Miracles are still flowing—and from the most unexpected sources. When life's challenges feel overwhelming, remember that the God who parted the Red Sea still performs wonders today, often using the very hands of your opposition to deliver your breakthrough.

The story of Jehoshaphat offers profound insight into God's miraculous provision. When enemies surrounded God's people, they responded not with weapons but with worship. Through praise and obedience, they witnessed their enemies destroy themselves while leaving behind incredible wealth and resources. This biblical account illuminates a powerful truth: trouble never arrives without bringing potential blessing in its wake.

Are you standing at the edge of your own impossible situation? The key is in your response. "Go as if heaven sent you. Stand as if heaven is backing you." This mindset transforms how you face opposition. Your enemies aren't just fighting you—they're opposing God Himself, and He has never lost a battle. The wealth of the wicked is literally being stored up for you, and what appears to be an attack is actually setting the stage for divine intervention.

Your breakthrough is coming, and it may arrive through the most surprising channels. God refuses to let your enemies succeed against you. He's still in the miracle-working business, and your hope will not be disappointed. Whatever you're facing today, lift your praise and watch as God scatters your opposition and turns your battle into blessing.

What God is doing in your life,he's doing it why?
Because you have not given upon God and God.

(00:24):
Giving up on God and God, hisdesire is for you, he's
committed to you.
Oh, my God, he loves you withan unfailing love.
And so there are miracles thatare being demonstrated in the
lives of God's people.
There are miracles that arebeing demonstrated in the lives
of God's people, miracles thatexceed ordinary expectation,
miracles that surpass earth'slimitations, miracles that go

(00:46):
beyond human explanation.
Miracles, miracles, the windowsof heaven, of heaven, excuse me
, the windows of heaven are openand there are miracles that are
pouring out upon God's people.
God will fulfill yourexpectation.
That's a word for your liferight now.
God will fulfill yourexpectation.
That's a word for your liferight now.
God will fulfill yourexpectation and your hope will

(01:08):
not be disappointed.
Miracles, unexpected miraclesfrom unexpected sources, even by
the hand or through the hand ofyour enemy.

He still works miracles.

God bless you.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
God bless you everyone.
Good evening.
People out there right nowshould be doubly excited.
Not only miracles, but miraclesthrough the hands of our
enemies.
We should have the people'sattention right now, doctor,
miracles coming from the handsof our enemies.

(02:13):
Y'all ought to be turning it upbecause I'm sure you don't want
to miss any portion of thispodcast on this evening.
God bless you to each and everyone.
I'm definitely excited foranother prophetic episode here
at Sweet Fire the podcast.
All right.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yes, yes, miracles, even at the hand of the enemy.
Let's talk about what thatlooks like.
So let's take the example of 2Chronicles, jehoshaphat.
How he gathered the people.
He got word that a great host, there were enemies coming up
against him and the house ofJudah or we know, judah
represents praise, or it meansto God, be praised.

(02:52):
So praise of the enemy was amultitude of enemies was coming
up, jehoshaphat and the house ofJudah, or the house of praise.
Okay, he got that.
And so when Jehoshaphat gotword, he immediately turned his
attention to God to seek thedirection of the Lord.
What did God do?
I mean seek me.
You know, if you seek me, I'llfight your battle Right.

(03:15):
So when the enemy came I need tochop this story up real quick
so we can get to the point whenthe enemy began to pursue, or
when the enemy was in pursuit ofJehoshaphat and the house of
Judah my God, they sent praisefirst, they sent Judah first,
praising God.
And so when they got to thebattlefield, when they got to

(03:35):
the point of the battle, theenemy was already wiped out.
Why?
Because praise, the intensepraise that went forth from the
house of Judah or the house ofpraise, caused the enemy to turn
on himself.
The enemy, actually, theyturned on one another and
destroyed themselves.
When they got there, they werealready destroyed.

(03:56):
So, the enemy, what the enemy?
Do the enemy?
They brought their valuables, they brought their wealth, they
brought their goods to thebattle, they brought their goods
to the fight, and so when theygot there, they were already
destroyed.
Not one of them survived.
And that's a word for you youwill not lose this fight.
Your enemy will not escape.
You will not lose this fight.

(04:16):
Expect to win.
Tell somebody, text somebody, expect to win.
You can expect to win, becausethe battle is not yours, but the
battle belongs to the Lord.
They brought the enemy, broughtthe goods, they brought wealth,
they brought all theirpossessions to the fight, but
they destroyed themselves.
Why?
Because there was a spirit ofpraise that went forth before

(04:37):
the Lord.
And so the word is trouble willcome to your life, but not
without a blessing.
Trouble will pursue you, butnot without reward, not without
benefit, not without benefit, not without the miracle that God
has for your life.
Come on, intercessor, jump in,come on come on.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, that's good.
Yeah, trouble and blessingsright, you could say that
they're married.
Trouble and blessings aremarried.
But before I even jump intothat, going back to Judah, they
sent forth praise, right, theysent forth praise out of
obedience.

(05:15):
They sent forth praise out ofobedience right, because the
previous chapter, it, concludeswith the structure right, the
structure that set it in place,of the judges, right, and the
obedience, how each one wasassigned a task right, and each
task was to go before the Lordfrom their respective veins.

(05:38):
Right, and I find thatinteresting, doctor, the
structure was set in 2Chronicles, chapter 19.
The structure was set in placeright In 2 Chronicles, chapter
20, trouble immediately showedup After the structure.
The trouble immediately showedup.

(05:59):
And out of obedience, what didJehoshaphat and the people do?
They went to God.
They sought God, even in themidst of the fear.
It's okay to be fearful, we'rehuman, right, but we're just not
supposed to stay in that placeof fear.
We're supposed to take our fearright to the place of prayer.
We're supposed to take it tothe Lord from the place of

(06:19):
prayer.
So, jehoshaphat in obedience, him and the people, they sought
God in obedience and theyreceived the answer because of
their obedience and thereforethey were a people who was able
to praise in the midst of thetrouble.
And what did God do?
God honored that sweetobedience, of that sweet aroma

(06:40):
of obedience.
He honored that sweet aroma ofobedience and destroyed the
enemy.
The enemy came out to destroyGod's people, but because of the
obedience and their praiseright, the enemy wound up not
destroying God's people butdestroying their own self,
destroying their own self.

(07:01):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Amen, amen, yes, that's it, my God.
And so when we find out and wediscover that the enemy is
pursuing us, there's an attackthat's taking place I hear this
word and I heard this while youwere speaking, intercessor is we
need to act like heaven sent usto the fight.

(07:23):
We need to act like heaven sentus.
We need to take a stand likeheaven is backing us.
The glory of the lord is on ourside, right, the glory of the
lord is on our side and the lordis moving.
He's acting, he's demonstrating, he's performing on our behalf.
He's performing on your behalf.

(07:43):
Listen.
Go as if heaven sent you, mygod.
Hallelujah.
Go forth.
Go as if heaven sent you, myGod, hallelujah.
Go forth and praise as ifheaven sent you.
Take a stand, my God, againstwhat opposes you, as if heaven
has your back, knowing that theglory of the Lord is on your.
My God is on your side and theLord himself is moving,

(08:08):
demonstrating, performingmiracles in your life, on behalf
of you, on behalf of his people, on behalf of your loved ones.
God is moving on your behalf.
God is moving on your behalf.
God is performing miracles.
God is releasing healing anddeliverance.
He's moving and he's acting onyour behalf.

(08:30):
Come on, intercessor.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
I like that.
That was a mouthful.
A mouthful, excuse me.
Go as if heaven sent you.
Respond as if heaven sent you.
Right Again, going back to youknow blessings and trouble.
You know even being marriedtogether.
Right, they're together,they're married.
Because a lot of times, let'sjust face it, people of God, we

(08:54):
don't experience the blessingsunless there's trouble preceding
the blessings.
Right, that's how we get toknow, you know, the very
character of God.
That's how we become veryfamiliar and intimate with the
persona of our Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ is through trouble, is through difficult times, is

(09:16):
through hardships, and you know.
And then what's at the end ofthe trouble, if we hold out and
hold on to his unchanging handthe blessings, the promises of
God.
And we ought to be found as apeople standing in the midst
thereof, of all theuncomfortability, of pain, of

(09:36):
hardship, of devastation, oftaking a blow after blow after
blow after blow, as if heaven isbacking us.
That's supposed to be ourresponse.
As if heaven is backing us.
We are supposed to have thatconfidence that heaven is
backing us.
Because what Heaven is backingus?
Heaven has sent us.

(09:58):
We're on assignment, hallelujah.
We're here in the earth realmbecause heaven has sent us.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
That's it, my God, heaven has sent us and this, oh
my God, thank you, I love thatand I appreciate the
demonstration that you justdisplayed on this platform.
Listen, listen.
This is for the anointed, thisis for those who are anointed,
this is for those who've gothands on you.
There's a saturation, there'san oil on your life.

(10:27):
Listen, spiritual battles theycome against you.
Forces, they come opposing you.
Why?
Because you're anointed.
You're anointed.
What is it all about?
It's trying to stop or preventor hinder God's will, god's plan
, god's purpose for your life.
But God said if you stand forme and you go as I sent you, go

(10:47):
as if I sent you, go as ifheaven is backing you, I will
scatter the enemy.
I will scatter your enemies, Iwill scatter all who opposes you
.
What is Numbers 10.35, psalm 68and 1?
It says let God arise and hisenemies be scattered.
Whoever is an enemy of God isan enemy of you.
If whoever is saying they'reyour enemy or whatever's coming

(11:11):
up against you, whatever it is,if it's an individual, or if
it's a thing or a substance, whatever opposes you, the enemy
in your life is an enemy to God.
And when God arises, come on,your enemy will do what He'll
flee?
He'll scatter my God, he'llscatter.
So so God, know that God isyour defender, god is your
protector, god is your defenderand God is your protector.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Come on intercessor, amen, and what a scripture says.
It says when the enemy comes inlike a flood.
When the enemy comes in like aflood, not if not, sometimes,
not maybe, but we right, so wehave.
You know that, people of God,as much as we don't like to hear
it, we have that promise, wehave that assurity.

(11:57):
We can take confidence inknowing that the enemy is going
to come, which means trouble isgoing to arise, there's going to
be some devastation, there'sgoing to be some heartache,
there's going to be someuncomfortability because we are
in this thing called life.
So the enemy is going to comein.
But what does scripture also say?

(12:18):
Our enemy will come out againstus one way and flee before us
seven ways.
Right, why?
Because we have heaven backingus.
Amen, we have heaven backing us.
That's why the enemy will comein and attempt to try to take
the people of God out.
But we can rest assured.
In that same confidence, knowing that the enemy is going

(12:39):
to come in, we can stand evenmore bold, knowing that the
enemy is going to flee before usseven ways, because we have
heaven backing us.
And as second Chronicles, chapter 20, talks about, the
enemy is so crazy, doctor, henot only comes out against us,

(13:02):
right, but then he wants tobring as we look at Second
Chronicles, chapter 20, he wantsto bring his goods with him.
He wants to bring his goodswith him to come up against
God's people.
He wants to bring his goodswith him to come up against
God's people.
He wants to bring his goodswith him to come up against
God's people.
And what winds up happening?
The wealth of the wicked iswhat Laid up for the righteous.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Laid up.
My God, yes, yeah, the enemybrought his goods, he brought
his wealth, and that's whathappens.
You know that's that scriptureis so is so true that the wealth
of those who oppose you, thewealth of the enemy, the wealth
of the wicked, is laid up, it'sset aside, it belongs to you.

(13:46):
And understand that God willnot allow your enemy to succeed
against you, your enemy tosucceed against you.
Amen, I'm gonna say that onemore time.
God will not.
God refuses to allow your enemyto succeed against you.
And what seems impossible, itseems impossible.
But my god, god's hand, god'shand of miracles, the resting on

(14:08):
your life exceeds againordinary expectation.
Your hope will not bedisappointed.
The god we serve, he stillworks miracles.
Come on, can you just say thatwith me?
He still works miracles, worksmiracles, and god will
demonstrate the miracles in yourlife through the hand of your

(14:29):
enemy.
Allow god to do it.
Go sent, as if heaven sent you.
Stand because heaven is backingyou, my god, he still works
miracle.
Open up and receive the miraclesof god that are resting, that
are flooding your life.
God still, he's still in themiracle working business.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Come on, intercessor as we get ready to close Amen,
as we get ready to close.
You're speaking, doctor, andyou know God is just pouring
revelation into me.
Right, the enemy in 2Chronicles, chapter 20,.
Right, brought their goods, brought their goods with them.
Right, the enemy was tauntingthem.

(15:13):
The enemy was boastful.
The enemy came out with thespirit of pride and what
happened?
God took the enemy right on out.
This is to encourage someoneout there.
It appears as if your enemy issucceeding.
It appears as if your enemy isflourishing.
It appears as if your enemy isflourishing.

(15:35):
It appears as if your enemy isprospering.
It appears as if your enemy iswinning.
But what the enemy does notunderstand is that the enemy is
not coming out against you, butthe enemy is in battle with God.
So you continue to stand withconfidence and boldness, knowing
that heaven is backing you andthe God that we serve.

(15:57):
He has not lost one singlebattle, but the devil has a
losing record and he willcontinue to lose, that's it.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
That's it, my God, never defeated.
We can't lose for winning.
We were created to win, my God.
Defeat wasn't designed for us.
We were created to win, and sounderstand.
We're going to reiterate thisas we close.
Trouble will come, trouble willhit your life, but trouble,
when it comes, it brings ablessing, it brings breakthrough

(16:31):
, it brings a miracle.
It brings a blessing.
It brings breakthrough.
It brings a miracle.
It brings increase.
It brings the blessing of God,my God, that rest on your life.
There's a blessing of Godresting on the anointed of God.
Give God praise and God willfight for you.
Give God praise, exalt his name, call his name, praise him and
God will exalt you.

(16:52):
Praise him and God will liftyou.
Let God arise and his enemiesbe scattered.
Amen.
Peace be to you, peace be toyour house and peace be to all
you have.

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
