While staying informed about world events matters, many Christians have become so consumed by political happenings and worldly systems that we've lost our spiritual distinctiveness. The result? Missed divine appointments, diminished spiritual sensitivity, and purpose unfulfilled.
What many believers fail to recognize is the powerful spiritual support system operating on our behalf. Angels—described in scripture as "mighty ones" with great strength and capacity—are actively serving believers, protecting us from unseen dangers, and battling demonic forces in the spiritual realm. As the teaching reveals, these heavenly ministers respond specifically to God's Word being spoken, which is why saturating our environments with scripture creates conditions for divine intervention. When angels hear the Word coming from our mouths, they must respond!

Life is busy.
It's busy, it's fast-paced andbecause of so many things that
are happening in the earth realm, there is great distraction.
The Lord showed me greatdistraction that is falling, a
spirit of distraction that hasfallen on the body of Christ,

that is falling on his people,that is making itself very
prominent in the lives ofbelievers, very prominent, very
flamboyant, where people arebeing the hearts of God's people
are being distracted becausethere's so much going on, my God
, there's so much going on,going on, my God, there's so
(00:50):
much going on.
But I heard the Lord say toslow down, because he wants us
to recognize his presence.
He wants us to create space andmake room and redirect our
focus that we would know, my God, that God is with us.
He said he'd never leave us,he'd never forsake us.
He wants us to recognize hispresence and come to an
awareness that the ministeringspirits, the angels of God, are

with us to serve us, my God, toprotect us, and we'll get into
that.

season, a word, you know, forour right now lives, a word for
the people of God.
To slow down because oftentimes, the busyness of life, the
enemy, you know, with thatcunning nature of his, he has a
way, you know, of creeping in inthe busyness of life, you know,

and it appears to be soinnocent because oftentimes, you
know, we become busy with thenecessities of life.
We become busy with thenecessities of life but, on the
same hand, if we're not careful,the necessities of life and the
busyness that the necessitiesof life present themselves in,

they can distract us and get usoff course, get us off focus.
You know where we lose focus.
And God is saying to slow down,slow down, amen.
And this word today is comingas a sign.
This word is coming as a signthere is a shifting, a shifting,

a shifting, a refocusing, aredirecting of our hearts, of
our minds, in the lives of God'speople, for us to align
ourselves with what the HolySpirit himself is doing in this
hour.
We have to realign and becomeaware and, oh my God, wake up
(03:30):
and understand, wake up and see,wake up and perceive what, in
fact, the Holy Spirit is doingin this hour.
Too many are distracted with thenews, too many are distracted
with what's going on in theearth.
My God, yes, pray, yes,intercede.
My God, yes, minister, as Godleads you, speak a word of life

as God leads you.
But too many the Lord showed methis just last week intercessor
are caught up and you'remissing your purpose, you're
missing your call, you'remissing what you've been chosen
to do, you're missing yourpurpose.
You're missing your purpose inministry, you're missing your
purpose in business, you'remissing your purpose in your
home life.
You're missing your purposebecause you're caught up with

what's going on.
Slow down, slow down that's theword, slow down, and this word
is coming up again as a signregarding the shifting.
And so when we understand andI'm going to get through it that
God is, that his presence iswith us, he'll never leave us,

never forsake us, we understandthat he is our source.
He is our sole provider, my God, and what we do in this life
according to the will and thepurpose of God is anchored in
his purpose.
He is our savior, my God.
He rescued us.
He picked us up and turned usaround.
He is our strength when we'reweak.
He's our strength, my God.
He helps us to perseverethrough weakness.
He is our sanctifier.

He sets us apart for service.
He sets us apart for hispurpose.
Recognize that God is with youwherever you are.
God is there.
Come on, intercessor.
Amen, god is there, god isthere.
And you know yeah, it's okay.
As the body of Christ, you knowwe are supposed to be informed.

Right, we should be informed,so you know.
Informed.
So you know we need to be awareof what is happening around us.
But you know, we cannot becomeso consumed by it to where we're
so distracted behind it.
You know, I'm gonna say itagain we cannot become so
consumed by it that we aredistracted behind it.

You know, as the members of thebody of Christ, we are not
supposed to be so involved I'mjust going to say it politically
speaking.
We're not supposed to be soinvolved, politically speaking,
to where much of our dialogue isabout.
The politics is about, you know, what's going on in the world
systems around us.

What are we supposed to do?
We're supposed to be informedbehind it so that we can pray
about it.
That's what we're supposed todo, you know, and it's
unfortunately doctor.
As you know and many of you outthere know, I'm not, you know,
one who sleuths social media alot.
You know I utilize social mediabut I'm not always on social
(06:20):
media.
You know, doing a bunch ofscrolling and reading different
posts and stuff.
But it's unfortunate becausethe times that, you know, the
Holy Spirit will lead me in thatdirection again, because I'm
supposed to be informed aboutwhat's going on around me.
On the platform that I'mutilizing, I'll come across
maybe a post or something that's, you know, a believer.
But however it's so, you know itdoesn't.
(06:44):
It doesn't say believer, itdoesn't present itself as being
a believer.
Right, Because the post is soworldly.
The post is so worldly, youknow, it is so political, if you
will, and that's the problem inthe body of Christ, of Christ
so many are so distracted by,you know, the happenings of

today, to where we're not.
We're blending in, we'reresembling the world.
We're not, you know.
You know we're not looking asif we're not of the world, and
scripture says that we're inthis world but we're not of the
world and we have to as the bodyof Christ.
We have to know, you know, howto prioritize.

And what is priority for themembers of the body of Christ is
those things which arespiritual.
We're supposed to be tuned inspiritually Because when we're
tuned in spiritually we catchour purpose.
We become so in, tuned with thevoice of God.
We know and understand theLord's will for our life.

We know how to stay in stepwith the spirit of truth leading
and guiding us into all truth.
Those things that are spiritualis supposed to be spiritual.
Top priority for the body ofChrist.
Top priority, top priority forthe body of Christ.

My goodness, it just takes meback to where we are, even in
this series.
Heaven has my Back as areminder.
Heaven has my Back.
And prioritizing, you know,prioritizing your life,
prioritizing the things of Godfor your life, in your life,

prioritizing, and again comingback to recognizing the presence
of God.
We're talking about thespiritual things of God,
recognizing the presence of Godin your life, and God is saying
today, not only recognizing mypresence in your life,
everywhere you go, I'm with you,but also understanding that the

host of heaven has your backand that the ministering angels,
the ministering spirit of God,are with you.
To do what?
To serve you, to protect you,my God, servants to believers,
ministers to believers, toencourage, support, protect and

provide divine intervention.
Let's look at Hebrews 1, 14,intercessor.
It says it like this are notall the angels ministering
spirits sent out by God to servewhat is that?
To accompany you, to protectyou, to protect those who

inherit salvation?
We're talking to believers.
This word is not just forbelievers.
We are praying and believingthat there is a word that comes
forth, that exuberates from thisplatform, from this ministry,
that will cause hearts to shift,that will convert people, our
souls, to come to Christ, tobelieve, to have faith.

So, then, faith cometh byhearing, and hearing by the word
of God.
So here's the word of God.

You know who, the ministeringangels who are to serve us.

They are to serve us.
That's loaded.
Ministering angels, listen, whoare to serve us, serve us, tend
to our spiritual needs, tominister to us.

Ministering angels serving uson behalf of God.
They angels serving us onbehalf of God.
They're serving us on behalf ofGod.

This is why the enemy wants usto be so distracted and he

doesn't want us to be tuned inspiritually.
But, people of god, you know,hear me when, when I say we are
literally living in the midst ofa war zone.
That's right, we are living inthe midst of a war zone.
We don't see what's takingplace in the spiritual realm,
but there is war taking place inthe spiritual realm.

There are angels fighting onour behalf, fighting to keep the
people of God safe, fighting toget the word of God to us,
fighting, fighting, fighting.
We are in the midst of aspiritual war zone.
So, even the more so, we cannotallow ourselves to be
(11:52):
distracted by what we see in thenatural, because what we see in
the natural does not matter.
What matters is what ishappening in the spiritual.
So we must be a people,diligently, be in, tuned into
the spirit so we can recognizethat we have the host of heaven
backing us.
(12:12):
Redirect, focus, come on,redirect, focus and recognize.
Get an awareness about yourlife.
Get an awareness so you canimpart into your children, my
God, a word that they understandthat they are not alone.
It's not just mommy and daddyand siblings and cousins and

aunties and uncles and friendsCome on but God, the ministering
angels, the host of heaven, hastheir back.
It's not your seed called to besaved, it's not your seed.
God's hand on the life of yourseed, of your children.
Come on here.
They are an inheritance of theLord, my God.
So it is our due Responsibilityto minister To them, to be

aware, even when they go toschool, wherever they are, on
the playground, wherever theyare, if they're visiting a loved
one or a friend, if they're ata park or an amusement park,
wherever they are, that God iswith them.

Our babies, our babies, ourbabies that we are sending out

to school, our babies that weare sending out to these schools
systems, especially here in theUnited States of America.
We ought to be sending ourchildren out Amen, and awakening
their minds, their little youngminds, that, though they are on
their way to school, they haveangels, their angels are

assigned to them, their angelsare going with them, their
angels are in that classroomwith them.
Their angels are right thereministering to them and serving
them.
We need to be ministering thetruth of the gospel of Jesus
Christ to our children.
It doesn't matter how youngthey are.
They are never too young tostart learning about the Lord,

to start learning about thetruth of the Bible.
Though prayer has been takenout of the schools, though the
word of God is not allowed to bepreached in the school's
parents, it is your duediligence, it is your
responsibility to minister thegospel of Jesus Christ to your
children so that, when yourchildren leave the house, they
are on their way to schoolknowing that heaven has their
(14:28):
back.
Oh my God, yes, yes, yes, and Isay amen to that.

This is the word.
So faith cometh by hearing andhearing by the word of god.
It says for he will command,for he will command his angels.
In regard to you, loved ones,those who are hearing this word

will delegate, oh, my God, hisangels, in regard to you, to
protect, to defend and guard youin all your ways, in all your

What does this let us know ifthe angels bless him.

This is a universal call topraise.

Oh, my God, I command my soulto bless him.

The angels are called in thattime by David to bless the Lord.

He says you, his angels, youmighty ones.
That lets us know that theyhave great strength, they have
great capacity to carry out thewill and the purpose of God,
what God has assigned them to doconcerning you, my God, on your
behalf, on behalf of his people.
They are mighty ones.
They have great strength.

They have great ability, my God, but they serve you with that
power, my God.
Strength.

their great capacity.
Come on, come on To execute,come on Divine, the divine
commands of God.

We're on a battlefield, and tocounterbalance, to battle

demonic forces, that's whatthey're assigned to do on your
behalf.

that we cannot allow ourselvesto be distracted.
We cannot allow ourselves to bedistracted.
The angels respond to the wordof God.

So what does that mean?
When the angels hear the word ofGod coming out of our mouth,
the angels must respond, theymust move on our behalf.
When they hear what?
The word of God, even the moreso.

We cannot allow ourselves to bedistracted by the things that
are happening all around us.
We have to maintain ourspiritual mindset, keep our
spiritual perspective, becausewhen the angels hear the word of
God, they must respond.
They must move on our behalf.
Why?
Because they are here to serveus.
(17:38):
They are here to serve us.
So we must be a people that aresaturating our atmospheres with
the word of God.
If we want to see heaven movein our direction, we must
declare the word of God, amen.
And when the word of God.
And when the angels hear theword of God, amen and when the
word of God.
When the angels hear the word ofGod, and the angels are
responding to what they arehearing.

What's happening, doctor?
We're raining heaven in, we'reushering heaven in.
That's it.
Windows of heaven are open,pouring out blessings.
Now we have room enough not toreceive.
We don't have room enough toreceive what God is pouring out,
period.
We don't have room enough toreceive.

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
