Core Sets hebben geen beste naam, en dat terwijl de laatste paar edities toch steeds bij veel spelers in goede aarde vielen. Is het dan nog wel terecht om het 'verrassend' te noemen als zo'n basisset goed uitpakt? En hoe past Core Set 2021, ook wel M21 genoemd, in deze recente trend?
Behalve deze kwestie bespreken Jeroen, Kasper en Ido vooral weer een heleboel kaarten (enkele tientallen passeren de revue) en de impact ervan op formats als Pioneer, Modern, Legacy en Commander. Ook het met M21 overlappende nieuwe product Jumpstart, met boosters van 20 kaarten waarvan je er steeds 2 kunt samenvoegen tot een direct speelbaar deck, komt aan bod.
