Did you know most intimacy products are made with toxic, unregulated materials—by men, for women? Neither did I, until I spoke with Rebecca Alvarez Story, founder and CEO of Bloomi. She saw an industry where women were the consumers but not the decision-makers, so she set out to change that. She’s not just creating better, safer products—she’s building a movement. And like most women founders, she’s had to fight harder, push further, and work ten times as hard to get the funding and recognition that male-led companies get handed. But she’s proving that when women lead, we don’t just participate—we revolutionize.

Key Takeaways:

  • The fight to bring female-led innovation to a male-dominated industry.
  • How Bloomi became the first sex toy brand in Target—and why it caused controversy.
  • The massive gap in funding for women and Latina founders.
  • Why intimacy should not be taboo but prioritized as self-care.
