Sarah Ridgley is a American generative artist.
"My work centers on investigating the materiality of pixels and exploring new techniques and ways of using code as a method of mark-making on a digital canvas.
I use Javascript and the p5js library to build my programs, and I design unique algorithmic brushes and rendering techniques to complete each series.
All my work is the result of highly-ordered chaos. This means that I write very organized instructions to direct the code, but then introduce random parameters so that the computer can try out an infinite variety of results. You can read more about some of my earlier" - Sarah Ridgley
