Bengals running back Joe Mixon still has a critical role on the Bengals' offense.
Mixon, entering his seventh season with the team, is still on track to start once more behind quarterback Joe Burrow. His rushing numbers last season didn't match his 2021 Pro Bowl season despite setting career highs in the receiving game.
Although Mixon is No. 17 on the Top 25 Bengals entering this season, he's aging as he'll be 27 at the start of training camp. Rookie Chase Brown and veteran backup Trayveon Williams might both be staring him down for more snaps this season too.
