It's Monday, March thirty. First, I'm your host, Ryan Williams.
In Ohio, a young teenager was reported missing and later
found brutally murdered. Her father has since been charged with

the alleged murder. In Florida, a man allegedly shot and
killed his wife after she filed for divorce. And in
North Carolina, a young pregnant woman has been arrested and
charged with murder for the stabbing death of her boyfriend.

Sword and Scale Daily. On the morning of Monday, March seventeenth,

a woman contacted the Toledo Police Department in Ohio to
report that her granddaughter was missing under suspicious circumstances. When
officers were responded to the home and spoke with the
reporting party, later identified as Dorothy Ladigue, she explained that
she had come home to find that the stove was on,
gas was leaking into the home, and that her granddaughter,
fourteen year old Kimani Ladigue, was nowhere to be found.

Dorothy also found that Kai Moni's prescription glasses were left
in the home, which was pretty unusual and as the
teenager couldn't see without them. She later spoke with media
and stated, quote, it was Monday morning and when I
came home, she wasn't here. Of course she was supposed
to be on her way to school, but according to
the way that the house was set up, once I
got here, it was in complete disarray. She wasn't here.

So I called the school so I could talk with her,
and they said that she wasn't there. Other than her
and I. It's just two dogs in the house, so
who cut the gas? That was kind of suspicious. Her
glasses and her underclothing were by the couch in the front.
Her pajamas were on the dining room floor. Ky Monnie
wasn't the kind of teenager who was going to leave
on her own accord and worry those closest to her.

The responding officers all agreed that Kamannie's disappearance was extremely
suspicious and passed the case over to investigators to follow
up on. Family and friends would gather in groups to
not only search for k Monnie, but also to hand
out flyers. Two days after k Monnie was reported missing,
the media spoke with her father, thirty three year old
Darnell Jones, and what he told the media was pretty odd.

He stated, quote, I last saw kay Moni late on
Sunday night. I came over there because she said it
seemed like somebody was trying to break into the house.
Me and my cousin sat here for over an hour
and we left around twelve thirty. With that information, investigators
had a new person to speak with, as Darnell was
the last known person to see Kmanni. By Monday, March

twenty fourth, investigators had been led to an abandoned burnout
home on Miami Street during their search for the missing teenager. Inside,
they discovered a gruesome scene. Kay Moni had been located,
but someone had done something absolutely horrific to her. Toledo
Fraternal Order of Police official Brian steele Well later spoke
with the media and stated, quote, this is one of
(03:03):
the most horrific cases I've ever heard of. This is
a fourteen year old who was murdered, raped, had her
hands cut off, and her throat almost cut off. A
later autopsy revealed that k Moni had died as a
result of multiple quote unquote in sized wounds of the neck.
The same day that investigators had found k Moni, the
Toledo Police announced they were looking for her father, Darnell Jones,

who was then being charged with the murder of the teenager.
And then, on the morning of Tuesday, March twenty fifth,
at around ten am, Darnell was located. But things didn't
go quite as planned. As officers moved in to get
Darnell into custody, he pulled out a gun, leading to
an officer involved shooting. Fortunately, the shooting was not fatal,
as Darnell was taken to a local area hospital where

he remains in stable condition. This means that Darnell will
face justice for the charges that are leveled against him.
This case is rapidly developing and were likely to learn
more in the coming days and weeks. The more details

On the afternoon of Tuesday, March twenty fifth, police in Orlando, Florida,
responded to a home on Livingstone Street after a woman
called nine one one and reported that her son in
law had shot her daughter. When responding officers arrived on
the scene, they made their way into the home and
found a woman to cease from multiple gunshot injuries. She
was later identified as forty two year old Takeishia Eads.

When homicide investigators arrived on the scene, they spoke with
Takeishia's mother, who made that initial nine one one call.
According to the victim's mother, she named forty one year
old Lamar Bryant as the alleged shooter. Lamar is the
estranged husband of Takeishia. Investigators also spoke with Lamar and
Takeishia's daughter, who had been with the suspect before the

shooting occurred. Now. According to the daughter, she had been
picked up by Lamar at around three thirty pm that
afternoon un when she got out of school. When Lamar
picked her up, she noticed that he appeared to be
under the influence of alcohol. Once they left the school,
Lamar then drove to a liquor store where he purchased
what's only been described as a glass bottle of alcohol.

Lamar's next destination was a storage facility. On the drive,
his daughter observed him drinking straight from the bottle as
they drove. Lamar's daughter told investigators that that storage unit
was where he'd often hide both firearms and narcotics. When
they arrived, Lamar parked far away from the unit so
his daughter couldn't see him. A few moments later, he

returned to the car and placed two glock handguns on
the center console. Afterward, he then drove his daughter to
the home on Livingston Street. Upon their arrival, Takeishia came
out and spoke with Lamar at the driver's side of
the car while his daughter went into the home. Both
Lamar and Takisha took some time to talk before she
herself headed inside the home. Lamar followed behind Takeisha, allegedly

under the guise of needing to use the restroom. However,
just moments later, multiple gunshots went off, and Lamar quickly
exited the home and fled the scene. Lamar would be
located later that day and taken into custody. He's since
been charged with first degree premeditated murder. At first, many
wondered what could have led to this unfortunate and tragic situation,
(06:20):
and as it turns out, Takeshia had recently filed for divorce.
When the two were talking outside of the car before
the shooting, she was pleading with Lamar to sign the
divorce papers. Investigators believe that this divorce is the reason
that Lamar allegedly shot and killed Takeishia will continue following
this story and bring you an update when more information
becomes available. On Monday, March twenty fourth, at around two am,

officers with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department in North Carolina,
as well as paramedics, responded to a home on the
thirty four hundred block of Brooklyn Drive for a reported
assault with a deadly weapon. When first responders arrived on
the scene, they found a young man unresponsive inside the home.
The victim, later identified his twenty year old Sha Marie
Bell Brown, was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically

died shortly after arrival. A later autopsy revealed that Sha
Marie died as a result of a stabbing injury. Homicide
investigators then traveled to the home on Brooklyn Drive to
investigate what led to the victim's death. They started by
speaking with the victim's mother, later identified as Shaye Brown.
Shaye told investigators that shortly before she called nine one one,

she heard a commotion in Shaw Marie's room and went
to check on him. When she turned on the light,
she saw Sha Mari holding his chest, and his shirt
was quickly becoming drenched in blood. She later recalled what
her son said when she first encountered him in the bedroom.
She stated, quote, Ma, please, please, don't let this happen
to me. Mommy help me. Shae immediately dove into action,
(08:00):
grabbing her son and tried to apply pressure to the
area that was bleeding. While she was doing this, she
was trying to keep Sha Mari calm until help arrived.
She told him, quote, Sha Marie, You're gonna be okay.
Shay later told the media that Sha Mari assured her
that he'd be okay, but then he became unresponsive. During
a later interview with the media, Shay stated, quote, I

watched my baby's life slowly leave his body. The biggest
question was who would want to hurt Sha Marie, and
more importantly why. Fortunately, Shaye knew that someone had been
in the home with her son during the evening and
early morning hours, that being twenty year old at Maya Jones,
sha Mari's girlfriend. By the time that Shaye found her son,

Maya was nowhere to be found. On Monday evening, just
under twenty four hours after Sha Mari died, Maya was
located and brought in to be questioned. It's not currently
known how much Maya has cooperated with investigators, but we
do know that she was arrested and has since been
charged with first degree murder. During her arraignment hearing on Tuesday,

a judge ordered that Maya be held in custody without
bond ahead of her trial. She remains in custody at
the Mecklenburg County Jail. It's also been discovered that Maya
is twelve weeks pregnant with Shamrie's kid. A motive isn't
currently known, but we are following this story closely. When
