the Chicago trip with Teresa andthen the trip with Carissa to
Ohio.
I just figured I'd kind ofcombine them, so I'll kind of be
in between talking with thesevideos, you know, like the
(00:24):
recording, so that you guys kindof know which one's which and
what's going on and what we'redoing.
All right, you guys.
So I am going to play a slew ofrecordings from my ghost tube
app.
When I was in Chicago withTeresa, when we were at the
showman's cemetery the one withthe clowns Also we went to an
(00:45):
antique store and we got somestuff.
I did buy another Ouija board.
I think it's dated like 1965.
So I and this video right nowthat I'm about to play I did
have the Ouija board in front ofthe clown Baldi's grave.
So let me get this set up foryou guys.
(01:06):
Hey, baldi, can you move thatfor me?
I'd like to ask you yes or noquestions, if that's okay.
We're only here to chat.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I can hear the plane.
It's like screaming in thebackground.
See, I can't hear that.
That's why you want theTeresa's wearing the headphones
noise canceling.
Baldy, can you please move?

The homeless people
stick around trains, right?
They?
Speaker 4 (02:50):
climb into the carts.
Yeah, they're homeless.
So when that train accidenthappened, some of the people on
there could have been homeless.

going to dig.
That's illegal.
I would totally do it if it waslegal for you.
We can't do that, though.
That's not that I smell a cigarSmell that I smell something
too.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
It's a cigar.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
That's what they
smoke cigars, mm-hmm.
Well, wouldn't they call themcigarillos, yeah?
Speaker 4 (03:38):
I still smell it yeah
.

I can't hear you Sometimes.
(10:14):
We're a couple of minutes, yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
All right.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
If I throw a dime and
it lands on your tomb, will you
talk to me please?
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Said you both, you
want me to throw one too, both
of you.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Okay, I got a penny,
a shiny penny, and a dime.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Nice, shiny penny.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Okay, one, two, three
.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Let's try that again
don't come in.
Don't come in where I don'tknow.
I just want to walk my cavewhere's your cave?
Speaker 1 (11:01):
alright, you guys.
So we did take some recordingsinside of the hotel too.
But before I get into that, Ido want to just kind of go over
with you guys where we went.
So the cemetery that you guyswere just hearing the lives from
that's called the Showman'sRest and it's in Forest Park,
illinois, all right.
So the tragedy behind it isagain.
(11:22):
Just to kind of recap, back inthe early 1900s, running away to
join the circus wasn't just atale parents told their kids.
It was a genuine lifestyle.
People from all walks of lifejoined these traveling shows,
finding community under the bigtop.
Life in the circus meantadventure and, for many, a sense
of belonging where theycouldn't find it anywhere else.
(11:44):
But as thrilling as it was, itwas also a hard, demanding life,
filled with dangers both on andoff stage.
And in the early hours of June22, 1918, those dangers
accumulated in the form of oneand one of the deadliest train
wrecks in the US history.
So the Hagenbeck-Wck WallaceCircus, a well-known circus
(12:07):
traveling across the Midwest, had just finished a performance
in Michigan City, indiana, andwas en route to their next stop
in Hammond.
The performers and workers werefast asleep in their wooden
sleeping cars.
When disaster struck An emptytroop train barreling down the
tracks from Michigan.
Its engineer, alonzo Sargent, having fallen asleep at the
(12:29):
controls, plowed into the rearof a circus train.
The impact was devastating.
The wooden train cars were nomatch for the force and they
quickly splintered and burstinto flames.
In the moments between 56 and61, lives, basically, were lost.
So there were performers, workers and animals.
(12:56):
That fire that followed thecrash was so intense that
identifying the bodies wasnearly impossible.
Among the dead were Arthur deCrix and Max Nitzborn of the
Great Durex Brothers strongmanact of Jenny Ward Todd of the
Flying Wards.
Many of the victims were buriedwith simple grave markers
labeled, I'm sorry, unidentifiedmale or inscribed only with
(13:19):
their circus nicknames, likeBaldy and Smiley.
So the symbolism of theelephants.
Again you guys.
At this cemetery, in this exactlocation of the cemetery, just
for the circus performers, thefive majestic elephant statues
(13:42):
stand solemnly over the gravesof the circus performers, with a
foot placed gently on a balland trunks lowered in posture of
mourning.
These elephants carved fromstone aren't just a tribute to
the circus itself, but asymbolic representation of the
(14:03):
grief and loss experienced bythe circus community.
In circus culture, elephantshave always been a symbol of
strength, intelligence andloyalty, making them a very
fitting guardian for the restingsouls of those who dedicated
their lives to the Big Top.
(14:23):
So I'm going to say this I donot think that there is an evil
clown out there.
I think a lot of you knowparanormal enthusiasts or excuse
my French jackasses go out tothe cemetery and they like to.
You know mess, mess around, youknow, kind of like fuck around
(14:43):
and find out.
I think that they wantsomething evil to happen there
and you know you never want toantagonize the afterlife
whenever you're doing whetheryou're doing an investigation,
whether it's for fun or you'rewith a group you know, or to
actually accumulate someevidence and understand the
backstory.
I do believe how they died wasvery tragic and I think clowns
(15:06):
even back then were looked atlike people laughed at them, you
know, and that, like I evenread, it was a hard life for
them.
So I believe it's very tragicand I think that cemetery is
amazing.
It's very well kept.
I'm glad that they have theirown area.
I hate that we couldn't get alot of names.
You know a lot of, basicallyJohn Does and, I'm sure, jane
(15:30):
Does, and they just have numbers.
I think that's really sad, but, however, I will say from my own
experience and from theevidence that I have accumulated
, I do not believe that there isan evil clown in that cemetery.
An evil clown in that cemetery, all right.
(15:50):
So Teresa shared some disturbingfacts with me the other day
because she said on the podcast, when we were on here talking
about this, that she knew shewas going to forget a bunch of
stuff and then it would likecome to her a few days later,
okay.
So this hotel that we stayed at, just to recap on it, it was
the Hilton by Embassy ChicagoSuite.
(16:11):
Let me see exactly which oneHold on.
Okay, I didn't want to screw itup, so it's Embassy Suites by
Hilton Chicago downtown, riverNorth.
This was a crazy stay.
So, besides all this shit at atthe hotel we talked about this
you know the man that I didn'tsee that she's seen three times
okay, so when we left there totravel back home with her
(16:34):
daughter, natalie, I don't knowwhy we agreed on Mexican.
That was weird that we went forMexican, because we normally
would have just went to likesome diner.
So, anyways, we find thisMexican restaurant that was
right off the main road, verysmall, like hole in the wall.
I figured, okay, cool.
And then there was some.
(16:54):
There's some gambling ports inthere too, because it's legal
there in restaurants to gambleon, you know, like slot machines
.
So Teresa's anxiety was at anall time high, which I
understand.
Now.
Usually I'm just as observant,if not more, than you know, like
anybody around me, but she'svery observant too.
So definitely met my match whenI started hanging out with
(17:16):
Teresa.
So, anyways, she got very highstrung and she was like she
bitched at me in the restaurant.
I was like, fuck you.
She went to the bathroom.
She came back.
All I know is that our foodcame.
I just figured everybody'stired.
She's like telling me all thisshit.
She's like you don't rememberthe chef coming out, the big,
(17:36):
the big old guy.
Um, she's like you don'tremember the, our waiter,
locking the doors behind us andthen people were banging on the
windows and or, I'm sorry, theglass doors, and he'd go out
there and then say something andthen lock the doors again.
She's like you don't rememberme talking to the guy and saying
, hey, like, why are you lockingthe doors If you guys don't
(17:58):
close till nine?
It's like six, 37.
And he told her that they ranout of food, but like they're
bringing us out all of our food, right, I'm like I don't fucking
remember this.
She's like, how do you notremember this?
I'm like I don't even think Ilike seen this or like heard
this guy and I, and I wastelling her the other day, I'm
like the only thing I rememberis the guy sitting behind you,
(18:21):
um, eating his Mexican soup andwatching, I think, think,
youtube.
It was like Mexican YouTubebecause it's all in Spanish and
he had, you know, the volume up.
But anyways, she just said thatshe felt really uneasy and
she's like that's why I wasflipping out.
And I was like, okay, I didn'tknow that, I didn't realize that
.
And then she said something, told her not to eat the food
(18:44):
because she wasn't eating, and Ithought it was like her GERD
acting up so she couldn't eat it.
Um, but me and Natalie, ofcourse, were eating.
So the strangest thing is thatwhen we left there, teresa was
trying to apologize in the truckfor, you know, being bitchy,
whatever, everybody gets bitchyon vacation.
But I was like, whatever, I'mlike don't ever yell, like yell
at me, like, like in public, like that was fucked up, you
(19:06):
know, and she was like I'm sorry, I was just really uneasy and I
was like whatever, I'm likelet's just drive home.
And then we eventually startedtalking, obviously because you
know how girls are, we're youknow everyone's high strung,
everyone.
You know you're tired, you'vewhatever.
(19:28):
So all of a sudden Nataliepasses out in the back Cause.
I remember saying to Teresa I'mlike Natalie's really quiet,
does she have her headphones on?
And Teresa's like dude, she'spassed out.
And then shortly after that, Iwas like I could not fucking
keep my eyes open, like Iliterally was like I don't know
why, I'm tired, like this isweird.
And Teresa's like you need topull over.
So I did, and we were likehanging out in this parking lot
(19:51):
and I was like just give me like10 minutes to sleep.
And Teresa's like I don't know,I just feel weird.
She's like let's just go to thehotel across the street and
sleep for a couple hours.
I'm like, okay, that soundsawesome.
So, that sounds awesome.
So we go check into this hoteland we sleep.
And I think I got like three orfour hours of sleep.
But so now Teresa is telling meall this stuff, right, and she's
like this is why I wouldn'tfucking eat the food.
(20:11):
She's like I felt really weird.
I felt like they weren't goingto let us leave and I'm like,
well, that's weird that me andNatalie got really tired right
after and we ate Like that'sweird, right, okay.
So then Teresa tells me she'slike the money that you gave me
your cash for your half.
She's like I just used it as atip.
She goes.
So I get the bill and she goesit's like 90 something dollars.
(20:34):
And I was like there's nofucking way that was 90
something dollars.
It's a hole in the wall.
Fucking Mexican place Like atthe most for all three of us.
All we got was like beer, tacoswith like the beans and the
rice.
She's like, yeah, but Natalieadded on like two pops and had
this and that I said Teresa, that still would not have been
$92 like or 91 something.
(20:56):
She's like okay, but here's theweirdest part, right, she goes.
I put it on my card and she'slike I was telling Dave, her
husband, she's like I wanted tomake sure that everything was
okay and that they didn't likescam me or like add more.
She goes, I just did it.
She goes.
I felt really high strung there.
The fucking bill never was onher card and I'm like what do
(21:20):
you mean?
Like so they never took it out.
She's like it never wentthrough.
She's like I kind of feel likewe never even went there and I'm
like we definitely went there.
And she's like can you rememberwhat that place is called?
I was like no, and I didn'thave any pictures.
And then she was trying to findplaces around that cemetery
that would like match up.
(21:41):
She's like I could not find itat all.
She's like I couldn't findanything like that and I'm like
this is fucking strange.
So that trip was strange andagain we we were not going to
like a paranormal trip.
We were taking her daughter tothe hair show and the only thing
spooky that we were going to dois that on the way out we
(22:01):
wanted to go to that cemetery tosee the clowns.
That was it.
So, anyways, that's the secondpart to the Chicago trip and now
let's get into spooky trip withCarissa in Ohio a couple weeks
ago.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Built in 1828.
It was used as the county poorfarm, slash county home, slash
infirmary from 1828 until 1985.
Wow, yep, in 86, the healthdepartment took it over and it
was used as the healthdepartment, wic, children's
services, you name it.
Speaker 5 (22:35):
Everywhere, yep.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
You name it All the
way up until 2013.
It's not abandoned until 2018.
When Habitat for Humanity tookthe property over, they did a
haunted house here, just triedto raise money because they
essentially wanted to use it asa place for people who were
homeless to have a place to live.
It didn't really work out forthem.
We don't know if it was poormanagement of the money or poor
(23:01):
timing, because people didn'treally know what was going on
here.
They weren't really publicizingit until right before Halloween
, sure.
So then they lost it in 2020,and February was when Adam was
officially able to buy it in2020.
So we've had the building forjust a little over five years
(23:22):
now.
Investigations, which you guyshave been here, so you guys know
what the building's all about.
Um, but down here would havebeen mostly like an
administration type area.
There's a doctor's office, themorgue is down here.
The room across the hall isactually the funeral parlor.
So back in the 1800s and early1900s, prior to funeral homes
(23:47):
being built, not only could theresidents who lived here use the
funeral parlor, but the countyresidents were allowed to use
the funeral parlor if theydidn't want to have them in
their homes at that time, thisbump out area, so this room, the
room right next to us and thefuneral parlor rooms could also
(24:07):
be used by the superintendentsof the building.
So if they needed to sleep hereovernight, if they had to have
their family stay with themovernight because they needed to
be in the building for somereason prior to 1920, this would
be the area that would havebeen their residential space In
1920, though the house that yousee on the property was actually
built for their superintendentsto permanently live on property
(24:29):
.
Yes, the house is haunted.
No, you don't have access to it.
That is actually adam'spersonal living space when he is
in town, so nice cool, that's agood idea.
Yep, just like at madison, because the back house at
madison was built and when thatwas built, that became a
personal living space for him.
So, um, which madison's amazing.
(24:51):
If you two haven't been tosyria, I've been, these two have
been.
So I know, oh yeah, I don't,but, um, what a jerk.
That's fine.
So, yes, so 1920s was when thathouse would have been built,
from 1920 until 1985, that'swhere all the superintendents
lived there are two known deathsinside of the house, both from
(25:12):
superintendents.
One of them was from a naturalcause slash illness and then the
other one was self-inflicted.
After that the house was used, when the health department owned
the building, by ham radioenthusiasts.
That was where they did alltheir ham radio stuff, which is
the reason why you see the bigantenna that's over there.
(25:34):
Um, after that, habitat didn'tdo anything with it, as far as
we have been able to find out,and then it's a personal living
space.
Now let's go to the doctor'soffice and then the morgue.
This can be a hot spot.
Fyi, it just depends on themoods of the spirits.
(25:55):
I actually had that door openon me when I shut it one night,
by yourself.
No, me and my best friend, wewere the only two in the
building.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Okay, yeah Well,
they're gonna mess with us
tonight because there's onlyfour of us.
Oh, this is cool, nice.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
I've never been in
here when it's bright, I know
right.
It's a totally different vibe, like oh yeah, yeah, yeah, this
isn't scary, because you guys, when you guys were here, you
didn't come in until later.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Yeah, it starts at
like 10.
Yeah, yeah, we let people withprivates start anytime after 5
pm, so whenever they want tocome, they can come.
I think I did one of yourguys's times here, didn't I?
Probably?
I think I did at least one, because you guys have been here
like two or three times, right?
Yeah, so I did one of yourguys's I think the other one I
(26:52):
gave what?
I gave to one of my guysbecause I think I was out of
town for one of your guys's,which one?
Speaker 1 (27:00):
But totally different
vibe when it's light out's
definitely less skittering rightnow oh yeah, that's how eloise
does, still, when I would do thetours there when it's light out
it's so much different so thiswas used as the doctor's office
during the time of the poor farmum after that though the health
department actually used thisas a break room, so that's the
(27:22):
reason why the shelves came inand the sink came in is because
this was used as their breakroom.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
There's actually a
doorway behind that sink.
That's in the room next doorand I'll show you guys where
that is.
that would have been the doorwaythat uh, county residents not
the people who lived in thebuilding, but actual lancaster
city and or fairfield countyresidents they would have waited
in that room next door as theirwaiting room, because there's a
(27:47):
door that goes to the outside.
And then the residents whoactually lived in this building
would have waited in that roomnext door to be able to see the
doctor, because he wasn't justthe doctor for the building, he
was the entire county's doctor,really.
Yep, that's a job Right.
So if he had to spend a dayhere inside the building, that's
why they would allow countyresidents to be able to come see
(28:09):
him if they needed to.
Um, apparitions are well knownin this area and out in the
hallway.
That is some of the big hotspot stuff people have happen.
Down here can have also aplethora of shadow play, but the
entire building has a lot ofshadow play, so if you see
something out of the corner ofyour eye you're probably seeing
(28:30):
it.
We've actually watched it fullvision up on the top floors.
A lot of us crew members willjust sit and literally watch
them cross the hallways.
I don't know if you guys saw anyof them when you were here.
I don't think I have.
Yeah, so it can get interestingin here.
Have you seen a hat man shadowhere yet?
(28:50):
No, no, the one shadow thateverybody talks about here is
the seven foot tall shadow.
Yeah, the tall.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
You don't see the hat
on him.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Oh, I hope we get
that.
I hope no.
I have never even heard ofanybody talk about a hat on him.
Do they have any on shadows?
Oh, you're going to have tolook it up.
I got a lot of pictures, usually in hospitals, yeah, not
really here.
I haven't really heard of ithere Now.
Other places I've been to yeah,I've seen shadow figures with
(29:22):
hats on it, louise, for instance.
They get really tall like sevenfeet Yep.
Yep, so we'll head into the oneway.
We're not sure if you guys haveany stories.
Actually, if you even speak ofthe hat man, he usually shows
you Whoops, good job.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Oh, don't act like
you want to be excited.
He went, so that's okay.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
So, right, where that
doorway is Is where the sink is
, is where the sink is, yep.
Oh, there's the door to the Yep, to the outside.
So this one has just been awaiting room.
Now we have it set up as ourlittle kitchen area Because we
know there would have been akitchen down here at one point,
because the property wasoriginally 140 acres.
One point because the propertywas originally 140 acres.
(30:08):
So everything you see around us, from the top of the hill up
there to the tree line that's onthe other side of the dog pound
, that was the property lineboth on this side and that side
of the road.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
Um, you know, there
were other buildings on property
, like kitchen building alaundry building.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
There was the farm
that was actually across the
road.
So there would have been farmbuildings and all that over
there.
But in the later years, as thebuilding started to get torn
down and they started sellingoff property, they brought a lot
of stuff into here.
So the laundry room would havecame in here, the kitchen would
have come in here, so we knowthis floor would have changed to
a lot of that stuff.
(30:41):
We're just not as sure whereexactly down here because they
didn't really have diagrams andthat stuff and planograms for it
.
So but this room the reason whyI'm showing it to you guys if
you see anything on Facebook oron YouTube here recently a lot
of crew members have hadexperience in this room that
(31:02):
they call a monkey figure.
This is why this room has beendeemed like the monkey room.
They said that the figure camedown, looked like it was hanging
like a monkey and then swungacross the way.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
Uh I wonder if
someone had a monkey here I
don't know, because I don't know.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
We've had like dog
barking and stuff, but we also
had a dog pound just two plotsover from us.
We don't know if any dogs havedied over there.
Speaker 4 (31:29):
It's really, it's
really hard, people have had dog
barking on spirit boxes.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
People have heard
dogs barking, which with it
being right there.
Sometimes you can hear theminside the building a lot of the
time you cannot hear those dogs.
There's a piece right here.
It's a window that shows theoriginal 1828 piece of the
building, so you guys are ableto see that right there.
It's been a while since I'veactually mentioned that.
(31:56):
I think I just had a great partof the got better there like I
said, I've been doing these forfive years.
Speaker 5 (32:06):
There's so much that.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
I used to tell people
on the tours and there's so
much more stuff.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
We found out recently
that he's trying to make sure I
(32:36):
fit it all in.
Of course, I'm always the lastone up because I got to get my
pictures.
Do you have so many people tellus that you're going to get a
hand out of me?
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Okay, because of the
long hauls and twisted hauls, I
got to sit for a minute.
We also have people say that itreminds them of the Winchester
Mystery House, because thestairs.
They go to nowhere.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
Oh, you have stairs
that go to nowhere.
Yep, that reminds me of StimsonHospital.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
We were so tripped
out when we stayed there.
So the only reason why it waslike that is because these steps
used to wrap originally all theway around.
When the health department camein here in 86, they had to
close them off as a fire.
Oh yeah, because they neededthese big metal doors to block
it off in case there was a firein the stairwell Somewhere
lighted.
There's no window in that dayroom because they turned that
into a residence room.
So and I'll show you guys, themen's one when we go upstairs,
(33:30):
because that one's the easierone to tell they also were not
allowed to curse.
They were not allowed to leavethe institution without
permission.
They had to be cleanly, they hadto do a job whether it be
taking care of the farm ortaking care of a person who
physically could not take careof themselves or any other side
(33:51):
ends and jobs that thesuperintendent and the matron of
the house, which was thesuperintendent's wife, needed
you to do.
If you didn't do any of thosethings, that's when you would
get put in the jail cells or thedungeons.
Now, the jail cell would holdpeople for up to 24 hours.
After that 24 hour period, ifyou still didn't want to listen
to the rules or you gotphysically violent with a staff
(34:14):
member or other resident, that'swhen they would put you in the
dungeon.
During the time frame of thepoor farm, though, they were not
called residents, they wereactually called inmates.
I don't like that word.
I'm a past corrections officerand I feel like the spirits of
this building are not likeinmates to me.
So I always called it residents, because in the later years,
(34:37):
the 50s and 60s that's when theyturned to residents, and then
in the 70s and 80s, they calledthem patients, because a lot of
the residents were oldergeneration that had lived here
their entire lives.
Okay, so I like to staymainframe with residents,
because they lived here.
This was their home, they werea resident of this place.
Quick question.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
So the like mentally
ill and violent, all of them
were staggered together.
They didn't have separatequarters.
Yep, okay violent.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
All of them were
staggered together.
They didn't have separatequarters.
Yep, okay.
The only time that there wouldhave been any type of separation
of those residents was whenpeople who didn't have
day-to-day activity inside thebuilding county commissioners,
mayors, anything like that theywould come in and if you were
physically violent due to yourmental health, they would lock
you up out of sight, out of mind, upstairs in the very top,
(35:26):
which I'll show you, guys, where.
That was as well, okay, butthat's the only time that they
actually would separate them, other than that they were always
around each other, constantlyokay, that's a lot different
than we're any other place we'vebeen to yep, I like that.
We've had multiple deaths herein the building, not just from
illnesses, but we've had peoplewho have caught on fire.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
We have people who
have seen that yeah, jane
householder, I'll talk about herhere shortly um we've had
people who've caught on fire.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
We have had people
get their throats slit.
We have had people jump off theroof as well, so there's
multiple reasons that they wouldhave died here now.
Jane householder.
What happened with jane was shehad been sick.
She told the nurses that shewanted to go to the day room to
get out of her room, because sheneeded to get out of her room
for a little bit.
(36:15):
They told her no, she did itanyway.
She went to one of the dayrooms.
We're not entirely sure whichone it was.
It could have been on thisfloor, could have been on the
third floor.
Speaker 4 (36:24):
But she went into the
day room.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
She was messing with
the fire and it kicked back onto
her dress accidentally Back in1927, your dresses were
completely made of wool, so sheengulfed into flames.
She ran into an adjacent room, which there are four rooms that
are adjacent by our terms ofadjacent, where there's the door
that takes you into each room.
So it could have been these tworooms or the two rooms upstairs
(36:49):
, but back in those days wecould have been adjacent across
the hallway too.
So that's why we say we're notsure which of the three day
rooms down here or the threeupstairs.
It was um, but she ran into theadjacent room and she fell down
to the ground and they put herout after.
They heard her screaming, butthey could not tell that she
even had the dress on anymoreand her body was completely
(37:11):
charred.
Took her nine hours, though, before she died here inside of
the building.
Oh God, her birthday justpassed in, or no?
Her birthday is coming up.
Her birthday is in three weeks.
It's June 2nd.
Her death date just passed.
Passed, though, that was March.
(37:45):
I'm going to go to the bathroom.
These freezers they were inBonnie's room Lays, both of them
(38:06):
, yeah.
So we found paperwork statingnot only did they hold bodies
inside these floors, they alsoheld food at one of their
head-to-mind side floors.
We know that one side would havebeen used for the kids' bodies.
The other side would have beenfor adults.
(38:28):
It wouldn't have held them forvery long, especially if they
were burying them in the paupercemetery out back.
But in the winter months, whenthey couldn't bury people out
back, then that's when theywould keep them in here for a
longer time because they didn'thave the equipment that we have
today to be able to do it.
We also know that people whodid die here, but they weren't
buried in our cemetery.
(38:48):
They would be kept in here for24 to 48 hours before families
would have gotten them.
So it would have been longperiods of time.
Bodies would have been cleanedof these basins that I'm sitting
on.
So these are the only thingsstill original to the building.
Since I said, everything wasn'toriginal, this is the only
original thing left besides thebind floors and this.
Yeah, so they were clean thebody's in here.
(39:13):
We also found paperwork statingthat food was clean in these at
one point in time as well, thisis nice, yep.
The spring that you guys canhear runs directly through the
bottom of the building down tothe creek that's behind the
university, across the street, and we found an article from
1926 that stated that there wasa formaldehyde poisoning that
(39:38):
not only happened inside of thecreek but happened in the entire
city due to the runoff goingdown into that creek.
Oh, I don't know how theydidn't find it prior to 1926.
That's crazy.
My guess is that the watertreatment plant was built in
1926.
(39:58):
So I'm guessing that that'sprobably why they didn't really
know.
I didn't that.
That's probably why they didn'treally know.
Um, but they found that out, they had them relay the piping
so it wouldn't divert into, likethis portion wouldn't divert
(40:18):
into the screen window righthere.
Speaker 1 (40:21):
So they just replaced
me with a new one.
All right, you guys, I have tointerrupt right here.
Besides the background noisethat you're hearing, and you're
hearing me snap pictures, so Iapologize, but anyways, she's
talking about in the 1920s,where the pipes were
contaminated and then the waterran off and contaminated even
(40:42):
more running water and peopleand blah, blah.
Okay, so that comes to mytheory that horror movies are
all made from somewhere, right?
Just like folklores, like theycome from someplace, right.
And I have to.
I have to add this, that thisreminds me of the movie Cabin
Fever in 2002.
(41:02):
All right, so if you guysremember this movie, it's
basically about a group ofcollege friends that rent a
cabin in the woods and, unknowingly, they had no idea
that the water was contaminated.
And when a man shows up with aflesh eating disease and he dies
and then his body falls intothe water reservoir and then
(41:26):
they all end up gettingcontaminated, it's like a
psychological horror, fucked upmovie, but that's all I can
think about.
When she was talking aboutthese nasty pipes and how it
contaminated all the water.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
What the hell?
That's cool.
I didn't even know about thefour years ago.
It won't let me down.
You can see the inside About3,000.
Oh no, she doesn't make thattype.
(42:04):
There's an estimated 1,200 inthe actual registered cemetery
and in 2018, they tookground-penetrating radar out in
the back hill that's not markedas a registered cemetery and
actually found 1,600 otheranomalies.
So there's jumping bodies backthere.
1,600?
Yes, the actual estimatedregistered cemetery has about
1,200.
But they found another 1,600?
(42:25):
.
The actual estimated registeredcemetery has about 1,200, but
they found another 1,600 outsideof the cemetery.
Oh my god.
So essentially, what happenedwas and we're the only place I
know of in the United States andprobably the world, but I know
for sure the United Statesinstead of burying them in mass
graves, like these placesusually did, they actually
buried them standing straight upin their own holes.
Speaker 1 (42:45):
Oh my God, yeah, I've
never heard that before Safe
space.
Speaker 5 (42:49):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
Yep.
So instead of burying them inmass graves or cremating them,
they just dug holes six feetdown and just dropped them into
the holes.
That's the generator.
Speaker 4 (42:58):
Oh yeah, I was like,
did I?
Speaker 5 (43:00):
do that.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
That's so cool.
No, that is the watersuppressant system generator.
It's just making sure the wateris pushing through.
I'm going to go try to get onemore picture, if that goes off
at all tonight.
It usually lasts about 30seconds.
That's not what's up.
Yeah, that's so weird.
That is the only place that Iknow of, I know for sure in the
(43:22):
United States.
But the world I've come toreach is in no real.
It's definitely advancedfurther than I know, and I mean
we had a mass amount of peopledie from tuberculosis, which
back in those days they actuallycalled it consumption before
they called it tuberculosis.
We had a mass amount of peopledie from the fever that I saw.
(43:46):
I saw a couple of people thatsaid natural illness.
So I don't know if that was anepidemic or it was a natural
illness.
We had people who were broughthere for being insane and they
listed their death as insane.
So literally there are Right.
(44:06):
There's literally a mass amountof reasons why people die and
or were brought here.
But all of the headstonesoutside there are only six Out
of every person that's buried inthat actual cemetery.
There are only six headstones.
Back in the day, their familiesactually had to pay for their
(44:29):
headstones if their familiesdidn't pay for their headstones
or they didn't have any family.
They were buried with just amarker and we haven't been able
to find those markers.
We think that maybe erosionover time, not cared for
properly, or it could have justbeen a wooden marker that just
went away, so, um, all right.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
So I figured that was
like the main points of the
tour.
Now we're gonna get into liverecordings.
You know some experiments thatwe did throughout the night with
lisa and her team, um, Ibelieve, the mystic haunts.
All right, so her group iscalled the mystic haunts and I
knew it was mystic something, but there's a lot of groups with
mystic in it, so I wanted tomake sure I was saying it the
(45:10):
right way.
So you're going to hear her, kind of like, introduce herself,
and then she has us allintroduce each other, you know
ourselves to each other, blah, blah, and then we get right into
it.
So here we go.
Speaker 3 (45:48):
They double booked us
.
Like myself, I had a partnerget right into it.
So here we go, are um?
So these guys just end upwalking up to the door and I'm
like hello, they're like what'sgoing on, ladies?
And I'm like, oh, who are youguys?
And I was like oh, and then, um, I don't know, they were like
we booked and we booked, and sothey got booked to stop right
and then this one right here hewas extremely exhausted because
they had done three days in arow, right?
No, three in like 30 hours.
(46:09):
Wow, wow, yeah, and he just hadlike a baby too.
It was like my first time out, yeah, so I totally forgot about
that.
So we had a lot of stuff happenin just the last hours that we
I thought somebody was likepounding on the floor.
I have it on video.
We were doing the humanpendulum with him.
We were doing some really crazyshit down there and it sounded
(46:30):
like somebody was like stompingupstairs.
Which he was up there.
Speaker 4 (46:33):
I keep running up
with my.
I had you on video.
I was like you guys werefucking with us, right?
Speaker 3 (46:37):
He's like no, we
weren't doing anything.
I was like fuck off.
Speaker 5 (46:50):
You don't like it
because you're tired.
He's like no, really I didn'tdo anything.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
So we kind of really
did.
And then one of theirinvestigate one of their friends
.
Yeah, it's six, you now onlyhave four.
Yeah, one one of them.
This was really bad.
Speaker 4 (46:57):
It was because it was
bringing up some past trauma
that we all knew about in thislife that you obviously did not
what you were asking and whatwas coming through obviously the
reason I was cancellingheadphones.
There was no way you could hearus.
Speaker 2 (47:12):
It lined up with some
dark.
Speaker 4 (47:14):
That's really crazy.
Hold on the very first timethat I met you as well, I was
under estus in the morgue andit's the first time ever that.
Speaker 3 (47:23):
I think that I've
ever had like a spirit guy,
because they's the first timeever that I think that I've ever
had like a spirit guide becausethey were talking about a baby
that I lost and nobody that wasthere and it's never happened
again.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
It's her, it's her.
Speaker 4 (47:33):
She brings out the he
quit.
After that I did, I joined her.
Speaker 5 (47:38):
He quit.
He quit, I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (47:42):
He quit up until two
months ago the room bought the
he quit, he quit.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
I'm sorry he quit up
until two months ago, the Roomba
died and I couldn't be back inthe unit today.
Dang, have you guys been toStimson Hospital yet?
You have.
Do you have some crazyexperiences there too?
Yeah, I posted a picture.
So we were just kind of standingaround and you know,
bullshitting about ourexperiences.
But if you notice, the one guysaid that their other friend
quit doing this because thereare some personal things that
(48:06):
can happen, or there's usuallyone thing that scares the shit
out of you.
So I was like talking to themabout Simpson, because it was
kind of in relation to what shewas saying.
Holly, one of the women on theteam, and then like Carissa had
that experience at MadisonSeminary.
So I just it's really cool, like when you meet people doing
(48:26):
this that you've never talked tobefore, that everyone's had
that like one experience.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
Do you, holly, can go
behind him?
Oh, we're facing this way, yeah, okay, so here goes his job.
Speaker 3 (48:39):
You guys can kind of
like stand over here he cannot
hear me right now and kind ofjust watch that the green light
will gonna sway.
He's gonna do some things okay,so I want you to pay attention.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
You guys are gonna
help me and holly, despite for
what we're doing.
So all right ready all right.
So she's, um, so Lisa, the headof their group.
She basically told us that theyknow how to do this human
(49:11):
pendulum thing, and that is whatshe is doing right now with one
of the guys that are on thetour.
So I'm not sure if I mentionedthat on this episode, but I know
the last episode we weretalking about human pendulums,
carissa and I.
But yeah, so that's what youguys are listening to right now,
just to kind of recap.
All right, let's get back to it.
Speaker 2 (49:37):
I'm going to stand on
this side so that you can see
the shadow.
I'm just going to do this way.
Okay, all right, ready.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
All right, friends,
you know the deal.
I have a friend standing righthere, all right, ready.
All right, friends, you knowthe deal.
I have a friend standing righthere, not yet.
Can you do me a favor andgently push my friend into your?
Yes, okay, okay, gently, beeasy, can you please do your no?
(50:10):
Which way is a no?
Thank you, okay, okay, okay.
Are you guys excited to havenew friends here tonight?
You guys have someone to choosefrom.
Yeah, yeah, so that's a yes andthat's a no.
Okay, okay, I haven't asked thequestion yet.
(50:32):
And that's the question.
Do you remember us being heretwo weeks ago?
Is that a yes?
Speaker 4 (50:44):
Yes, I got it both
ways.
Yeah, you guys asked the ways.
Yeah, you guys have questions.
Maybe, if you do remember usbeing here two weeks ago, did
you interact with us up hereduring the same game with
different people?
No, yes, yes, yeah, okay, well, thank you for playing again.
(51:07):
Is there more than one of youright now?
Are you the one that keepsplaying with the catwalk and the
candle?
No, yeah, are you mad becausewe didn't bring you pizza,
(51:43):
because we promised next time wecame we'd bring pizza?
Nope, okay, well, good, becauseI forgot here's cupcakes.
Speaker 1 (51:59):
How many living
people are with us right now?
Oh, is there any living peoplewith us right now?
Speaker 4 (52:17):
So my living people.
Can I just ask you a question?
You mean like us, yeah, okay, okay, I just want to piggyback
your question I just want topiggyback your question on yours
then.
So there are some people outhere, so does that mean you
physically can't see us Hang on?
Of course Are you a child.
Speaker 1 (52:44):
No, I just asked if
there was children up here.
Oh yeah, and he said yeah.
So if you're just sitting down, just sit down, Okay.
I was just going to say do youlike having visitors up here?
Yes, Are you friendly?
Speaker 4 (53:12):
Yes, I am.
Are you friendly?
I'm serious.
How'd it feel?
Good I was enjoying the music Idon't put on for people.
No, it was good, I was jammed,I was trying not to dance.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
I didn't try.
We got pretty great dancers.
They didn't try to.
We got pretty great answers.
They didn't remember you.
It was a child.
They are stuck up here, whatelse?
Speaker 4 (53:39):
They are not mad that
we didn't bring the pizza.
I like visitors.
Speaker 1 (53:45):
What about the living
?
That they say when I asked howmany living people are up here
or no.
Is there living people up here?
Speaker 4 (53:54):
and it said, which
made me ask maybe they can't see
us, they can just hear us Ihave that.
Speaker 1 (53:59):
I just like new
theory, that's like my.
Speaker 4 (54:01):
That's why I always
ask that but I want to say, when
we came up here with you, thatlast time too we asked that too.
Speaker 3 (54:05):
When you hear us, I
mean you see us.
I mean it's not new, it's justhow I feel.
Oh yeah, it's what I need more.
Speaker 4 (54:12):
They said the same
thing, though that they couldn't
see us remember.
It was funny.
The first song was residual, yeah, so I was like I don't get
it, I get.
Speaker 3 (54:23):
So I put this on for
like Addie last time because she
loves Chris Brown and I justpicked that, of course.
Speaker 4 (54:30):
I picked that one.
I got it in the blue right.
And I was like okay, that's agood one.
Speaker 3 (54:38):
Can you turn that
candle back on if you'd like to
play again?
Or the cat ball?
Yeah, the cat ball.
There's so many toys down there.
We got kids in here.
You guys have lots of things toplay with I forgot to do
something.
Speaker 4 (54:56):
Oh, thank you, Thank
you, okay, we'll play again,
Don't love when you're canceled.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
You know I took a
minute to do this and I forgot,
Sorry.
We're pretty excited.
What we're going to do, I wouldlike to do, is every place,
even here.
We're going to just go aroundthe room and introduce ourselves
.
Speaker 4 (55:14):
We can say our name.
Speaker 3 (55:15):
You can say whatever
you want to, but just make sure
that you say your name, becauseit's going to kind of the next
thing that we're going to do isgoing to kind of let them know
who we are.
But I always like to say we'rewalking into somebody's house
and somebody walks into yourhouse and.
I'm just like oh, hey, hi.
And they're like who are you?
So we're here.
Even though we're here a lotyou know what I mean, and these
guys have been here we stilllike to introduce ourselves,
(55:37):

to be quiet too.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
I think it's still open.
Speaker 3 (01:27:39):
I see them right
there.
Okay, crazy, crazy, hell yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
Because like, what
would they do if like there?
Speaker 2 (01:27:57):
was like a couple
guys.
Are you going to pull in here?
Yeah, because like, what wouldthey do if, like, there was like
a couple guys?
Speaker 1 (01:28:06):

in here?
Yeah, back in you, ready to doit?
All right, you're going to tellme how to do it then?
Okay, I'll do it, you sure?
Yeah, here, take my phone, here's everything.
Okay, I feel really tall inthis seat.
(01:28:44):
Yeah, no shit.
So what are we going to do?
We're going to turn it away.
I'm working this back righthere.
Look at you, easy peasy.
Well, that's just because I amwe're crazy, we're fucking nuts
(01:29:09):
together.
Yeah, I don't like that.
They're by themselves.
I know, because there's morepower, there's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
(01:29:40):
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
There's more power.
Together, we had to tackle somemotherfucker.
Yeah, we would.
You know, you put your foot ontheir neck when you get them
down On the throat or the neck, yeah, How's Dino?
(01:30:10):
put on their neck when you getthem down on the throat or the
neck.
Yeah, I hope that it came outin the recording as it was.
It was good for us to hear.
We'll hear it.
Yeah, here's your phone back.
It's okay, just put up on thereup on there.
Is that window kind of?
It is a little bit, isn't it?
Speaker 2 (01:30:35):
It would be so fucked
up.
I don't hear them either.
We don't have their numbers.
No Fuck, there's a light on inthere.
Speaker 5 (01:30:48):
Oh hi, oh, it went
off.
Wait a second, they're there, they just went out.
Speaker 1 (01:31:08):
Okay, yeah, looks
like they're walking fast.
Okay, so we see the girls up onthe third floor.
Is that second?
Oh, that's the third.
Speaker 5 (01:31:30):
Okay, now they're not
here.
Now they're back where we were.
I'm just trying to get theevidence Suckers, suckers.
Speaker 1 (01:32:01):
No, because that was
like boots.
It sounded like boots, okay.
Okay, we're out here stakingout making sure no one I'm sorry
(01:32:30):
, I'm sorry, we just wanted tomake sure you weren't the
intruder.
Speaker 5 (01:32:53):
The lights are off in
the attic but not on that floor
.
Speaker 1 (01:33:09):
Yeah, I know, we may
know these things.
It's kind of funny to astakeout.
I could do this for a living.
Yeah, I could see you for aliving.
Yeah, be a detective, I couldsee you doing that.
Oh God, yeah, tell me, Iwouldn't be so good at it.
Oh, you would be, I'd be likeI'm to the front, sally.
(01:33:32):
Oh, he got on his bike.
Oh, wait, no, oh, that's weird,mm-hmm.
When they all just gotslaughtered all right, you guys,
(01:33:56):
so I didn't get the recordingLisa and them coming back down
and outside to talk to us.
So nobody ended up gettingslaughtered, everybody was still
alive.
They did not find anybody inthe building living.
They pretty much went up anddown, up and down, up and down,
kept going up through the atticwhere we were hearing the
(01:34:18):
footsteps, up and down, up anddown, kept going up through the
attic where we were hearing thefootsteps.
So either somebody that'sliving was hiding very well, or
it was the spirit, and we stillhaven't figured that out yet.
I think Carissa's phone pickedup on the walking a little bit.
So that is all of the fun partsof Chicago and Ohio and, like I
(01:34:45):
said, it was a really crazy endof the night.
It got pretty scary for aminute and I don't know if you
guys heard, but I did pick up asnow globe from the table and I
was really ready to use it.
I'm the type of chick like ifI'm in a situation like that and
I think that there is apredator around, I'm picking up
(01:35:05):
something to throw at you or hityou with.
So again, we don't know if itwas living or spirit, but I'm
hoping it wasn't living.
But you guys, if you have notchecked out that place a
fear-filled county poorhouse youhave to.
And, like I said, the cemeteryis on the grounds and also the
(01:35:27):
school buses on the grounds wereused in one of the seasons for
American Horror Story.
All right, you guys.
Thanks for tuning in and we'llbe talking soon.
