah, the Dark Side of the Ring documentary Americano.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
This is going to be dark. This wrestling related is
going to be dark.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Yeah, I'll go oh Grande Americano. Jade Cargill Naomi, some
bad blood between the two. Uh, where are we going
with this one? Vaughan Johnson Jade Cargill against Naomi.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
He came to the right person for this match, team
two black, beautiful black women. Uh, you started in the
right place.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
I did. I did?

Speaker 2 (11:51):
No, that was in the rotation. I don't know why
that was in the rotation.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
But you came to the right place, brother, Thank good job.
I think the.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
I think the conventional wisdom would be that Jade Cargo
will win her first one on one match in WrestleMania,
But something, something is telling me that Naomi's gonna win
this match. So I'm gonna go with Naomi. That's two
heels for me. I think Naomi has kind of earned
it too. She's putting in some good work since turning
heel Nike John Cena. Naomi's had a better heel turn
than John Cena.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
And she's walking around like Owen Heart with the caution
tape everywhere. I love it, Like shout out to Owen Hart.
You know what I'm saying, Like, So, yeah, I'm going
with Naomi to pick up the win, even though I'm
I'm willing to, you know, concede that I could be
very well be wrong because Jake Cargill is obviously going
to be in main events very soon. But I don't

(12:43):
think Naomi should be treated as merely as stepping stone
because she's she's talented man. She should be at least
like a US Champ, Women's US Champ or something coming
out of this. But I think a win over Jay
Cargill would definitely help Naomi Nick pecone.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
I like reasoning there. I was, I was, I'm gonna
stick with Jade, but I could definitely see Naomi winning
a WrestleMania match to kind of reward her for the
words she's put in since returning. Uh, It's funny you
mentioned the caution tape. Even FTR over on AW did
a little owen Hart tribute this past week on Collision

(13:20):
when they were calling Edge too damn selfish. I thought
that was great. I thought that was great, Like a
few owen Hart callbacks recently that I'm all for.

Speaker 5 (13:30):
I'm off with the owen Heart callbacks.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Me too, me too. So I'm gonna stick with Jade.
I think, you know, I don't know if it's gonna
be a squash, but man, she's gonna kick Naomi's even
though she already did. But I see that happening.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Jason Finelli.

Speaker 6 (13:51):
I am in the Jade Cardgil camp as well. But
I do think I think this is one where I
could be wrong. I could see Naomi winning this one
as like a bit of a shock win, maybe like
even a surprise roll up or something like that. This
is the kind of This is the kind of match
I think could maybe carry over to a backlash with

(14:13):
a stipulation something like that, you know what I mean.
But I am going to pick Jade Cargill to win.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Yeah, it's Jake Cargo. It's gonna be Jake Cargo. How
could it not be Jade Cargill. There would just be
no way, in my mind it would not be Jake Cargill,
So I'm going Jade Cargill.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
L A.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Knights. Jacob Fatu, the United States Champion is spot to
getting the gold. Jason Finelli, Yes.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
I think it is his turn. I think it is
his time, and I think this is where he separates
himself from the whole timeline Shenanigans. Yes, his time is now. Great,
great job. No, I do think it's time. I think
this is the kind of thing where you crown him
at WrestleMania, give him that big ovation, let him carry

(15:02):
the US championship for a little while, and then hopefully,
unlike the person he's taking it from unfortunately, it will
vault him into bigger and better things. I think Fatu
has such a groundswell of support behind him just by
being his normal self or the way that he's always been,

(15:25):
and I think now is the time to kind of
start that major push with a title and then eventually
move him up to maybe like a world heavyweight situation. Yeah,
I'm with Fatu.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
Vaughn Johnson, Yeah, no pun intended.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
L A.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
Knight, But I think it again, conventional wisdom, says Jacob
Fattou has to win this title. I feel like La
Knight the main reason why he won the title back
was to drop it to Jacob Fatu. But there's part
of me, there's a little part, and my brain says,
but what if Solo Sok screws over Jacob Fattou. Oh no,

(16:04):
and then you go off with them two as the
bloodline finally fully disintegrates, or Jacob Fattu takes control of
the bloodline from or the new bloodline from Solo so
CoA in a way, that's that's just a thing that
could potentially happen. But I'm gonna go with unlike the
last match, I'm gonna stick with the conventional wisdom and
say that Jaco Fatu is ready to be more than
ready to be in the United States champion. It should

(16:26):
happen and make that title pop again. And like's what's
happened recently, and again, like you said, poor l A Knight,
his hasn't really elevated him necessarily, but it'll elevate Jaco
Fattou for sure.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Nick Macone, Yeah, I'll go Fatsuo. I would like to
see him win a med Card title by or the
I should say the i C title by beating bron Breaker.
I think that'd be like great for him and massive,
but uh, I guess beating l A. Knight, you know,
it's fine or whatever, just kind of there. I mean,
like I'm a fan, like I don't hate him, but

(17:05):
it's like what he's been doing nothing when he was
championed the first time, and now the second time, it's
just like all right, you know, he said the same stuff.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
It doesn't help when they don't they don't give him
any depth, right, He's still just l A Night.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
Yeah, and that's it. It's like, Okay, well, we expect
more now, I think from the talent.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
I think the expectations of going up for what they
want from the character. You got to take him on
a journey, and they just haven't done it.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. But yeah, I think, yeah, I'd be
shocked if I Fattoo doesn't win the title. But if
it were to be because Solo screws him and then
they go off and do that without Jacob having a title,
I will buy that. But my official prediction is fought
who wins the title?

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Yeah, I think it's it's gonna be fought too. And
maybe this is like Jason said, you get him the hardware, Yeah,
take him to better places, maybe so thing more interesting.
But at the moment, I don't know if I find
it very interesting. But it's I love the character. I've
loved everything from Jacob Fatwo when he's been on the
screen in the ring. It's just that there's not been

(18:13):
really much to take in from that. So I'm gonna
go Jacob fat two. Yeah, but yes, let's hope for
better things for Jacob Fatu. World Tag Team Championship Eric
and Ivar against The New Day Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
This again not really much juice for me here, Like

(18:35):
Kofe and Xavier have been good since they've turned heel,
but again it's nothing overly exciting in the war Raiders.
I just feel like, even though maybe a bit of
a different look all this stuff, but they just seem
pretty much the same. And I don't know it's it's
speaking of no juice. This one doesn't have much juice
for me. But Nick Pacone, your World Tag Team Championship winner.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
Is it is the New Day about five months too late,
And I'm sure Vaughn will expand on that. But man,
when they were hot, they should have done it, and
they didn't, so now it's now. This is why it
feels like there's no juice because they waited two damn
long because they're too damn selfish putting the titles on

(19:19):
the New Day. What was the way? Why why'd you wait?
Like it boggles my mind. They lost so much steam
because of this. So hopefully this is the renaissance of
the New Day, the heel dow Day. But yeah, I'm
picking the New Day.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Von Johnson, Yeah, one hundred percent agree because I said
it when they first turned the heels, like put the
titles on them right now away?

Speaker 3 (19:46):
Yeah, I remember right away?

Speaker 4 (19:48):
Why are we waiting? What else is there? The judgment Day,
Eric and Ivar the War Raid is good. They could
be a good babyfaced team. To lose to the New Day,
I'm sorry, but here we are.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
They've lost, like Nick says, so much momentum.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
Biggie hasn't really hasn't been on TV outside of what
pre show panels, so they haven't really even brought him
up again. It's just like they just ran over beach
big Ee and left them there like it's crazy, and
it didn't go back for him, like and it just
moved right along. But to me, if the New Day
don't win this match, because that's why I'm predicting the
New Day to win. If they don't win, what are

(20:26):
we doing with them?

Speaker 6 (20:26):
Now?

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Man?

Speaker 5 (20:27):
What's the point they have to win?

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Right?

Speaker 4 (20:31):
He'll turn has not been capitalized upon greatly, and then
they lose.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
After all of that, they lose.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
And maybe it's oh, Biggie costs him the title, but
it's like, but then what big is Biggie going to?

Speaker 5 (20:44):
Big E gonna wrestle team? Like, where are we going?
So to me, the New Day has to win, Like
they have to win these titles.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
And I don't know if how many times they've won
the titles that WrestleMania, if they've ever done it, so
it'd be a nice feather their cap and their cap
if I don't know if they've done it, but if
they can win the tag titles at WrestleMania for the
first time, even though it's as heels, but again, I
don't know if they've done that before.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
But New Day has to win.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Does New Day have to win?

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Jason?

Speaker 6 (21:17):
For storyline continuity and sense sake? Yes? Are they I
could see them going the Big Ee costs them the
Championship route, I really do. I agree that it's five
months too late. I think they should have been the
champions immediately, and then you dethrone them here at Mania.

(21:41):
I don't really have much to say about this match.
This one does not register for me at all. I'm
going to pick the New Day in the hopes that
they win and the storyline can go from there. But yeah,
I don't really I don't really know where they go
win or lose, Like who's next, Who's next? Up? I

(22:03):
don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Yeah, I don't know either. I think this match kind
of screams at like we don't know, we're just going
with it. Maybe KOFE and Xavier, yes, they know some
sort of plan, but the rest of the whole tag
team division I just don't. I don't know the plan.
So KOFE and Xavier short, it's the only ones I
could see with any potential moving forward. War Raiders again,
it's just like, I don't know, We've been there, done that.

(22:26):
There's not been that much of a change. I think
the great wrestlers and I like watching him wrestle, but
other than that, there's just I never go, oh, yeah,
I'm so excited to see the war Raiders or nor
do I hear anyone talk about the war Raiders at all.
So it's just man, there are champions and seem like
they're also just a disappearing act at the same time.
So Kofe and Xavier Xavier Woods. I'm going with there

(22:50):
because at least there's some potential outside of this Women's
Championship match. Tiffany Stratton against Charlotte Flair. I guess you
know what, I'll start with you on this one, Nick,
because this is this is a lot of backstage weird.
Tiffany Stratton brought up a lot of personal things stuff,
and Charlotte Flair didn't take it the right way, and
so there's just a lot going on. Has it made

(23:13):
it interesting or has it made it? Oh yeah, this
they're actually going to have a match now kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
I feel like there wasn't much juice there and that
was maybe their way. I'm not I'm not convinced they
didn't know they were going to go that route with
that promo, but uh, I think.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
I think they take advantage of Charlotte already being like,
I don't know people already, So yeah, you can pull
off something like this and nobody would second.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
Get yeah, and the thing that and I want Stratton
to win, like my prediction has for her a win, but again,
Charlotte beat Oscar at WrestleMania for when everyone thought Oscar
was gonna win. That's always in the back of my mind.
So I would not be surprised at all if Charlotte
wins the title, yer, but I'm gonna go tiff.

Speaker 6 (24:03):
I wish you didn't remind me of that.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
I can't believe that.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
Because I still can't believe that happened now. My heart
says Tiffany Stratton, because I want the newcomer. I basically
want Charlotte to do for Tiffany Stratton what John Cena
was supposed to do for Austin theory. That's what I
want to happen in this match. But a small part

(24:30):
of me thinks that they're just gonna feed Tiffany Stratton
to the Charlotte Flair Wood Chipper and she's gonna win
the match and be the champion again and everyone's going
to love it so much. So unfortunately, I have to
go with my head here, and I am picking begrudgingly.

(24:51):
I am picking Charlotte Flair.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Vaughn.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
I'm gonna pick Charlotte Flair because you just you can't
really bet against the Flair and WrestleMania matches or title
matches they like. Making her the winner is what happens
is like at this point betting against Patrick Mahomes or
Tom Brady. Even though you could have bet against Patrick
Mahomes and fear.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
Also fly.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
You can you can better against those two quarterbacks when
they play the Eagles.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
That is true.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
That is true, but I was there for one different
hopefully those actually but thanks.

Speaker 6 (25:31):
But to me.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
No matter who wins, where does does division go after that? Okay,
Charlotte wins, then who's who's up next? She faced Tiffany
Stratton again? Will this get better a month from now?

Speaker 5 (25:44):
Do? I am I interested in that for the next
month or two? I don't know. And Tiffany Stratton if
she wins, who in who? Look against who? Who is
there is?

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Jade Cargo? Is somebody else? Can Is she capable of
cutting them? Pro necessary to make a program, you know,
feel big? Because I don't know if that was the
case this time around with Charlotte Flair and going into WrestleMania.
So it's just I don't know, man, it's just another
one that just doesn't have that much juice for me.
Even with the messy segment that happened a couple of

(26:16):
weeks ago, that wasn't enough for me. It's just like
it felt like even that segment was like out of
desperation to make something. It happened there, and you know,
I just I'm not a fan of desperation. It's not necessary.
You could have just did a good job this whole time.
So but yeah, at the end of the day, Charlotte wins.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Yeah, I think so too. And usually at the end
of the day when it comes to any feud with Charlotte,
it is, Yeah, the lead up to it is a
bit annoying, like everything's just all right, I don't know
if I'm really digging any of this or they get desperate.
But then when it gets there, a lot of the
times with Charlotte, it's like, oh, yeah, that match is great.

(26:57):
Charlotte is still to me like a we haven't seen
it in a while, so I'm interested. But Charlotte is
a phenomenal wrestler, like one of the best wrestlers I've
seen in WWE recently. Always puts on a great match,
and I am at least excited to see her back
into a ring, especially back into the ring in such
a wrestlmingia big pay per view. So I don't know.

(27:21):
I'm excited for that part, but everything leading up to
it I don't care about. And Charlotte's gonna win it.
They're gonna keep giving Charlotte the title. She's gonna break records,
She's gonna be, I mean, to me, the most decorated,
one of the most decorated, probably the most decorated WWE
champions of all time. When it's all said and done,
so I am I'm going with Charlotte Flair there World

(27:42):
Heavyweight Championship Gunta against jay Uso von Johnson. Every sticking
with just the stoic and powerful gunther or are we
going with the yeat movement with jay.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
Uso wins he finally beats This is the obvious choice. This,
This is one of the easiest choices I've made for
this entire car So, yes, he's lost him every time,
but til this point he was admitted that he was
afraid of him.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
He has to beat him. Jaus will be a new
world type of weight champion. For how long.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
I don't know, but he went in at WrestleMania. They're
going to have the moments of an entire stadium potentially
of people in Las Vegas at WrestleMania doing the yeat
stuff like you've been building up all the years for
that moment.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Like the way they built it up.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
It's no such things. I mean too obvious. I mean,
I guess it.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
Could be too obvious, but like predictab right, predictable isn't
bad neither, Like, yeah, I don't I don't mind that
at all.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
I don't think people was picking against Steve Auston in
ninety eight. You were, and you were wrong.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
But he was predictable last year. But I know I was,
like I was very nervous. Still there's a party. He's like,
oh man, they're gonna do like the worst thing here.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
There's always a chance. But like, he can't do it
two years in a row, right, So to me, he
can't beat ja Usso five times? Have Guntha beat him
five times or whatever it is, and expect people to
stay stick with them on this journey that they've taken
them on, like this is the payoff for the five
years they spent telling ja Usso's journey. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (29:21):
That's why he's over, because he's been on a journey
where La Knight has not. So do you pay it off?

Speaker 4 (29:26):
With Jay Usso winning the world title, he doesn't have
to win a second one, he doesn't have to hold
it for a year, but he can be gunther at WrestleMania.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
Nick Picun, Yeah, it's got to be the up and
comer Jay that.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
Rub, that rub.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
But yeah, if he loses here, then he's done. He
eats over.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Yeah, Jason Fanelli.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
I agree with that. He has to win because he
eats over if he doesn't. But more logically speaking, he
is scheduled for the WrestleMania after party after night one,
and if you think for one second, he is not
rolling up to that answer party without a belt, your nuts.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
He is winning after party schedule subject to change stop it.

Speaker 5 (30:09):
Yeah, they're gonna be eating and live club live bro.

Speaker 6 (30:12):
That's right. They live with that belt, and it's that's
what's gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
So also, can I be honest about something there? My
headphones cut out, uh, and then I had to put
you know, mess with the settings putting back on and
the first thing I hear out of context is yeating
and so what live?

Speaker 4 (30:31):
Yeah, what's that's a lot? You know, we were talking
about Juso being at the after party after Night one,
which is that club Live. Okay, so they're gonna.

Speaker 5 (30:42):
Do They're gonna play the song and do the eating.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
That was incredible. It was incredibly out of context. And yeah,
give me for real. I was like, wait, where did
we just go? It's okay, I guess podcast? All right,
all right, yeah, So has anyone seen this theory? By
the way, I'll throw it out there because I've seen
a lot and even a casual wrestling fan has brought
up to me this the jay Uso selling his soul

(31:05):
to the rock the way John Cena did as the
nick picone.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
Have you seen this?

Speaker 3 (31:11):
No? Could? I think that would kill the character?

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Okay, okay, yeah, but I think it's more of it's
something that they are okay killing for this bigger thing
with Jay and Sina basically the whole h jay Usso
because he got didn't get boot a little bit or
whatever it was, there was some backlash whenever he won
the Rumble. Uh so it's gonna be the scene of
thing if they didn't appreciate you when you finally won.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Kind of fly backlash I've seen for Juso is online.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Like strictly online, strictly online.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Watch these shows. I don't see any backlash at all.
They are into jay Uso, so I don't know.

Speaker 6 (31:48):
Man.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
Also, him selling a soul like you said, would would
pretty much ended. Yeah, it'd be crazy.

Speaker 6 (31:54):
Some of that online backlash was discussed on a recent
episode of the Straight Shooters podcast where you get your podcast?
But uh I I like that the the internet is
so creative and it basically starts with because jus came
into Raw Netflix with Travis Scott, that's like the beginning
of it. And the problem with that is I don't

(32:17):
think Travis Scott's ever going to be allowed to w
w ring again because he broke Cody's face. So I
am more subscribing to the theory that if anybody's going
to sell their soul, it's somebody else that we'll talk
about later in the show.

Speaker 4 (32:33):
Also, our souls up for sale, like are we like
that's what's going on right now? We're just expecting the
rock to collect more souls.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
If anyone wants to buy mine, I mean for sale
sales there's a price for everything.

Speaker 6 (32:50):
I'm just not coming back settle that stuff down.

Speaker 5 (32:52):
I'm just thinking of like the rock on shopper. Oh
they got souls for sale.

Speaker 4 (32:56):
They gotta sale, they got to sale on souls.

Speaker 5 (33:00):
Let me get some.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
I'll give you a thirty percent discount for my ex
spring sale event chances. I'm yeah, yeah, like the DVD
and clearance bin, like the one do like, oh yeah,
that's that's me, You.

Speaker 6 (33:18):
And Jeelie starring Ben Flack and Jennifer.

Speaker 5 (33:22):
That's rough.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
Triple threat match, main event, seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, c
M Punk, lots of big names there, uh, triple threat matches.
I kind of do have this. It's very purely nostalgic
because I remember back in the day when I started watching,
there were a lot of triple threats and fatal four
way matches, like they just always just threw a bunch

(33:46):
of people in the ring together. And I love it
and I think it could end up being fun. But
other than fun factor, I really kind of don't know
where to go with it here. Jason, where are you going?

Speaker 6 (33:58):
I think the telegraphing which way they're going to go
with the drama of Paul Hayman, Uh Roman Reigns and
seem Punk are fighting over Paul Hayman, essentially Seth Rollins
being the odd one out, and I think that means
that Roman and Punk are going to cancel each other
out and Seth Rollins is gonna win this match, and
then uh may, well, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Is this a match for Paul Hayman on a pole?

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Match?

Speaker 2 (34:35):
The match was cage. Wasn't somebody like high Above in
a cage one time?

Speaker 5 (34:43):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (34:46):
The Shark cage. Shark with Chris Jericho was in one.
I believe Enzo and More was in one.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
Had Judy Bagwell like a forklift or something like.

Speaker 6 (34:58):
Machine. It was supposed to be Judy bag Wall on
a pole, but the pole they had probably wouldn't hold
a baby, let alone Judy bag so they had to
get a four. But I am his custody of Paul Hamid.

(35:21):
I think that the person selling their soul at WrestleMania
is in this match, and I think it's Seth Rollins,
and I think they telegraphed it. I think they telegraphed
it last night with him coming out in a very
shield looking outfit. He did the chair to the back
of Roman Reigns at the end of the night, and
I think that that's telegraphing because he did those things

(35:44):
when he sold his soul to the authority and if
the Rock is the new quote unquote authority figure without
actually calling him that a dirty word, uh Rollins could
get his ultimate revenge on long time rival Cody Rhodes
and cost him the titles for business as well. He

(36:04):
said that too, And then there's an interview with him.
There's an interview with him floating around somewhere where he said,
you know, I always have to do what's best for me.
I will listen to all offers. He's basically saying, you know,
if they came around, I would entertain it. So that's
there's a lot of a lot of smoke under that fire,
I think, and I think that might be what they're doing.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
They've been talking a lot about souls too, like an
undertaker and something like that. You know, that's for the
soul of w W. Like what is this noticense that
they're talking about? And he just put all the pieces
together like Charlie Day, Like I see the vision Jason,
and now I'm like, damn, he might.

Speaker 6 (36:41):
Be vision the vision of the visionary right.

Speaker 5 (36:44):
Wow, man, he's blown He's blown it away. Bro, he
killing us for real.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
I was gonna pick South of Islands anyway, but I'm
for sure going to pick South of Rolands now because
that's probably what's going to happen. Uh yeah, I did
not see that as as a possibility.

Speaker 5 (37:03):
But but the original.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
Theory of Roman and uh seeing Punk canceling each other
out makes total sense to me. That's what I was
going as well. But yeah, Seth sells his soul to
the rock and now Rock and Roman, Roman and Punk
are like what we both got left at the altar here.
Now we got to team up and you know, the
unwilling partners kind of deal.

Speaker 5 (37:25):
They did that Survivor series.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
They gotta do it again and it's like, oh my god,
but can they co exist.

Speaker 5 (37:33):
The drama?

Speaker 4 (37:35):
So yeah, this match trip or threat match for nothing
on the line other than the soul. That's a that's
a keyword of w W. But I think Seth Roland
is going to win the Undertaker just right.

Speaker 5 (37:48):
So what I'm saying, well, Shane Song from Mortal Kombat.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Of like saying that, you know, like, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (38:00):
Is digging holes and taking tolls?

Speaker 2 (38:02):
Right? Is that what the Rocks? Is that what the
Rocky is doing? Now?

Speaker 5 (38:05):
Pretty much she might have come out with a hat
in the in the trench coat, bro.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Yeah, I might as well. Yeah, so I'm going seth Rollins,
I guess is that where you're going?

Speaker 1 (38:14):
Nick?

Speaker 3 (38:15):
Yeah? And it's funny that that that's a better way
the way Jason involved kind of went of explaining that. Meanwhile,
I'm like, okay, Romans not gonna lose, and then you
have seampunk seth Rollins. Seampunk already beat seth Rollins. So yeah,
that was.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
One the like quick through these night two matches now,
which I think we kind of can. But where does
that leave kind of Roman? If he doesn't like.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
What's they got to go back to bloodline stuff?

Speaker 6 (38:46):
I think?

Speaker 3 (38:46):
Right, I feel like it's been.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Like, is that the way to have seth Rollins go
to the rock and then like.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
You're I don't know, I mean, I guess maybe Jacob
tries to use are Romans they do that, but.

Speaker 5 (39:02):
This sounds like Game of Thrones.

Speaker 3 (39:04):
They definitely need to go where's the blood line been?
Like they're trying to sell us. The blood line that
matters right now is Solo and Jacob and all that.
It's like Jay's doing his own thing, Jamie's kind of
backing him up. Roman's doing his own thing. I'm still
invested in the bloodline. Like, let's go, let's get back
to it. Man, hurry up again. We don't need a

(39:29):
tutitle for the so let's go.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
It's true, But yeah, it just has nothing to do
with this match. I don't know. It's just, Hey, these
three guys aren't doing anything right now. You want to
just put them together.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
I feel like they're like, oh, we can't separate seeing
Punk and Paul Hayman any longer because Punk's been back
for a year, It's like, yes, you can, Like you
don't need to make sure they're together.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
It's at some point connected in some way.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
I think, wait, you can hold that off another year
or two, like, come on, But.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Yeah, the Punk and Rollins hate each other, Punk and
Paul Haymon connecting him the Roman reigns. Romans and Rollins
are connected forever. So yeah, they're just like cool.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
I will say that could lead plant the seed if
Rollins goes with Rock down the line for Sea On
Punk when he eventually probably main events one on one,
maybe winning the title at a main event of WrestleMania
went the Rock as the you know, final boss, not
saying them one on one. But if Punk finds himself

(40:28):
in that position, then that thing with Seth can even
go that far.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
I don't know, Gosh, the whole thing is like, who
is team with the Rock?

Speaker 5 (40:38):
I don't know sure will he even be around though?

Speaker 4 (40:42):
I mean, I know the tribal Chef, the Tribal Chef
was cooking earlier with this theory, but like, I'm.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Still like they set this whole thing up, just like
is he even is it even gonna happen?

Speaker 1 (40:51):
Now?

Speaker 3 (40:52):
We're like we want set the doing and when it
doesn't happen, we'll be like upset.

Speaker 6 (40:55):
Yeah, that's it. That's gonna be me. I had came
up with this whole cockamami theory, and when it doesn't
happen and Cody Road is still a champion, I'm like,
oh man, that.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Jason all right? Uh so let's go to a night too.
We gotta go through it pretty quickly. Here the match
that nobody should give a bleep about because it's boring.
Yousel aj styles Logan Paul. I don't care. It's gonna
be Logan Paul.

Speaker 3 (41:17):
But Logan Paul, I don't care.

Speaker 5 (41:18):
I don't care.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
I don't care.

Speaker 5 (41:19):
Logan Logan Paul wins, and yeah, I also don't care.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
Yeah, my very mini random like Logan Paul. They've done
like really interesting character things with a lot of new
characters in w W. It's like the main thing that's
made Triple H good. And then Logan Paul, they went, oh, yeah,
be just an annoying content creator. Guy, Oh that's what
you are. Awesome. They went nowhere with it. They just said, yeah,
do that thing but in our ring, and that's so uninteresting.

(41:43):
There was zero, zero interest in any of that for me.

Speaker 5 (41:47):
None. Logan Paul will be j usof for the world
title this year.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
Yeah, oh no, I'll never I'll never watch wrestling again.
It'll be it'll be done. I've I've been able to
hard cut. I don't watch any Logan Paul. So I
don't care. It's boring, it sucks, I don't care.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
I'm not saying telling you to be happy. I'm telling
you so you can prepare, get ready. But Logan Paul
is gonna be a world Champion of twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
Well going, we're all going, We're all going.

Speaker 6 (42:13):
Logan Paul the Big grudgingly yes.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
Uh, Damian priest Drew McIntyre in a fight in the
streets since city since Oh wow, oh my god.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
See how they did that.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
On Fremont Street. They should do without Fremont Street. That'd
be interesting. Uh where where we're going? We all just
Gamian priests. Maybe Drew McIntyre.

Speaker 5 (42:38):
I'm gonna go with true true McIntyre.

Speaker 6 (42:43):
All going Drew, Yeah, Drew, Drew needs a win here.
I think he'll get it. I would like to see
a spot in this street fight where playing cards are
used to give paper cuts because Vegas.

Speaker 5 (42:56):
Yeah, exactly about to make an eve of myself up
and there.

Speaker 6 (43:01):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
Or they gotta fight in the streets like the backlock
broad like Wrestling Year twelve. They got to actually be
in the streets. Just do it on the strip, bro, like,
let's do it, come.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
On, No, not even the strip Fremont, do it, do
it in the more dirty part of it. Damn yeah yeah, no, no, no,
I'm a I'm a fan of Fremont. That's where our
friends at CIRCA are. I love Fremont, but it's a
little while down there. It's so it's so weird.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
I like.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
I called the Delco in Vegas.

Speaker 5 (43:36):
But I don't know, Oh my god, dearing or like.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
Indicative, but what I mean. Intercontinental Championship bron Breakers a
champion going up against Dominick Mysterio and Penta and Finn Bowler.
Obviously there's the Finn and dominic thing, but also Penta
has been great. I think Penta is the one that
wins this. Give it to him now, let this man cook.
This man has been cooking an aw for a while.

(44:01):
Let him cook even more. On WWE. He has everything,
the presentation, he has, like the backing behind him already,
the star power behind him, you know, with with George
kit I don't know, I hate to say George Kittle
too much star power, but like this guy has been mainstream,
but I mean more of like I feel like this
guy has been more mainstream than we let on because
like a es, he just doesn't feel mainstream. He has mainstream.

(44:24):
So yeah, yeah, I think Penta you can pull the
trigger on as soon as possible, and I think this
is it. Wen, I'll go with you.

Speaker 4 (44:30):
Since you agree, Yeah, I agree with you about Pina,
but I don't agree with you a winner.

Speaker 5 (44:34):
I think.

Speaker 4 (44:37):
I think it's time for Dirty Dome to get a
singles title, and he pins fin Battle.

Speaker 5 (44:41):
To do it. It's a fatal four way. Doesn't that
the pen Pinsa.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
Doesn't that the Breaker Penta match though, I guess that's
where it's going.

Speaker 4 (44:49):
It could, but I think bron Breaker could just move
on to like world championship stuff.

Speaker 3 (44:54):
He can beat Logan Paul for the world title.

Speaker 4 (44:57):
He could, but I think Mysterio wins and then eventually
he loses to Pena, you know, build up to Penta
beating him. But yeah, I think I'm gonna go with
Dominic Mysterio. I think he's put I think he's put
in the work. He won't be like the best Intercontinental
champion of all time, but he's putting in a lot
of work. It would get a lot of right and

(45:17):
he would get a lot of heat with the title,
and he doesn't have to hold again, another one that
doesn't have to hold.

Speaker 5 (45:21):
It for forever.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
But I think it'd be I think it's a nice
feather and Dom's cap I think he's earned it, honestly,
Like people didn't like the Kid a couple of years ago.
I don't know if there's anybody out there who say, like,
I'm just not a fan of Dominic Stio.

Speaker 6 (45:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (45:34):
Maybe Jason's still not a fan, maybe he's still a holdout.
But kids earned it, man. I think him won a
nicety title would make sense to me, uh in this
in his fashion, especially because he doesn't have to pen
bron Breaker that would be outrageous, but or even Penta
at this point, but he could pen fin Balor.

Speaker 6 (45:51):
So there you go, Jason, I am in complete agreement.
That's what. That's my prediction too. I think it's done.
And yes, to answer your question, I have come around
on Dominic Mysterio because there is something to be said
about a bona fide expert heat magnet, and that's what

(46:15):
he is. He's just very good at making people angry
and I have to respect that. So yes, I do
think this is his first singles title. I also think
that because he's such a conniving, little you know, weasel
snake whatever he is, heat magnet, he could lose it
on Monday to someone who's debuting. It could be that fast,

(46:36):
but I think that would be foolish. I think you
let him get a little heat for a little while,
maybe not too much. Maybe he'll tell like maybe it's
like the beginning of the summer or something like that.
But I do honestly think that he wins it tomorrow
Sunday night.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
I think, Oh, I think Dominic will be the one
to beat Penta eventually. For the other kind of wow,
I don't think it.

Speaker 5 (47:00):
Yeah, that's the no. I don't know if you can
do that.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
You killed the territory doing something like that.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
Baby, you put even more heat on dom What do
you do it? That way?

Speaker 4 (47:08):
The heat comes from he didn't even beat pins to
whin the title and then pins To chases him to
beat him.

Speaker 2 (47:14):
But I'm sorry, I need a pin Finn ballad though,
I don't know where do you get the most heat?

Speaker 3 (47:19):
I think, Nick?

Speaker 4 (47:19):
I mean, does him having a title gives him heat?

Speaker 2 (47:24):
Anything Dominic does, Every step he takes gives him more heat.

Speaker 5 (47:29):
So yes, that's the song, every.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Step he get some more heat?

Speaker 3 (47:39):
All right?

Speaker 2 (47:39):
Women's SAG Match Live Morgan, Raquel, Rodriguez, Bailey and Vakiria
Live in Raquel.

Speaker 3 (47:47):
Sure, Nick, I'm gonna say they retained just because Lyras
stalls the Icy title. I don't see them doing a
double champion yet. And Bailey could go after the Icy
title maybe.

Speaker 6 (47:59):
Sure, Jason Same, I think there's a retention here by
Living Raquel because Lyra icy title, and maybe you get
a Bailey heel turn where Bailey gets real mad and
they feud over for a little while. Why not give
him something due Vaughn.

Speaker 4 (48:16):
I agree, Uh, the champions retain and maybe we get
a heel turn from it.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
Either one.

Speaker 4 (48:21):
I guess you can turn Lyra if I kill you
hit heel it might help her, honestly, But either one,
they split up and we go on with them challenging
going after the Icy title.

Speaker 3 (48:34):
I will say Live and Dom having titles will be
like so entertaining, it would It'd be good.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
That would be genuinely very entertaining. Yeah, all right. The
Women's World Championship Triple Thread Eo Sky, Ray, Ripley and
Bianca Billaire. I love all these three wrestlers. I think
it's going to be a great match. I absolutely loathe
how they got there, Von Johnson. Where we're going? Where
we go? We retaining with the we go on the
were going with Bianca? Where do you go in this riveting,

(49:03):
riveting matchup.

Speaker 5 (49:05):
Yeah, I haven't loved how they gotten a gotten there either.

Speaker 4 (49:10):
Just you know, he has a babyface and she's complaining
even though people still like her. But it's really Weirdanca
is like telling the truth yet getting mood.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
It's really special. Referee thing was so dumb.

Speaker 5 (49:22):
Yeah, it's a little it's.

Speaker 4 (49:23):
A little clunky, but like I think EO Sky has
been elevated because of it. If anybody has been benefited
from her, I think Eo Skuy stepped up to the
plate on multiple occasions in.

Speaker 5 (49:32):
This uh story.

Speaker 4 (49:34):
As far as a winner though, hm hmm, I think
they've told the story and it's kind of been like
a little one that knows about EO Sky being overlooked,
and it's kind of told that story multiple times, so
much so that I don't think she wins. I don't
think she retains even though she just won the title.
She has already had a successful title defense technically too,
so it's noting like she hasn't defended it yet.

Speaker 5 (49:54):
Uh So my prediction.

Speaker 4 (49:56):
Would be for Bianca Blaire to become the new women
World Champion and then I don't know if you you know,
then split her and Ria off and maybe they go
on and maybe Ria Beta eventually. I don't know, but
I think Bianca Butlaire is a champion coming out of
WrestleMania forty one.

Speaker 6 (50:16):
Jason, I, I'm conflicted here. On the one hand, uh,
I will say I don't think Riya gets the title back.
I do not think that happens at all. But I
am actually torn between Bianca and EO because EO loses
last year to Bailey and then she wins the title
on you know, a random episode of role as a fluke.

(50:39):
Some people think she shouldn't have the belt to begin with,
maybe and to give her a statement win against these
two other you know, powerhouses in the women's division might
elevate her in some you know, stubborn fan's eyes to
their level, right, I think that's possible, and I do.
I do think that there is an argument to be
made that EO wins this, But again heart versus Head,
I think beyond makes the most sense because then you know,

(51:03):
if Jade beats Naomi all Night one, then you get
Jade versus Bianca for the title at some point, maybe
Summer Slam something like that, and you can continue that
storyline there. So again, I am going to say Bianca
wins this match, but I am going to hold a
small bit of hope that EO actually retains.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
Nick Uh.

Speaker 3 (51:26):
Yeah. I actually think we could see a turn here
with Bianca. I think she'll win and turn heel. I
Like Jason, I think the their plan, at least what
they want to happen is Jade versus Bianka for the
title at some point, perhaps SummerSlam. I do think it

(51:46):
could be. I'd like to see the footage of like
Naomi push on Jade and then Biaka just be like
off next to her, so we're like, oh, Biaka do
all along and all this, and like she was part
of that, so to make people even boo her more.
And then we have Jade is like the big babyface
that will eventually get crowned the champion when she beats Bianca. Like,

(52:06):
I feel like that's kind of how they want to go,
and it's just a matter of getting there. You know,
everyone stay healthy, the crowd reactions stay hot, and you know,
Jay gets better in the ring. Bianca as a champion,
a heel champion is something we haven't seen, so I think,
you know, that would be the more entertaining thing. I

(52:28):
don't know what happens with Ria Rio after that, but
that's what I think.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
Yeah, that's where I'm kind of conflicted. I just don't know,
because Ria is the one that just seems over and
huge all the time, and so what do you do
with her? But I guess there is there are so
many different ways to go, and you know, maybe, yeah,
I don't know that that's one that if you do
find a place where you're not exactly sure to put her,
you can still put her anywhere and it's gonna work.

(52:54):
I think some of the more interesting options you would
get would be more from Bianca. So I am. I'm
down for that. Give me Bianca bell Air to win
the title, the Women's World Championship. All right, onto the
main event of the evenings, Undisputed WWE Championship, Cody Rhodes

(53:15):
the champion taking on the challenger, very mean, very not
babyface John c Nick Pacone. Who are you going? Is
there a chance? Could Sina have a title run in
his in his final run?

Speaker 3 (53:35):
He could? For sure. I just don't see it happening.
Seeing John Cena win his seventeenth title at a WrestleMania
over Cody Rhodes A couple of years ago You've been like, oh, yeah,
like that that would be kind of awesome right now, Like,
I guess it depends how it happens, but like I
do not want to see that as of this recording.

(53:56):
Like I'm not interested in that right now. I'd be
interested in seventeenth world title run at some point, but
right now I'm not. So having Cody lose to John
Cena would just be like ew, you know, to me,
it would be like gross a little bit, like it's
not a WrestleMania moment, and do you really want to
heal quote unquote heel winning the main event at the

(54:19):
WrestleMania I know they've done it, but especially with Roman,
but I don't know, man, I don't think it'll hit
if they decide to do that. So I'm gonna stick
with Cody Vaughn.

Speaker 5 (54:31):
Yeah, I'm torn, man, because.

Speaker 4 (54:35):
If you if I didn't, if this wasn't WrestleMania, I
would for sure say John Cena is gonna win because
he's been pretty much punk this entire feud. He had
to even really even landed a punch on Cody Rhode
since the elimination chamber, and he hadn't been around that much.

(54:55):
And also you can potentially get a heel title run.
And he's made this big threat that like if he
was if he wins, he's gonna just retire and take
the title home. Like that feels like something there. They
might actually do. They might do it just to say,

(55:15):
look how shocking it was. Look how we shook it
up at wrestlemane. You think we're going we're wrestling on
our laurels. You think we're uh just coasting along because
we're selling tickets and you know.

Speaker 5 (55:26):
Business is good. Where here's this massive shake up to
the to the thing.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
Now, what the title's going away? How about that? Right?

Speaker 4 (55:34):
That's as might as well put it in a briefcase
like John Moxley, Right, But it's still it would still
feel very weird, even though it be very shocking and
it would get the world talking, but it'll still feel
very weird to end the WrestleMania on a downer. Where
I've always been of the theory that WrestleMania is to
show up happy endings, even though I have predicted a

(55:57):
lot of heels to win.

Speaker 5 (56:00):
But it just you can't.

Speaker 4 (56:02):
I don't know if you can play around with WrestleMania
being the downer show too many times. I feel like
that's supposed to be the feel good show. But then again,
it's like, man, Jason's theory earlier was really good man,
with Seth Rollins being the reason why John Cena wins,
and then that's how you spend the story forward for
the next year. I mean, maybe at WrestleMania forty two
is when you do have the happy ending and Les

(56:22):
Bonton roula down in New Orleans, but man.

Speaker 2 (56:27):
That's where I'm going.

Speaker 3 (56:28):
I feel.

Speaker 2 (56:28):
So it's not so down a moment. Yes, I don't
know if you want to do that too many times,
but it's so I feel like it's okay if you
have a genuinely shocking moment, like oh my god, I
can't believe what I just watched, and I feel like
you could kind of get that if you do have,
as Jason saying, or even that theory. I've been seeing
them in it. Whatever it is, whoever sells their sworld

(56:49):
of the Rock to see Sina, to see the rock
at the top of the stage, and to see whoever
it is to help Sena do it. Not only is
that shocking, that is genuinely going to be correct, easy
ass heat that they will be getting all the way
through that. And the one thing we love about a
good babyface is when they chase the title. And Cody
Roads had the title for a long time. He's defended

(57:10):
it for quite a while. To say a long time,
but it's been quite a while. It would be okay
for him to lose it, but the chase all over again,
and to chase like two legends and to chase these
you know, two guys, two heels now that have you know,
been at the top, that have been that and you
know they can almost taunt Cody at the top again
and Cody has to go on this chase. I I

(57:31):
always love the baby face chase. Cody has had the
belt long enough. I feel like he could do a
really great chase here. So I'm I'm all aboard the
SENA Championship run train. But Jason Finley, are you going
to be on board with me for that one?

Speaker 6 (57:45):
Yes? Yes, I am agreeing with you that John Cena
is going to win this match. There are going to
be shnanigans, just like last year's mainly A Night two
nine event, there was shenanigans. I don't know what they
are yet. I do think that that maybe's seth Rowinds
gets involved, and again you can have Cody versus Rowlinds
take you to Saturday Knight's main event, which is John

(58:05):
Cena is next scheduled after the SmackDown after WrestleMania, I
should say he is scheduled in the May twenty fifth
Saturday Night's main event, so you have a month to
fill between that April twenty fifth SmackDown and May twenty
fifth without your title. I also want to see John
Cena do a Hollywood press tour with the title in
his hand, talking about how basically I want him to

(58:27):
do his heel promos on like ye entertainment on Entertainment tonight, yeah, or.

Speaker 2 (58:33):
Make a wish kids.

Speaker 6 (58:36):
Maybe not maybe not that praz but like yeah, all
I could think of was that Michael Jordan poster that
I can't say but like.

Speaker 3 (58:51):
Love that kids.

Speaker 2 (58:52):
Yes, yes, exactly, but but no, I want him, but
thank you, I think we needed that.

Speaker 6 (58:58):
I want him to take the title away from WWE
and do all of his champion heel work away from
WWE and other places in other media, because that will
just tick off the loyal fan base even more that
he's doing all this work but not on the program
where it belongs to. That way, when you do dethrone

(59:19):
him eventually that it's that much more cathartic. Now, the
only issue you run into is how long does he
keep it? Because he has been very adamant that December
thirty first, twenty twenty five, he's not wrestling anymore, which
means you don't have him in New Orleans. Would he

(59:40):
renegge on that? Would he allow him to give himself
four more months to finish the story? Or do you
finish the story at a different show? Do you do
it at a SummerSlam? Do you do it at a
Survivor series? To make that show a little extra juice
this year? Do you plan a show for December thirty first,
a New Year's e Evil or something that's what next

(01:00:02):
is called? But but and then that's where you know
Cody's last chance or W's last chance to take the
title away from Sina before he retires and vacates it himself.
I that is a story for a prediction for another day,
But for now, I think Scena gets seventeen. And as

(01:00:22):
much as I don't like him on my screen. I
want Rick Flair to be ringside, and I want John
Cena to spit on him. Not really, but what I
want John to share him right in the face, even
go down, like getting his face with the belt in
his hand, just to be like, take that, old man,
you are irrelevant now.

Speaker 5 (01:00:41):
Would seen him be a you for doing that, though
I don't know. Some people might cheer that.

Speaker 6 (01:00:45):
Well, some people would. I know I would, but.

Speaker 5 (01:00:49):
You know I still want him to do it.

Speaker 6 (01:00:51):
Yeah, I just wanted to do it still technically a
heel thing to do. Technically yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:01:00):
Trade himself.

Speaker 6 (01:01:01):
Sina will stare at him and we'll start bleeding out
of his out of his forehead. But yeah, I do
think uh, long story short, Sina gets number seventeen.

Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
Yeah, I think he gets number seventeen as well. So
the only thing, though, Jason, with the way you said,
is I don't what the hell is Sina doing? Like
he doesn't have anything coming up?

Speaker 6 (01:01:21):
He has five shows. I have six shows.

Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
I haven't en no, no, no, I mean like movies and stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
He ain't.

Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
He ain't doing bleed me and doing crowd.

Speaker 3 (01:01:28):
You're right now.

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
The last thing he did was like Ricky Staniky and
it was brutally bad.

Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
I watched.

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
The only thing I'm seeing on IMDb is that he
is in pre production for the Jansen directive. I don't
know what that's supposed to mean. A J A N
S O N S E N My directive is uh
to have seen it with the title.

Speaker 5 (01:01:56):
That's my director.

Speaker 6 (01:01:59):
John moves to Delaware lives Janssen's life.

Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
Yes, in Brandywan, Delaware, me and him go to the
Actually we watch movies together at the Regal.

Speaker 6 (01:02:11):
Now there you go there.

Speaker 2 (01:02:13):
It is none of his movies because he's not in
anything coming out soon. But yeah, I do like the idea,
though Jason, of him going around and doing any kind
of like press touring of Hey, I have the title
now I am WWE. You guys have like all of this.
I am w W I always have been Boom Cody
Roads Chase.

Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
Is that awesome? All right?

Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
So that is it for the WrestleMania Round Table. Any
