In this episode of "Streaming Without A Paddle", Andrew and Ted sit down to discuss the newly released Netflix original comedy "Kinda Pregnant", starring Amy Schumer, Brianne Howey, Will Forte, and Jillian Bell. Lainy (Schumer) and Kate (Bell) grew up as best friends. A friendship that lasted long into their adulthood. One day a whirl wind of events happens in each of their lives, Lainy thinks her boyfriend is going to propose marriage, when in fact he proposes a three way which leads to their breaking up. Kate on the other hand is already married and finds out she is pregnant. Both meet for lunch one day to share their news. Kate's news of her expecting, coupled with her recent relationship set back, sends Lainy into a tailspin as she always thought the two besties would be pregnant at the same time or at the least she would be first. While helping Kate shop for maternity clothes, Lainy discovers a fake belly bump at the store and puts it on. She loves the way it makes her feel so she steals it and goes around leading people to believe she is pregnant. During a yoga class for pregnant women Lainy befriends Megan (Howey) and they, because Kate can't find out Lainy is pretending to be pregnant, become "expecting best friends". That is until the gig is up and Lainy is forced, through circumstances, to reveal she is in fact not pregnant and has been pretending.
