Here's your So Cal 7-day surf forecast starting tomorrow.
On Tuesday the 26th, expect the size to nudge up slightly with the better breaks reaching the chest-shoulder high range. Southern Ventura and San Diego should hit head high to slightly overhead levels with generally favorable wind and weather conditions.
Wednesday the 27th will continue with similar conditions, providing plenty of waves, especially at the better winter spots in Ventura, parts of OC and SD. Expect waist to chest high surf at most areas with standout spots potentially hitting the shoulder high range. Wind conditions will remain favorable with light offshore winds in the morning.
Moving on to Thursday the 28th, expect to see the surf building throughout the day. West facing breaks are expected to reach double overhead by evening.
Friday the 29th will start with waves at triple overhead height for the early risers, but expect the swell to gradually drop to double overhead later in the day.
Saturday the 30th gets off to a similar start, beginning the day near double overhead before reaching triple overhead by the evening.
As we head into Sunday the 31st, the dawn patrol may catch the remaining triple overhead waves, but you can expect waves to drop to double overhead as the day progresses.
Lastly, we're looking at Monday the 1st with waves being around 2-4 feet overhead at west facing breaks.
In summary, the best days to catch some waves would be on Thursday the 28th and Saturday the 30th with substantial swell and superb conditions.
