Take Notice: Amplifying Black Stories
Season 4, Episode 3: Kimberly Walker
Join the conversation with Kimberly Walker as we discuss her entrepreneurial and social work journey, her experience as a beauty queen, and her future aspirations. Kimberly is an inspirational speaker, professor, author, motivator, entrepreneur, and a beauty queen who sells tea. Walker has coupled her love for tea and self-care. Her passion is to inspire and motivate women to embrace their whole self; to see, to accept, to love and soar into their personal awesomeness.
As a serial entrepreneur, she believes that every woman should leap towards her dreams. Kimberly defines empowerment as the promotion of self-actualization of one’s inner beauty and power. Kimberly believes we all deserve to live and be our best especially while sipping tea. Walker states we have the right to be perfectly imperfect to look and feel fabulous while doing it.
Kimberly’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Washington State University’s Edward R. Murrow School of Communications and a Master of Social Work degree with emphasis on Policy & Administration and School Social Work from the University of Washington’s School of Social Work. Topped off with Beauty Industry Essentials certification from Fashion Institute of Technology State University of New York.

Intentionally Disturbing
Join me on this podcast as I navigate the murky waters of human behavior, current events, and personal anecdotes through in-depth interviews with incredible people—all served with a generous helping of sarcasm and satire. After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
