(00:32):
Foreign.
Welcome to another episode of Stuck in My Mind podcast. I am your host,
W I Z E. And today I'm thrilled to welcome a guest whose
soul work is changing lives. Cheryl Stout is
(00:54):
not just a spiritual coach, she is a visionary healer, author, and empower
empowerment expertise. I'm so excited to have her on the show.
Hello. Hello. Happy to be
here.
(01:15):
You broke up a little. I'm here.
No, I hate. I hear you now. I hear you now. But it's like you
froze up for a second. But it's fine. It happens. Yeah, I saw that.
It's. I don't know if my connection is.
It's. It's good. It happens. That's.
That's the process of when you go live, when you record, these things
(01:38):
happen. Yeah. Okay, so
you, you've said meditation changed your life. What happened the day
your brother's spirit visit you visited you.
Oh, that was, that was amazing. I mean,
I was, you know, I was pretty young back then, and my friend
was on the beach with me, and we're waiting for the tide to
(02:01):
go out in Western Canada so we could, we could pick
oysters. And we knew it was going to be a while, so
she said, hey, how would you like it if I
practice kinesiology on you? And she had this method
that she was using. And so I'm laying on the beach
and she kept clearing things and doing this muscle testing on
(02:23):
herself. And I'm just laying there. And she would say, it's. You're this
person. It's this relative. It's that person. And she would
do all this stuff. And then as I'm laying there, this
ball like the size of a basketball of white light
was right above me. And it was filled with the most
intense love I have ever felt. And
(02:46):
I suddenly knew it was my brother. Now, I had never meditated.
I was raised Catholic. I hadn't gone to church in years.
And I was blown away. And I, you know,
tears were streaming down my face because of
the amount of love. And she's going on and on
and talking, and then she says, all of a sudden, she said, it's your
(03:09):
brother. And she goes, oh, my God, he's here.
And I don't think she even knew I had a deceased brother. It
was. It was really wild. And he had taken
his life and his message to me that
day through. She channeled him,
which she had never channeled a spirit before, but he was
(03:32):
able to speak to me through her. And his message was
to start meditating, you know, There was.
It was, you know, sort of long and drawn out and. Yeah, so I was.
I was like, wow. So when I got back to the city after that
weekend, so funny, I started calling
up these meditation places, knowing nothing about it. You
(03:55):
know, 31 years ago, meditation wasn't a common word.
So I'm phoning these places in a very alternative city,
and they would say, why do you want to learn to meditate? And I said,
so I could speak with my deceased brother. And they all said, oh, sorry, we
don't have that kind here. But what happened was I
was able to. By the end of the weekend, it was like I could
(04:17):
hear him and sense where he was. He stuck. Stuck around
for the weekend. Anyway, so then I was in a
building the next day and I saw this sign on the
door that said, meditation classes starting the following night. It
was a Wednesday night, and so I thought, okay, I'm going to go, I'm going
to sign up, but I'm not saying anything about my deceased brother. And I went
(04:40):
and it got me meditating. And I
started incorporating early on a breathing practice I had used
since I was a kid to sort of calm myself and that sort of
thing. I figured it out when I was living in Edmonton,
Alberta, Canada, in the cold that if I breathe with long
breaths through my nose, I wouldn't shiver, my body would.
(05:02):
Would calm down anyway. And I started healing myself.
Wow. What. What was, what was your
darkest moment during your battle with depression? And how did spiritual
practice guide you through it?
Well, I. I think I was depressed for a lot of years.
(05:25):
A lot of years. And my.
My darkest moments were when I almost took my. My own
life a couple times. And
both times I just thought about my kids
and, and thought, oh, God, no, no, they absolutely
need me. And so what happened?
(05:48):
Through the meditation, I started to discover
all the emotions that were stuck inside
me. And, you know, emotional trauma,
we consider emotional neglect.
Now, we consider it emotional trauma because it's not one incident,
it's what goes on. But back in my world growing up,
(06:11):
I didn't have any friends that talked about their emotions with their parents who really
had an emotional resource. So I think in many ways, you know, older
people, we're all. We all experienced emotional neglect.
But what started coming up was the pain of the past. And I was able
to release it so that it would never come back again in the same
way is what started to happen. And so I did
(06:33):
not stop meditating. You know, I still meditate
today. And I was. I had been on anti.
Antidepressants for a short while. That was a new thing at
that time. And I went off them, and my doctor was very
concerned, very concerned. He said, cheryl, you really need to be on
these the rest of your life. Think of it as like blood pressure
(06:55):
medication. Well, we know you don't have to be on blood pressure
medication the rest of your life either. But back in those days.
And so I just decided I would rather meditate
than take medication. So I just always said, medit meditation is
my medication. Can,
can you. Can you explain the origin and purpose of
(07:18):
your Azaria's energy healing modality?
Yes. Well, the origin is multifaceted,
so its basis is this type of meditation that
I started doing early on. And then I. I belonged
to a spiritual school, a Sufi school for a number of years and
became a senior teacher. And they also. What
(07:40):
I loved about the school was they used the full breath as well.
And, and. But they had all the science around how
that affects your subconscious, how you can heal with that.
So I. I studied shamanism for a
number of years and learned different modalities,
shamanic practices to help people heal. I went to India
(08:03):
and I got my Reiki master
certification. I have a diploma in
Jinchen do acupressure. And so that was a very
powerful he. Healing modality that I used. And then
there was another. Through the Sufi school, I learned another type of
healing called hercalia healing. And,
(08:25):
you know, just learning from other practitioners. I've done
trades in the past and that sort of thing. And so
there came a time I had so many of my clients
asking me, when are you going to teach what you do? When are you going
to teach what you do? And I was just sort of,
I don't know. And then finally this one
(08:47):
client of mine knew she was an energy healer. She just said, I know I'm
an energy healer. I don't know what kind of training to take. I know I
need to take something. I don't know what to do. She said, why don't you.
Why won't you teach what you do? I want to learn what you do.
And that was it. And I have goosebumps right now saying that, because I remember
that with Stacy, and, and I said, okay, I'm going to do it.
(09:10):
I'm going to. I'm going to put it all together. I know what I
do, so I should be able to teach it because I know it firsthand.
And it was just so rewarding to teach that
and get others that certification that they can do
this deep healing. And it is deep. I have
so many people that I work with
(09:33):
and especially older women who have tried everything and they all
say to me, nobody goes as deep as you do. I have, I have, I'm
working with a healer right now and helping her heal. And she has
multiple certifications. She said, I've never experienced anything like
this. So it's deep. If you're not ready for deep, don't call me. If you're
ready for deep, I'm your person.
(09:56):
What, what exactly is heart centered shamanism and how does it
differ from traditional shamanic practices?
Oh, one major difference in
shamanic practices, traditional.
You leave your body, you leave your body to do the work you do A
lot of journeying. There's the lower world, the middle world and the upper
(10:18):
world. You can go inside as a
spirit, you can go inside someone else's body and look around and see
what's happening. So everything is focused around, especially
all the, the basics around leaving your body where
heart centered shamanism is going inward,
going into your body, into your heart.
(10:41):
Because the heart, the heart is the seed of the soul.
It's our temple, it's who we are, it's our
godness, it's our divinity. And so
everything's in there. We don't have to leave the body. And
leaving the body can be dangerous. We can, we can pick up
other things. I'll tell you a brief story.
(11:03):
I, you know, I do a lot of chakra readings for people so I can
see in their chakras where the energy is holding
them back, what their blocks are and where they're shining brightly, what
their, what their superpowers are. And I love to do that.
And I spoke on a summit once
and it was, there were a lot of shamanic people there. The head
(11:26):
of the summit was a shamanic practitioner too. There were
two heads of it. And I
spoke there and I also, I
co hosted, so I did a lot of interviews because they knew I had practiced
shamanism and I did a lot of shocker readings on
the people from that. And, and I never
(11:47):
experienced so many people with
dark energy attached to them. Now the rest of us, like
normally when I do chakra readings, I don't see
people with energy stuck on them or that sort of thing
because our wounds are inside us and
it's up to us to heal them. I can tell people what it is and
(12:09):
assist them, but it's all our wounds. Help us step into
our own empowerment, you know, so even as a healer, I
think of my, myself as an assistant. I'm there to help
and guide but you have to do the work, you know,
you, and I'm assisting you. I'm holding your hand the whole way where all this
other energy and I thought this is from people leaving their bodies.
(12:32):
They pick up this dark just. And I can clear
that stuff very easily. Yeah, they sound really strange.
I'm, I'm surprised you asked me that. I haven't written anything for a
very long time about heart centered shamanism.
Listen, I sort of as. So I do I get
(12:52):
bb. I just, I don't know. I just. These are things, these are things I
just, I find them kind of.
I just want, just questions. I just like asking. I don't, I can't explain
it. I'm honored. I'm honored Will.
So, so how did your time
(13:13):
with the, the Messiah and Sure tribes influence
your current spiritual and healing work? Oh my
goodness. Thank you. Oh, living with
the Maasai, you know it's, it's funny you ask that.
I was thinking about this the other day. I was thinking about the Maasai
and people sort of overall in Africa, not so much South Africa
(13:36):
but you know, where there's more of still primitive
tribes and even just the people is
what I discovered. There's a real lack of love. You know the chief
said to me I, I lived with a messiah and he said my people don't
know love. We don't know what this is. They have no
sense of it and that's why they can do the things they
(13:58):
do to their own people. So in the, with
the Maasai they practice polygamy
so they can have multiple wives and they
send the young guys, the kids, 12 and 13 year old boys
out on to the savannah to live with nothing. And those boys
have to fight lions with their bare hands and everything. And they eat roots.
(14:20):
That's how they get their water. Like it's really rough. But
they send them out because they want to have all the young women
so they keep buying more girls and I mean girls 12 or
13, they're, they're circumcised and
that's it. Then they're, they're available to be sold.
(14:41):
They get a dowry and that sort of thing, but they don't
know love. And then when the old man dies and he's got four or
six wives, the youngest one and her children
then get kicked out of the tribe to live on the savannah
or basically die or go wherever.
And so I met this, I met this chief
(15:04):
who would take in these women.
So he was trying to Run a sort of a, you know,
a shelter on the Savannah for these single mothers
so that they would get fed. And he was doing what he could
to raise money to feed them. And. And
so I. I, you know, got to know the
(15:27):
people and the, you know, and the women and the men, and they. They really
don't know love. And so love, we all know,
we. We love is what the whole world is made of. That's what
God is. It's love and light. And so they don't have
abundance. They don't have the wealth because they
don't have the love. There's. There's so much missing. So much
(15:49):
missing. And so, you know, I did a lot of things there.
It was rough. It was very. I lived in a hut. You know, I
stayed with them. I ate ugali and skuma wiki and
all the stuff, sang their songs with them, and that's what they have to keep
them alive are to me, are their songs. And they're stomping on the
earth and their songs, and they go into ecstasy when they. When
(16:12):
they sing. It's really. And so to witness
that was something else. To see these people
forever on the border of not
making it, you know, in sickness. And they cook in their huts
with. They have. Build the fire, so they all have emphysema.
And. But I. I really learned
(16:35):
that love is what we're all made of. And it's. It's
one thing. Greg Braden did an interview a while ago, and
he said it's the one thing that we. That we cannot reproduce
with technology. We can do all this AI and we can make
lamb wombs and other. These artificial human wombs, but we cannot
duplicate love or that connection, the connection to
(16:58):
all and the connection to each other. And. And it's.
It's the number one thing. And when we lose that, we
can't have that vitality that we all need.
Definitely. What. What is. What
is. What does it truly mean to be a client magnet from. From
an energetic perspective? A client
(17:22):
magnet from an energetic perspective is that you are
really radiating all that you truly are
to feel at your core that you're
part of Source and that And.
And really feeling into your purpose, your
soul's purpose, and the truth of your being. So when you're
(17:43):
really in alignment with the truth of your being and why you're here,
and you. You tune into that, you can consciously
radiate that out. And so becoming a client magnet
is first removing, releasing the
blocks that are getting in the way of that. And
it's it's amazing what happens when you do that and you really step into who
(18:06):
you truly are. And we are all meant to step
into who we truly are and radiate what that is. And it could
just be for the time in your life, it could just be that
you need to listen to great music or play music and send that out
to the world, and it has equal value to what anybody's
doing. It doesn't matter what it is. But to radiate all that you
(18:29):
truly are and really be in that higher vibration
and people will find you.
You help people heal. Throat chakra blockage.
What are some signs someone has this blockage?
Some of the signs of a throat chakra blockage is that they
(18:52):
don't feel seen and heard. They can speak all they want, but they really
don't feel understood. They might really have a hard time
expressing themselves and expressing who they truly
are. So the highest level of the throat chakra is expressing
why you're here, why your soul is here. So if you're. If you're
blocked in any way, you have a hard time speaking your truth
(19:15):
or the right words. You don't even comments like you know what you want
to say, but you're tripping on your words, or you're just not getting it right,
or the other person just doesn't seem to get what you're
saying, or you, you get out there and
you want to, you know, even on social media,
you want to do a video and you just don't feel heard, you're not getting
(19:37):
it right, then you know you have some blockages.
Oh, you just. Yep, there we go.
There we go. All right. Many people say they feel
called to heal. How can. How can they know if that's
(19:58):
truly their path? How can they know
is to really tune into it. You know what? A lot of people
that have done my Azarius Energy healing program, when
I first talk with them, they say, somebody told me I have healing hands,
or I know I have healing hands. So that seems to be a term.
And it's known that we use the hands and really, it's so much more than
(20:21):
that. But it's often just an inner knowing. It's
often an inner knowing. And, you know, the whole
universe speaks to us through others.
So if you've had a lot of people in your life, or even two
or three that have said to you, you're a healer, you. You've got to be
a healer, I'm pretty sure a healer, you're a healer, you should start doing that.
(20:43):
Or just this inner knowing for years. People who know their
healers know it, they just really know it. It's not,
it's not at the level of the mind. You know, they're not stuck in their
mind around it. They're in their hearts around it.
That's why I kind of named the podcast talking about mine, because
(21:04):
I had been stuck for many years, like, wanting to do
stuff and, and just making up excuses. Not like, even with
the podcast, just, oh, I suck. Who
wouldn't listen to me? Why should I start? I was. There's just so
much negative self talk until I finally was like,
stop. And I got out of my own head. I'm like, I'm gonna record
(21:26):
the podcast. It was seven minutes. That's how I
started. And then it just grew from there to where it's at now. So
had I not finally got unstuck
and, and made myself uncomfortable and take
that, and just take that risk and, and record the episode and release,
it wouldn't have been. I wouldn't be where I'm at right now.
(21:49):
And, And I love that. And, you know, it's. It's one of the things
that you and I have in common. It really is. I label
that as a fear of your greatness. Part of your greatness is to talk
with people and help people share their stories and get their message out there
and get, get their own and to allow yourself to be seen
for who you really are. And so I
(22:12):
love the title. As soon as I saw it, I went, oh, pick me,
pick me, please. You know, and. And stuck in my
mind because we're too busy up there and it's getting into
our physical sensations in our bodies. Your body
knew that you're meant to do this podcast. Your heart knew.
And so you got, you got unstuck. I love it. Yeah,
(22:34):
it was, it's been a great,
what, five years now since. Yeah, since I started the
podcast. Going on five years now, actually today,
I think would be the anniversary kind of when I
launched my, my podcast and started my journey.
So it's been. Yeah, it's been amazing being able to have
(22:57):
wonderful conversations and, and have people come share their stories
and, and once I, once I started seeing
the, the effect of the, the podcast was having where
people would reach out and leave comments and, and tell me, oh, this was my
favorite episode or this. That's when I was like, okay, I gotta keep doing what
I'm doing. Yep, because you're changing the world,
(23:19):
you're changing humanity, and you're changing yourself. You're becoming more of who
you are every, every episode. So let me just take a moment and celebrate with
you. Five years. Thank you, thank you, thank
you. That's a great accomplishment. Oh, yeah, no, it,
I, I'm proud of. It is, this is something I don't
know who, I don't know how many people would have thought I would have been,
(23:41):
I would have been doing this for as long as I've been doing it now.
And I just improved with each episode from
where I started to where I'm at now is a big change. And, and
how I ask questions and, and the research that at first I, I,
I'm not gonna, I didn't really,
when I first started, I didn't really know much, so it was just asking
(24:03):
questions and stuff like that. And, and now
it's, yeah, I do research. I, I, I generate questions
that I feel that I want to. These answers that I would like to
know. And so. Yeah. Awesome, awesome. So
worth it. Yeah. Oh, let me. And this is why I
love doing lives, because the comments like this. Thank you, Corrado,
(24:25):
for, for stopping by and, and he's
been here. He's been one of my day one guys. Been listening to me since
day one, when I was strictly an audio podcast. And
then a couple of years in, I, I, I
transitioned to doing video and audio as well. So.
(24:45):
All right, so you mentioned your Reiki
master. How, how has that evolved your practice?
I don't even do Reiki anymore, so it was, it was a real
stepping stone. What I do, I believe, is much more powerful.
It moves, moves energy at a much
(25:06):
deeper, deeper level, but still work with the chakras. So, so it was
through Reiki that I really, I started studying the
chakras through books and
cassette tapes. People
probably don't know. Okrado probably does. I know he knows a cassette
tape. Is, I think everybody knows the old history
(25:30):
anyway. Yeah, so I, I studied with cassette tapes and,
and books and really started to work with the chakras of my
meditations, and then applying that in Reiki when I was in India
was very profound for me, and I worked with such a
magnificent master up in the foot of the Himalayas.
Ushi. Ushi, she was so amazing.
(25:52):
And, and so I still work with the chakras. I still do
that. It's just different. I've gone to a different
level. So you've, you
transitioned from interior design to
spiritual work. What was that shift like for you?
It actually wasn't much of a shift because I had a
(26:15):
spiritual interior design business just do
interior design. I did
space clearings, house blessings. I did readings, I
did healings. I did all sorts of things. And
I would even. I could go into a
home. If there was someone's home, they were having a hard time selling it,
(26:37):
or someone, say, you know, would say just the energy is bad in here, that
sort of thing. I could go, I'd help people sell their homes and, and do
all that sort of thing and find out why it's not selling,
correct it quickly, and then the houses always sell. It was really, really
fun. But it was really, you know, the premise
of my interior design business. My tagline was designing for the
(26:59):
soul. The design. Designing for the soul. So
it was to help people discover again,
deeper, deep, the deeper layer of who they truly are and
express that in their homes. And then you design the home
so it expresses back to them, reflects back to them who they
are. So we would have, you know, in the beginning,
(27:21):
what I would call the feeling meeting. It's like, how do. I had
this binder full of magazine
pages of all different colors, shapes. I had it all in sections,
and I wanted to know how all these things made them feel, made my
clients feel. And then that's what I went with. I didn't just go in and
do my specific thing. No, it was very
(27:43):
personalized. And so whatever was out of alignment in their homes
with who they really were, we had to, you know, they had to get rid
of that and really bring things in. And then
even there was energy work that I did, you know, with the homes. And
I did instinctive feng shui. I
studied with Denise Lin interior alignment and instinctive feng shui. And
(28:05):
that really helped me be able to feel the energy in a space and, and
clear it and that sort of thing. So I was doing all that in my
business, and with some people, it was just straight interior
design. I really specialized in renovations and
soft furnishings. I love textiles and so, you know,
silk drapes, triple lined and the whole
(28:27):
gamut. I, you know, love to do all that sort of thing. Yeah. So
when I transitioned into spiritual work, I
just dropped the interior design part and went into the
spiritual work. Okay,
how does energy healing help someone who's, who's stuck in fear,
(28:47):
doubt or. Burnout moves them into
empowerment. It's, it's.
I don't use affirmations. I don't give
anybody any affirmations. I help people access
their own truths, and so those become their truest
affirmations. I find out what's not true. So it's sort
(29:08):
of like you know, when you're stuck in your mind, you're out of alignment with
your truth a hundred percent. And so I help
them. It's always hidden in the past. It's hidden in our
childhoods. That's when our blocks first start is in our
childhoods always haven't met a person who it wasn't.
Do we have to relive our traumas? Absolutely not. What
(29:31):
we have to do is just release the emotions that are stuck there that we
weren't able to process and discover what
the subconscious beliefs were at that time.
And they all come down to four major beliefs
and not necessarily in this order. I'll just say them,
I'm unworthy. So you might have felt unworthy. You
(29:53):
aren't worthy of doing your podcast. If I can use that as an example, I'm
not enough or I'm not good enough. I don't matter
and I'm unlovable. And then there's all sorts of other
beliefs that branch off what I call those four
major subconscious beliefs. So then I help
you as a little child or toddler, even baby,
(30:16):
overcome those that we move through and we heal you. And then
you discover what is true for you. So often,
let's say, for example, Will, you were stuck in your mind around,
you know, not doing this podcast because maybe your
subconscious belief was, I, I don't matter. I really don't
matter. But you decided one day, you struggled
(30:38):
through your struggle, you healed to a certain extent
enough to start, and now you know how much you matter.
Right. And, and so whatever our, our greatest,
you know, subconscious belief is, that's getting in the way.
We were born to become the opposite.
Yeah,
(31:05):
okay. What, what advice would you give to someone who,
who is spiritual but feels lost in, in the practical
world? Who is spiritual but
feels lost in the practical world? I
tune into that and I wonder.
It could be a number of things. One, the most obvious, you're really not
(31:28):
that grounded. You might be out of body. That will really create a
sense of feeling lost. But there's
also developmentally times in one, at one
time in specific where one feels completely lost. And that's
the dark night of the soul. And you can be a very
spiritual person, but you're just lost. You don't know
(31:50):
where you're heading. And it could be like, it's kind of like
it's often happens when people become an expert at something.
So I, I've been through it. You get really good at
one thing, you've done it for a long time, you become an expert at it.
And then it, it just, you don't find it
fulfilling, but you don't find anything fulfilling. And it could even be a long
(32:12):
term marriage. Marriages go through different phases of development.
It could be a career, that sort of thing. It's often a career
will prompt it, but it could also be that you've been on a spiritual
journey for a long time and you've mastered that. And there comes
a time of unlearning. There
comes a time to surrender. It is not about doing.
(32:36):
It is a time to surrender and allow. And it's
really, it's unlearning everything you didn't know. And
I'm an expert in helping people through that. I love people.
Often, well, they're, they're starting to be younger and younger. It used to
be 50s, 60s, even 70s. And I'm getting people now, even in
their 40s, that are in the dark night of the soul and
(32:59):
they just feel completely lost and nothing is
fulfilling like it used to be. And I remember going through that
in my interior design business. But I had also been on a
spiritual journey for a very long time. So the combination of those
two really put me into that. And we stay in it
for a number of years. I was in it for 10 years before
(33:22):
I finally found a teacher to help me out of it. And it is
often the teacher or the coach finds you,
you feel like you're found and then because the universe is,
is supporting you in that, and then, and then
it's, it's moving through that. But it really is a time of deep
surrender. Deep surrender. Allowing
(33:44):
unlearning. Awesome.
As, as someone who teaches energy online, how do you
ensure the same impact virtually?
We're all connected. We're all one. Everything is one. There's, I mean, there's no
separation. Separation is an illusion. You already know that.
(34:05):
And, and so it really doesn't make
any difference whether I'm, you know, I used to do energy healing
in person for years. And then I, and I also taught
meditation in person for years. And then I started getting people who wanted to
work with me, but they lived, you know, long distances away.
And so I started doing both online and I was blown away. I was like,
(34:28):
wow, there really is no difference. We truly, you
know, are energetically connected. We're one being.
I can definitely vouch for that. There's been been times where
there was one, one time when I, at the
beginning of, of my journey in podcasting and I was
(34:48):
just recording like crazy.
There was a day I recorded, I scheduled, I Scheduled like four interviews in one
day, back to back to back to back. And
at the fourth, at the fourth interview, I still had the same energy
because they were all such great conversations. It was like, it was just an
(35:10):
exchange of energy. So by the time I got to the
fourth episode, I was still wired. And so the guest
was amazed. They're like. Because they, they hadn't, they knew I had done three
episode. Three interviews prior. And they were like, thank you.
I was like, why? They're like, because you still have energy.
And I know you just finished doing three other, three other recordings and
(35:32):
stuff, but I was like, you know what? It's. It was with like, with
each episode it was just like my bar, my battery was just getting recharged.
So. And, and it's been virtually. Most of my interviews
have been all. Well, all my interviews have been virtually except for when
I go to like pod fests and stuff like that and then I get to
interview people there. But for the most part, most of my, my
(35:54):
interviews have been virtually. And they've just been amazing just being able.
The conversation and the, the transfer of energy. And
I've been blessed to have so much, so many, so many
great conversations. May I please give my view on
that? My view is that
you're so in alignment with what you're doing and you're listening to
(36:18):
your speakers and you're so connected that you're, you're in your
highest self. You, you are connected and it really, a
lot of it is the universe flowing through you. So our greatest power,
you know, I write about it in my third book, From Block to Powerful. If
you're going to ask me a question on that, I'm jumping the gun here.
Sorry. No, you're gonna, you don't worry. Go ahead.
(36:41):
But the, the greatest power in the world is allowing the universe,
God, Source, Creator to move through us. And so when I
do an energy healing and I, when I was first doing,
I was doing a practicum for the Hercalia healing and I would
do three or four at a time. I'd get my, my meditation students all to
come over and we'd sit in the same room and the others would be sitting
(37:03):
there waiting or meditating and I would do one after the other after the other.
And you, you actually, I would get more energy. So
whenever I'm, whenever I do healings, I don't get pooped out. I don't get
exhausted, I get more energized. But you're in alignment. You are
not stuck in your head. You are in that flow of energy.
So then it just keeps getting better and better or at least still
(37:26):
the same. And you feel like a million bucks, like you say, still,
you're still wired from it. That's why you do it, because it feels so
darn good. Oh, I love it. Yeah, I, I have a great time doing this.
This is, to me, it's, it's, it's,
it's giving me purpose. It, it really has.
Prior to this, I didn't really know what,
(37:49):
what was my purpose or what was I supposed to be doing. And
podcasting has open, open that and, and
shown me like, all right, you're here to help people. Your
podcast is making an impact. You're touching people's lives
with these conversations because let's be honest, people
need to hear these things. And, and just the fact that,
(38:11):
and this, this, when I first started, there was so much negativity going
on. It was, it was the 2020 elections,
the, the all the, the pandemic.
You had George, Floyd, you had someone. And I just felt that I wanted to
put something out positive and, and have these
conversations so that people can see like, hey, regardless of
(38:33):
what we're going through in life right now or what we've gone through in
life, whatever, there are people to show you that,
hey, you can go overcome it and get through these dark times.
Yes. And, and you were needed and you stuck with it. And you still
are here today when we're having different
hard times, some of the similar hard times, and everything serves us
(38:57):
and it's finding the gold in it all and finding what
serves us. Yeah. And you keep going and you keep inspiring others.
I'm so grateful. What rituals
or spiritual practices do you personally follow every day?
Oh, I've been meditating 31 years. I mean, I don't,
that's, that's a no brainer. So that
(39:20):
is always happening. I go for a walk
every day after lunch. That's kind of my time. It's good
for, good for digestion and that sort of thing. But I tune into the natural
world. I tune into the universe, the natural world. And
sometimes I'll do a walking meditation. You could call it that. Various,
various types. I do the five Tibetan rights
(39:43):
every day. Try and do it every day. Sometimes I miss out on that. I
can be, I can be weak in that. But I usually do a personal
retreat for myself once a year for a week, and that's usually between
Christmas and New Year's where I take the time to really
go inward. And, and so that's
you know, a week long ritual that I, that I do. I used
(40:04):
to do things like full moon rituals all the time and
all sorts of things. And I think when we're on a spiritual path,
we learn things and we stay with them as long as they serve us. And
then we might find something else. And so I'm, I'm sort of like
that. I used to always light a candle when I meditated, and
I learned that in shamanism. And it was just so important to me. And I
(40:27):
just found I was burning way too many candles. I'm like, I don't need to.
And I had big altars, creating altars, vision. I mean,
I've done so many and now it's just very simple. I
meditate, I am, I am tuned in
and I do various types of meditation
and practices. I still do some Sufi practices.
(40:49):
And my, you know, my spiritual practice is my work with my clients.
You know, like I am, I am in the zone when I'm with them.
And it's, it's just such a blessing, not just for them, but for me.
Yeah. What, what is your ultimate
vision or mission with the Star of Divine Light Institute?
(41:10):
My ultimate vision or mission is that
we all recognize ourselves as the Star
of Divine Light. You think of a star as light.
We are all beings of light. We are made of light. Curlian photography
has proven that, that we are all made of love and light and that we
(41:31):
discover that we are all that and we are all connected. We are all one
through that. And so through my various programs, it's really about
empowering others to become who they
truly are and really for everyone to
realize that you're powerful beyond belief. You
couldn't believe, you couldn't see how
(41:53):
powerful your podcast is and how powerful you would
be in it until later on. You
know, it's, it really. We really are all
powerful beyond belief. And one of our greatest fears in life
is discovering that. I know. That's been the story for me
too. It's, it's something I
(42:17):
find, I find sometimes I find myself struggling with is, is
knowing that I know certain things, but
afraid to, to go out and, and take that risk
because I, I don't want, and I
don't know why, but I don't. I don't want people to, to judge me
or anything like. But, and, and, and, and I know in my own head the
(42:38):
only voice that matters is mine. And, but I still
struggle. I'm human. Of course, there's those times where,
where you struggle with those, with those thoughts and Stuff like that, but it's
how I, I respond. And so
being able to do the podcast is my therapy and, and
it's my meditation is my place where I get to
(43:01):
really find myself and, and,
and have these conversations and, and, and be. And just
process everything that, that, that I'm, I'm listening
to and, and learning at the same time. And
so for me, this, this to me right here is what I love to
do. I rather, I can be here all day talking
(43:24):
to people and interviewing people.
It's a connection. Yeah,
but we've, we've come to the part of the show where you get the solo
screen and you get to plug away and let them find out where to get
the books, website, everything. All
right, thank you. So I have
(43:46):
written three books, Heal your neck issues and let your throat chakra shine. So
if you have throat chakra issues, you have trouble speaking your truth
and you're really nodding, expressing yourself fully. That may be a great book for
you, client magnet. If you're a coach, a business owner.
Awesome book to start using and go through and they're all
full of meditations. And then my most recent book, from
(44:09):
blocked to powerful, which is all
about discovering your own inner clarity and
authentic power and expressing that in the world because you are
powerful beyond belief. And I would just like to say
one of the. One of my most favorite things to do is to do chakra
readings on people. You can gain so much
(44:31):
insight and understanding about where you're at in your life right
now. And so you can go on the website starofdivine
light.com there's also, if you go on there,
you can get a free ebook from me,
and that is the Ace method, and it's
all about healing and empowerment and how to do it for
(44:55):
yourself. It explains very briefly a
summary of all the work that I do and how you can learn these types
of meditations so you can heal and become empowered.
And the website is
starofdivinelight.com so you can go
right there. And I'm mostly on Instagram. Great to follow me
(45:15):
there and you can find me stealth dot
Cheryl. So S T e l t
e.cheryl on Instagram. I'm also
a little bit on Facebook and LinkedIn, but I like Instagram.
Awesome, awesome. Hold on one second.
(45:36):
