This episode is a big one.

It was an absolute honor to have this guest on.

My father…Don Qually.

My dad has been a grain farmer all his life.

He’s seen some good years, some bad years, and terrible years.

But no matter what he kept pushing through.

My dad is by far one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever met. Sun up to sun down.

And no one has shown me a better example of what it means to chase your passion, regardless of how difficult it is, more than my dad.

This was an incredible experience to get to know my dad better and to appreciate everything he’s been through and what kept him moving forward.

In this episode we discuss:

  • What it was like growing up on the farm
  • How he started farming
  • The changes he has seen in farming over the years
  • How he battles mentally through the bad years
  • How much he loves to farm
  • What does the future of farming look like with AI
  • Is mono-crop agriculture really bad for farming?

I wanted the 100th episode to be special, and I am more than certain this one lived up to that hope.

It was an absolute pleasure to get to know my father a bit better.

If you want to learn and understand a farmer's hard-working mindset…this is the episode for you.
