Il serial è l’unica serie televisiva appartenente al DC Extended Universe (DCEU), essendo lo spin-off del film The Suicide Squad – Missione suicida (2021).
Lo show segue Christopher Smith / Peacemaker, interpretato nuovamente da John Cena, che dopo essersi ripreso dalle ferite riportate durante gli eventi del film The Suicide Squad – Missione suicida, è costretto a unirsi alla misteriosa squadra di black ops dell’A.R.G.U.S. nota come “Progetto Butterfly”
