We had the pleasure and honor of sharing the great news that city of Chicago was honoring the visionary work of Sajdah Wendy Muhammad in the restoration of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad's former home and preserving this great history and accomplishments.
Hosts Bj Murphy and Naba'a Richard Muhammad talked about the honor and Sister Sajdah's dedicated efforts.
The property is now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, is the former home of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the former National House of the Nation of Islam; located at 4847 South Woodlawn Avenue in the historic Kenwood District of Chicago, Illinois.
Built, in 1902, designed by famed architects Frost and Granger, the turn of the century mansion is currently being renovated and transformed into a House Museum that will offer virtual and in-person tours.
We took calls from listeners who talked about politics and its failures, tariffs and Donald Trump's policies, the failure of the Democratic Party to serve Black people and their history of exploiting Black voters, the failure of Black elected officials to embrace Min. Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam, the continued problem of liberal and right wing White supremacy and other topics.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
