In this episode, titled “Coming Attractions” from 1 Corinthians 15:21-22, God has Paul address the notion some had that there is no such thing as the resurrection. In fact, he writes that if no one can rise from being dead, then Jesus is not alive. If Jesus is still dead, then Paul and anyone who makes disciples is doing so in vain. If Jesus did not rise from the dead, then all who follow Him are still guilty of sin and subject to the penalty of our sin, which is death.
Jesus was born at the right time and died at the right time to provide salvation to us before it was too late. Being born as a man was the only way for Him to enter into death and show He has power there as well and bring us back into His shalom. The next time He comes, it will be to resurrect all who died in Him to life in the flesh. In a broken world of pain, problems, and hurting people, it is not just good news, but it is the best news to know that death is not the end. Death began as a consequence of sin, and was something we dreaded, but because of Jesus, it is a welcomed friend because everything that has been touched by sin has to die, but those who are in Jesus will get to live forever in flesh that will never die.
Boysober
Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
