The beginning of summer can only mean one thing! Paddle Boarding! We decided to travel inland to the warmth of Northern California and play in the Redding and Shasta areas. Amazing pizza in the middle of nowhere, some of Jake's favorite donuts, baked goods, and even soap!

Meet Bill! Aka "Grumpy"! They're just a baby now but they'll grow to be a very handsome, or pretty, monkey puzzle tree. It takes about 20 years to determine the sex of a monkey puzzle tree so lookout for the gender reveal in the future! Oh, there's also ice cream, breakfast burritos, beer, and I think a smash burger somewhere in this episode too! We left no donut unturned during this trip up Hwy 101.
