episode 205: no longer here to people please...please get your head out of the sand

hi friend!

happy thanksgiving eve! i'd love to tell you that this episode is all about what we're thankful for & finding the good, but honestly, that just did not feel right.

ryan has joined me tonight & we're talking about what's really going on in our world, how we feel about it, & what we think you can - also - do, if you're amenable, to resisting the insanity in this world.

has the podcast taken a turn?  yes.
would it be easier for everyone if i kept my mouth shut & kept focusing on grief, mental health, etc.? probably.
can i live with myself if i continue down that path? absolutely not.

ryan & i are not here to add to the fear mongering. 
ryan & i are not here to pick apart your belief system.

what we are here to do, right here in this minute, is to ask you to look around you, to think critically, to do your research & to actually see what is happening in front of us. 

we're all busy.  we all have a nucleus that we must focus on (kids, spouses, jobs, etc.) but at this point in time, i firmly believe we all need to come together & resist.  
we need to resist the absolute hate & insanity that is happening in our world.
we need to stand up & support one another.
we need to realize that we're all in this together.

i hope that this episode strikes a cord in you & that we are able to move forward together, but if we're not able to, i understand & i wish you nothing but the best.

i've always been thankful for you & i will continue to be thankful for you going forward.
