Activist Carolyn Ruff from Chicago joined us May 13 to talk about an incident that became a viral video: An Asian carryout owner stalked a young Black man demanding a tip after the customer paid for his food and left. The shop owner acted in a very aggressive and threatening manner.
Sister Carolyn is leading an effort to shutdown the joint, which is in Evanston, Ill,. a stone's throw from Chicago. Hear her explain who she outside the store several days a week and why she says the shop, Table to Stix Ramen and owner Kenny Chou, must go. Chou, who has apologized, threatened to slap the s**t out of the young man.
