The Fairfield County Poorhouse investigation delivers consistent, compelling evidence that leaves us wanting more. Built in 1828 with a peak population of 82 "inmates" (as patients were called then), the property carries heavy historical weight that seems to fuel its paranormal activity.

Beneath the surface lies a disturbing discovery – the cemetery houses thousands of bodies buried standing up, with only six proper headstones purchased by families. This disrespect in death seems to amplify the spiritual energy that permeates the location. We encounter several spirits including Willie, an abolitionist who wanders the halls searching for something lost, and tragically, Jane Householder, who suffered an agonizing death after her clothes caught fire from a gas stove.

Our investigation yields remarkable results through multiple techniques. The "human pendulum" experiment produces immediate responses as spirits use an investigator's body to communicate through subtle movements. Even more compelling is what happens during our spirit box sessions – two investigators at opposite ends of the attic, both wearing noise-canceling headphones, unknowingly begin answering each other's questions through spirit communication. This cross-location communication, impossible through normal means, suggests entities actively facilitating conversation between separate areas.

Physical encounters intensify as the night progresses, with investigators experiencing extreme cold spots and the sensation of cobwebs moving across skin. Our most unnerving moment comes when unmistakable footsteps in the attic prompt concerns about a possible intruder, leading to a hasty exit through an emergency door while waiting for security to clear the building.

Beyond this investigation, we dive into broader paranormal topics, including the supposedly relocated Annabelle doll and its potential connection to recent disasters, and the shifting energy we're feeling in the spiritual realm as we move further into 2024. We sense increased sensitivity and more frequent compelling evidence, coinciding with what feels like a collective spiritual awakening.

Intrigued by the paranormal? Join us for future investigations and follow our journey as we continue exploring the strange deranged beyond insane.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good evening everyone .
Welcome back to the Strange, strange Beyond Insane podcast.
This is your host speaking, melissa, and I have special
guest slash birthday girl thatis going to talk about I want
her to talk about, like her POV,basically on a recent haunt
that we went to in.
I'm sorry you guys, I alwaysfuck up the location, it's

(00:22):
Fairfield County but I'm goingto let Carissa get on here and
talk about some history andeverything else that she needs
to say about it, because I toldher it's her birthday gift, pick
where you want to go, and shepicked this place and I was
extremely satisfied, so let'sget her on here.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Welcome Hi.
So I think this was like likeone of our better investigations
, Like we had a lot of action, yes, Like I felt like it was
something every at least once anhour.
Yeah, I think that's freakingphenomenal.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah well, the end of the night was like jackpot for
me, but I'm going to let you.
Oh yeah, yeah well, the end ofthe night was like jackpot for
me, but I'm going to let you.
Oh yeah, I'm going to let yourun this girl and you do it how
you want.
If you want to start off withsome history and all that, just
remind the listeners, you knowthat we have a bunch of lives
that we're going to be followingwith this.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yes, so a little history on the Canfield County
Refrigeraryatory.
You never say it.
I hate that word.
Poorhouse, we'll go with.
Poorhouse, there you go.
Um, it was built in.
What was it?
1828 and um, that's just.

(01:39):
I know that at capacity therecord population was 82 inmates
in 1903.
And that's what they used tocall.
Them was inmates, but nowadaysthey would have been called
patients.
So they had like in thebeginning, when I was like

(02:02):
looking into a little bit of thehistory, it was kind of cool
Like they did a lot for thesepatients, like Lancaster
residents would donate likeChristmas gifts.
They had ice cream socials, local band and orchestras
playing music for the old folks.
But obviously not all the timeswere good.

(02:24):
But obviously not all the timeswere good.
And did you want to talk alittle bit about the cemetery
first?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
whatever you, I'm letting you.
It's your lead, this was your, this was your investigation.
I just followed okay.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
So behind the building there's a cemetery, and
I forgot how many exactly is inthe cemetery, but I know the
entire area.
There's almost 3,000 bodies andI was told by shout out, first

(02:59):
of all the Mr Cards, so Lisa, holly and Olivia.
They were so much fun to bewith and I really hope I can
investigate with them again.
But anyways, one of them hadsaid that you know how like
bodies, when they're put in theground they like lay flat, right

(03:20):
?
Well, these bodies are standingup.
And there was only sixheadstones, right?
Well, these bodies are standingup.
Yes, and there was only sixheadstones that families
actually bought for the cemetery.
It really kind of breaks myheart.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, I remember.
So we're going to replace someof a little bit of the history
from Patience that was her namethat did the tour for us.
Yes, she was great too, but Ilike we're not going to do all
of it because that's going tobore you guys.
So Chris is just kind of likehitting the bullet points before

(03:57):
she gets into, like, herexperiences, but that was
probably the most disturbingthing that I heard about the
place, to be honest yes, I agree, and so I guess there's a few
different spirits that are there.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
The one that I guess is the most well-known which,
excuse me, is the mostwell-known?
Which, excuse me, I'm wondering.
You remember when we werelooking down the hall and we saw
that?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
shadow, like all of us did, um the second floor
right.
Yes, yes.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I think we saw his name is Willie.
His name is Willie, and so Ilooked him up and it says he's a
abolition who is sent off tosecond and third floors.
And then he said Willie seemslost, like he's looking for
something he's almost alwaysseen walking aimlessly through

(04:58):
the halls, stopping occasionallyto peer out windows.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Okay, yeah, I remember she didn't really go
over that too much.
Uh windows.
Okay, yeah, I remember shedidn't really go over that too
much.
Uh-oh.
Okay, because I remember you.
But.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
I think we saw resident Lily.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
So I want to remind you guys, too, like my new.
For me personally, I likeletting the girls pick out the
locations.
Now, whether it's her orChristina or whatever, I love
the locations that they pick out.
They do an amazing job, and Ido not look up any history.
In fact, I didn't even knowwhat this place was called.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I know you went in completely blank.
I went in just a little blind.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
So it was really cool that Carissa had already kind
of like did some history, likeshe did a little bit of digging
on this.
I find it really fun, I think, like her and Christine are
really good researchers andinvestigators too.
But I like to just kind of likechill out and kind of like be
like, hey, take you know, pick aplace and let's go, and then I

(06:03):
loved it.
I mean I think it was, it was agreat, great location.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
But yeah, go ahead um , so there's uh, another, uh
ghost that her name is suzy, andshe's seen in like a few
different locations, like aroundthe morgue and doorways of
former offices I don't know ifit's doctor offices or exactly

(06:28):
what it is.
I did not see her so, but sheis said to be a young blonde
girl who appears sad or lonely.
Oh, that's sad.
Oh, that's sad, yeah.
And then we have JaneHolshelder, holder.

(06:49):
Well, I can't talk JaneHouseholder and Jane was a
resident there who was burnedalive.
That's where a gas stove caughther clothes on fire and she
didn't die right away, she diedlike hours later.
Yeah, that was sad.
So she, she has sufferedthrough all that.

(07:09):
Like I can't imagine the painand suffering she went through
and it kind of makes me sad thatshe's still there.
Like she, I don't think shewould be at peace and still be
there.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Yeah, I don't um, and still be there.
Yeah, I don't, um.
I had phantom pains listeningto this story from patients
because I burnt my hand reallybad, like five years ago, no,
six, seven, shit seven years agoum, up my arm a little bit and
that was enough for them toconsider it like I think like
nine to twelve percent burn andthat was fucking terrible.

(07:46):
I was off of work for over twomonths.
My boss would not let me comeback.
Um, he's like blah, blah andlike I cannot imagine.
I said after that happened Icould not imagine being burned
on my whole body like I think Iwould just die because, like
that was so fucking painful Icannot imagine, I cannot imagine

(08:06):
.
I cannot imagine that kind ofpain Like I oh my God, I'm like
kudos to burn victims.
Yeah, and maybe that's whyshe's still there, because she's
attached, like residually, tothat pain.
Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Yeah, I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
I wonder if like.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
I wonder if he could get the answer out of her.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
I wonder if, like her face was like morphed and
everything Like, did her facecatch fire too?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
I don't believe so.
It was just her clothes, whichI mean it was in the engulfed
shirt.
Oh, so I mean it could have.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
I have no idea.
Yeah, that was fucking sadhearing that story.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
It really is, oh God.
And then there's been, like youknow, stories of like suicides
but nobody can confirm those.
Um, I can't remember what thepatients say.
One of the patients attacked umlike one of the superintendents
.
Yes, I remember Upstairs.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yeah, yeah, um, like one of the superintendents.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Yes, I remember upstairs, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
.
So there was that, but a lot ofpeople, you know, and we heard
it too they did somebody voices,um, we heard footsteps.
We had like very strangefeelings feelings I know I did

(09:26):
when we were up in the attic, when I was in the dungeon doing
the essay experiment okay, butbefore you get into that, um,
this place is like the sister ofmadison.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
yes, and chris had quite the experience at Madison.
I did not see what she seen.
So when she was getting alittle sad doing the essay, I
was like my instinct was to jumpdown.
I started to jump down to goget her but I was like no, she
seems okay.
I think she'll take theheadphones off if she's not.
But we'll get into that morewhen you talk about it.

(10:02):
But let's tell them what welearned A new tactic, the human
pendulum.
Oh, that was so cool.
I've never seen that done.
Like.
When she said that at first Iwas like okay, I don't know how
this is going to go.
That was really cool watchingthat with that guy.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yes, I think that, like me, and Christina should
try that like in a cemetery onenight.
Yeah, I, I thought that thatwas such a cool experiment to do
and it was cool so when becauseit was only us and two other

(10:49):
people in the overnightinvestigation besides the host
and the photographer Right.
And so when they asked if oneof us wanted to be the human
pendulum, remember the candlewas going on and off and we said

(11:10):
we'll count to 10.
And if you want, melissa, turnon the light.
And it was like immediate, andI think whatever was upstairs
was very drawn to you.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Well, I don't know, because I think they wanted me
to do the pendulum, but I thinkyou had even better
communication, you and the otherguy, when you both were doing
the Essies.
So I think it was like meantfor you to do that and then it
was.
You know, that was cool, thatwas really.
That's probably like one of thebest experiences we've had.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Absolutely yeah.
So, and then a little bit aboutmy experiment, the SC session.
I was in what's called thedungeon where they used to chain
up some of the patients orinmates, whatever you want to
call them out, some of thepatients or inmates, whatever
you want to call them and so I'msitting there and I'm, you know

(12:10):
, repeating what I hear over thesmear box that's in the
headphones and I'm blindfolded.
So you know, you're just inyour head and it was crazy.
I felt like my right side golike extremely cold, and then,

(12:32):
like I don't know, probably likewhat, five minutes later I had
to take off everything.
I had bubble breaks in my hairand it moved, it wiped across
the back of my neck and, forwhatever reason I'm not easily
jumped or anything, but it justthey touched me.

(12:54):
I was like, okay, I'm done, andtell them, kind of what you
heard between me.
So it was me doing it in thedungeon, which is still in the
attic, and then there was agentleman down at the other end

(13:17):
doing the same thing.
Yeah, and were we not likecommunicating or something?

Speaker 1 (13:22):
yeah, they were communicating completely and
answering each other and, um,lisa was telling me to repeat
what you were saying so thatthey could hear, and then she
was repeating.
Like he was loud enough I couldhear him chris is a little more
soft-spoken than he was but itwas so fucking crazy.

(13:45):
I'm like you would think theywere having a conversation.
There's no way, because theyboth had wireless headphones on,
with music going like loudRight.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yep, it was definitely an interesting
experience and I just rememberthe most like interesting part
about it is I just got gettingmom and mama like a lot.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Well, we got a name that came up on my phone while
you were saying that, that Pauland I were like thinking about
naming the baby and that wasReally yeah, I didn't.
I thought I showed you that Ican send you the screenshot on
the oh, you need to yeah, andI'm like um, but I never felt
bad, like I didn't.
I didn't feel bad being pregnantthere.

(14:32):
I felt very protected.
I didn't.
I mean, if I would have feltbad I would have like left the
attic right.
But I wasn't even freaked outat the end of the night in the
attic how they were.
I was like this is kind of coolto like.
Now, when they were doing thehuman pendulum on me, I didn't
really feel if I was goingforward or backwards.
A lot of times I felt like Iwas going sideways With me.

(14:55):
What was yes, what was no?

Speaker 2 (14:59):
I believe your yes was going backwards and your no
was going forward.
But do you remember I wasvideotaping you and you had
given me your phone and I hadput it in my pocket and I have
the video to show that my phonewas directed at you and then all

(15:21):
of a sudden it gets like shovedto the left and then back to
the front and your phone dropsout of my pocket.
Whether that was paranormal ornot, I don't know.
I don't want to be like oh forsure, but it was a really weird
situation.
Like it's scary.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
It made me jump when it hit the floor on my phone you
hear like a wind gust flyingpast you.
So they're gonna hear all this.
Um, this is just kind of likethe introduction.
I wanted to get like what youfelt there, uh, and then I want,
I wanted to just get you tolike talk about, of course, the
end of the night.
Um, yeah, oh, tell them aboutthe buses.

(16:03):
Course the end of the night.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah, oh, tell them about the buses.
Oh, yeah, the buses.
There's two of them, and theywere on the set of American Love
Story.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Yeah, they're old, they're cool-looking.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
They're very cool-looking, very retro, very
broken down, and I loved it.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
It just comes with a creep vibe.
Yeah, and they were small buses.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Yeah, the ones that I belong on.
And then at the end of thenight, uh, it was just me, you,
um, holly, lisa and olivia, andwe were all in the jail cell and

(16:56):
we heard like footsteps of thebus.
And at first we're all like, did you hear that?
Do you hear that?
And we're all excited.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Well, hold on hold, on hold on.
We've seen a shadow.
We I seen a short shadow andthen you guys kept seeing like a
taller shadow.
I'm like what the hell?
But then what we were gettingon our phones was basically a
man, and all of a sudden it waslike he was in our hallway and

(17:26):
above us too at the same time, and that's what freaked Lisa out
.
But go ahead.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Yeah, so it happened to the point where we thought
that there could possibly havebeen somebody that came in while
we were investigating like asquatter, and so they called oh,
what was his name?

Speaker 1 (17:48):
well, you got to kind of tell the whole story.
Girlfriend lisa was scared outof her fucking mind, her eyes.
I'm like, do you really thinksomeone's in here?
Well, what freaked me out waswhen holly was like oh my, the
downstairs door is not locked.
I'm like, fuck and tell themabout the footsteps, like

(18:09):
they're going to.
I don't know if they're goingto hear it.
I think you have the bettervideo, but like kind of like,
try to get them in the moment, like what it sounded like.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
They were loud, very, there was no doubt.
It sounded like there wassomebody above us with boots on.
They were making sure we heard.
Yeah, and I think that's why, when they thought maybe there

(18:39):
was somebody in the building, Iwas like no, because if somebody
was like breaking in thebuilding, they'd be like
tiptoeing around.
Yeah, and we called out too,you know, to see if anybody was
there.
And it was definitely aninteresting night.
Well, where my dream?

(18:59):
I was a little nervous, youknow, because everybody else was
scared.
I was like, okay, maybe, butwhere did?
In my head I'm like thefootsteps were so loud.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Where did my deranged brain go?
What did I go grab?

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Uh well, what did you grab?
It wasn't a bat, but it was oh,um, oh, what the fuck, was it A
globe, a snow globe?

Speaker 1 (19:24):
I'm like we got this.
There's fucking four.
There's four of us.
Tell me I would not survive ina fucking horror story you would
be the one that makes it outalive no, I'd make sure we all
got out alive, because why?
Women together are crazy.
I kept saying I'm, there's fourof us, we're okay.
Lisa's like.

(19:44):
You guys got to get out of here.
You guys have to get out ofhere.
She pushed us out of theemergency exit.
Yeah, still great.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
I know, and I'm scared to heights and I'm
looking down.
I'm like, hey, everyone'sbehind me except for you.
And I'm just like I have to godown.
Okay, so now tell them about.

(20:11):
My fat ass is eating an icecream cone right now.
That's nice.
My fat ass is currently smokinga dupe.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Well, smoke a dupe for me and your nephew or niece,
because, remember, we didn'tannounce, we didn't announce it
yet, okay, um, oh, my god, tell, tell them when we were outside,
like how long we were waiting.
But I do you remember how theattic lights went?

Speaker 2 (20:33):
yeah, so yeah, they pushed us out of the emergency
room or emergency exit.
We're sitting in my car, it'slike four o'clock in the morning
, so the event was done, but wecouldn't go back in there to get
our equipment, so we had towait like almost 45 minutes
while they swept the building, which the building is huge.

(20:57):
So I get that it took a while, but it was crazy because you
would only see like partiallights turning on in the attic
and it, I don't know.
It just seemed I don't knowwhat's the one I'm looking for.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
At first we questioned we, we're like, is
this staged?
And then we're like, no, it'snot because they woke up, adam,
at four o'clock in the morning, like he adam, that's his name.
Yeah, yes, it was, yeah, it waswild, and I kept saying I'm
like maybe they all gotslaughtered and you're like shut
up no, that was an amazinginvestigation and oh, some of

(21:53):
the cool like things about it Iloved.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Do you remember that doll with the fish head?

Speaker 1 (21:59):
yeah, yeah, I got a lot of pictures.
That was awesome.
That was awesome that wasawesome.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
And then I remember there was a tampon left as an
offering.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Do you remember that?
Yeah, there was like tampons inlike the kids' rooms.
I'm like, why would you offer atampon?

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Yeah, in the boys' kids' room, you're right.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
That was kind of weird.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
That was the only thing I wish we would have done
is we would have brought somelike toys that left there.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
I could have left that Fisher-Prey xylophone there
.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
No, that's a trigger object I'm talking about like a
little man's boxcar or somethingWe'll have to go back.
Mm-hmm, it's a definite go backto.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
So what were you seeing in the attic when we were
all sitting there like late atnight?

Speaker 2 (23:04):
when we were all sitting there like late at night
, I did see something at the end, you know, of the room.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
Yeah, by the window.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Yes, yes, there's a dark shadow.
I was having kind of a hardtime seeing it because my eyes,
I was like, am I seeingsomething or am I not?
I remember asking you guys.
I'm like, are you seeing whatI'm seeing?
Because it was so dark.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
I seen something crawl real quick down the middle
about halfway to us.
I'm like ooh.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Really I did not see that.
No, yeah, I see that.
I saw it lurking more by thewindow.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Oh, so from a scale of one to ten, what would you
rate that place?

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Eight and a half Good .
For sure Maybe even a nine.
Good yeah, yep, yep, yep.

(24:22):
They called all that.
I can't remember the wholestory, but anyways, we were in
their room and we were doingthis weird last session and you
were talking to olivia and itsaid karen.
And you said no, her name's notkaren.
And then it's really hard tohear on my video, but because

(24:46):
Olivia was like, but I can't bea Karen or something, and I
heard this bear fox ask who'sthis?

Speaker 1 (24:55):
then yeah, that's crazy.
I got really really reallytired in that room, did you?

Speaker 2 (25:02):
I was cold in that room, did you?

Speaker 1 (25:04):
I was cold in that room.
Yes, it was cold.
I remember that I got reallyfucking cold and tired and my
back started to hurt.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah, oh, my whole body was like tense because I
was so cold.
Like you know, that feeling youget, oh yeah, when you're
really cold and your whole bodyjust I hate that, yeah, yeah
that's what I felt in that room.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
So I believe, like I was just telling Jenny this the
other night, because she neverdid any form of like
psychedelics.
I was like when you trip onanything, you know you have to
be around good people, right,Because you're going to have a
bad trip.
And I believe I mean even moreso now, like the last year of
doing this, you know, becausewe've been doing it for a while

(25:56):
now.
I feel like it's a big trip andI feel like people can either
trip really good together doingan investigation or it can go
very sour, and I think it reallydepends on people like negative
energy versus positive energy, and I think it really depends on
people like negative energyversus positive energy.
And I can tell you it was allpositive that night and it
really shows you that you haveto be careful.
Who you're investigating withyou do Seriously, Because we all

(26:18):
meshed very well together, eventhe guys, even the two guys too
.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Yeah, the Ghost Bros shout out to that.
They were like super nice.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
So did you like I had such a good time, did you?
Huh?
Did you like this place morethan Madison?
No, no, okay, but it's equallyup there with Madison.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Madison's like a 10 and Eric Neal's a 9.
Okay, fair Madison, I'm alwaysgoing to have a connection with
that place because it scares theshit out of me, right?
Or it pisses me off, whateveryou want to say.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Well, she didn't poop , but I, she, she definitely
cried.
Those were real tears, oh yeahI still have that picture of you
yeah, you know, right after Yep.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
So is there anything you want to add about this place
?
I just Because I have one moretopic I want to talk about
tonight.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
I'll just say, hey, it was a very solid
investigation.
I'm extremely satisfied, thepeople.
I'm satisfied with the facility, the action, all of it Mm-hmm.
So overall, yeah, I give itabout an 8.5 for sure, 8.5 to 9.
Yeah, absolutely, go ahead andgo on with it.
I'm sorry, go ahead.

(27:51):
This is your show.
Carissa explains it all.
Tell us what's your next topic.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
Let's talk about Annabelle and what is going on.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Dude.
I'm like like is this fuckingfor real or is this like a
copycat?
Annabelle like is this a realdeal?

Speaker 2 (28:07):
I don't know I think it's absolutely the real deal
and I think that all thesedisasters and shit that's
happening is because they'refucking with her.
They need to leave her whereshe belongs.
I don't know, don't be movingher.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Don't be fucking with her dude.
They opened it.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
They opened the case and that's where they fucked up.
Now.
Oh gosh, I just.
It bothers me as a paranormalenthusiast.
Do I want to see Annabelle inperson?
Of course I do, Behind a glass,of course, but I'm not going to

(28:52):
go see her while she'straveling.
I would oh no.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
I want to know well, you know what they're saying
about the anawaki anawuki.
However, you say that, whatthat it's, they're gonna make an

(29:20):
announcement about it like thegovernment, like it's real.
All this shit's tied in dude, paranormal, ufo, alien, whatever
you want.
All this, it's all the fuckingglitch in the matrix.
I've been saying this now for along time and I'm telling you
we're we're going, oh so, toyour one theory that you had
months ago about that we'reactually in 2017.

(29:45):
Now the calculation where we'reat now in the aquarium age,
we're actually back in 2012, andin 2012, the mayan calendar
said that we died our physicalor, I'm sorry, our old conscious
and our new conscious haskicked in.
So what do you think about that?
Maybe that's why Annabelle'strue.
I mean, this is why all theseweird things are happening yeah

(30:09):
yeah, I just, I don't know, it'sweird, it's very weird.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
All I'm saying is thank God, she should have never
been moved.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Yeah, I kind of agree .
Now, what else happened?
They brought in an Americanpope.
Did you see that he's American?
Oh, no, no, I didn't.
Yeah, people.
And then, of course, we'retalking shit about us virgos.
We're like, oh, and he's avirgo, I'm like, oh, fuck you.

(30:43):
Um, but that's like unheard ofto have an american pope.
Yeah so.
And then there was all thattalk about the old pope when he
was dying, how he was likeseeing demonic figures, and then
, oh, he died by okay, new pope.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
And then joe biden right I think he's had the
answer for quite a while.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Paul does too.
Paul said that the other night.
I do so.
Do you think joe biden hadalready died the other night?
Mm-hmm, I do so.
Do you think Joe Biden hadalready died?

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Mm-hmm, no, because people are like I don't mean,
you can go and there is bigchanges, well, subtle changes,
but like, if you look picture topicture, like how certain
facial features have changed.
So there's speculation that, like you know, there was a

(31:44):
replica made of him.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Okay, and then now all the celebrities are
biohacking themselves.
What do you mean?
Like Meghan Trainor, right, she's not all about that base
anymore?
She said publicly.
She said I will continue tobiohack myself.
Whatever magic I have to taketo age me reversed, I will do.

(32:11):
They all look fucking crazy,bro.
They literally do not look likethem, like this.
There's a lot going on.
You, you cannot tell me that'sjust fucking plastic surgery.
That is not plastic surgery.
I'm telling you, it's the newdeath becomes her.
It's like real life, all thesethings.

(32:36):
Look at all the tornadoes.
We just had a bunch oftornadoes again in southeast
Michigan.
Oh, did you see the ship thatcrashed into the?
I think it's the MassachusettsBridge.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Oh no, it wasn't there.
Yeah, it was a ghost there.
What bridge was it?
Yeah, it was a ghost ship.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Yeah, and it killed some navies, Navy SEALs.
Yeah, and Annabelle was likearound that Yep, I was waiting
for you to say that Yep, Well,Just bad, bad juju following
wherever she's going.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
That's why she needs to go back where she belongs.
Have some priests do theirmagic.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
I feel, since they opened up the Vatican all of a
sudden.
Then the Pope got really sickand all this shit was happening.
Now it's like we've likeshifted timelines again and
everything that they've keptaway, they're bringing to light.
The Diddy trial.
Did you see what Diddy lookslike?
Gray Aged, I mean, oh my God,for years, and that he, like his

(33:53):
, basically like associates, um,prs, whatever were threatening
steve harvey to never sayanything.
Now justin bieber is finallygonna I think he's gonna go to
trial and talk about whathappened with him.
It's just like everything iscrashing.
We're okay, but everything onthe outside is like finally how

(34:17):
do I say it Realistically isfinally coming to light.
Yeah, the pizza box, the pizzathing.
I did a whole podcast on that.
You know what that's about,right?
Uh-uh, oh girl, see, carissadoes not keep up on this podcast
sometimes.
You guys, you hear her.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
I know I slack, I slack.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
Okay, but.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
I do eventually listen to them, so so the pizza
thing kind of started.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
I mean, I'm not going to say it started, but I
started to really see a lot onit with Ellen DeGeneres.
So it was like over 10 yearsago.
I want to say it was like atthe Oscars or whatever.
She was like, hey, everybody,we should have a pizza party on

(35:06):
the actual, like publicannouncement.
So they've broke it down andthe pizza party, the whole pizza
thing, is actually like thepedophiles.
I had heard something about that, yes, okay, I don't know much.
But then now Paris Hilton justmade a video, I don't know if it
was today or yesterday.
She had all these boxes ofpizza out and she's like doing

(35:29):
this video and she's like thisis how I like my pizza.
Now all the celebrities arelike talking about pizza again
and I'm like, oh fuck, here wego, wow, it's.
You know, everybody used totalk about conspiracy people and
say how crazy everyone was, butnow it's all coming to light,

(35:49):
it all makes sense and I'm gladI was on the side that could see
the truth okay.
So let me ask you this witheverything coming to light, what
do you think this is going todo for the paranormal field?

Speaker 2 (36:06):
I think it's going to be.
It's going to explode and Ithink it's going to become more
of the norm, like people aregoing to want to do like seances
and know that, like there arepeople that truly can connect
with the dead and they cancommunicate with their relatives

(36:29):
, and I don't know.
It might be good to have thatsort of closure.
So I think it'll be good thatpeople are more open.
But at the same time, I know alot of fakes are going to come.
Yeah, and it's going to.
I don't want it to ruin thereputation, like we already have

(36:51):
enough fakes, and I don't wantmore people trying to make a
quick buck.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
I hope Zach Beggin goes down too with all the rest
of them.
He's starting to Mm-hmm.
Bye, bye, fake-ass motherfucker.
Bye Hollywood From Michigan.
Yeah, get the.
Oh.
Yeah, he definitely is not ahumbled.
Most Michiganders that getfamous like Kid kid rock.
Well, eminem's a little weirdnow, but they usually stay

(37:17):
fucking humbled, like yourmidwest is like humbled people
for the most part because we'reall kind of the same.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
they're not moving to fucking la.
They're still sticking aroundin michigan, obviously in the
richie parts, but they're stillin michigan yeah, so yeah, I
think it's gonna be, I thinkit's going to be wild.
Yeah, any other how?

Speaker 1 (37:39):
do you feel about this?
I think it's going to be a wildride and I think for us that
are actually real, the littlepeople in the spiritual world,
as you call it, spiritual realmsame thing as being religious,
whatever.
I call myself spiritual,whatever, right.

(38:00):
Um, I think we're going to geta lot of downloads.
I think we're going to gethella.
Um, very, um, crazy dreams, very lucid dreaming.
Um, I just bought two moretarot deck cards.
I told myself almost a year agoI'm like I'm not buying any more

(38:22):
tarot decks or any more Oracledecks.
And I went.
I mean it, just my bodyliterally took me to Barnes and
Noble.
I don't go to Barnes and Noblea lot.
I got out of five below and Iwas like I need to go to Barnes
and Noble, yeah.
And then I kept looking aroundcause they changed, like you
know, the spiritual part and Idid not want to ask anybody.
I'm like my body needs to leadme where it should be.

(38:44):
And it girl.
I walked around, my pregnantfat ass.
I walked around that place andwalked around, and walked around
.
I almost gave up.
I'm like, oh my God, my legsare tired, Like I want to go
home.
And then, boom, I found and I'mlike oh, it was like one small
shelf, and I'm like, huh.
So I think I'm kind of likegetting a little itchy.

(39:04):
My brain doesn't tell me, it'smy body, it's just like a
feeling.
You know, I've gotten a lotmore sensitive and it has
nothing to do with beingpregnant.
I'm more like I kind of likecan feel like karma, but not bad

(39:27):
karma like and not like, oh,hey, I want something bad to
happen to you.
It's more like it's kind of sadfeeling where I'm like oh, this
person or all that person, it'skind of like I feel I've been
feeling a lot of other people'senergy and I think that the
spiritual realm and theenergetic fields are just super

(39:48):
high right now and I thinkthey're going to continue to
just get more and more sensitiveas we go on, Because I think
this they said 2025 was the yearthings were going to change.
Yeah, so Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
That's my feeling.
I think both of us could bevery well right.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
Well, we'll see on your birthday.
Chris is turning 30 thisSaturday, the 24th.
Who's going to go with me?
She's going to go with meparticipate at a live event.
We're going to be live Jenny'slive.
We're going to um, oh, I cannotwait Cause she hasn't been to
this museum yet.
I cannot wait to show her allthe Ouija boards, girl, he has

(40:38):
like ancient Ouija boards.
They're beautiful.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
Oh my God, I wish I had the money.
I love collecting Ouija boardsso I actually like the history
behind the Ouija.
I've never had anything badhappen to me.
People bitch at me all the time.
Ouija board, spirit box thesame fucking thing.
People, it's the same guy.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
as long as you say goodbye.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Same thing as spirit boxes.
We always say goodbye.
Thank you for communicating.
Exactly I love the history, love, love the history behind
Ouija and I absolutely love thehistory.
Well, talking boards.
I'm going to bring my talkingboard because it's glow in the
dark.
Jenny told me to bring that oneso they can see it.

(41:25):
But I like I just love thehistory behind tarot too.
Like I just it's a historicpart.
I really turned into like a bigdork.
That's okay.
I'm big dork, that's okay.
I'm an adult too.
You know what I mean.
Like it's the history behindthis stuff.
That's like wow, there were somany intelligent people even

(41:45):
back then.
Like they already knew theirshit, that, and like we're still
learning all this.
Yeah, these things have beenaround.
These, these, you know, piecesof equipment that were used to
communicate have been around forhundreds and hundreds of years.

Speaker 2 (41:59):
Yeah so, and they were so advanced like astrology
and Yep.
They have like so much moreinsight than I feel like what we
do.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
Right, and I'm trying to learn this slowly over the
years.
But, like you guys, tarot, astrology, numerology, like this
shit is fucking advanced, likeit's hard, it's like to master
that.
You almost have to like go toschool for it.
And let me tell you, when youlearn the numerology, when you
learn it all together, therisings behind, like you know

(42:38):
the degrees, it all makes sense.
So, yeah, yeah, it's um, pretty, pretty, fucking cool.
I love all this.
I just the the beat, the.
It's more like for me.
It's like how do I say this?

(42:59):
It's like so cliche to like sitaround, bring out a Ouija board
or a talking board and be likelet's see what happens.
It's like, no, for me, what ifthey don't even want to talk
through the boards?
Like they might, that mightjust circulate energy, like
think about 200 years ago themdoing this.

(43:19):
But I do really want to have areal stance one night.
I've always wanted to do a realone, preferably.
I was going to say preferablywhen I'm not pregnant.
We should do that.
I was going to say preferablywhen I'm not pregnant, right,
don't you?
We should do that.
How many?

(43:44):
You need like four for a seance, right?
Or is it five?

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Have you noticed something else?
What I hate to say this youguys, we're not sexist, we're
not like pussy power girlseither, we're not like feminist,
but a lot of the Well, at leastfor us.
Like you and I, we didn't dolike a lot of paranormal stuff,
like events for a while.
Well, we had our own shit goingon too, but it's like all the

(44:20):
women came back strongertogether, like energetically,
like something poked us in theasses, lit a fire in our asses,
and like a lot of the dudes werelike in the field, were like
bye, like they all kind of likedipped out and now it's just us
again.
It's all of us girls.
Again, it's like so witchy, Ilove it, theresa.

(44:42):
Theresa's like for real.
She's like we need to start acoven.
I'm like, well, we need to havea place to have a coven.
She's like, well, we can find aplace that would be cool, though
, wouldn't that be cool to havelike a modern day, um, like a,
yeah, like a modern day coven Iwould definitely dig the modern

(45:08):
day witch, hot like high rise.
I would do like the high risewaisted pants with like not like
a fucking blazer coat that ourmoms used to wear, with like
shoulder pads, but like morefitted Uh-huh, I could see you
wearing like a dress, like along black, yeah, flowy dress.

(45:31):
You're definitely like a StevieNicks.
I would be.
I don't know what I would be.
I feel like I'd be more of likethe Joan Jett yeah, you would
be, and then Harry Sack would be.
Who would Harry Sack be?
I don't know.

(45:52):
Obviously she's blonde.
Teresa's like a little shortand cute and like sassy.
I don't know.
That would be fun.
That would be cool as fuck.
Dude, I want to buy an oldchurch, so bad.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
Me too.
So when me and Guy werestarting to look for homes,
there was an old church for sale, but like the inside I mean it
would have been so much work.

Speaker 1 (46:21):
I know, I know, I know, I remember you telling me.

Speaker 2 (46:24):
I could not Like.
Every time I get on Zillow Ilook to make sure the house was
not, or the church was not, forsale yet, and the house just, or
the church'm now just keptgoing down and down, and down.
I haven't checked in a longtime so I have no idea if it's
for sale, but I really wanted it.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
well, what turned me on about this?
This was years ago, because youknow I love my food network and
my h3 tv.
Um, actually, this was beforethe pandemic, when the housing
market was still pretty good.
A lot of the builders you knowon tv were buying old churches
and they kept them historic.
So they had to keep, like, thehistorical signs and stuff in

(47:05):
the bell, but they were turningthem into really cute little
homes and I was like that wouldbe so dope.
I wouldn't want it to be myhouse, but I would want it to be
, like you know, our base camp, coven, whatever you want to call
it.
Yeah, but I would.
I would want like a super smallone, like it's 600 square foot,

(47:25):
like small, yeah, you know, just with like a, like a
bathroom in there and, like youknow, just small and easy to
upkeep.
But that would be, oh my God,that would be so cool.
We would have to figure outwhat we would name it.
Yeah, I would love to make itlike a metaphysical church.
Yeah, so I don't know, we gotbig plans on a bare budget.

(47:53):
Yeah, we do.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
But one of us is going to hit the a bare budget.
Yeah, we do, but one of us isgoing to hit the lottery one day
.

Speaker 1 (47:59):
Yeah, well, I'll be listening to you in the
afterlife telling me the samething.
I'll say well, girl, we neverhit the lotto.
So here we are, still slaving.
You're wrong, I'm right, stillworking.
You know they're going to makeus work.

Speaker 2 (48:21):
You probably get to work yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
I don't think this mouth is going to make money,
but I mean, I sure can talk, Ican do a lot of talking, but oh,
I wanted to say how was yourfirst Mother's Day?
You know it was weird.
I slept.
I had to keep my feet upbecause you know, we were at the

(48:44):
haunt the night before.
My feet were so swollen.
I was laughing.
I took videos of them.
I just made some brunch and Islept and I don't know.
It didn't really.
I will say this it was like thefirst Mother's Day.
It wasn't super sad.
Obviously, it was like my mombeing gone.
It's always rough.

Speaker 2 (49:04):
Right.

Speaker 1 (49:05):
It felt.
I felt very relaxed.
Good, I'm glad, how, oh soCarissa got the baby the cutest
onesie it says shh watchinghorror movies with my mom and
she made me homemade candles.
I did A Hocus Pocus one and aspirit guide candle, yep, and

(49:32):
then that was so cute, thank you.
So how was your mother's daywhen you went home with, oh, you
had to work.
You idiot, why did you work onmother's day?

Speaker 2 (49:42):
I know well, because it was sunday I had to, but I
had a great mom's day.
So like I got home and therewere cousins on the table for me
, I got my first fly loungeMichael Myers bag.

Speaker 1 (49:59):
Yeah, I know those are so cute.
I just wish they had morespooky ones.

Speaker 2 (50:03):
Yes, but I love it.
And then I have a necklace withJackson's first stone, and then
I had two candles from Jacksonthat he made.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
One that said Happy day, mama oh.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
I know I remember I'm gonna keep that forever, um,
with some cards and candy andlike, um, yeah, it was great.
And then I went to my cousin'shouse where my husband and my
cousin's husband made us steakdinners.
And then I came home and Icrashed out.
I was done.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
Did you have a baked potato with your steak?
No, no, you had french fries.
I know.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
I'm not about to eat baked potato.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
Thanks, but don't thanks oh girl Ew, you know, I
haven't had steak in a while.
That sounds good.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Hell yeah, the Big 30 .

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Dirty 30.
Over the hill.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
No 40.

Speaker 1 (51:29):
40 used to be over the hill girl, but you know what
we're gonna say when you reallythink about it.

Speaker 2 (51:37):
50 is not over the hill, it's more like 45.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
Oh my God, you don't even look.
40.
You look great, you have fun.
You know, michael Myers suitsCarissa, because if Jackson
wasn't so cute, that's all I'mgonna say.
She is gonna be the mom, theMichael Myers mom.
My son didn't do shit.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
Oh no, that's Jason.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
Oh, that's right, that's Jason.
That's from the lake.

Speaker 2 (52:05):
Yeah, no, Michael Myers is my boy.

Speaker 1 (52:08):
Michael Myers?
Oh yeah, because she likesattention from guys, so she
likes when he chases her with aknife.
He doesn't even really chaseyou attention from Guy, so she
likes when he chases her with aknife and then, and then she
falls over like the sexy girlsin the movies with the big boobs
and they're like, oh, and theyhave to get back up, don't stab
me, don't kill me, guy.

(52:30):
Should we tell our audience?

Speaker 2 (52:35):
There's a sign that says like safety one way and
danger the other, you go towardsthe danger oh my god, should we
tell them?

Speaker 1 (52:46):
the text that I sent back to your husband tonight was
a little surprising.
No, no, oh my god, she's mad atme, I'm so bad.
Yeah, I'm definitely the friend.
That's like you have to warneverybody about and you have to
like, if I have to be good, youhave to tell me like weeks in
advance.
You have to be good to the.

(53:06):
You know, if you're going towhatever great grandma's over
someone's over, you have to justyeah, I'm that friend.
Unfortunately no filter.
Yeah, she hates it but sheloves it.
She keeps coming back for more.
So I mean, I guess she's justas fucking crazy as me.
I'm glad it's her punishment.

Speaker 2 (53:33):
Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall for that
conversation?

Speaker 1 (53:37):
You know he's probably going to be like.
You know I agree with Mel, thatshould happen.
I would be the best sextherapist.
I'd be like just do sex, suckdick, do this, do that.
People would leave and theywould stay married right.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
I am very happy with my sex life.
My husband, Really.

Speaker 1 (54:05):
So you guys, we don't even like Guy's, never like
he's working all the time.
I'm starting to think maybe shemade him up and then maybe I
went off her imagination.
And you know I keep saying Ilove that Guy guy.
But like, does that guy guyeven exist?
I don't know.
She said poor guy guy, shesends him to work all the time.

Speaker 2 (54:33):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
Well, what a him, what a nice guy.
He's letting her go outSaturday night and he's gonna
watch the kid.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
Yeah, he's amazing.

Speaker 1 (54:48):
He's amazing.
Yep, you better be gettingbrownie points when he listens
to this episode.
Don't worry, we'll talk shitabout the husbands when we hang
up, like you know, on here, likeeveryone else does.
No, I, you know what, for once,I mean god, paul and I've been

(55:09):
married since, well, dinosaurtime.
Um, I'm telling you, paul hasbeen so great.
I did not think I mean, becausethere's times I just have like
the worst attitude and I'm likehe's probably so been so great.
I did not think I mean, becausethere's times I just have like
the worst attitude and I'm likehe's probably so over me being
pregnant.
He's probably like Jesus,fucking Christ.
But he's like you're doingeverything right and this and
that, and I'm like no, I'm notLike.

(55:29):
I don't like when people tellyou that like you look beautiful
when you're pregnant, like Iused to always tell everybody
that they're beautiful, like Ithink pregnancy is beautiful on
women, but when it's you, youdon't feel like you're just like
ugh, I look drab or I look.
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (55:45):
Yeah, I don't know.
I like towards the end of mypregnancy I was like all belly.
I loved it.

Speaker 1 (55:55):
Yeah, I like seeing the belly more now and I like
when I actually like do my hairand everything, I feel like a
lot better.
But like the first trimester, like the first couple months,
like I did not feel beautifullast few months of my pregnancy.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
I absolutely loved it .
See you were.
You were like my body looked.
Not necessarily the pain andsuffering of the last trimester.

Speaker 1 (56:26):
Yeah, I was gonna say , you and Kobe, my sister-in-law
, you guys were sickly like,threw up a lot and I didn't.
Well, I bragged about notthrowing up and then tonight,
you know, I had my.
This kid was like hold my beer, but um, you know what's that?

(56:52):
Do I feel, oh, from having anexorcism tonight.
Yeah, I feel my stomach isstill really weird, but I did
eat ice, a vomiting.
Yeah, I feel my stomach isstill really weird, but I did
eat ice cream cones.
I feel a little bit better.
Good, and you know me, I don'treally eat ice cream.
But I just had a banana whenyou were talking I was chowing
away.
I hope the audience isn't here.

(57:12):
It was like a banana like conedipped cone with like peanuts on
top.
It was like a banana like conedipped cone with like peanuts on
top.
It was so good, nice.
But um, I do want to put thisout here Like I'm sure a lot of
people talk shit about womenbeing pregnant and like doing
like the whole paranormal thingI felt completely protected.

(57:33):
I did.
I mean, I'm sure it helpedbeing with Carissa because she
is good at grounding us.
Like she, I can never rememberthe white prayer because I'm
stupid and I even before beingpregnant I had the brain of a
squirrel, but like she alwaysgrounds us, but I felt
completely fine.

Speaker 2 (57:51):
Yeah, certainly not.

Speaker 1 (57:53):
I felt fine about it.
You know, like I mean, do youfeel okay?
Like, is it weird for me tolike go on adventures like that?
I don't think so.
Okay, good, thank God you'relike a supportive friend and
you're not like, um, I don'tthink you should be doing that.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
Yeah, and it wasn't like we went somewhere where we
knew there was like an exorcismor demonic haunting or you know,
I probably wouldn't have feltcomfortable with that until you
were done being pregnant Really.
But yeah, just I don't know, itdoesn't hurt to be sick.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
Why do you think the baby's going to come out and be
like rah and I would do it back.
I'd be like, oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:39):
No, but I don't want anything negative to attach
itself to you and I want you tohave the best pregnancy, aren't
you sweet?

Speaker 1 (58:48):
sometimes, honestly, um, I was surprised because I
was like not cool about um atfirst.
I'm like, oh, we gotta fuckingwalk up that hill to go to that
cemetery hell.
No, but I actually felt so goodmoving around.
That's probably like the best Ihave felt towards like this
third trimester.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars?
